ORGANIZATIONS: Mrs. Jobson was an avid animal lover and also enjoyed gardening. Served as a Committee Woman for the Republican Party in Chester Heights and as a Girl Scout Leader.

SURVIVORS: Wife of the late Samuel Jobson who died in 1987; She is survived A Son: Edward Samuel Jobson of Aurora, Colorado; A Daughter: Janet R. (Chuck) Pedrick of Wilmington, Delaware; Also survived by Four Grandchildren, Two Great-Grandchildren and Three Great-Great-Grandchildren; Sister of the late Blanche Herrman who died in 2005.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Saturday from The Minshall-Shropshire Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA where friends may call aftr 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.

AT: Springfield Hospital BORN IN: Middletown, Connecticut HAD BEEN A RESIDENT OF Middletown Twp., PA for 50 years.

EMPLOYED: Homemaker

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member Middletown Presbyterian Church

Other: Charter member Sons of Norway Restauration Lodge #3-555, Wallingford, PA. An avid gardener and accomplished artist who enjoyed painting. She was a woman devoted to her home and family.

Devoted wife of 38 years to the late Leonard O. Johnsen who died in 1981. Sister of the late Jean Kaczorowski who died in 2005.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by A Son: Kenneth L. Johnsen of Middletown Twp., PA; A Granddaughter: Meghan E. Johnsen of Bensalem, PA; a Grandson: Timothy J. Johnsen of Middletown Twp., PA. Special Aunt to Jean Sherer of Southampton, New Jersey and Rita Kristiansen of Williamsburg, Virginia.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Middletown Presbyterian Church, 273 S. Old Middletown Road, Media, PA where friends may call from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Interment in Middletown Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Johnson, Helen "Faye"

Helen "Faye" (nee Westbrook) Johnson, Loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Retired Food Service Associate; Brandywine School District, 71, Of Wilmington, DE and formerly of Upland, PA

Died: Wednesday, May 14, 2008, after a two year battle with cancer. BORN IN: Cambridge, MD, she had been a long Time Resident of Upland, PA before moving to Wilmington, DE in 1966

Employment: Brandywine School District as a Food Service Associate for 25 years, retiring in 1991.

ORGNIZATIONS: Mrs. Johnson was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Her greatest joy was her two precious grandchildren, and spending time with her family and friends. She was an animal lover and enjoyed visits from her "furry grandchildren". Mrs. Johnson was an avid Philly's sports fan who enjoyed watching the Phillies and Eagles.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Upland Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in the 60's and 70's and was recently presented with Honorary Membership to the Upland Fire Co. #1. She really enjoyed volunteering her time and supporting the men and women at the fire company.

Daughter of the late William H. and Josephine N. (nee Taylor) Westbrook.

SURVIVORS: Survived by her husband of 53 years, Harold "Sonny" Johnson; Son and Daughter in Law Steven J. and Sandra L. Johnson, of Wilmington, DE.; 2 Brothers; William D. Westbrook of Upper Chichester, PA and Carl Westbrook of Northeast MD; Grandchildren; Stephanie Lee and Shelly Faye; In laws; Ms. Margaret Watson of Wilmington, DE, Mr. & Mrs. Donald VanDemark of Levittown, PA, Mr. & Mrs. Albert Montello of Boothwyn, PA, Ms. Carmen Johnson of Coatesville, PA, Ms. Mary Wholahan of Aston, PA. and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Service Saturday, 11:30 a.m. at The Minshall-Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Route 352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA where friends and relatives may call after 9:30 a.m. Interment Upland Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ralph Byron Johnson AGE: 85

OF: Swedesboro, NJ and formerly of Upland, PA

DIED: Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center BORN IN: Williamsport, PA he had been a resident of Upland for 50 years, before moving to Swedesboro 8 years ago.

EDUCATION: Graduate Temple University School of Pharmacy

VETERAN: US Army serving with the medical department during World War II

EMPLOYMENT: Johnson Pharmacy, Parkside where he was the owner/operator Retired in 1984

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member Upland Baptist Church and former Member Upland United Methodist Church where he served as the former President of the Board of Trustees and sang in the Choir.

Other: A man devoted to his home and family. He was the Former President of Delaware County Pharmaceutical Society and served for 6 years as the Chester-Upland School Board Director. Member of the Gideon's International, Ridley Community Choir and International Society of Poets and a published author. He volunteered at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in the transport department and patient information.

Husband of the late Carrie Massey Johnson.

Father of the late Allen Johnson who died in 1973

SURVIVORS: Survived by One Son: R. Wayne (Evangeline) Johnson of Swedesboro, New Jersey; One Brother: Laverne (Barbara) Williams of Florida; Also survived by Five Grandchildren and Five Great-Grandchildren.
