Joan C. Straub, 62 of Riviera Beach, Fla. formerly of Waynesburg, PA died at 2:15PM Monday, Sept. 1, 2003 in the Jupiter Care Center, Jupiter, Fla. MRs. Straub was born Feb. 21, 1941 in Waynesburg, PA She was the Daughter of the late ivan C. Custer and Regina Stich Custer. Mrs. Straub was Catholic by faith and was a former member of the St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Waynesburg. She worked as a TWA Reservation Clerk for several years and then worked as a Reservation clerk for a crusie line for several years. She also had worked as the Executive Secretary for Berdines Dept. Store in Fla. Surviving are her Husband: Robert L. Straub whom she married June 7, 1987. Also surviving are 2 brothers : Charles D. Custer of Schenectady, N.Y. and William Terry Stich of Columbus, Ohio. Several Nieces and Nephews. Deceased: 1 Brother: Ivan James Custer Graveside services will be held on Monday, Sept. 8, 2003 at 10:00AM at the St. Ann Cemetery in Waynesburg. With Father John Batykefer as celebrant. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St. Waynesburg, PA are in charge of arrangements.

John W. Hartman, 74 of 43 Pine Tree Lane MOrgantown, W.Va. formerly of Mt. Morris, PA died 11:50PM Wed. Dec. 11, 2002 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born Feb. 19, 1928 in Monongalia Co., W.Va. to the late George F.C. Hartman and Myrtle Sarah Cunningham Hartman. Mr. Hartman was a member of the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle, Assembly of God. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during W.W.II He was a member of United Mine Workers Local #1058, District #31. He worked for 25 years as a coal miner for Humphry #7 Coal Mine in Mt. Morris. Surviving are the mother of his Children: Macel Zimmerman 3 daughters : Linda Y. Wade and Cindie Mason both of Morgantown, W.Va., and Terri Lynne Foley of Springfield, Missouri 3 Grandchildren: Eric G.Wade, Ashley Mason, and Emily Wade 1 Brother: Lonnie L. Hartman Sr. of Morgantown, W.Va. Several Nieces and Nephews Deceased: 2 sisters Gladys Boyers and Daisy Lancaster 1 Brother: George F. Hartman Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Friday Dec. 13, 2002 at the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. Mt. Morris, PA additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 the hour of service at the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God on Sat. Dec. 14, 2002. Burial will be at the Cedar Grove Cemetery Mt. Morris. Rev. Fred Tomlinson officiating.

John S. Millikin, 82 of Waynesburg, PA died at 3:15AM Friday, Sept. 12, 2003 in the Beverly Health Care. He was born Nov. 14, 1920 in Center Twp., Greene Co. He was the Son of the lateWilliam L. and Goldie Day Millikin. Mr. Millikin spent most of his life in Greene Co., where he was a member of the Washington St. United Methodist Chruch in Waynesburg. He was a retired member of the Waynesburg Volunteer Fire Co. after 23 years of active service. Mr. Millikin served with the U.S. Army during W.W.II in the European Theater of Operations. He worked for 25 years for Waynesburg Hardware retiring in September of 1987. His Wife: Vivian Martin Millikin died June 26, 1988 Surviving are 1 Daughter: Sandra Kaye Millikin of Berea, W.Va. 1 Son: Roger L. Millikin of Waynesburg, PA 3 Grandsons: Jason Springston and Derek Springston, and Mark Millikin Several Nieces and Nephews Deceased: 1 Sister: Lillian Dunn 2 brothers : Paul D. Millikin and William L. Memorial Park, Morgan Twp., Greene Co. The Waynesburg Vol. Fire Co. will hold a visitation at 7:00PM at the Funeral home on Sunday Sept. 14, 2003.

