Alice Doiron - Harrisville
Alice (Moulson) Doiron, 73, of Harrisville, R.I., passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at the Pine Grove Health Center in Pascoag, R.I., with family by her side.

She was the beloved wife for 55 years of Armand Doiron. Born Aug. 30, 1937, in Woonsocket, R.I., she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Jeannette (Glaude) Moulson. She was the loving mother of Monique Packer, of West Warwick, R.I., Anne Jacques and her husband John, of Paxton, Mass., Denise McIlmail, of Warwick, R.I., and Nicole Gomes, of Burrillville, R.I.; and her cherished 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Claire Nichols and her husband Edward, of Sutton, Mass., and the late Joan Eames and Ernest Moulson Jr.

Alice was raised in Bellingham, Mass., at Lake Hiawatha and attended Bellingham High School, and she resided in Albion, R.I., for 40 years before retiring to Tucson, Ariz., 15 years ago. She worked at Chemart, Roger Williams Food and American Tourister. Mr. and Mrs. Doiron celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on May 28, 2010. She was an avid traveler. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, Dec. 6, at 9 a.m. from CARTIER’S FUNERAL HOME, 151 South Main St. (Route 126), Bellingham, MA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Saint Ambrose Church, 191 School St., Albion, RI. Visiting hours are on Sunday, Dec. 5, from 1 to 5 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alice Doiron may be made to a charity of your choice.

Annette F. Corriveau - North Providence
Annette F. Corriveau, 92, of Nipmuc Trail, North Providence, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Heritage Hills Nursing Home after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

She was the widow of J. Lucien Corriveau. Born in Fall River, Mass., a daughter of the late Gideon and Clara (Mongrain) Poirier, she had been a resident of North Providence for 20 years and previously had lived in Slatersville and Woonsocket. Mrs. Corriveau was an assistant director of dietary services at Fogarty Hospital, now Landmark Medical Center, in North Smithfield for 15 years before retiring. She also had worked at the family bakery, Poirier’s Bakery, in Fall River. She was the district chairwoman of the Girl Scout Cookie drive, a member of the Ladies Guild at Fogarty Hospital and a former member of Holy Family Church Christian Family Movement. She leaves her daughters, Clarice J. Cote and her husband Rene of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., Suzanne P. Kogut and her husband Bernard of North Providence, Denise R. Mize and her husband Robert of Westford, Mass., and Jeanne S. Duquette and her husband Marc of Harrisville; and 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Clara Fagan, Ida Patry and Wilfred, George and Edmour Poirier.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Patients Activity Fund, Heritage Hills Nursing Centre, 80 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917.

Armande M. Rousseau - Burrillville
Armande M. Rousseau, 95, of South Main Street, Pascoag, died March 24 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.

She was the wife of the late Alfred Rousseau. Born in Canada, she was a daughter of the late Casimir and Artimise (Robert) Gibeau. She was a homemaker. She leaves eight children, Theresa R. Hebert of Blackstone, Leo R. Rousseau and Wilfred R. Rousseau, both of Woonsocket, Alfred R. Rousseau, Robert R. Rousseau and Albert R. Rousseau, all of Bellingham, Mass., Irene R. Labrie of Sarasota, Fla., and Claire R. Theroux of Pascoag; 34 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Edgar R. Rousseau and Alice R. Brin.

Her funeral will be held Friday, March 28, at 9 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, Rathbun Street, Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4-8 p.m.

Bonnie Jean Alotta - Cumberland
Bonnie Jean (Baker) Alotta, 47, of Cumberland died March 24 at home.

Born in Providence, the daughter of Francis K. and Marilynn J. (Noonan) Baker, she had lived in Cumberland for most of her life. She graduated from Cumberland High School in 1978 and Newbury Junior College in 1980. An invaluable employee of the Lackmann Culinary Services in Cumberland for the past two years, she will be dearly missed. She previously had worked for the Diamond Hill Animal Hospital for more than 20 years. She leaves two daughters, Sarah L. McKenney of Bellingham, Mass., and Katherine F. Alotta of Blackstone; two sons, Arnold F. McKenney of Westminster, Mass., and Peter J. Alotta of Blackstone; a brother, Michael S. Baker of Sudbury, Mass.; and a sister, Lori A. Swenson of Athens, Maine. She was the sister of the late Kevin F. Baker.

