Angelo R. Montoro
Name: Angelo R. Montoro 81, of Easton passed away August 15, 2004 in Easton Hospital
Born: February 17, 1923 in Easton, PA a son of the late Ralph and Carmella Mazza Montoro
Personal: His wife the former Isabella Carr passed away December 24, 1998.He was a shipping and receiving clerk for the former Sonoco Products of Phillipsburg and later worked for the former ANPA of Forks Township as a janitor, Eckerd Pharmacy as a delivery person retiring in 1998. He served in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theatre.
Memberships: He was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton.
Angelo also was a member of the FLEAS Club where he was vice president from 1985-2002. He was a member of Liberty Hose, Citizen Hose, Franklin Hose, Concordia Maennerchor, Club Mohican, and Rice Ebner Post American Legion all in Easton. He was active in Industrial League Softball, Basketball and also Community League Quoits in the Easton Area.
Survivors: three daughters, Isabella P. Walsh , Angela L. Gubich , Anita L. Trinchere all of Easton; four brothers Giuseppe of Florida, Salvatore of Nazareth, Vincenzo of Easton and Dante of Easton; six grandchildren Heather Giamoni, Michael and Jeffrey Gubich, Robert and Gregory Walsh, and Jason Trinchere and two step great grandsons. He was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers, Catarina Arcuri, Carmella Minotti, Anthony, Ralph, Rocco, Francisco, and Paul.
Services: 2:00pm Friday in the Morello Funeral Home 3720 Nicholas Street in Palmer . Call Thursday 6:00to 8:00pm in the funeral home.
Interment : Saint Anthony's Cemetery in Williams Township

Antonino Patti
Name: Antonino Patti, 74, of Easton, passed away Sunday October 24, 2004 in Old Orchard Manor Care, Bethlehem Twp.
Born: September 13, 1930, in Castel diLucio, Italy, he was the son of the late Placido and Maria Pedano Patti.
Personal: Antonino was employed as a landscaper for Palmer Nursery in Palmer, PA retiring in 1992. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucia Salerno, on December 11, 2002. Antonino served in the Italian Army during peacetime.
Memberships: He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and Lehigh Streets, Easton. He also was a member of the Circolo San Placido Society.
Survivors: He is survived by a daughter, Maria Patti of Bethlehem, Twp.; a son Placido Patti of Easton; seven grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Joshua, Phillip, Anthony, Nicholas and Alyssa and a brother Joseph Patti of Easton.
Services: Friday, 9:15 a.m. in the Morello Funeral Home, 3720 Nicholas St., Palmer, PA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Call Thursday 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp.

Thomas R. Liberta, M.D.
Thomas R. Liberta, M.D., 70 of Easton, PA died November 18, 2004 at home.
Born: October 23, 1934 in Easton, PA he was the son of Josephine Faldetta Liberta of Easton, and the late Thomas Liberta.
Personal: Dr. Liberta and his wife the former Lenore Hollywood celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on June 16, 2004. He was in private practice as a physician specializing in internal medicine from 1964 until retiring in 1993. In addition to his 30 years of practice at Easton and Warren Hospitals he also served as attending physician at the Easton Home for Aged Women.
A graduate from Wilson high school class of 1952 he went on to receive a BA in biology from Lafayette college in 1956, he attended Temple University School of Medicine on a four year Senatorial Scholarship and while at the school of medicine received the C.V. Mosby award for the highest scholastic average in medicine in his class graduating in 1960. Dr. Liberta served his internship at Northeastern General Hospital in Philadelphia and his residency training in internal medicine at Easton Hospital., the Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University medical center.
He was a member of the teaching staff at Easton Hospital in affiliation with Hahneman University School of Medicine in Philadelphia
He served as a Captain in the Medical Corps of the US Army from 1961 to 1963.
Memberships: He was a member of Saint Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church of Palmer Township and the American Medical Association.
Survivors: In addition to his wife he is survived by his mother the former Josephine Faldetta; a son Thomas E. Liberta and his wife Marcia of Doylestown, PA, four daughters Corinne Giannone and her husband Anthony of Nazareth, Leean Ruppert and her husband Richard of Wind Gap, Alicia Spirk and her husband Robert of Nazareth, Nicole Polanki and her husband David of Coplay. 17 grandchildren; Mackenzie, Cassandra, Thomas and Dominick Liberta; Billy, Nicholas and Victoria Giannone; Lauren, Richard, Zakary and Logan Ruppert; Meghan, Allison, Lindsey and Robert Spirk; Holly and David Polanki. And one brother Ronald Liberta of Washington, NJ
Services: Tuesday 9:30 am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street, Palmer PA. Followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church 4049 Hartley Ave., Palmer, PA. Call Monday 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery in Palmer Township.
Memorials: In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your local American Cancer Society Chapter in memory of Dr. Liberta.