John R. Pysh, 74 of Buckeye Road Mt. Morris, PA died at 3:58PM Tuesday October 14, 2003 in the Monongalia General Hosp. Morgantown, W.Va. He was born March 21, 1929, in Monongalia Co., W.Va. He was the Son of the Late Joh nPysh and Anna Dolacky Pysh. Mr. Pysh was a Veteran having served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a coal miner for 40 years at the Pursglove #15 Coal Mine and 2 years at the Humphrey #7 Mine retiring in 1991. Surviving are his Wife: Linda Boone Pysh whom he married December 28, 1963 Also surviving are 4 adopted Grandchildren: Sam Petsonk, Annie Petsonk, Bailey Brewer, and Blake Brewer. Several Nieces and Nephews Deceased: 1 Sister: Mary Neomi Pysh Friends will be received Thursday from 2:00Pm to 4:00Pm and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. Corner Ellsworth AVe and Rt. 19 Mt. Morris, PA Addition Visitation will be held from 9:00AM to 10:00AM the hour of service on Friday, Oct. 17, 2003 at the Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fred Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

John Edward Spear Jr. 73 of Brave, PA died at 2:50PM Friday June 27, 2003 at the Presbyterian Medical Center, Pitts. PA He was born July 20, 1929 in Masontown, PA He was the Son of the late John E. and Eva R. Luckey Spear. Mr. Spear was a member of the Rogersville United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served with the United States Navy as an Electronics Technician. He retired in 1984 as a Federal Employee having worked 33 years for the Dept. of Defense as a Communication Management Specialist. His Wife: Charletta Martin Spear died June 8, 1999. John B. Stone, 87 of Waynesburg died at 6:55Am Thursday July 17, 2003 at home. He was born November 1, 1915 in Brownsville, PA He was the Son of the late Samuel J. and Anna Jackson Stone. Mr. Stone was affiliated with the Presbyeterian Church. He was a member of the National and PA Education Associations. John was a member of the Waynesburg Masonic Lodge #153 F&AM, Uniontown Lodge of Perfection, and was a Life member of the Syria Temple in Pitts. He was a Veteran of W.W.II having served with the U.S. Army Medical Corp from 1942 to 1946. He was a graduate of Brownsville High School Class of 1933 and California State Teachers College class of 1937. He earned his Masters degree from the University of Pitts. in 1957. Mr. Stone started teaching in the Berlin brothers Valley School District from 1937 to 1942. He then worked at the Waynesburg High School as the Industrial Arts Teacher from 1946 to 1955. Following this he taught at the Baldwin White hall High School from 1955 til his retirement in 1976. His Wife: Dr. Ruth Wells Stone whom he married July 31, 1942 died April 7, 1986. Surviving are 1 Daughter: Krista S. Kuhl of Mars, PA His Twin Brother: James E. Josephine G. Kerr, 80 of 414 Jefferson Road Wayensburg, PA died Sunday, February 16, 2003 at the Ewing Personal Care Home in Waynesburg. She was born April 27, 1922 in Carmichaels, PA to the late Albert and Annie Miller Guseman. Mrs. Kerr was a lifelong resident of Greene Co., where she was a member of the Oakview United Methodist Church in Waynesburg. She worked for 45 years as a bookkeeper at McCrory's in Waynesburg retiring in 1987. Her Husband: Jacob Lloyd Kerr whom she married June 16, 1954 died Jan. 19, 1984. Surviving are 1 Nephew: Thomas Rynolds of Rockford, Ill. Joy Lee Hill, 70 of Waynesburg, PA died at 9:30PM on Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at the Greene Co. Memorial Hospital Waynesburg. She was born JUne 5, 1934 in Waynesburg, PA A Daughter of the late Alba A. "Shorty" Curlin and Delphine Sagges Curlin. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Brunch Bunch retired secretaries from Central Greene School District. She worked for 22years for Central Greene School District retiring June 9, 1995. Her Husband: John B. "Jack" Hill whom she married September 29, 1957 died November 7, 1984. Surviving are 1 Daughter: Carolyn McNeely of Waynesburg, PA 2 Grandchidlren: Cassie Nicole McNeely and Matthew Ryan McNeely 3 sisters : Gay Byard of Richfield, Ohio, Happy Grim of Waynesburg, PA and Cheer McCallister of Rivesville, WV. Several Nieces and Nephews Deceased: 1 Brother: Glee S. Justina V. Butalla-Figel infant Daughter of Justin M. and Sharon V. Butalla Figel died 7:20AM Sunday, July 20, 2003 in the Mercy Medical Center in BAltimore, Maryland. She was born July 19, 2003 in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to her Parents she is survived by her Paternal GrandMother and Step GrandFather: Patrick and Jane Curran of Glen Burnie, Maryland. Paternal GrandFather: Adrion Figel of SanMateo, Calf. Paternal Great GrandMother: Ann Veliky of Donora, PA Deceased: Maternal Grandparents: Eugene E. and Sally V. Butalla Services were private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial was in the St. Ann Cemetery in Waynesburg with Father John Batykefer officiating. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St. Waynesburg were in charge of arrangements.