Her family will receive guests Thursday, March 27, at 9 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Calling hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cumberland Animal Shelter, Martin Street, Cumberland, RI 02864.

Brittany Lynn Rosa - Cumberland
Brittany Lynn Rosa, 20, of Cumberland, died Saturday at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Ildaberto Rosa of Pawtucket and Natalie (Puga) Rosa of Cumberland, and the granddaughter of Jose Roposo and Maria DosAnjos Puga of Cumberland and Maria Fatima Rosa of Pawtucket and the late Ido Soares Rosa. Brittany lived most of her life in Cumberland.

Brittany was an active communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Pawtucket where she received all of her sacraments, was an alter server and read clergy. She also was a volunteer at Miriam Hospital at 16 years old. Brittany enjoyed soccer and basketball and played for the Boys & Girls Club. She also played the clarinet for the McCourt Middle School Band and attended Cumberland High School. Beside her parents and grandparents, Brittany leaves her brothers, Nicholas and Kenneth Rosa of Cumberland, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the LACHAPELLE FUNERAL HOME, 643 Main St., Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Pine Street, Pawtucket at 10 a.m. Her life will be celebrated with calling hours Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket Avenue, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to the Tomorrow Fund, RI Hospital Campus, 593 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02903.

Carol F. Mondoux - North Smithfield
Carol F. (Kennedy) Mondoux of North Smithfield, formerly of Woonsocket, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at home.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Mondoux Sr. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Parent) Kennedy. She worked for the former McCarthy’s Department Store in Woonsocket for many years and was the talking Christmas tree at the store. She was the treasurer of Gatewood Association, a former Girl Scout leader and past president of the Bernon Heights PTA. Survivors include three sons, Charles Mondoux and his wife Dotti and John Mondoux and his wife Gail, all of North Smithfield, and Joseph Mondoux Jr and his wife Reney-Ann of Glocester; five grandchildren, Allyson Harper-Nixon, Michelle, Casey and Ashleigh Mondoux and Lauren Williams; a brother, Charles V. Kennedy Jr. of Woonsocket; a sister, Velma Maynard of Warwick; and many special friends.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Road, North Smithfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Slatersville. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

William E. Farrell
North Providence – William E. Farrell, 95, of Smithfield Road and formerly of Goff Avenue, Pawtucket died Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Hopkins Manor, North Providence. He was the husband of Lillian M. (Burns) Farrell.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Michael J. and Elizabeth A. (Croshaw) Farrell, he had lived in Pawtucket all his life before moving to North Providence 4 years ago.
Mr. Farrell was a landscaper for various companies before retiring.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a POW, and he was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Pawtucket.
His wife is his only immediate survivor. He was the brother of the late Rita Horton, Joseph Farrell, Edward Farrell and Raymond Farrell.

Pawtucket – Florence I. (Viau) Lopez, 97, of Oak Hill Avenue died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Oak Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. Lopez.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Ovila Viau and the late Josephine (Lamothe) Viau-Boyer and the stepdaughter of the late Peter Boyer.
Mrs. Lopez was a bookkeeper at CHN Anodizing, Pawtucket before retiring in 1980. She had previously worked at Shartenberg's and the Outlet Company.
She was a 1932 graduate of Bryant & Stratton College. She was a member of Chapter # 619, AARP, Pawtucket, and a member of the St. Joseph's Senior Citizens. She was also a member of the Central Falls Community Center and the Leon C. Mathieu Center, Pawtucket.
She is survived by one daughter, Rita A. Cavanaugh-Despres of Pawtucket; two granddaughters, Catherine Cavanaugh of Riverside and Beth Handrigan of St. Louis, MO; and two great granddaughters, Elizabeth and Emma Handrigan, both of St. Louis, MO.