Harry M. Morris
Harry M. Morris, 83 of Palmer Township passed away Thursday February 10, 2005 in his home surrounded by his family and beloved dog Casey.
Born: October 6, 1921 in Port Colden, NJ he was the son of the late John C. and Mildred M. Terhune Morris.
Personal: Harry and his wife, the former Albina Mazza, celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on June 8th 2004. Harry served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII European Theatre. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor for the Washington Borough School District retiring in 1983.
Memberships: He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church of Palmer Township. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 9 Brown & Lynch in Palmer and both the National and Lehigh Valley Chapters of the Antique Automobile Club of America.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Harry E. Morris and wife Julia of Williams Twp.; two daughters, Elizabeth Hutchison of Easton and Beverly Secula and husband Robert of Bethlehem Twp.; seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Stephen, Jessica, Stephanie, Melanie, Rebecca and Charles and one great grandchild, Timothy. Three sisters, Mildred Staats, Dorothy Saunders, Aimee Taylor and two brothers, Charles and Albert preceded Harry in death.
Services: Monday, 9:30am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church 4049 Hartley Ave, Palmer Township 18045. Call Sunday 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Washington, NJ.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1227 Liberty St., Suite 104, Allentown, PA 18102 in memory of Harry.

Nancy S. Huxel
Nancy S. Huxel of Easton, passed away Saturday February 26, 2005 in Easton Hospital.
Born: In Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Edward B. and Dorothy Kelchner Shimer.
Personal: Nancy and her husband, Ricky Huxel celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary on April 11th 2004. Nancy was employed as a receptionist at the Christmas Club Corporation in Forks Township until 1995. She was a graduate of Cooperstown Academy of New York.
Survivors: in addition to her husband, she is survived by many nieces and nephews and a grandson, Scott Adams. A son, E. Scott Adams, a sister, Sally Sutton and a granddaughter, Jenny Adams preceded Nancy in death.
Services: Friday 11:00am in the First Presbyterian Church, 66 Church St. Bloomsbury NJ. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery. Call Wednesday, 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer, PA

Lucy H. Todaro
Lucy H. Todaro 93, of Easton died Friday April 9, 2004 in Easton Hospital
Born: February 21, 1911 in Easton, PA a daughter to the late Thomas and Rosa Palmisano Zammataro.
Personal: She was married to Liborio Todaro for 34 years.
Memberships: She was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton, The Sacred Heart Sodality, and the HEAD Golden Age.
She was a graduate of Easton High School Class of 1928.
Survivors: Two sons John J. Todaro of Palmer Twp. and Joseph Todaro Sr. of Bethlehem Twp; A daughter Theresa Fretz of Palmer Twp; 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren; A brother George Zammatore of Phillipsburg, New Jersey. A son Thomas Todaro and Three sisters Nettie Gerbino, Pearl Butler and Bessie Zammataro all died earlier.
Services: 9:30am Tuesday in the Morello Funeral Home 3720 Nicholas Street in Palmer followed by a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Call Tuesday 1 hour prior to services in the funeral Home
Interment: Gethsemane Cemetery Palmer Twp.

