William G. Herrschaft, 72, of Ardmore, Pa. died Saturday November 29, 2003 at Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Born November 12, 1931 in Philadelphia to Anna (nee Winters) and Frank Herrschaft.
He was an U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Herrschaft was an Electrician Foreman with Container Corporation of America for 27 years.
He is survived by his children, Douglas, Eric, Vanessa, Daryl, his grandson Alex and his siblings August, Joseph, Claire and Martha.
Liturgy of the Word Service will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Friday December 5 in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, E. Eagle Rd. & St. Denis Lane, Havertown, Pa. where family and friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, Pa.

William B. Luongo, Sr.
Born in South Philadelphia, Pa. on Aug. 10, 1926
Departed on Dec. 7, 2003 and resided in Hershey, PA.

Mr. William B. Luongo, Sr. passed away Sunday evening December 7, 2003 at Nipple Convelesant Home in Liverpool, Pa. Mr. Luongo had been ill for some time then his condition seemed to improve, however, in the past two weeks his health had failed.
Mr. Luongo is the former of Gloria (Nee Pronio) of Hershey, Pa. He is the Father of William B. Luongo, Jr. of Drexel Hill, Pa., Donald L. L. Luongo of Wayne, Pa., Charles V. Luongo of Dallas, Texas, Thomas L. Luongo, and Michelle A. Harden, both of whom reside in Hershey, Pa. He is the Brother of Robert Luongo, Angie Kearney, and the late Mario, Gabriel, Theodore, and The Honorable Alfred Luongo. Mr. Luongo was also survived by his 8 Grandchlidren.
Mr. William B. Luongo, Sr. was a graduate of Germantown High School and continued his education at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. There, he played football and was the Co-Captain and fullback of the 1947 Undefeated Penn Quakers Football Team. Mr. Luongo played with greats such as NFL Hall of Famer Chuck Bednarik.
Mr. Luongo was employed through the mid-1960's as a general contractor. He then went to work for Main Line Ford in Ardmore, Pa. in their tire department. Later Main Line Ford became Ruggieri Ford, that is where Mr. Luongo retired from in the mid 1970's. He later went to work part time with his son, Bill at Bill's gas/service station in Havertown, Pa.
There will be a viewing at the Funeral Home Thursday morning from 9:30 am to 10:30 am and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am in St. Denis Church in Havertown, Pa.
The Luongo would appreciate memorial donations to be made to the American Red Cross Servicemen's Family Division 2221 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, Pa. 19103.

A. DAVID REILLY, JR
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on Dec. 21, 1938
Departed on Dec. 3, 2003 and resided in Ardmore, PA.

A. David Reilly, Jr., 64 of Ardmore died at home on December 3, 2003.
Born December 21, 1938 in Pittsburgh, Pa. to Mary (nee Jones) and A. David Reilly, Sr.
Mr. Reilly lived in Ardmore for 54 years and graduated from Lower Merion High School.
For 26 years he worked in Food Service at Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Fishing, hunting and being with people were his joys in life.
He is the son of Mary (nee Jones) and the late A. David Reilly, Sr., brother of Eleanor Giacometti, Kathleen Hardy, and Daniel M. Reilly. He is also survived by 3 nieces and a nephew.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. December 10 in St. Colman's Church, Lancaster Ave. & Argyle Rd., Ardmore, Pa. where family and friends may call after 9:00 A.M. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Asociation, 1615 West Chester Pike, Suite 101, West Chester, Pa. 19382.

Richard A. Sgrignoli
Born in Mechanicsburg, Pa. on Jul. 11, 1939
Departed on Dec. 9, 2003 and resided in Media, PA.

