FOR 10 years, before moving to Brookhaven, 24 years ago.

EDUCATION: Graduate Clifton Heights High School Class of 1952

EMPLOYED: Owner of Bill Kanuika's Speed Shop, Yeadon, PA

ORGANIZATIONS: CHURCH: Attended Full Gospel Assembly Church, Brookhaven, PA

Other: A man devoted to his home and family. A car enthusiast he enjoyed drag racing. During the mid 1950's he held the national land speed record for drag racing.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife of 37 years Sharon (nee Martin) Kanuika; One Son: William W. Kanuika, IV of Brookhaven, PA; Four Daughters: Shari Huber of Wilmington, Delaware, Kim English of Claymont, Delaware, Holly Kanuika of Wilmington, Delaware and Jill Kanuika of Media, PA; Two Brothers: Steve Kanuika of West Chester, PA and Michael Kanuika of Gradyville, PA; Two Sisters: Patricia Trimble of Wildwood, New Jersey and Mary Schober of Hunting Beach, California; Also survived by Six Grandchildren. Brother of the late Catherine Gorman.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Service Tuesday 11:00 a.m. from by The Minshall-Shropshire Funeral Home, Middleltown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.

EMPLOYMENT: Westinghouse AS A Machinist FOR 40 years UNTIL HIS RETIREMENT in 1981.

VETERAN: US Coast Guard WAR World War II

ORGANIZATIONS: CHURCH: Member Third Presbyterian Church, Chester, PA

Other: Mr. Kaufman loved and was devoted to his grandchildren. He enjoyed Florida spending his winter's there for the last 23 years. An avid sportsman who liked fishing and the Phillies. He was a member of the Parkside Retires Club and was involved with the Boy Scout and served as a Scout Master with Troop #343, Chester, PA.

SURVIVORS: Husband of the late Doris M. (nee Smith) Kaufman who died February 2000; He is survived by A Daughter: Judith A. Carroll of Aston, PA; A Son: Robert L. Kaufman, Jr. of Brookhaven, PA; A Sister: Dorothy Shelhamer of Brookhaven, PA; Also survived by Seven Grandchildren.

Graduate Susquehanna University Class of 1954

VETERAN: US Navy serving on the Bonn Homme Richard in the Pacific Theatre.

EMPLOYMENT: Mr. Keener worked as a Salesman in the chemical industry.

ORGANIZATIONS: Mr. Keener was a man devoted to his home and family. He was a member of Order of DeMolay, the Masonic Lodge, Maple Shade New Jersey and the Indian Guides.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife of 52 years, Alice F. (nee Fellows) Keener; Two Sons: Dwight E. Keener, Jr. of Aston, PA and Charles F. Keener of Media, PA; A Daughter: Margaret S. King of Havertown, PA; Also survived by Ten Grandchildren and One Great-Grandchild.

Roxanna Kelley AGE: 68

OF Upper Providence Twp., Media, PA and formerly of Houston, Texas Died on Monday, January 21, 2008 at home due to complications from a stroke.

BORN IN: Albany, New York She had been a resident of Houston, TX before moving to Upper Providence, Media, PA.

EDUCATION: University of Randolph Macon with a Masters Degree in biology

University of Houston Masters Degree in Neuropsychology, she received this degree after she raised her children and returned to graduate studies
University of Radcliffe Ph.D

She received a meritorious grant for doctoral work at Radcliffe.

EMPLOYED BY: Psychologist, Teacher and Mentor. She co-founded Heart's Wellness Center, Houston—a clinic for the treatment of the chronically mentally ill which utilized depth and expressive arts therapies. She designed programs for the rehabilitation of prison inmates in the Philadelphia area and created the SMILE program to encourage mental health among Philadelphia's school-age children.

ORGANIZATIONS: She was a student of the Science of Spirituality for over 30 years. A compassionate, loving and brilliant soul, she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Member of The Science of Spirituality, Swarthmore Friends of Music and Dance, and the Jung Society of Philadelphia. Roxanna was an accomplished psychologist, teacher and spiritual mentor who touched the lives of hundreds of People around the globe.

SURVIVORS: Survived by her children: David, Tiffany and Frederick Baughter; Four Grandchildren: Raphael, Gabriel, Ashley and Frederick, Jr.; A Great-Grandchild Raiden.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Memorial Service Sunday, 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 145 W Rose Tree Road, Media, PA. Reception to follow at the Kelley household.

EDUCATION: Graduate Drexel University where he attended night school earning a BS Degree in Engineering and later his MBA

EMPLOYED: Vice President of Penn Steel. He began working at Penn Steel right out of school and while earning is BS and MBA Degrees at Drexel University.

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Long-time active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Chester, PA where he served on the Finance Board and the Board of Trustees. He also sang in the Choir.

Other: Member of Penn Lodge #709 and NUR Temple where he served as past Commander. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and making clear candy toys.

SURVIORS: Survived by his wife of 64 years, Esther Boluck Kelley; A Son: David (Alana) E. Kelley of Oberlin, Ohio; A Daughter: Kristine (Al) Cipolloni of Moyland, PA; A Brother: Jerry Kelley of Middletown Twp., PA; Also survived by Four Grandchildren: Jonathan and Trevor Cipolloni and Matthew and Zachary Kelley and One Great-Grandson: Solomon Kelley.