Antonio Calantoni
Antonio Calantoni 59, of Palmer Township passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2004 in Easton Hospital.
Born: November 9, 1944 in Castel di Lucio, Italy, a son of the late Michele Calantoni and the recently deceased Maria Salamone Calantoni who passed away on May 30, 2004 in Italy.
Personal: Tony and his wife the former Graziella Billone celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on May 27,2004.
He was the proprietor of Antonio's Deli and Pizzeria for 21 years at the 25th Street Shopping Center in Palmer Township.
Memberships: He was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and the Circolo San Placido Society of Easton.
Survivors: his wife Graziella; a son Michael A. of Bangor; two daughters, Maria Trilli of Bangor and Grace L. at home; two granddaughters, Kristina and Jenna Trilli; two sisters, Josephine Wagner of Jacksonville, Florida and Antonina Calantoni di Amato of Terranova, Italy; three brothers, Soccorso of Forks Township, Giorgio of Florence, Italy and Joseph of Lower Nazareth.
A brother Placido died in 1999.
Services: Friday 9:15am in the Morello Funeral Home 3720 Nicholas Street in Palmer followed by a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 9th & Lehigh Streets in Easton.
Calling hours, Thursday evening 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the funeral home.
Interment: Gethsemane Cemetery in Palmer

Connie Jo (Honey) Lutack
Connie Jo (Honey) Lutack 72, of Easton passed away August 27, 2004 in Easton Hospital.
Born: August 19, 1932 in Palmer Township, PA, a daughter of the late John and Philomina 'Faye' (Agro) Vitale.
Personal : Her husband Richard Eugene Lutack passed away on May 29, 1988.
She was the Assistant to the Art Director at Lafayette College. Previously she had been a Fashion Designer for Shepardess Dress in New York City, and an Art Designer for Hallmark Greeting Cards.
Connie was a graduate of Easton High School Class of 1950. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts in 1954 and graduated from Trapphagean School of Fashion Design in 1956
Memberships: She was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton .
A member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Holy Cross Society.
Survivors: A son Richard Eugene Lutack II of Easton; two daughters Faye Marie Korybski of Manhattan, NY and Lecia Jean McCarty of Valrico, Florida; two grandsons Max Andrew McCarty and Jeremy Orion Lutack.
Two sisters Marie Ciofalo of Bethlehem and Jeanne Rossi of Palm Coast, Florida; two brothers James Vitale of Palm Coast, Florida, and Thomas Vitale of Vero Beach, Florida
Services: Wednesday 9:15 am in the Morello Funeral Home 3720 Nicholas Street in Palmer followed by a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 9th & Lehigh Streets in Easton. Call Tuesday evening 6:00 to 8:00pm in the funeral home.

Josephine E. LaBarba
Josephine E. LaBarba, of Palmer, PA passed away Friday October 8, 2004 in Easton Hospital.
Born: September 14, 1914 in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of late Santo and Epifania Andreano Salamone.
Personal: She is preceded in death by her husband Dominick N. LaBarba who passed away in 1956. She was employed as a seamstress for the former Seamproof Company of Easton before retiring many years ago.
Memberships: She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets in Easton.
She also was a member of St. Anthony's Golden Age Club.
Survivors: She is survived by a son James LaBarba of Bethlehem, Twp. a daughter Carmella LaBarba of Palmer Twp., Five Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren, a sister Theresa Amato of Palmer Twp.; Two brothers, Anthony Salamone of Easton and Santo Salamone of Valley Village, CA.
Three sisters, Mary Mazza, Rose Piazza, Lucy Salamone and two brothers, Michael and Placido Salamone predeceased her.
Services: Tuesday 9:15 a.m. in the Morello Funeral Home 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church 9th & Lehigh St. in Easton. Call Monday 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment , St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp.
