Doris (nee Dawson) Moore AGE: 88

OF: Lakewood, New York On June 7, 2007 in Lakewood, Ny Born in Chester, PA on June 15, 1918 the eldest daughter of the late George and Gertrude Baxter Dawson.

EDUCATION: Graduate Chester High School

EMPLOYMENT: Upon moving to Lakewood, Mrs. Moore was employed as a Manager of the Walden Book Store, and volunteered her time at the Lakewood Library and Prendergast Library, reading for the blind.

ORGNIZATIONS: Mrs. Moore enjoyed traveling, reading, antiques and her dearly-loved grandson, Thomas, and his Jack Russell. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be forever missed.

Wife of the late Thomas W. Moore who died February 24, 1999. They married on May 1, 1948. Thomas, Doris and their son moved to Lakewood NY in 1968.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by A Son: Thomas (Debra) Moore of Lakewood, NY; A Grandson: Thomas Moore of Lakewood, NY; Two Sisters: Jeanne Pietro of Merion Station, PA and Joy Murray of Newark, Dealawre; Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

SERVICE INFORMATION Graveside Service and Interment will be Tuesday 1:00 p.m. in Media Cemetery, Media, PA.

Moore, Irene F.

Irene F. (nee Lawton) Moore AGE: 85

OF: A Resident of Fair Acres & formerly of Chester, PA DIED: Wednesday, April 18, 2007 AT: Fair Acres

BORN IN: Brooklyn, New York to the late Albert L. and Irene Menje Lawton.

EDUCATION: Graduate Chester High School Class of 1940

Attended Sleepers Business College, Chester, PA

EMPLOYED: Bookkeeper for General William G. Price, Jr. who built the former Eyre Park Homes and the houses in Sun Village.

ORGANIZATIONS: Mrs. Moore was especially devoted to her late husband who was the love of her life. She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, knitting and embroidering.

Beloved and Very Devoted Wife of 47 years to the late Robert B. Moore who died in 1989. Sister of the late Edward J. Lawton who died in 1990.

SURVIVORS: Survived by Two Daughters: Nancy M. Kelly of Newark, Delaware and Terry M. (George) Owen of Aldan, PA; A Sister: Emma F. Mower of Wallingford, PA; Also survived by Two Grandchildren: Lindsey and Timothy Owen.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Monday at The Minshall-Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment Chester Rural Cemetery, Chester, PA.

DIED: Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at Crozer-Chester Medical Center surrounded by her family.

BORN IN: Upland, PA, she had been a resident of Brookhaven, PA for 9 years.

EMPLOYMENT: Bill's Country Kitchen formerly known as Pete's Country Kitchen as a Short Order Cook/Waitress for over 25 years.

SURVIVORS: Survived by her Long Time Partner James Cranmer of Aston, PA; A Daughter: Debi (Mickey) Drill of Brookhaven, PA; A Son: Ronald (Barbara) Moretti of Newark, DE; Seven Grandchildren: Dan Drill of Tampa, FLA, Bill Drill of Middletown, DE, Rick Drill of Colora, MD, Jason Drill of Oxford, PA, Sabrina Hickman of Brookhaven, PA, Kenny DelGrosso of Claymont, DE and Michael Moretti of Oxford, PA; Six Great-Grandchildren: Nicole Drill, Melissa Drill, Jessica Drill, Amanda Drill, Tyler Drill and Justin Hickman;

Morgan, II, George N.

George N. Morgan, II AGE: 60

OF: Boothwyn, Upper Chichester, PA

and formerly of Aston, PA

DIED: Wednesday, October 29, 2008

AT Home BORN IN: Japan He had been a resident of Aston, PA before moving to Upper Chichester, PA 30 years ago.

EDUCATION: Graduate Sun Valley High School Class of 1968
Graduate BS Degree in Business Management Class of 1972
Widener University (Formerly PMC), Chester, PA

EMPLOYMENT: Mr. Morgan held the position of a Coordinator at the Delaware County Emergency Service Training Center, Sharon Hill, PA, where he had been employed for twenty years.

ORGNIZATIONS: Church: Member St Timothy's Lutheran Church, Aston, PA

Other: A man who was devoted to his home, family and Community. Mr. Morgan was a life member of the Delaware County Firemen's Association and also held various memberships with other Fire and Arson Organizations. He served as past Chief of Green Ridge Fire Company as well as the former Delaware County Fire Marshall. In 1981 he attained the honor of Fireman of the year.

An avid Philadelphia sports fan he especially enjoyed the Flyers, Eagles and Phillies.

Son of the late George N. and June (Beardsley) Morgan.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife of 33 years, Margie Morgan; One Daughter: Katie June Morgan at home; His Mother-in-Law Kathleen Hartmann Morgan of Aston, PA; A Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law: Bob and Lorraine Hartmann of Runnemede, New Jersey; One Niece: Jeannine Callahan of Washington Twp., New Jersey; One Nephew: Rob Hartmann of Clementon, New Jersey.

SERVICE INFORMATION Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Monday at St Timothy's Lutheran Church, 535 Lamp Post Lane, Aston, PA 19014. Interment Mt Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA. Morphet, Jean Barbara

Jean Barbara Morphet (nee Sarnocinski), 76,

Adored companion of 52 years.

OF: Media, PA DIED: Wednesday, August 30, 2006

AT: Harlee Manor Nursing Home in Springfield, PA

BORN IN: Jean was born at Chester Hospital in 1930. She grew up in Chester, PA with her close knit family of six siblings and her parents, the late Stanley and Mary Sarnocinski (nee Zadylak). Jean graduated from Notre Dame High School and West Chester University, earning a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Science and Math. She was a teacher for five years. She taught math at Smedley Junior High in Chester and then at Nativity BVM in Media.

Mrs. Morphet will be dearly missed. She and her husband of 52 years were very close companions. She loved her four sons and her seven grandchildren tremendously and was actively involved in their lives. She enjoyed the arts and was very talented. She sculpted beautiful ceramic statues, she was a wonderful piano player, created amazing dresses and dolls for her grandchildren, and did theorem paintings.

Jean also enjoyed people and especially took delight in the commentary of her home videos. She also loved her cabin in the Pocono's and the cruises she often took with her husband, sister Anne, and brother in law John Aaron. She was a very enthusiastic and positive person to be around. Jean was an active member of the Church of St. Francis DeSales, Lenni, PA. She was also a member of the Del Chester Rose Society for many years.

We all love her and she will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Norman D. Morphet of Riddlewood, Sons, Norman Morphet, Jr. of Media, Paul Morphet of Marcus Hook, Tom Morphet of Haines, Alaska, John Morphet of Clifton Heights, sister Anne Aaron of Wilmington and seven grandchildren.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2006 from the Church of St. Francis DeSales, 35 New Road, Lenni, PA

She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Moyer who died in 1978.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by A Daughter: Joelin (William) Bayer of Punta Gorda, Florida; A Son: Joseph J. (Christine) Moyer of Putney, Vermont; Also survived by Four Grandchildren: Tracy Smith of Manhattan, New York, Joseph J. Moyer of New York New York, Sophia Moyer of New York New York and Samuel D. Moyer of Worcester, Massachusetts.
