Rose Pulli
Rose Pulli, 93, of Easton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, November 22, 2004 in Manor Care, Palmer, Twp.
Born: May 11, 1911 in Piana Degli Albanesi Palermo Italy she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Domenica Cuccia Ficarotta.
Personal: Rose was preceded in death by her husband Victor 'Wes' Pulli in 1989. Rose was employed as a seamstress for the former Seamprufe and Delightform companies and lastly retired from A&H sportswear in 1976.
Memberships: She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton where she was a member of Golden Age. She was also a member of the Castel diLucio Society in Easton.
Survivors: Two sons, Frank Pulli and his wife Kim of Palm Harbor, FL and Michael Pulli and his wife Carol of Palmer Twp.; Two sisters, Josephine Moschini of Boca Raton, FL and Laura Willis of Easton; 7 grandchildren, Vickie Corriere, Michelle Geronimo, Frank Pulli, Michael V. Pulli, Candice Pulli, Michael C. Pulli, and Domenique Pulli. A sister, Mary Ficarotta predeceased Rose.
Services: Friends and relatives are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, 10:00am in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 140 E. Nesquehoning St. Easton. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the Morello Funeral Home Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer, PA.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1227 Liberty St., Suite 104, Allentown, PA 18102.

Gilbert "Toot" Roscioli
Gilbert 'Toot' Paul Roscioli Jr. 55, of Palmer Township, Passed away February 10, 2005 in Easton Hospital.
Born: July 17, 1949 in Easton, PA he was the son of Ann Shields Roscioli of Palmer Twp. and the late Gilbert P. Roscioli, Sr.
Personal: He and his wife the former Rosaria 'Sadie' DiFrancesca celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary September 27, 2004. He was employed as a forklift mechanic for Walgreen's Distribution Center of Bethlehem. He graduated from Easton Area High School class of 1967. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War.
Memberships: He was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 9th and Lehigh Streets Easton, PA., a lifetime member of the FLEAS Club, Liberty Hose, The Club Mochican all of Easton and The Safety First Volunteer Fire Co. of West Easton.
Survivors: In addition to his wife and mother, he survived by daughters Stefanie and Monica at home; a sister Patty Harrison of Palmer Township; a nephew Fred Harrison and many other nieces and nephews.
Services: 9:30am Tuesday in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc 3720 Nicholas Street Palmer, followed by a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Call Monday evening 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the funeral home, burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine Palmer Township.
Memorials: May be made to the family and mailed to Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street Easton, PA 18045-5116.

Yvette Mikhail Jabbour
Yvette Mikhail Jabbour 76, of Easton passed away Monday, March 15, 2004 in Easton Hospital.
Born: August 27, 1927 in Kfarsghab, Lebanon, a daughter of the late Farhat and Rita Khaled Farhat
Personal: her husband Anthony Mikhail Jabbour died in 1985
Memberships: She was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church in Easton.
Survivors: three sons George of Forks Township, Michael of Easton, Anthony of Easton; a sister Rita Stanton of Sydney, Australia; five grandchildren, Antonios Jabbour, Jabbour Jabbour, Michael Jabbour, Antonia Jabbour, and Yvette Jabbour.
A son Jabbour A. Jabbour died in 1995.
She is also preceded in death by her sister Gharra Goleb and four brothers Fersan Farhart, Jabbour Farhart, Joseph Farhat and Mansour Farhat.
Services: Thursday 9:15am in the Morello Funeral Home 3720 Nicholas Street in Palmer Township followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10:00am in Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church 4th & Ferry Streets in Easton.
Call Wednesday evening 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the funeral home with Prayer of the Incense at 8:00pm
Interment: will be in Gethsemane Cemetery in Palmer Township.
Memorials: May be made to the Lehigh Valley Kidney Foundation PO Box 401, Emmaus, PA 18049

Dorothy E. Cardell
Name: Dorothy E. Cardell 80, of Palmer Township passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at home
Born: September 18, 1923 in Friedens, PA a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Daisey Lentz Schneck
Personal: Dorothy and her husband Louis celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on October 22, 2003.
She was a graduate of Slatington High School Class of 1940
Memberships: She was a member of Saint Paul's III Lutheran Church in Palmer Township.
Survivors: her husband Louis; two sons Thomas J. and David J. both of Palmer Township; a granddaughter Katie Cardell ; a sister Betty Jones of Slatington, PA ; and a brother John Schneck of Slatington, PA
A sister and two brothers preceded her in death, Evelyn Walsh, Fred Schneck and Howard Schneck.
Services: Services and Entombment will be private.
Memorials: In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Dorothy to your local Salvation Army chapter.

Donna J. Spadoni
Donna J. Spadoni 68, of Easton, passed away August 30, 2004 in Easton Hospital
Born: July 3, 1936 in Ogdensburg,New York, a daughter of Wallace Bealer of Wilson Boro and the late Mildred Jeru Bealer
Personal: Her husband John J. Spadoni passed away in 1989.

Donna was a Nurses Aid at Eastwood Convalescent Center in Wilson Boro

until 1989.
She was a graduate of Easton High School Class of 1955.
Memberships: She was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton
Survivors: Two sons, John A. Spadoni and James A. Spadoni both of Easton; three daughters, Jean A. Spadoni of Easton, Joan A. Kasebier of North Bangor, Janet A. Monaco of
Easton; a niece Charlene Ramie of Easton ; twelve grandchildren; a sister Nancy Edwards of Ogdensburg, New York.
A sister Beverly Ramie preceded her in death.
Services: Thursday 11:00am in the Morello Funeral Home 3720 Nicholas Street in Palmer . Call one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
Interment : Saint Anthony's Cemetery in Williams Township.

