Employment: Westinghouse Electric Corporation for 32 years until his retirement in 1982. PRIOR EMPLOYMENT: Baldwin Locomotive Works and Delaware Power & Light

VETERAN: US Navy during World War II in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Pacific Theatres from June 1942 through December, 1945, as an Machinist's Mate on the USS Pastores and USS Marsh.

Father of the late Robert J. Richards.

SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Stella (née Lipcius) Richards;

One Son: James R. (Betsey) Richards, of Prospect Park, PA; One Daughter: Jennifer L. Richards, of Baltimore, MD; One sister: Ruth Polinsky of Lester, PA; Three Grandchildren): Stephen, Janet and Brian.

Service Information: Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment private.

HAD BEEN A RESIDENT OF Middletown Twp. since 1958.

EMPLOYMENT: CIGNA-INA at the Philadelphia Headquarters as a System Analyst/Executive until his retirement in 1972. After his retirement he continued to work as a Consultant at CIGNA.

ORGANIZATIONS: An avid golfer who enjoyed playing at the Eagles Lodge in Whitemarsh Township, PA. He also enjoyed ballroom dancing. Member of Middletown Township Seniors and former member of Delco Seniors and Aston Seniors. And was also a former member of Post Canna.

Husband of the late Helen Rickards who died in 1997 and Husband of 38 years to the late Mary Jane Rickards who died in 1987. Predeceased by a son F. Warner Rickards, III who died in 2003.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife of 18 years, Dorothy M. Rickards; Two Daughters: Diane (Jim) Levell of Buckingham Twp., PA and Cheryl (John) O'Connell of East Goshen Twp., PA; Two Step-Daughters: Elaine Jones of Wilmington, Delaware and Dottie (Gary) Allen of Bear Delaware; Also survived by 4 Grandchildren and 3 Step-Grandchildren and 5 Great Step Grandchildren.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife of 65 years Dora S. (nee Cullis) Ricks; A Daughter: Joyce Kissinger of Swarthmore, PA. Also survived by Thirteen Grandchildren, Thirty-One Great-Grandchildren and Seven Great-Great Grandchildren. Father of the late Richard Ricks and Roberta Kane.
