John Joseph McConnell, Jr.
Born in Bryn Mawr, Pa. on Oct. 1, 1915
Departed on Sep. 30, 2002 and resided in Yardley, PA.

John Joseph "Ike" McConnell, Jr. aged 86 Passed away in St. Mary's Hospital, Langhorne, Pa. He was a longtime resident of Ardmore, Pa. He grew up in Ardmore where he graduated from Lower Merion High School (Class of 1933). Following Graduation Ike had a brief major league baseball career with the Chicago White Sox. He served in the Navy during World War II. Ike worked in the Ardmore Post Office for 30 + years, where he retired in 1972. Following the Post office, he worked for John Wanamaker Dept. Store for 11 years as a Security Manager. Ike loved all sports, but had a passion for baseball and golf. He was a scratch golfer.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Franckel, His son Russell, His sister Dorothy Fennen, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many neices and nephews

Peter J. Tripiciano, Sr.
Born in Auburn, New York on Oct. 4, 1922
Departed on Oct. 1, 2002 and resided in Ardmore, PA.
Mr. Tripiciano was the husband of Lucy (Nee D'Achille) for 51 years. He is survived by his 2 children; Mary Catherine Cuomo and Peter J. Tripiciano, Jr. and his 3 grandchildren; Peter J.III, Nicholas, and James Tripiciano. He is also survived by one brother and one sister.
Mr. Tripiciano Was an Army Veteran during World War II. He was employed by PECO as a gas serviceman. He worked there for 35 years; retiring in 1984. Services and Interment is private to the family. Memorial donations may be made to Arthritis Foundation 219 N. Broad St. Phila., Pa. 19107 in Mr. Tripiciano's name.

Louis F. Richter
Born in Philadelphia, Pa. on May. 21, 1907
Departed on Sep. 25, 2002 and resided in West Chester, PA.

Mr. Richter is the husband of the late Loretta (Nee Trunek) Richter.They were married for 68 years. He had 4 children; John P., Roger, Patience L. DePaol, and Eric S. Richter. He was the brother of the late William Richter and Patience Meader. Mr. Richter is survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Mr. Richter was a graduate of Haverford Collegein Haverford, Pa., where he lettered in 3 sports and also the American Banking Institute in Rutgers, NJ.
Mr. Richter was the bank manager at the Provident Bank in Swarthmore for 40 years.He retired from there in 1972.
He was a member of the St. Denis Seniors Group. He also taught dancing at Haverford High Night School. Mr. Richter also was an Air-Raid Warden during World War II.

Ronald S. Seitter
Born in Philadelphia, Pa. on Sep. 28, 1944
Departed on Oct. 3, 2002 and resided in Havertown, PA.

Mr. Seitter is the son of Mary (Nee Urbanski) and the late Albert Robinson. He is the Brother of Robert P. (Carol) Seitter, and the late Albert W. Robinson. He is also survived by his 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
Mr. Seitter is a graduate of Father Judge High School and then he attended The Moore Institute of Art, both schools are located in Philadelphia.
He servrd in the Air Force as a Dental Technician during the Vietnam War era and was stationed at Hickham Field in Hawaii.
Ronald was self-employed for the past 20+ years as a Decorative Artist. His niterests also included reading. He read everything from fiction to history.
Mr. Seitter's family would like memorial donations to be made to the American Cancer Society 600 N. Jackson St. Media, Pa. 19063.

MICHAEL F. ZABEL
Born in Commack, New York on Nov. 21, 1957
Departed on Jun. 18, 2003 and resided in Ardmore, PA.

Michael F. Zabel, died Wednesday June 18 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is 45 and a resident of Ardmore, Pa.
Born November 21, 1957 in Commack, New York to Eileen (nee Maloney) and Warren Zabel.
Mike graduated from Commack High School in Commack, New York and received his B.S. in Food Marketing from St. Joseph's University, class of 1979, where he met his wife to be, Christine McGoldrick.
Professionally Mike spent most of his career in food sales and marketing although his present position was as a sales manager with Energy I.Q.
Mike started as a soccer coach in the Haverford Township Soccer League with his children, he progresed to the travel teams and for the past six years has been head coach at Merion Mercy Academy High School where his teams have raised the soccer program to new levels.
An active parishioner of St. Denis Church, he has been a long time board member of St. Denis Youth Athletic Association. Mike has headed up the St. Denis Xmas Basketball Tournament and also the basketball booth at the Fun Fair.
Mike had a love for cooking and recently had been taking night courses at the Philadelphia Culinary School to become a Chef and hopefully open a restaurant someday. He had a passion for wings and always ready to try them in various sauces.
An avid baseball fan, he could discuss the game for hours and was always looking to attend a game in a new stadium.
Mike also had a great love for music (all types) with Bruce Springsteen his favorite.
With all of his interests Mike's greatest love was his children, coaching them, cheering from the sidelines or just spending time with them he was their biggest supporter.
Mike and his wife Christine (nee McGoldrick) would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary next month. He is also survived by his 6 children, Michael, Matthew, Moira, Brighid, Shannon, and Christopher, his parents Eileen and Warren Zabel, his sister Claire Appel and his brother Thomas Zabel.
Family and friends may call in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, E. Eagle Rd. & St. Denis Lane, Havertown on Sunday June 22 from 3 to 6 PM. Michael's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday June 23 in St. Denis Church, Havertown. Interment will be in St. Denis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the Michael F. Zabel Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o 647 Overhill Rd., Ardmore, Pa. 19003