Karen Sue Tuttle, 64 of Spraggs, PA died at 5:00AM on Friday, OCt. 22, 2004 at the home of her Son in N.C. She had been in her usual health and death was due to an apparent Heart Attack. She was born Jan. 14, 1940 in Brave, PA a Daughte rof the Late Delmont Blue and Opal Bissett Blue. Mrs. Tuttle enjoyed spending time with her family. She worked for 23 years as a custodian for Central Greene School District retiring Jan. 31, 2002 as Head Custodian. Surviving are her Husband: Ted L. Tuttle whom she married July 4, 1959 Also Surviving are 2 daughters : Terri Lynne Bland and her Husband, Ronald of Waynesburg, PA, and Dreama Sue Swanson of Waynesburg, PA 2 sons : Mark Edward Tuttle and Wife, Robin of Spraggs, PA and Jerry Lee Tuttle and Wife, Wanda of Spraggs, PA 8 Grandchildren: Elizabeth Walls, Laura Swanson, Craig Bland, Adam Bland, Matthew Tuttle, Todd Bland, Nathan Tuttle, and Kayla Tuttle 1 Great Granddaughter: Mercedez Walls 1 Sister: Linda Dodson of Brave, PA 1 Brother: Jerry Blue of Canton, Ohio Several Nieces and Nephws Deceased: 1 Great GrandSon: Bradley Metz 1 Sister: Mary Jo Hillberry 1 Brother: William Spenser Blue Friends will be recieved from 2:00PM to 4:00Pm and 7:00Pm to 9:00PM on Monday Oct. 25, 2004 at the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. Kathleen Z. (Dodd) Riedemann, 79 of Mesa Arizona died Tuesday May 28, 2002 at 8:00 PM in the Valley Luthern Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. She was born March 31, 1923 to the late Lawrence and Helen (McGee) Dodd. Mrs. Riedemann worked for General Electric Lamp Plant at Nela Park in Cleveland, Ohio as an Electronics Inspector retiring in 1985. Her Husband: Harold "Hal" J. Riedemann died June 17, 1985. Surviving are 1 aunt: Nettie McGee Bedale of Mesa, Arizona 4 Cousins: Eleanor J. Chumley, Gerald K. She was born November 1916 in White ley Twp., Greene Co. A Daughter of the late Frederick V. and Olive Irene Rogers Headley. Mrs. Graham was a member of the former Kirby United Methodist Church now the Claughton Chapel United Methodist Chruch. She was a member of the W.S.C.S. of the church. Mrs. Graham was a former 4H leader and was a member of the Knit and Stitch in Kirby. She enjoyed Auctions, Flea Markets, Shopping, sewing, crafts and traveling. Mrs Graham was a Homemaker. Morris, PA A Daughter of the late Albert and Rhoda Fox Rose Sr. Mrs.Lemley worked as a custodian for the Monongalia County Board of Education for several years in W.Va. Her Husband: Donzel A. Lemley whom she married in December of 1944 died March 7, 2000. Surviving are 1 Daughter and Son In Law Sandra and David W. Sparks of Mt. Morris, PA 1 Granddaughter: Jamie Sparks of Mt.
