LEESBURG, Va. - Benjamin Howell Watson, 23, of 403 Andromeda Terrace N.E., Leesburg, Va., formerly of Meadville, died suddenly of natural causes Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at his residence.

Following cremation, the memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, Pa. 16335.

Arrangements are under the direction of Robert W. Waid Funeral Home Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

Gertrude C. Harpst Hummel

ERIE - Gertrude C. Harpst Hummel, 95, of 607 E. 26th St., Erie, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at St. Mary's Home of Erie, where she had been a resident for the last 11 years. She was formerly of Meadville.

Visiting hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Byham-Miller-Mizner Funeral Home Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, with a scripture service at 8:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Brigid Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, with Father David Findlay, pastor of the church, as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Erie, 1703 Ash St., Erie, Pa. 16503; or Great Lakes Hospice, 1700 Peach St., Suite 244, Erie, Pa. 16501.

Carole L. Stefanucci

Carole L. Stefanucci, 71, of 271 Wood St., Meadville, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at UPMC Horizon Health System, Shenango Campus, following a three-month illness.

Calling hours are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sarah Roncolato, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Crawford Unit, 464 Pine St., Meadville, Pa. 16335; or the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Leukemia Society of America, 2 Gateway Center, 13 North, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15222.

Margaret E. Frye

Margaret E. Frye, 93, of 537 Pine St., and formerly of 590 Jefferson St., Meadville, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community.

Calling hours are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sarah Roncolato of Grace United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Township.

The family requests memorials be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 828 N. Main St., Meadville, Pa. 16335.

Anthony (Tony) DeLoss

GAHANNA, Ohio - Anthony (Tony) DeLoss, 85, of 297 N. Rocky Fork Drive, Gahanna, Ohio, formerly of Meadville, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at Grant Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church.

Interment with full military honors will be in Mifflin Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, 197 E. Gay St., Columbus, Ohio 43215, in his memory.

Sam T. Frisina

WILLOUGHBY, Ohio - Sam T. Frisina, 90, died Friday, June 3, 2005, at his residence in Willoughby, Ohio, surrounded by his family. He was a Lake County, Ohio, resident for 49 years, and previously lived in Cleveland, Ohio.

The family received friends Sunday and Monday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.

Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37950 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.

Burial was in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio.

Laszlo Mozes

GREENVILLE - Laszlo Mozes, age 69, of 320 Cherry Hill Road, Salem Township, Greenville, passed away unexpectedly at 3:09 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2005, in the emergency room of UPMC Horizon, Greenville.

Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Loutzenhiser-Jordan Colonial Funeral Home, 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville. Also, visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church.

Inurnment of cremains will be in the columbarium of the church.

Frank L. Holden

Frank L. Holden, 88, of 900 Market St., Meadville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, at Meadville Medical Center.

Arrangements are incomplete and under the direction of Byham-Miller-Mizner Funeral Home Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.

Toni Lee Drachslin

Toni Lee Drachslin, 62, of 16231 S. Mead Road, Meadville, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at Beverly Healthcare, Meadville.

Visiting hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home, 330 Broad St., Saegertown.

The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Saegertown United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kenneth S. Custer, pastor of the church, officiating.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saegertown United Methodist Church, 620 Euclid Ave., Saegertown, Pa. 16433.

Patricia Hazen

CONNEAUT LAKE - Patricia Hazen, 48, of Conneaut Lake, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, at Meadville Medical Center.

Arrangements are incomplete and under the direction of Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville.

Leslie C. Smith

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS - Leslie C. Smith, 57, of 19425 Beider Road, Cambridge Springs, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.

There will be no calling hours.

The memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville, with Father Michael Kesicki officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville.

ADAMSVILLE - Dorothy Nottingham, 93, of 7944 Adamsville Road, Adamsville, died at 10:10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at UPMC, Greenville.

Friends may call at Baird Funeral Home, 14 Louisa Ave., Greenville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

The funeral will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Brian Snyder, pastor of Adamsville Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Rocky Glen Cemetery, Adamsville.

Doris Wilson

CUMBERLAND, Md. - Doris Wilson, 89, of Bel Air, Cumberland, Md., died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005.

Friends will be received at Hafer Funeral Service, Chapel of the Hills, 1302 National Highway in La Vale, Md., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

The funeral will be conducted at Cresaptown United Methodist Church, 14805 McMullen Highway, Cresaptown, Md., Friday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Harold R. McClay Jr. will officiate.

Interment will follow in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Cash Valley Road. Friends are then invited to return to Cresaptown United Methodist Church for a reception.

Ken Wilson, Homer Berry and Herbert Gross, longtime Cumberland residents, will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, contributions be sent to the Cumberland Senior Center, 17 Frederick Street, Cumberland, Md. 21502.

LATROBE - Mary F. Copeland, 86, a seven-year resident of Latrobe and formerly a longtime resident of Rockdale Township, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, at Loyal Hanna Care Center in Latrobe.

Calling hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs. Easter Star services is at 7.

A funeral service is Wednesday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Pat Lenox of Glenwood United Methodist officiating, with the Rev. Julie Kolacc of Teepleville United Methodist Church assisting.

Interment will be in Jervis Cemetery, Rockdale Township.

Elizabeth E. Bodosky Davis

CONNEAUT LAKE - Elizabeth E. Bodosky Davis, 90, of Conneaut Lake, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005, at Rolling Fields Nursing Home.

Calling hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake. A prayer vigil is at 7.

Mass of Christian Burial is Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Americas Church, Conneaut Lake, with Father Steve Anderson as Celebrant.

Burial will be in Our Lady Queen of Americas Church Cemetery.

LINESVILLE - Francis M. Kitchen, 93, of 3850 Carpenter Road, Linesville, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at his residence. Calling hours are Tuesday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St., Conneautville, Pa., 16406. A funeral service is Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Conneautville Baptist Church, 1205 Main St., Conneautville, with the Rev. Loren Little officiating. Interment will be in Kelloggsville Cemetery. CONNEAUTVILLE - Helen M. Foust, 92, formerly of Williamson Road, Meadville, and a resident of Rolling Fields, Conneautville, since January, died there Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005.

Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., with the funeral following at 8 p.m., at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Alan K. Harris, pastor of Linesville United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in Foust Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to Linesville United Methodist Church, 334 W. Erie St., Linesville, Pa. 16424.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A graveside memorial service for Jerald Smith Hanks, who spent his boyhood years in Springboro, will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Spring Cemetery, Springboro. The Rev. Arthur R. Kirk of Conneaut, Ohio, a close friend and family member, will conduct the service.

Homer Irving Maxwell

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. - Homer Irving Maxwell, 70, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at his home in Apple Valley, Calif.

A family memorial/celebration of life is planned for Saturday at Pala Mission, Pala, Calif., followed by cremation.

Viola Betty Jean Richardson

TOWNVILLE - Viola Betty Jean Richardson, 73, of 30395 State Highway 408, Townville, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, at her residence.

Calling hours are today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home, Main Street, Townville.

The funeral and committal service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Brumagin officiating.

Burial will be in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
