Margolis, Gina

Gina Margolis of Wallingford Pa

was called home to our Lord Jesus Christ by reason of respiratory failure on September 9, 5pm at her home in the presence of her children.

Born in Franklin Massachusetts to parents Marino and Cesira Inforzato, Gina moved to Philadelphia when she was 5 and later to Delaware County where she found home for the past 36 years, 20 of them in Wallingford.

Throughout her entire life, Gina dedicated her whole self to family and her seven children. True to faith and with a loving heart, Gina loved and cherished her children and centered her whole life on them.

With a passion for music and the art of dancing, Gina's favorite hobbies were singing, playing the piano and lighting up the ballroom dance floor with her late husband Martin and many dear friends.

As a faithful Catholic and love for the Lord, she inspired the construction of a new Blessed Sacrament Adoration Chapel at her church, St. John Chrysostom in Wallingford Pa. The Chapel was blessed, commissioned and presented in Gina's honor on November 3, 2003 by Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua.

Gina is survived by her three sons, Deric Margolis and wife Irene of Swarthmore Pa, Ken Margolis and wife Debbie of Rose Valley Pa, Rod Margolis and wife Michele of Somerdale NJ, two daughters, Cheryl Jankowski of Rehoboth De and Beverly Young and husband George of Sewell NJ along with 25 grand children, 21 great grand children and two great great grand children and dearly remembering her late children Ronald Salvatore Orlando (survived by his wife Sherry ) and Marlene Dickey (survived by her husband Gene)

Gina will be missed by all who know her and for many wonderful reasons, but perhaps the simplest of them all is how she would sign all celebration cards, how she would say good bye to her children and how she would end every phone conversation with them using her favorite words.

"Love! Love! Love You!"

Viewing is Thursday September 14, 10am followed by a Funeral Mass, 11am at St. John Chrysostom Church, 617 South Providence Road, Wallingford, Pa. Interment Media Cemetery.
