CUMBERLAND - Deolinda Costa, 96, of Eddy Street passed away peacefully Tuesday in the Grandview Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Jose Antonio DaCosta.
Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of Jose Miguel DosSantos and Maria Augusta Ribeiro. She resided in Cumberland for the past 20 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.
Mrs. Costa was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland. She loved to reflect in prayer, sing, cook, but most of all she was a friend to all.
She leaves three daughters, Margaret Roque of North Smithfield, Rose Mary Teixeira of Cumberland, and Esther Pato of Woonsocket; two brothers, Eduardo DosSantos and Joao Ribeiro, both of Portugal; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Antonio Costa and sister of the late Manuel Miguel, Antonio DosSantos and Jose DosSantos.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 PM.

Jeannette D. Vecoli
PAWTUCKET - Jeannette D. (Demers) Vecoli, entered into eternal life on Monday, October 24, 2011 at her home on Cute Street in Pawtucket, RI surrounded by family. Jeannette succumbed to complications from Lewy Body and Alzheimer's Diseases.
Born in Central Falls, RI on May 19, 1929 to William and Laura (Vandal) Demers, she is survived by two sisters: Rose McKenna of Swansea, MA, and Laura (Pat) Aylsworth of Attleboro, MA and two brothers: William (Bill) Demers of Deland, FL and John (Jack) Demers of Cumberland, RI.
Jeannette (Nonni) was married for sixty-three years to Alfred M. Vecoli Sr. (Nonno) of Pawtucket, RI. Their eight children and spouses are: Alfred M. Vecoli Jr. of Springfield, MO; Ann-Marie and John J. (Jack) Cardosi of Seekonk, MA; Janet and Paul Barrett of East Haddam, CT; Linda and William Vecoli-Martin of North Smithfield, RI; Charles and June Vecoli of Antioch, IL; Tina Vecoli of Pawtucket, RI; John J. and Brenda Vecoli of Bristol, RI; Christopher Jude and Joseph Vecoli-Furtado of Seekonk, MA. Nonni is survived by fourteen grandchildren and Six great-grandchildren.
Jeannette has lived on Cute Street for over fifty years and has shared many memories with her best friend Claire Carr, and her in-laws the Vecolis, Miniatis and Poiriers.
Jeannette was a long time parishioner of St. Teresa's Parish of Pawtucket, RI where, over the years, she was active as lecturer, Eucharistic minister, choir member, catechism teacher, and CCD Coordinator. She was a supporter of Catholic education and the St. Teresa School.
Nonni especially enjoyed summers with her family and friends in Warren, RI. She liked traveling and enjoyed many trips both domestic and abroad. She has hosted international visitors including an exchange student. She was fond of opening her home to others and sharing her blessings and smile with all. She had a talent for cooking and sewing and she will be remembered for teaching these skills to many over the years.
Jeannette held numerous employment positions in the Pawtucket area. She has worked in the retail, textile and jewelry industries including her last position before retiring, supervisor in the precious gems room at Catamore Jewelry in East Providence, RI.
She attended Providence College where she studied religious education becoming a certified Catechism teacher and CCD Coordinator in the Diocese of Providence.
The funeral for Mrs. Vecoli will be Friday, October 28, at 9:00 a.m. from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. The burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery. Her calling hours will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Teresa's Renovation Fund, 358 Newport Ave, Pawtucket RI 02861 or Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence RI 02904. The family would like to acknowledge the private homecare caregivers, Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, Ocean State Community Resources and Fr. Joseph Paquette of St. Teresa's parish for their support and kindness.

PAWTUCKET - Russell F. Bears Jr., 55 of Prince Street, passed away Saturday at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He died unexpectedly after complications with pneumonia.
He was the loving husband of 19 wonderful years to Nelia Aguiar-Bears, and father of Adrian Aguiar-Ray of Pawtucket and two daughters.
Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Russell F. Bears and Elsie M. Baker.
Mr. Bears was a devoted employee in the shipping dept. for General Cable Company of Lincoln for over 37 years. He loved to spend time with his family and his pets, enjoyed watching sports, and also loved fishing in his spare time.
Besides his beloved wife and son he leaves several brothers and sisters, his mother-in-law Maria Aguiar and father-in-law Jose Aguiar, all of Pawtucket, he also leaves several family members and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, 661 Prospect St. Pawtucket RI. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Friday, 4-8 PM.

PAWTUCKET - Horacio Almeida, 73, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Rosa (Cabral) Almeida for 42 years. Born in Portugal, a son of the late Joaquim and Maria (Patrocino) Almeida, he resided in Pawtucket for 33 years. Horacio was employed by American Insulated Wire Company. He enjoyed hunting game and rabbit.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Joe C. Almeida and his wife Melissa and two grandchildren, Adam J. and Emily R. Almeida all of Pawtucket; three brothers, Lidio, Joao and Arturo Almeida; a sister, Adelaide Santos and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Antonio and Maria deLuz Almeida.
VISITATION will begin Wednesday at 9 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.Interment will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Pawtucket, RI 02904.