Mr. Richard A. Sgrignoli passed away suddenly, Tuesday December 9, 2003 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He is the Beloved Husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Nee O'Loughlin) Sgrignoli. Mr. Sgrignoli had one Brother; Ernest E. Sgrignoli. He was the dear uncle of Jennyfer Sgrignoli.
Mr. Sgrignoli has resided in the Media area for the past 14 years; prior to that he was a long time resident of Havertown, Pa.
Richard had graduated from Haverford high School in 1957, then went into the United Staes Armed Forces while serving his country, Mr. Sgrignoli attended San Bernadino College.
However for the past 25 years Mr. Sgrignoli owned and operated COPI products Inc., and office product store, he had many offices however he was based out of Broomall, Pa. and that is where he did most of his work.
When he wasn't working he enjoyed his family and many friends, especially his dog, Baci. Included in his hobbies were golf, hunting, and fishing.
There will be viewings on Friday evening from 7 to 9 and again Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the funeral home. There will be a Mass Saturday at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church in Manoa.
The Sgrignoli family would appreciate memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society 1615 West Chester Pike Suite 101 West Chester, Pa. 19380.

CDR RICHARD R. WELCH U.S.N., Ret.
Born in Cushing, Oklahoma on Jun. 12, 1938
Departed on Dec. 7, 2003 and resided in Havertown, PA.

Richard R. Welch, 65, retired Commander of the U.S. Navy, died Sunday December 7, 2003 at Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Born June 12, 1938 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Willie Lee (nee Patterson) and Sam Welch.
He is a graduate of George Washington University and received his Masters degree in Human Resources Management from Pepperdine University.
CDR Welch enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1958 as a Medic. He worked his way up the ranks and was commissioned an officer in 1968. He was stationed on an LST during the Vietnam War.During his career he served tours in Guam, California, Washington, D.C., Philadelphi and two tours in Japan. He was a hospital administrator for much of his career. His last tour of duty was at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital. He retired from the Navy on October 1, 1989.
CDR Welch has lived in the Philadelphia area for the past 17 years, the last 13 years in Havertown.
A parishioner of St. Dorothy's R.C. Church in Drexel Hill. He recently converted to Catholicism bein baptized into the Catholic Chuirch last Easter.
After retirement he managed a courier service for medical laboratories.
He was a big Phillies fan and enjoyed playing golf.
He is survived by his wife Carol Ann (nee Ehardt) Welch, his sons Timothy and Andrew (Dawn) Welch, his sister Patricia Vandenberg of Arkansas, brother Howard Welch of Texas and his sister-in-law Vera Welch of Kansas.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 7:30 P.M. Thursday December 11 in St. Dorothy's Church, Township Line & Burmont Rds., Drexel Hill where family and friends may call after 6:00 P.M. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to American Diabetes Association, 1 Plymouth Meeting Mall, Suite 520, Plymouth Meeting, Pa. 19462-1316.

SARAH (nee DiLULLO) DiGUGLIELMO
Born in Philadelphia, Pa. on Aug. 1, 1915
Departed on Dec. 8, 2003 and resided in Ardmore, PA.

Sarah (nee DiLullo) Guglielmo, 88, a 60 year resident of Ardmore died Monday December 8, 2003 at the Pocopson Home in West Chester, Pa.
Born August 1, 1915 in Phila., Pa to Filomena & Sabatino DiLullo.
She was married for 60 years to the late Peter DiGuglielmo and together they owned and operated the Lorraine Meat Market in Ardmore.
A devout parishioner of St. Denis Church for over 60 years.
Mrs. DiGuglielmo enjoyed playing cards and traveling with her friends.
She is survived by her children, Dorothea Drum, Phyllis Tecco, David DiGuglielmo, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and her sister Violet Ferry.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Friday December 12 in St. Denis Church, E. Eagle Rd. & St. Denis Lane, Havertown where family and friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Denis Cemetery.

Raymond Joseph Lerro
Born in Philadelphia, Pa on Apr. 14, 1937
Departed on Dec. 9, 2003 and resided in Havertown, PA.

Raymond Joseph Lerro suddenly on December 9, 2003 beloved son of the late Ralph J & Agnes (nee Dallas) Lerro of Havertown, Pa. Brother of Barbara Martino, James J., John J. and Suzanne C. Lerro. Also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
