MILLCREEK - Arthur Williams, Jr., 64, of Millcreek, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at his residence.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 602 W. 10th St., Erie, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, 233 E. 16th St., Erie, Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of Burton Funeral Home, 602 W. 10th St., Erie, Pa. 16502.

Wilma D. Kihn

OLD FORGE, N.Y. - Wilma D. Kihn, 91, a resident of South Shore Road, Old Forge, N.Y., passed away peacefully Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at Sunset Nursing Home, Boonville, N.Y., where she has resided since January 2005.

There will be no calling hours.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville.

Memorials may be made to HASCA (Home Aide Service of Central Adirondacks), South Shore Road, Old Forge, N.Y. 13420.

Arrangements are in care of Trainor Funeral Home Inc., 143 Schuyler St., Boonville, N.Y.

Ruth E. Trimble

Ruth E. Trimble, 89, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community, Meadville.

Arrangements are incomplete and under the direction of Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville.

Clovis A. Stein

Clovis A. Stein, 86, of 649 Cutler St., Meadville, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at his residence following a sudden illness.

Arrangements are incomplete and under the direction of Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

Etta Jean Furey

SHARON - Etta Jean Furey, 84, of Sharon, and formerly of Conneaut Lake, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Sharon Regional Health System.

Calling hours are today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake, where a funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. James Fleck, pastor of Pentecostal Holiness Church of Hermitage, officiating.

Interment will be at Union Dale Cemetery, Pittsburgh.

Memorials may be made to the Shontz Memorial Library, PO Box 5117, Conneaut Lake, 16316; or the American Cancer Society, 464 Pine St., Meadville, 16335.

J. Roland 'Pete' Lafferty

J. Roland 'Pete' Lafferty, 78, of 17143 Mullen Road, Meadville, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Meadville Medical Center.

Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.

A funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. William L. Brown, associate pastor of Stone United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Stone United Methodist Church, 956 S. Main St., Meadville, 16335; or Gambro Healthcare, Dialysis Unit, 19050 Park Avenue Plaza, Meadville, 16335.

Donna M. Ongley

COCHRANTON - Donna M. Ongley, 70, of 24698 Griffin Road, Cochranton, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at her residence.

Friends may call at the Dickson Family Funeral Home Inc., 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the funeral home with Fr. Rocco Tito of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church officiating.

Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

Marjorie J. Baker

ERIE - Marjorie J. Baker, 86, formerly a resident of Linesville, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, at Hamot Medical Center, Erie.

There will be no visiting hours.

The private graveside service will be in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Township.

Burial will follow.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Byham-Miller-Mizner Funeral Home Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.

Vera A. Wilson Herrick

GREENVILLE - Vera A. Wilson Herrick, 91, of 339 E. Jamestown Road, Greenville, died at 8:38 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, at St. Paul Homes, Greenville, Mercer County.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Randall Funeral Home, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.

The religious service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Robert Kobel officiating.

Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Jamestown.

Agnes G. Snearline

SHIPPENVILLE - Agnes G. Snearline, 97, of Beverly Healthcare-Shippenville, and formerly of Meadville, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, at Beverly Healthcare.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Lucinda, with the Rev. William Rice as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Agatha's Cemetery, Meadville.

Borland Funeral Home Inc. in Leeper is in charge of arrangements.

Daisy Ellen Balsz

CANYON COUNTRY, Calif. - Daisy Ellen Balsz, 80, of 28312 Bonnie View, Canyon Country, Calif., died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at Meadville Medical Center.

There will be no calling hours.

Services will be in California at a date and time to be announced.

SANDY LAKE - Frank G. Nogee, 82, of 369 Carlton Road, Sandy Lake, Mill Creek Township, died at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at home after a short illness.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Scott A. Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin St., Stoneboro.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard C. Steinlechner, pastor of New Lebanon Community Church, officiating.

Interment and committal service will be in New Lebanon Cemetery, Mill Creek Township.

Alec Traill

ESPYVILLE - Alec Traill, 88, of Espyville, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at UPMC Horizon, Greenville.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Harold W. Coleman Jr. Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Craig W. Cashdollar of North Shenango Presbyterian Church officiating.

Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville.

Kenneth L. Miller

PASADENA, Calif. - Kenneth L. Miller, 75, formerly of Meadville, entered the Church Triumphant on Tuesday Aug. 2, 2005, in Pasadena, Calif.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Church of the Redeemer, 16864 Conneaut Lake Road, Meadville, Pa. 16335.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Church of the Redeemer, Meadville.
