(nee Hawkins) Roberts; A Son: David (Susan) Roberts, MD of St Cloud, Minnesota; A Daughter: Jane (Bart) Bastian of Glen Mills, PA; A Brother: George A. Roberts of Dallas, Texas; Also survived by Five Grandchildren: Megan, Alison and Joseph Roberts and Peter and Sara Bastian.

SERVICE INFORMATION: A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., May 11, 2007 at Granite Farms Estate Auditorium, 1343 W. Baltimore Pike, Media, PA. Interment private.

EMPLOYMENT: Nesbitt Company as a Draftswoman from 1942 to 1948 where she designed air conditioning units.

ORGANIZATIONS: Mrs. Roberts was a woman devoted to her family and home. She was passionate about studying history and was a volunteer with the Germantown Historical Society.

Wife of the late Benjamin N. Roberts who died in 1976. Mother of the late Benson Roberts.

SURVIVORS: Survived by One Son: Leonard (Joan) Roberts of Springfield, PA; Two Daughters: Patricia (Sidney) Gilford of Media, PA and Mary E. Roberts of Baltimore, Maryland; Also survived by Five Grandchildren and One Great-Grandchild.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m Thursday at The Church of St Francis De Sales, 35 New Road, Lenni, PA 19052 where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.

Mary (nee DiMaio) Rocci AGE: 90

OF: Brookhaven, PA

DIED peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Sterling Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center where she was loved and well cared for. BORN IN Chester, PA she had been a resident of Brookhaven and Aston, PA.

ORGANIZATIONS: Mary was a kind, generous woman who was devoted to her family and church affiliations. She enjoyed cooking, baking and was an accomplished seamstress.

Wife of the late Joseph Rocci who died in 1974.

Sister of the late Andrew, Paul, Daniel, Michael, Elizabeth and Esther DiMaio and Lily Marcin.

SURVIVORS: Survived by One Daughter: Naomi (Nicholas) Drass of Glen Mills, PA. One Sister: Rose Hyre of Ravenna, Ohio; Also survived by seven grandchildren Nicolette (John) Davis, Michael (Laurie), Dennis (Ginger) and Rocky (Jennifer) Drass and Melissa Robertson, Adam (Lisa) Yanonis and Patricia Stewart, twelve great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Monday at The Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA where friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Interment Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.

Paul T. Rodgers, 40

Devoted husband, father and son; Environmental Health and Safety Officer at Swarthmore College

Paul T. Rodgers, 40, of Middletown, died Jan. 19 in Swarthmore.

Born in Ridley Park, Mr. Rodgers was raised in Brookhaven and resided in Drexel Hill prior to moving to Middletown 6 years ago. A 1985 graduate of the former St. James High School in Chester, he received a BS in Industrial Arts from Millersville University and MS in Environmental Health and Safety from the Indiana University of Pa.

Mr. Rodgers was employed as the environmental health and safety officer at Swarthmore College and was an avid outdoorsman. He was dedicated to his family and took special pleasure in attending the sporting and social events of his children.

He was the son of the late Thomas H. Rodgers and the brother of the late Donald T. Rodgers and David A. Rodgers.

Survivors: Wife, Karen A. Donohue Rodgers of Middletown; children, Kathleen, Jennifer and Ashley at home; mother, Joan A. Parvis Rodgers of Brookhaven; brothers, Lawrence J. Rodgers of Aston, Timothy M. Rodgers of Brookhaven; sisters, Nancy M. Furmanak of Media and Joan M. Rodgers of Brookhaven; two nephews and two nieces.

Service: 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Chrysostom Church, 607 S. Providence Road, Wallingford.

Visitation: 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple.

Frances (nee Rash) Rodgers, 93 of Parkside, PA died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Prospect Park Health & Rehabilitation Residence Born in Chester, PA, she had been a long-time resident of Parkside, PA.

Mrs. Rodgers worked at Sun Ship as a Weaver.

A woman devoted to her family, she especially loved children.

Wife of the late Harry Rodgers.

Survived by a Granddaughter and her husband who cared for her Christine and Daniel Crawford of Glen Mills, PA; One Niece: Helen Conrad of King of Prussia; Two Nephews: Dennis Thomas of Washington and Ted Thomas of Florida; Also survived by Four Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Monday at The Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA where friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Interment Chester Rural Cemetery, Chester, PA.