NANCY SUSAN HENNESSY
Born in PHILADELPHIA, PA. on May. 23, 1922

HENNESSY, OF HAVERTOWN, PA; MOTHER OF BILL HENNESSY JR., TOM HENNESSY, NANCY KRAMER, MARK AND SEAN HENNESSY AND THE LATE JUDY DiMINO; ALSO SURVIVED BY 11 GRANDCHILDREN AND 5 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; SISTER OF BETTY PURKIS, BOB MOORE AND THE LATE BILL MOORE.
MRS.HENNESSY LIVED IN ST. MONICA'S PARISH IN SOUTH PHILADELPHIA. SHE EMPLOYED BY THE QUARTERMASTERS DURING THE WAR. THAT IS WHERE SHE MET HER LATE HUSBAND.
THEY MOVED TO DREXEL HILL IN THE LATE 40'S. SHE THEN MOVED TO SACRED HEART PARISH IN 1955. SHE WOULD ENJOY HER HOME IN AVALON IN THE SUMMER MONTHS.
MRS. HENNESSY WAS ACTIVE IN SACRET HEART PARISH LEGION OF MARY, ALTAR AND ROSARY SOCIETY AND SENIOR SOCIAL CLUB. SHE VERY MUCH ENJOYED THE RETREATS IN ST.RAPHAEL IN HAVERFORD.

Samuel A. Mastrilli
Born in Ardmore, Pa. on Aug. 9, 1927
Departed on Jun. 23, 2003 and resided in Broomall, PA.

Mr. James A. Mastrilli, aged 75 years, of Broomall, Pa. passed away Monday June 23, 2003 at Bryn Mawr Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Mastrilli was the Husband of Anne E. (Nee Krigbaum) Mastrilli. He is the Father of James M.(late Paula) Mastrilli, and Lois A. (Thomas) Waddell. He is the Brother of Helen (John) Calvarese, and the late Edith Impicciatore, and James Mastrilli.
Also, he is survived by his 5 Grandchildren.
Sam was a graduate of Lower Merion High School, where he was a standout basketball player. Mr. Mastrilli was an outstanding athlete and competed in a fast pitch softball league (Suburban Softball League) until he was 48 years old.
Mr. Mastrilli was employed as a Union Carpenter. He was a member of the local #465. Sam retired in 1960. He worked many for the L. Rees Co. in Philadelphia, Pa.
Later, Mr. Mastrilli, became very adept with his computer. He learned to burn CD's and was very proficient at many other operations.
The Mastrilli family would appreciate memorial donations be made to the American Heart Assn. 625 West Ridge Pike Building A Suite 100 Conshohocken, Pa. 19428.

RONALD J. RANDALL

RONALD J. RANDALL ON JUNE 21, 2003 PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 63. BELOVED HUSBAND OF BARBARA J(SABOJA) OF MILLVILLE NEW JERSEY, FORMERLY OF HAVERTOWN, PA AND FORT MYERS, FLORIDA. FATHER OF EDWARD A & FELICIA M. RANDALL. ALSO SURVIVED BY 3 GRANDCHILDREN, 4 BROTHERS AND 1 SISTER. SON OF MARY TECHONCHUCH AND THE LATE RICHARD RANDALL.
MR. RANDALL WAS BORN IN CHICAGO. HE WORKED FOR EASTERN AIRLINES FOR 27 YEARS HE WAS THEN TRANSFERRED TO THE FLORIDA TICKET OFFICE IN FORT MYERS AND THEN WITH PAN AM. HIS WIFE BARBARA AND FAMILY MOVED NORTH WHERE HE TAUGHT IN THE MILLVILLE NEW JERSEY AS A SUBSTITUTE TEACHER TO PRESENT.
HE ENJOYED THE SPACE PROGRAM, TRAVEL, GOLF, AND WORKING WITH THE CUB SCOUTS OF ST.DENIS. HE WAS A MEMBER OF EASTERN AIRLINE RETIRES ASSOCIATION. HE WAS ALSO A HUGH CUB FAN.

ALBERT ANTHONY MASCIO
Born in Philadelphia, Pa. on Sep. 25, 1914
Departed on Jun. 24, 2003 and resided in Havertown, PA.

Albert A. Mascio was born September 25, 1914 in Philadelphia, Pa. to Frances (nee Tedesco) and Angelo Albert Mascio. He died Tuesday June 24, 2003 in Nazareth Hospital, Phila., Pa.
Mr. Mascio was a long time resident of Havertown, Pa. and formerly of South and Northeast Philly.
He was a WW II Army Veteran. He a Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus-Holmesburg Branch. A long time devoted member of St. Denis Parish in Havertown, Pa.
Albert was predeceased by his wife Louise Mary (nee Orlando) Mascio in 1993. He is survived by his son, Gabriel (Marie), daughter Frances (Peter), 5 grandchildren, Maria (Stephen), Christopher, Christa, Gabrielle, Albert Alexander, his sister, Louise and his brothers, Frank & John.
Family and friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Friday in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, E. Eagle Rd. & St. Denis Lane, Havertown and to his Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 A.M. Friday in St. Denis Church, Havertown. Interment is in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Pa.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Denis School Endowment Fund, 2401 St. Denis Lane, Havertown, Pa. 19083.