William M. Duane
William M. Duane, 85, of Easton passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2004 in Easton Hospital.
Born: September 18, 1919 in Bronx, New York, he was the son of late Michael J. and Hannah Barry Duane.
Personal: William and his wife Elizabeth celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on February 23rd. He was employed as a brakeman at the former PB&NE Railroad retiring in 1979. He was a PFC in the army during WWII were he was awarded four bronze service stars for battle service in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe.
Memberships: He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Twp. William was also a member of the American Legion Lester Pfefer Post #611 in Wilson Boro; Lifetime charter member WWII memorial society; Lehigh Valley Railroad Veterans Associations; United Transportation Union and AARP.
Survivors: His wife, the former Elizabeth Varner of Easton; two sons, Barry W. Duane of Easton, William R. Duane and wife Jane of Bethlehem Twp.; a sister Margaret Haas of Huntington, NY; four grandchildren, Tara, Melanie, Bill and Brian and three great grandchildren.
Services: 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Morello Funeral Home, 3720 Nicholas St., Palmer, PA followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave, Palmer Twp. Call Monday 8:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
Memorials: May be made to the church.

Sadie M. Corriere Bartha
Sadie Margaret Corriere Bartha, 81 of Nazareth formerly of Bath passed away Sunday November 28, 2004, in Gracedale.
Born: June 1, 1923 in Easton, PA she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Giovanna Fouti Corriere
Personal: She worked as a seamstress in the local garment industry retiring in 1986. She was a graduate of the 1940 class of Easton High School. She is preceded in death by her 2nd husband Francis Bartha who passed away in 1988.
Memberships: She was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 9th and Lehigh Sts Easton, and The International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by two sons Joseph P. Ronco Jr., Richard Ronco both of Moorestown; a daughter Phyllis Perazzetti and her husband Brad of Wilson Boro, four Grandchildren Megan, Gena, Matthew and Angela; also her ex-husband Joseph Ronco Sr. of Marshalls Creek PA. She is preceded in death by four brothers; Leroy, Samuel, George and John Corriere.
Services: Thursday 9:15 am in the Morello Funeral Home Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street Palmer PA. Followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Call Wednesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Funeral Home. Burial in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp.

Mildred Dech Laubach
Mildred Dech Laubach, 86 of Bethlehem Twp. passed away Thursday, January 27, 2005 in The Lebanon Valley Home, Annville, PA
Born: February 5, 1918 in Northampton, PA she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Jennie Koch Dech.
Personal: Mildred was a graduate of Northampton High School Class of 1935 and Hoff's Hospital Nursing School in Northampton in 1937. She was employed as a private duty nurse for several years before marrying Dr. George B. Laubach who predeceased her on December 12, 1997 after 54 years of marriage. Mildred worked in his office for several years before raising their children. She also was an avid bridge player.
Memberships: She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Northampton, PA. She also was a member of the Northampton Country Club, Northampton County Medical Society Alliance, William Parsons Chapter No. 185 Order of Easton Star.
Survivors: a son, George D. Laubach and his wife Claudia of Palmyra, PA; a daughter Sylvia Brill and husband Robert of Norcross, GA; a brother Paul Dech of Northampton, PA; six grandchildren, Melissa Fletcher, Amanda Shipley, Matthew Brill, Jennifer Costello, Rebecca Ternus and Claudia Yepez and four great grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan and Zachary Fletcher and Madison Costello. A sister, Evelyn Sutliff and two brothers, Rev. Elmer Dech and Kenneth Dech preceded Mildred in death.
Services: 11:00am Monday in St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 8142 Valley View Rd., Northampton, PA. Call, Sunday 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer PA and also Monday 10am until 11am in the church. Burial will be in the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer,PA.
Memorials: Memorial Donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Mildred.

James V. Garofalo, Jr.
James V. Garofalo Jr. 86, formerly of Easton, passed away on March 17, 2004 in HCR ManorCare Palmer
Born: December 18, 1917 in Easton, PA a son of the late James V. Sr. and Rose Laurino Garofalo
Personal:He is survived by his wife the former Agnes Willis .
He was a molder for Ingersoll Rand Co. of Phillipsburg retiring in 1983.
James served in the United Steates Army during World War II in the pacific theatre. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for heroic or meritorios achievement at Tacloban Airstrip, Leyte, Phillipine Islands on November 28, 1944.
Memberships: He was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton.
Survivors: A sister Mary Lipare of Altadena , California and two brothers Raymond of Palmer Township, and Placido of Bethlehem and nieces and nephews.
A stepson James Rapsis and his wife Carol of Washington, New Jersey and a stepdaughter Joan Fiore of Washington, New Jersey and stepgrandchildren.
A sister Anna Passafiume and a brother Samuel both preceded her in Death.
Services: Saturday 10:15 am in the Morello Funeral Home 3720 Nicholas Street in Palmer followed by an 11:00am Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 9th & Lehigh Streets in Easton. Call Saturday 8:45am until time of service in the funeral home.
Interment: Saint Anthony's Cemetery in Williams Township.
