ORGANIZATIONS: Harriet was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was passionate about her music and was an accomplished pianist. One of her greatest joys was playing along with her husband who was a violinist.

SURVIVORS: Survived by her husband George Matteo of Wallingford, PA; Three Daughter: Cindy Cottman, Ginny Palusky and Susan Brooke Cottman; Three Grandchildren Graham Palusky, Taylor Palusky and Leiyana Pearl Song.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Services where Friday October 17, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from the Minshall-Shropshire Funeral Home, Middletown Twp., Media, PA, Rev. Dr. James Hallam officiating. Interment followed at Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.

DIED: Suddenly on Saturday, January 26, 2008, and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. AT Riddle Memorial Hospital

Born: Chester, PA to the late Nicholas Mattero and Josephine Lombardo. He had been a resident of Brookhaven, PA for 22 years.

EDUCATION: Graduate Chichester High School Class of 1970

EMPLOYMENT: He was the owner and operator of N. Mattero and Sons, Inc of the Port of Wilmington.

ORGANIZATIONS: A man devoted to his entire family. He also was a dedicated businessman. He had an interest in antique cars and being involved with antique car shows.

He was the brother of the late NIcholas Mattero who died in 2002.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife of 36 years Linda C. (nee Pietryka) Mattero; Two Daughters: Nicole (Stephen) Lorenski of Brookhaven, PA and Donna Mattero (Eric) Bridwell of Brookhaven, PA; Two Sons: Vincent M. Mattero of Parkside, PA and Christopher J. Mattero at home; A Brother: Francis Mattero of Brookhaven, PA; A Sister: Mary Bickelman of Milford, Delaware; Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
