Viva Blase
October 24, 1914 - October 9, 2016
Viva Blase, of Wilson Borough, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016, two weeks shy of her 102 birthday.
Viva was born on October 24, 1914 in Phillipsburg, NJ, a daughter of the late Daniel and Ida May (Lott) Eckhardt.
Viva was married to August Blase for 73 years before his passing in 2008. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. Her life was devoted to her family and spending time with them.
Viva is survived by a daughter June Bachman and husband William of Palmer Twp., and their daughter Kristin Urmston and husband Brad, and their children Christopher, Benjamin and Leah; a son Augie Blase and wife Jill of Forida, and his children Kelly, Karen, and Karla; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers Cornell, Clifton, and Daniel Eckhardt.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in the church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).

Francis William Lohman
April 26, 1966 - October 6, 2016
Francis William Lohman, 50 of Forks Twp., PA passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ.
Born: He was born on April 26, 1966 in Somerville, NJ a son of Richard and Nancy (Colangelo) Lohman of Unadilla, NY.
Personal: Francis was the proprietor and mason at Lohman Solid Flue Inc., a franchise of Chimney Savers, and later he was employed by Johanna Foods. He served in the US Marines. Francis was a graduate of Somerset County Vocational and Technical School. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, photography, rock collecting, bird watching and hiking. Francis especially loved watching his children play sports throughout their lives.
Memberships: He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. He also was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus Council 345. Survivors: Francis is survived by his wife, Deanne (DeBellis) Lohman; sons Christopher Thurgood of Hellertown, Zachary Lohman who resides at home; daughter Hope Lohman who resides at home and a sister Willo Crawley of York, PA. He loved his extended family pets; Angel, Jake, Midnight, Sabina, Abbey and Bear.
Services: A calling hour will be held on Monday morning from 9:30am until 10:30am in the St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30am in the church. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp.

Joann Gallo
July 7, 1945 - December 11, 2014
Joann Gallo, 69, of Nazareth, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born: Joann was born on July 7, 1945 in Chester, PA, a daughter of the late Philemon and Frances (Schmidt) Murray
Personal: Joann was married to John Gallo for 52 years. She worked for Binney & Smith in Easton, before retiring. She loved spending time with her family and vacations at the beach.
Survivors: In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Joann Herb and husband Joseph of Nazareth, PA, Jacqueline Trittenbach and husband Dean; grandchildren Ryan Trittenbach, Trevor Trittenbach, Stephanie Brown, Cassie Buscemi; great-grandchildren Jeffrey Buscemi, Austin Messinger, and Madeline Brown. She is preceded in death by her sisters Theresa, Agnes, Dolores; and a brother Robert.
Services: A calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service at St. Lukes Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hellertown, PA. Interment will be in St. Lukes Cemetery, Hellertown, PA.
Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joanns memory may be made to St. Lukes Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20 Church Road, Hellertown, PA, 18055.

Joseph Simonetta
January 2, 1921 - October 10, 2016
Joseph Simonetta, 95, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 in The Gardens at Easton Nursing Home.
Joseph was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Angelo and Anna Marie (Alercia) Simonetta.
Joseph was a Bartender for the former Sportsman’s Café in Easton. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was an avid quoit player.
Joseph is survived by companion Martha Mooney of Easton; daughters Marie Simonetta of Easton, Nina Wagner of Easton; grandchildren Kevin Wagner, Holly Wagner, Heather Ondush; great-grandchildren Alexander, Addison and Benjamin; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers Placido, Philip and Anthony Simonetta; and a nephew Anthony Simonetta.
A Calling hour will be held on Thursday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Williams Twp.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joseph’s memory may be made to Gardens at Easton Resident’s Activities, 498 Washington Street, Easton, PA 18042.

Filippo Armao
February 27, 1941 - October 1, 2016
Filippo Armao, 75 of Bethlehem Twp. passed away Saturday October 1, 2016 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.
Born: He was born on February 27, 1941 in Santo Stefano di Camastra, Italy a son of the late Michele and Maria Cincotta Armao.
Personal: Filippo was preceded in death by his first wife Gemma (Todaro) Armao in 2001. He was employed as a laborer for Victaulic for over 30 years retiring in 2006.
Memberships: Filippo was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Easton. He also was a member of the Holy Cross Society.
Survivors: Filippo is survived by his wife Rubicelia Acosta; sons Michael Armao and wife Sharon of Bethlehem Twp., Anthony Armao and longtime girlfriend Danielle Bevilacqua of Bethlehem Twp.; sisters Sebastiana Loiacono of Nazareth, Elvira Attinello of Ottawa, Canada and grandchildren Mikaela and Jacqueline Armao. In addition to his first wife, a brother Epifanio Armao preceded Filippo in death.
Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and on Thursday morning from 8:15am until 9:15am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00am in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 132 South 5th Street in Easton. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.

