Laurentina Bruno, 93, passed January 4th 2010, at the Hopkins Manor, North Providence. She was the wife of the late Vincent G. Bruno.
Born in North Providence on February 23rd 1916, a daughter of the late Isidro and Henrietta (Silva) Arruda.
She had been employed by Standard Romper for many years before retiring.
She had dedicated her life to her beloved children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by a son Vincent P. Bruno and his wife Lynn, a daughter, Charlotte Medeiros and her husband Anthony, all of North Providence.
Five grandchildren, Steven, Julie and Glenn Medeiros, Cynthia McNeill and Leanne LaFleur, ten great grandchildren, Glenn Jr, ILaura, Krystiana, Alexandra, Steven Jr, David, Sarah and Jacob Medeiros, Douglas and Kadence McNeill.
She is also survived by two sisters Claire Supino and Dorothy Haddad. She was the sister of the late Daniel, James, Gile, Gaspar and Tiofa Arruda and Mary Theresa Cozzone,
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at 10am Relatives and friends invited, calling hours Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8pm.. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.

Mildred D. Tilquist
January 2, 2010

Mildred D. Tilquist, 89, of Jenks Ave, passed January 2nd 2010 very peacefully surrounded by her loving family, she was wife of the late August K. Tilquist and John F. Kiley.

Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late John and Isabelle (Hanley) Ostrander.
Mildred had previously been employed as a Facilitator for the Law Firm of Hinkley, Allen, Salisbury and Parsons.

She is survived by a son, John F. Kiley and his wife Patricia of Manville, a daughter, Kathleen Kiley with whom she resided,
four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a great-great grandson.

Services were private. Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Johnson.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St, Providence, RI, 02904.

Lionel Charest
March 25, 2010

Lionel Charest, "Train" 53, of Rosewood Ave, passed Thursday, March 25th at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island peacefully with his loving daughter by his side.
He was the former husband of Dawn (McDiarmid) Marcou.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Lionel and Margaret (Levesque) Charest.
He was the proprietor of Stop & Go Auto for many years and loved riding his Harley.
Lionel was the head coach for the Stop and Go Wildcats co-ed softball team and served in the US Army.
He is survived by a daughter, Amanda Charest of Cumberland, three sisters, Margaret Beaudowin, of Woonsocket, Alice Charest and Theresa Cardin, a brother, Michael Charest all of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday, March 29th at 10am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Sunday, from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home and Hospice of RI, 1085 North Main St, Providence RI 02904

Charles Stanley
March 22, 2010

Charles Stanley, 73, passed away March 22nd 2010 surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born in Providence, he was the beloved husband of Ann M. (Salera) Stanley for the past 53 years. He was the son of the late Thomas and Amy (Cooper) Stanley.
Charles was a self employed paving contractor for over 40 years. He was a loyal husband, caring father and grandfather, and a wonderful friend to many. He loved his dog Teddy who always guarded him jealously.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Charles E. Stanley, Jr. and his wife Barbara; and his two grandchildren; Lauren Stanley and Thomas Stanley. He is also survived by Nicole Mollica who was like a daughter to him. He leaves two brothers; Samuel and George Stanley, and one sister; Betsy Marotte. He was also the brother of the late John, Noah, and Joseph Stanley.
His funeral service will be held Friday at 10am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by committal prayers in the Chapel of Swan Point Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours Thursday 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.

March 22, 2010

Daniel R. Alves, 64, passed March 22nd, 2010. He was the father of Yolanda A. Martins. Clarisse, Carolina, Samuel, Eric, Cedric and Jean Daniel Alves and 10 grandchildren. He also leaves many brothers and sisters.
A Funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Relatives and friends invited, calling hours Friday 5-8pm

Charles C. Godin
March 21, 2010

Charles C. Godin, 90, of 30 Washington St, died March 21, 2010 at the Veterans Administrative Hospital. He was the husband of Loretta Robitaille-Benoit.
He had been employed by the former Ritz Diner for many years before retiring due to injury.
He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, a lifetime member of the VFW Post 79 and a 26 year member of the Ocean State Barber Shop Quartet. Charles was a dedicated Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Besides his wife he is survived by a sister, Emma LeBrie of Tucson, Arizona and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial with Military Honors will be private in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Sr. Bea's Ministry, 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI 02863

Lawrence D. All, 61, of Central Ave, died March 16th at home.
Born in Barton, VT, a son of the late Donald V. and Olive I. (Laythe) Allen.
He had been employed as a pizza delivery person for various restaurants for many years. Lawrence was an Army Veteran serving as a Medic of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by a sister, Donna White of Maine, Eugene Allen of Maine and Donald Allen Jr. of Providence, Daniel R. Allen of North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Wayne L. Allen. Services private

Raymond F. Cunningham
March 15, 2010

Raymond F. Cunningham, ,Cutsy, 72, of Earl St, passed March 15th, 2010 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Mary Cunningham. They have been married for 50 years.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Charles and Margaret (Pryor) Cunningham.
Ray had been employed by the Lincoln Water Department for 37 years. He served in the 115th Military Police Reserve, was a volunteer Firefighter in the Town of Lincoln for many years and was a Communicant of St. Jude Church.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Mark Cunningham and his wife Eileen, of Paris, France and Shawn Cunningham of San Francisco, CA, a daughter, Beth Pescarino and her husband John of North Providence, two granddaughters, Kaitlin and Maeve Cunningham of Paris, France, two sisters, Bernice Tomasso of Florida and Arlene Harold of Lincoln, a brother, Charlie Cunningham of Pawtucket.
His funeral will be held Friday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church, Front St, Lincoln at 10am. Frank Penardo Sr, , 65, of Post Rd, died
March 12, 2010. He was the husband of Wanda (Heverly) Penardo.
Born in West Warwick, a son of the late Napoleon and Marcella (Schell) Penardo.
He had been a lifelong carpenter.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Frank Penardo Jr. and his wife Lisa Bastic-Penardo of Lincoln, A brother, Michael Penardo of Coventry, two sisters, Sandra K. Greene of Chepachet and Merry-Ann Penardo of West Warwick, three grandchildren, Robert Bastic of Connecticut, Abigayle and Alexiana Penardo of Lincoln and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was the husband of the late Sandra F. Davis-Penardo and the former husband of Joyce LaFazia-Higham.
Visitation will be held at 9am Tuesday, March 16th followed by a service at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 45 Gay Street, Providence, RI 02905-2322
