BORN IN: Philadelphia but moved to Collingdale where he resided until he married Josephine at which time they moved to Philadelphia. After 53 years in Philadelphia, Rocco returned to Delaware County taking up residence in Brookhaven, PA, 6 years ago.

EDUCATION: Graduate South Philadelphia High School Class of 1939

Attended Temple University

VETERAN: US Naval Air Force WAR World War II

Recipient Of American Theater Ribbon and Victory Medal

EMPLOYED: Construction Engineer for over 40 years. Retired 1984.

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member Church of Our Lady of Charity, Brookhaven, PA

Other: Rocco had a life long love of music as a Drummer and Band Leader. His music career went back to his childhood when he performed on the Major Bowes Show and The Kiddie Hour. He was the Drummer for the Elliot Broza Big Band. He also had his own Band, the Roxy Lee Big Band. He was a Member of The Philadelpia Vineland and Wilmington Musicians Unions.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife of 59 years, Josephine (nee Starinieri) Liuzzi; Two Sons: Joseph Liuzzi of Media, PA and Frank Liuzzi of Washington Township, New Jersey; A Sister: Grace DiPeppe of Vero Beach, California; Also survived by Five Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:30 a.m. from The Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Road, Brookhaven, PA 19015 where friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Marple Twp., PA. Arrangements by The Minshall-Shropshire Funeral Home, Middletown Twp., Media, PA.

Mrs. Livingstone lived in Chester and Upland when she first came over from Scotland. She had been a resident of Brookhaven, for 43 years.

EMPLOYED: Riddle Memorial Hospital for 25 years, as a Billing Clerk.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by A Daughter: Cindy (John) May of Middletown Twp., PA; A Son: Bruce Livingstone of Brookhaven, PA; Grandchildren: Michele May and John May, Jr.

She was the wife of the late William Livingstone and mother of the late Sandra Livingstone.

EMPLOYED: Philadelphia Electric Company as a Supervisor, Gas Utilization Division in Delaware County for 36 years. Retired in 1986.

ORGANIZATIONS: A man who was devoted to his family. He was a member of the Brookhaven and Parkside Senior Citizens. He was a horse enthusiast and enjoyed playing cards especially poker.

Husband of 57 years to the late Mary R. (nee Howie) Lockard who died in 2005.

SURVIVORS: Survived by Two Sons: James (his wife Diana) Lockard of West Chester, PA and Richard Lockard of Parkside, PA; One Daughter: Patricia (her husband Mitchell) Allen of Wallingford, PA; Also survived by Six Grandchildren: Richard, Jr, Jennifer, Victoria and Michael Lockard and Michael and Amanda Allen.

John W. Lockee, Sr., age 78 years of Aston Twp., and formerly of Philadelphia ,PA died on Monday Dec. 24, 2007 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Middletown Twp., PA.

Born in Philadelphia, PA he had been a resident of Aston Twp., for the past 55 years.

He was a member of Local # 542 as a heavy equipment operator and was a master mechanic for a large part of the construction of the Blue route.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War where he was a radio operator.

He was proud of his American Indian heritage.

He was very active with Alcoholics Anonymous for over 40 years.

Husband of the late Joan (nee Musumeci) Lockee who died in 2002. He is survived by 2 sons: John W. Lockee , Jr. of Aston,PA & Joseph J. Lockee of Prospect Park, PA. 1 daughter: JoAnn Brown of Aston,PA. Brother of Evelyn, Shirley, and Margaret. Also survived by 8 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services on Friday evening 8:00 PM from the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton rds., Middletown Twp., Media,PA where friends may call after 7:00 PM. Interment private.
