EUGENE CONROY

Eugene T. Conroy, 80, of West Mifflin died Saturday in Jefferson Hospital. He was retired from Mesta Machine Co., West Homestead.

Born in Homestead, Aug. 19, 1919, he was the son of the late William J. and Sarah E. Matthews Conroy. He is survived by cousins.

Friends will be received in Strifflers' Dravosburg/West Mifflin today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by graveside services at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery, Homestead.

JOSEPHINE HARVEY

Josephine A. Chrzasteck Harvey, 79, of North Huntingdon Twp. died yesterday in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Circleville United Methodist Church in North Huntingdon Twp.

Born March 18, 1921, in Wilmerding, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Chrzasteck. She is survived by her husband, George Harvey; sons, Paul A. and Ray F. Harvey of North Huntingdon Twp., James B. Harvey of Penn Twp., John C. Harvey of Manor, Mark D. Harvey of Herminie and Earl E. Harvey of Irwin; and nine grandchildren.

Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the William Snyder Funeral Home, Irwin. Service will be conducted there Wednesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Franklin D. Bishop. Interment will follow in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon Twp.

MARGUERITE OLYARNIK

Marguerite A. Olyarnik of McKeesport died yesterday in UPMC McKeesport. Retired from the registrar?s office at McKeesport Campus of Pennsylvania State University, she was a former secretary at Westinghouse Electric Corp., member of Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church and its recording secretary and a graduate of Margaret Morrison School in Pittsburgh, now Carnegie Mellon University.

Born in Duquesne, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Amelia Balbach Keene and the wife of the late Cyril M. Olyarnik. She is survived by sons, Kurt M. Olyarnik of White Oak and Mark J. Olyarnik at home; daughters, Caroline A. Wirth of Manassas, Va., and Suzanne V. Olyarnik of Silver Spring, Md.; four grandchildren; sister, Marion Reibel in Florida; nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Jennifer S. Jordan Funeral Home, Inc., White Oak, tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church by the Rev. David L. Weeks. Interment will be in Monongahela Cemetery, Braddock Hills. The family has suggested memorial contributions to Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church, Evans Avenue and Baldwin Street, McKeesport, PA, 15132.

GEORGE TROSS

George Alex Tross, 75, of 558 Miller Ave., Clairton, died Sunday in Jefferson Hospital. A retired carpenter with Local 337, International Labor Union of North America, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Born in Durgon, W.Va., Nov. 22, 1924, he was the son of the late Clarence and Sally Duffy Tross. He is survived by stepchildren, Hilda Adams of Clairton, Norma Musgrove and Jean Warren of Warfield, W.Va., Ralph Sterns of Alexandria, Va., and Robert Sterns of Dumfries, Va.; grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Redman of Moorefield, W.Va., and Emma Sue Dincent of Laurel Spring, N.J.; brother, Emmett Tross of Petersburg, W.Va.; nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Clairton, tomorrow from 10 a.m. until the hour of service there at 11 with Elder Alexander McLean officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

CHARLES KONKUS

Charles Konkus, 77, of North Huntingdon Twp. died yesterday in Jeannette. A retired construction worker with Pittsburgh Construction Local 373, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a 50-year member of the New Kensington Musical Society, Local 630 American Federation of Musicians.

Born Dec. 16, 1922, in Fort Palmer, he was a son of the late Frank and Mary Naugle Konkus. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Ritter Konkus; son, Charles T. Konkus of Manor; a grandson; brother, Frank Konkus of Pittsburgh; and sister, Agnes Sechoka of Plum.

Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Vincent V. Rodgers Funeral Home, Irwin. Service will be offered there Saturday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Shawn Lyons. Interment will be in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum.

GAYLE HAYNICK

A former Irwin resident, Gayle L. Haynick, 66, of Petrolia died yesterday at home. She was retired from Hills Department Store.

Born Feb. 5, 1944, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late William and Evelyn Lewis College. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Haynick; daughter, Lisa Marinello of Petrolia; sons, Bruce Haynick of Delmont and Richard Haynick of Weeki Wachee, Fla.; six grandchildren; brother, Raymond College of Port Vue; sister, Faye Honick of Whitaker; nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 9 p.m. in Strifflers? White Oak. Service will be conducted there Saturday at 11:30 a.m. by the Rev. Kathleen Barnhart.

BASCH SERVICES

Service will be offered Saturday at 10 a.m. in Pine Run United Methodist Church for Edward Paul Basch of Jefferson Hills who died Sunday. The Rev. Dr. Ronald A. Wanless and the Rev. Edward Hammett will co-officiate. Friends will be received in the S.M. Finney Funeral Home, Inc., Clairton, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. He was admitted to the Cum Laude Society on the recommendation of the Mount Lebanon High School Chapter.

WILLIAM COTTRELL

William A. Cottrell, 72, of Hempfield Twp. died yesterday in Jeannette. He was a foreman at American St. Gobian in Jeannette.

Born in Galeton, Oct. 9, 1927, he was the son of the late Frederick Sr. and Vesta Bush Cottrell. He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Celio Cottrell; sons, Curt Cottrell of Darragh and William Jr. and Richard Cottrell at home; daughter, Judy Quinn of Jeannette; five grandchildren; brothers, Fred Cottrell in New Jersey and Joseph and Robert Cottrell of Grapeville; and sisters, Ida Mae Simmers in Michigan and Valetta Brodsky and Vera Cottrell of Jeannette.