Mary E. Pleiss
August 1, 1926 - October 21, 2016
Mary E. Pleiss, 90, of Easton, PA, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 in ManorCare, Easton.
Mary was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Mamie (Frinzi) Piro.
Mary was married to Evan Pleiss before his passing in 2013. She was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1944. Mary was a Secretary and Treasurer for the local banking industry, and lastly she worked for Lafayette College, before retiring. She sang and danced with I Pae sani for over 30 years.
Mary is survived by a son Gary Pleiss of St. Petersburg, FL; daughters Virginia Young and husband Michael of Lititz, PA, Beverly Cook and husband Michael of Blairstown, NJ; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers Charles and Tony Piro.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018, American Stroke Association, 6405 Metcalf Avenue, Suite 214, Overland Park, KS 66202, or to a charity of your choice.

Joanne Telymonde
November 27, 1947 - October 12, 2016
Joanne Telymonde, 68, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in St. Luke’s Hospital.
Joanne was born in Elizabeth, NJ, a daughter of the late Natale and Dorothy Calderaro.
Joanne was married to James V. Telymonde. She was a Sales Manager at Motherhood Maternity in Phillipsburg, NJ before retiring. She was a loving wife, devoted to her husband, children and granddaughter. Joanne and her husband enjoyed many years of vacationing, especially the Caribbean. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter going to the movies and listening to her play guitar.
In addition to her husband, Joanne is survived by a son Vincent J. Telymonde and wife Beth of Ridgefield Park, NJ; daughters Lisa M. Telymonde of Forks Twp., Dina Cunha and husband Nelson of Forks Twp.; granddaughter Liliana; and a sister Diane Fanelli.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am in the church. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joanne’s memory may be made to St. Luke’s VNA Hospice, 2455 Black River Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015.

James S. Crisafulli
November 30, 1934 - December 12, 2014
James S. Crisafulli, 80, of Parsippany, NJ, passed away on December 12, 2014.
Born: James was born in Easton, a son of the late Joseph and Elsie (Siebler) Crisafulli.
Personal: After graduating from Easton Catholic High School in 1953, James served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. James worked for Channel Lumber until his retirement.
Memberships: James was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church before moving to New Jersey. He was also a member of the VFW.
Survivors: James is survived by brothers John Crisafulli of Palmer Township, Jacob Crisafulli of Eagle River, Alaska, by a sister, Jane Locke, and sister-in-law Debbie Crisafulli of West Chester; stepchildren Barbara Voorhees, Michael Dzurny, and Deborah Abrams, all of New Jersey. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many good friends and neighbors. James will also be missed by his beloved cat, Baby. In addition to his parents, James is predeceased by his brother Joseph Crisafulli, Jr., and his former wife and best friend Irene Crisafulli.
Services: A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp) 18045, with a prayer service at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial Contributions: Contributions in James memory may be made to the St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church Building Fund at 4049 Hartley Ave., Easton, PA 18045.

Mary J. Rebmann
March 18, 1927 - December 20, 2014
Mary J. Rebmann, 87, of Easton, PA passed away on December 20, 2014 in Slate belt Nursing and Rehab. Center in Bangor, PA.
Born: Mary was born in Easton, PA a daughter of Leonard and Marie (Muretta) Cascioli.
Personal: Mary was married to the late Paul R. Rebmann Jr. who passed in 2009. She attend High School at St. Jane Frances de Chantal in Wilson Boro. Mary retired in 1972 from Binney and Smith as a crayon labeler. She enjoyed spending her time with her loving family.
Memberships: Mary was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Survivors: Mary is survived by a daughter: Kathy Lane and her husband Ernest, of Pen Argyl; a son: Robert P. Rebmann Sr. and his fiancée Rochelle, of Bethlehem; brothers: Louis Cascioli of Bethlehem and Richard Cascioli and his wife Sarah, of Easton; 7 grandchildren: Sherri, Marci, Bobby, Christina, Ryan, Justin, and Nathan; 11 great grandchildren: Makayla, Alexis, Tegan, Kade, Kailyn, Parker, Gaige, Marky, Cameron, Marayna, and Teanna; and 2 special family friends Jamie and Craig Dorsey.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband and two children: Paul Robert Rebmann Jr. and Barbara Woodring.
Services: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 9:00a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer twp.) Followed by a Funeral Service: at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Northampton Memorial Shrine, in Easton.

William W. Woodring
October 1, 1928 - December 5, 2014
William W. Woodring, Jr, 86, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 in Moravian Village.
Born: William was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Lillian (Sharp) and William W. Woodring, Sr.
Personal: William was married to the former Eleanore M. Grainda, with whom he celebrated 42 years of marriage last August 8. He was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1948. William was a self-employed Graphic Artist at W Graphics in Easton. He enjoyed collecting antiques, oil painting, flying airplanes, going to New York City and enjoying the hotels, shows, and dinners, and going to the Delaware River Canoe Club in Easton.
Memberships: William was a member of the Pomfret Club, and the Board at State Theater of Easton, he was a member of the National Graphic Artists Society and the Canoe Club of Easton. He was also a member of the Varsity E Club. Mr. Woodring was instrumental in all photography of Easton High School Sports and Cheerleaders.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, William is survived by his sons Thomas Woodring of Easton, Ronald Woodring and wife Geri of Reading, PA, Gary Woodring of Seattle Washington; grandchildren Gina, Jason, Angela, Kristen, Kurtis, Kevin and Nathan; great-grandchildren Madeline, Brady, Olivia, Chase, Evan and Maxeen.
Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service at 8:00 pm in the funeral home.