Shirley A. Herbert

FLORIDA - Shirley A. Herbert 75, beloved wife and mother, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 in Asheville, NC from a recurrence of a rare form of cancer. Shirley was born on July 23, 1936 in Pawtucket, RI and is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Coderre and Victoria Spano Coderre and sister, Barbara Robertson, all of Pawtucket, RI. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Louis P. Herbert of Summerfield, FL; son, Walter "Scott" Herbert and his wife, Karen of Tavares, FL; grand-children, Jonathan Herbert and Jessica Herbert; and great-grandson, Logan Herbert.
Shirley was a graduate of Pawtucket East High School and lived for many years in Plainville, MA before relocating to FL in 1993. She resided in Summerfield, FL from 2004 until her passing. She was a dedicated parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir and an advocate for their food pantry. She was also a member of the Spirited Singers of Del Webb Spruce Creek.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011 at 10 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church at 10670 Southeast Highway 464, Candler, FL. All who wish to celebrate her life are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her name. CUMBERLAND - Thomas F. Pryor, 76, of England Street, passed away Sunday in the Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Maralyn (Duprey) Pryor.
Born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elsie (McKee) Pryor. He was a life-long resident of Cumberland.
Mr. Pryor was the owner and operator of Pryor's Super Service Gas Station Garage (formerly McKee's Super Service) for over 15 years, and later was a Custodian for the Cumberland School Department for 13 years until his retirement in 1996.
Thomas was great talker and had a love of history, especially the history of Cumberland, and gave several lectures to students at Cumberland Middle School some years ago.
He leaves his beloved daughter, Elizabeth "Libbie" Pryor, and her husband Brian Arnold of Southboro, MA; two sisters, Mary McCaffrey of Wakefield and Barbara Fuller of Mason, MI; one step-grandson, Francis Arnold of Southboro, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday at 8 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in St. Patrick Church, Broad Street, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Miriam Hospital, American Heart Association or the Epilepsy Foundation of Massachusetts.

NORTH PROVIDENCE - Pauline R. Panciotti, 72, of North Providence, died on Thursday at the South Shore Hospital in S. Weymouth, MA. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Panciotti.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Dona J. and Violet (Langlois) Deloge, she had been a resident of North Providence for several years. Prior to retirement in 2000, she had been employed as an insurance clerk at the Pawtucket Mutual Insurance Company for 10 years. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish, and very active in church work. She was also a mentor for Junior Achievement.
Survivors are four sons: Michael Panciotti of Braintree, MA; Andrew Panciotti of Providence; John Panciotti of Stagecoach, NV; and James Panciotti of Pawtucket; two daughters: Mary Ann Lee of Hudson, OH; and Marie Panciotti of Texas; one sister: Marilyn Deloge of North Providence; and 10 grandchildren: Tiffany, Courtney, Jonathan, Joseph, Andrew Jr., Ann and Christiana Panciotti, Bridget and Connor Lee and Nathan Colehour; and one great-granddaughter, Riley Panciotti.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 9 a.m. from the DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to American Red Cross, 105 Gano St., Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.

CUMBERLAND - Michael P. Lefrancois III, four months old, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Born June 9, 2011, he was the son of Michael and Michelle (Altongy)Lefrancois.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Dr. Gilbert and Mimi Altongy; his paternal grandparents, Michae l Lefrancois and Deborah Jackson and her husband Archie.
A Liturgy of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 11am in Saint Basil The Great Church, Skyview Drive, Lincoln. Burial will be in Saint Basil's Cemetery, Cumberland.
Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 9 to 10:45am prior to the Liturgy in the church. Arrangements by O'Neill Funeral Home, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SMA Foundation, at curesma.org, would be appreciated.

William "Bill" Theodore Goyette

William "Bill" Theodore Goyette
NORTH ATTLEBORO - William "Bill" Theodore Goyette, 80, of Mount Hope Street, North Attleboro, died unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, October 22, 2011. He was the husband of the late Mary M. (Sabatini) Goyette who died on September 18, 2007.
Born in Mansfield, Massachusetts on November 1, 1930, he was one of twelve children born to the late Ovila I. and Emma R. (Arns) Goyette. He was raised and educated in North Attleboro and remained a resident of the community for most of his life.
Mr. Goyette was employed as a meat cutter in Boston from 1957 until the 1990s and later was employed as a groundskeeper for Chemawa Golf Course in North Attleboro for several years.
He was a communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro where he often volunteered with gardening responsibilities.
His favorite pastimes included gardening, bowling, playing golf and listening to country music.
Mr. Goyette leaves two sons: John A. Goyette of Cumberland, Rhode Island and Kevin Goyette of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; his siblings: Doris M. Legg of North Attleboro; Elizabeth A. Camire of Lakewood, Washington; Joseph R. Goyette of Norton; Ernest "Mickey" A. Goyette, with whom he resided, of North Attleboro; Marie T. White of Oxford, Maine; Charles D. Goyette of Peru, Massachusetts and Richard A. Goyette of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; several grandchildren; three generations of nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
He was the father of the late William R. Goyette who died in 1994 and was the brother of the late Thomas O. Goyette, Robert G. Goyette, David W. Goyette and James O. Goyette.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Monday, October 24, 2011 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
Children's room available during visitation.
Those in need of a local ride to visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such gratis transportation.

Thomas A. Frechette, Pastor, officiating.
There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the commencement of church services.
Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville, Rhode Island.
An invitation to join the family for continued fellowship and refreshments will be extended at the conclusion of services.