Private visitation and services will be held. The Rev. Joseph M. Kim will officiate and private interment will be in Brush Creek Cemetery, Hempfield Twp. Arrangements are in charge of the E.J. Rodgers Funeral Home, Manor.

SEIFERT SERVICES

Service will be conducted today at 8:30 p.m. in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., Wilmerding, for George E. Seifert of East McKeesport who died yesterday. Friends will be received in the funeral home today from 7 p.m. until the hour of service.

ISABELLE WITT

Isabelle Witt, 89, of Glassport died yesterday in Jefferson Hospital. She was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish in Glassport.

Born in McKeesport, Nov. 24, 1910, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Ann Schelling Babyak and the wife of the late Harry A. Witt. She is survived by sons, Harry W. Witt of Naples, Fla., and James A. Witt of Rostraver Twp.; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Edmund E. Wojciechowski Jr. Funeral Home, Glassport. A blessing will be offered there Saturday at 9 a.m. by the Rev. Casimir Kedzierski. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles Twp.

DOROTHY NULL

Dorothy S. Null, 72, of Dravosburg died today in Jefferson Hospital. A retired secretary from the Gary, Ind., plant of U.S. Steel Corp., she was a member of Dravosburg United Methodist Church and Claude Beltz Unit 380, American Legion Auxiliary, in Dravosburg.

Born in Braznell, Nov. 3, 1927, she was raised by an aunt, Ruby Totin of Brownsville. She is survived by her aunt; husband, Matthew J. Null; son, Nicholas Ferlus of Hobart, Ind.; stepchildren, Patricia A. McGuiness of Jacksonville, Fla., Jeanne M. Hoffman of Dravosburg and Dr. Harry M. Null of Ross Twp.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the I.M. Finney Funeral Home, Inc., Dravosburg, tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service there at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Bray officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.

ELIZABETH KOWALSKI

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 12 in Our Lady of Grace Church, El Cajon, Calif., for a former McKeesport resident, Elizabeth Kowalski, 90, of El Cajon who died April 8. Arrangements were in charge of El Cajon Mortuary in El Cajon.

Born Sept. 22, 1909, in McKeesport, she is survived by a son, Frank Kowalski of San Diego, Calif.; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family has suggested memorial contributions to the San Diego Hospice, 4311 Third Ave., San Diego, CA, 92103.

MARY LUSEBRINK

Mary L. Cucchi Lusebrink, 72, of North Huntingdon Twp. died yesterday in Hempfield Twp. She was a buyer at G.C. Murphy Co. and member of St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon Twp.

Born in Hahntown, May 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Govannia Fabrizio Cucchi. She is survived by her husband, Ernest R. Lusebrink; son, Keith Lusebrink of Houston, Tex.; a granddaughter; brother, Joseph Cucchi of Manor; and sisters, Donna Kovac of North Huntingdon Twp. and Nancy Popovich of Hahntown.

Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Vincent V. Rodgers Funeral Home, Irwin. A blessing will be offered there Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Irwin Union Cemetery.

WILLIAM NOWELL

William H. Nowell, 70, of West Mifflin died yesterday in Pittsburgh. A retired customer representative from Duquesne Light Co., he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and member of Homestead-Amity-McCandless Lodge 582, F. & A. Masons, and Anne Ashley United Methodist Church in Munhall.

Born in McKeesport, July 6, 1929, he was a son of the late William G. and Mabel Marie Haler Nowell. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Radovich Russell Nowell; children, Debbie Gallagher, Karen Barabas and Joyce Eagle of Munhall and Douglas Nowell in Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and sister, Blanche Mae Ashcroft of McKeesport.

Friends will be received in the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., Munhall, today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be offered Thursday at 11 a.m. in Anne Ashley United Methodist Church. The family has suggested memorial contributions to Anne Ashley United Methodist Church Building Fund, 22nd Ave., Munhall, PA, 15120.

ROSINA ELLISH

Rosina R. Ellish, 85, of Duquesne died yesterday in Kane Regional Center. A retired secretary for the Eaton Corp., she was a member of St. Joseph Church in Duquesne.

Born in Carrick, July 2, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Rose Kuby Zorn. She is survived by her husband, Nicholas S. Ellish; daughter, Roberta Hassman of Fountain, Colo.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister, Clara Balog of Duquesne; nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Inc., Duquesne. A blessing will be offered there Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Dennis Colamarino. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin.

BOCAN SERVICES

Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Helen Regina Bocan of Dravosburg who died Saturday. Her survivors include nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family has suggested memorial contributions to St. Martin de Porres Parish or Three Rivers Family Hospice. Arrangements were in charge of the Cremation Organization, Inc.

WILLIAM DAVIS JR.

William Davis Jr., 75, of 100 Ninth Ave., McKeesport, formerly of Duquesne, died yesterday in UPMC McKeesport. A retired supply clerk from Westinghouse Electric Corp., East Pittsburgh, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Born April 21, 1924, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late William Sr. and Creola Lee Davis and the husband of the late Fannie L. Dent Davis. He is survived by children, Edward Henderson of Pittsburgh, William Davis III, Earl Davis and Virginia Davis of Duquesne and Irene Sims of Bethel Park; 20 grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, McKeesport. Service will be conducted there Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Amelia E. Jones. Interment will follow in McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery.
