OF: Wallingford, Nether Providence Twp, PA and formerly of Brookhaven, PA DIED: Sunday, December 14, 2008 AT; Sacred Heart Manor, Philadelphia, PA Born in Chester, PA had been a resident of Brookhaven, PA for 35 years before moving to Wallingford, PA in the early 1990's.

EMPLOYMENT: Sun Oil Company, Marcus Hook, PA as an Electrician retiring in 1973.

ORGANIZATIONS: A devoted husband, father and grandfather. An avid Philadelphia sports fan he was passionate about the Phillies and also loved the Flyers and Eagles. Mr. O'Hara served as the Treasurer of Central Little League Baseball, Chester, PA and also was the Co-Founder and Treasurer of the Biddy Basketball League, Chester, PA.

O'Hara, Eleanor R.

Eleanor R. O'Hara, 88 years, of Wildwood Crest, NJ died on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at her home in Wildwood Crest, NJ. Her husband, John P. O'Hara of Wilkes Barre, PA died March 17, 1982.

A native of Luzerne, PA born June 14, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rowett. She was a graduate of Luzerne High School and Wilkes Barre Business College. She was a member of the Luzerne Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Nancy L. Koch of Avalon, NJ and Jill C. Raker of Rio Grande, NJ; and three grandchildren, Lt. Jay Koch of Corpus Christi, TX, Carey E. Koch of New York, NY, and Tim W. Raker of Belmar, NJ.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2004 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Wilkes Barre, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurse Agency, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210 or the Luzerne Methodist Church, Bennett Street, Luzerne, PA 18709.

DIED: suddenly on Thursday, May 24, 2007

AT Paoli Memorial Hospital

Born: Chester, PA he had been a resident of Lionville for 37 years, before moving to Honey Brook, PA where he resided for the last 2 years.

EDUCATION: Graduate St James Catholic High School for Boys Class of 1950

Graduate PMC College now Widener University Class of 1959

VETERAN: US Air Force serving during the Korean War

EMPLOYMENT: Boeing in the Finance Department until his retirement in 1997 PRIOR EMPLOYMENT: Foreign Policy Research Institute as Business Manager for 11 years.

ORGANIZATIONS: Member Church of St. Peter West Brandywine and former member of the Church of St Philip and James

Other: A man devoted to his home and family. He enjoyed golf and was a member of Honey Brook Golf Club. He was an avid Notre Dame fan.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife Marie (nee Avil) O'Malley; One Son: John (Julie) O'Malley of Lemoyne, PA; Three Daughters: Christine (Paul) Beswick of Honey Brook, PA, Noreen (Chad) Cassner of Douglassville, PA and Colleen O'Malley of Exton, PA; Three Sisters: Marie A. White of Glen Mills, PA, Irene Dow of Wheeling, West Virginia and Shirley Benoit of New Port Richey, Florida; Also survived by Five Grandchildren: Jesse and Kyle O'Malley, Alyssa Beswick, Hannah and Taylor Rae Cassner.

ORGANIZATIONS: Mern Oakes was well-known in local Volleyball and softball. He continued to play until age 80. He received several patents in chemical and petroleum one of which was for the purification of the catalyst used in manufacturing urethane foam used in furniture and cars.

SURVIVORS: Husband of the late Lavina Kunkel Oakes who he married in 1939; He is survived by A Son: Richard Oakes of Elverson, PA; A Daughter: Pamela Oakes of Brookhaven, PA; Also survived by Three Grandchildren, Two Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; Brother of the late Franklin, Neveda, Edward, Griffith, Howard and Robert Oakes.

DIED: Thursday, February 28, 2008 AT Riddle Village, Middletown Twp., PA Born: Philadelphia, PA she had been a long time resident of Havertown, PA, before moving to Riddle Village fifteen years ago.

EMPLOYMENT: Earlier in her life she was employed by a Law Firm as a Legal Secretary.

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member of St Dorothy's Church, Havertown, PA

Other: Mrs. Odgers was a woman devoted to her home and family. She enjoyed cross stick and collecting photos of her family and especially loved gardening while in her home in Havertown.

Former President and life-time member of Hannah Penn Republican Women of Pennsylvania. A very active volunteer throughout the years she volunteered at St. Dorothy's Church and School in Drexel Hill, PA, the Riddle Thrift Shop and also served as a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader.

Wife of the late Charles J. Odgers, Jr. Esquire who died in 1970.

Daughter of the late Anthony Walter and Marie T. (nee Lehmann) Kauffmann.

Odgers, III and his wife Nancy Borton Odgers of Havertown, PA; Also survived by Seven Grandchildren: Paul (Jill) Sarat of West Point, NY, Charles (Stacey) Odgers of Berwyn, PA, Andrew (Rochelle) Sarat of Caledonia, NY, Scott Odgers of Hermose Beach, CA, David Sarat of Christiana, DE, Todd (Amy) Odgers of Havertown, PA and Tracey (Peter) Clark of Havertown, PA; Also survived by Sixteen Great-Grandchildren.
