Jere St. Angelo
1937 - 2007
Bonita Springs, FL - Jere St. Angelo, 70 of Bonita Springs, Florida and Sunapee, NH passed away peacefully on September 14, 2007 after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Newport, RI, he was the son of the late Genaro and Josephine (Garvin) St. Angelo. He was the husband of Anna (DiMeglio) St. Angelo, to whom he was married for 48 years.
After serving three years in the U. S. Navy, Mr. St. Angelo attended and graduated from Bryant College (now Bryant University) in 1961 as class valedictorian. Upon graduation, he joined the international accounting firm, Arthur Andersen & Co., and retired as a senior partner in 1994. He was a CPA in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and President of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs from 1987 to 1988 and a member of the AICPA Council from 1987 to 1990.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children: David and his wife, Amy, of Austin, TX and their children, Alexander and Evan; Jere Michael of Springfield, NH; Dianne Sullivan and her husband David of Woodbury, MN and their children, Katelynn, Danielle and Thomas; Marilyn Cannon of Canton, MA and her children, Brittany and Keryn; and Lisa Albert and her husband, Alan, of Cumberland, RI, and their daughter, Annarose. He was the brother of Dorothy Hogan, Muriel Knight, Rita Coggeshall and James, Wallace and Joan St. Angelo.
Funeral with military honors will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow at the North Burial Ground, Bristol, RI.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aid for Cancer Research, PO Box 376, Newton Centre, MA 02459.

Helen T. Fisher
1925 - 2007
Lincoln - Helen T. Fisher, 81 of Timberland Dr. died Monday at home. She was the wife of the late Carleton I. Fisher, they had been married for forty one years.
Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lea (Fountaineau) Letendre. She resided in Lincoln for the past forty one years.
She was active for many years in local and state affairs and organizations.
She leaves a son Dwight D. Fisher and daughter in law, Sharon of Lincoln. One brother, Russell Letendre of North Smithfield. She was also the cherished grandmother of Meaghan and Carleton Fisher of Lincoln and the late Kelly Fisher.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church, School St., Albion. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.

Margaret M. Brady
1922 - 2007
Cumberland - Margaret M. Brady passed away Thursday at her Cumberland home at the age of 84. She was the wife of the late Matthew Brady Sr.
She was the mother of the late Matthew "Barry" Brady Jr. and daughter of the late Theresa (Devlin) Reilly and John Reilly as well as the sister of Theresa Such and the late Winnifried Reilly.
She is survived by four daughters Mary Bonnie (Brady) Knopf, Maureen (Brady) Goulet, Monica Brady and Peggy (Brady) Pacheco. She also leaves 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was employed by New England Restoration, Inc. from 1985 to 1995 where she served as office director.
She was a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church, Cumberland.
A member of the Daughters of Isabella, Alhambra Circle # 42, and a member of the Association of The Marion Movement of Priests as well as a past member of the St. Patrick's Mothers Club.
She was an avid reader and her hobbies were oil painting and piano. She was proud to be a member of the Friva-Lasalle Baseball League of Cumberland a feeder team to the first National Woman's Baseball league prior to World War II.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Sunday 4 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, PO Box H Providence, RI 02901.

Marc L. Dufresne
1960 - 2007
Lincoln - Marc L. Dufresne, 47 of Great Road passed away Thursday at home. He was the husband of Joanne M. (Doura) Dufresne.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Richard and Jeannette (Cote) Dufresne of Woonsocket. He resided in Lincoln for the past 12 years, previously residing in Woonsocket.
He leaves one son Jason Passano and one daughter Jamie Passano both of Lincoln. One grandson Ethan Passano of Lincoln and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. James Church, Division Street, Manville. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham.

Judith A. Brady
1946 - 2007
Lincoln - Judith A. Brady, 61 of Reservoir Ave. passed away Friday at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Patrick J. Brady.
Born in Cumberland she was the daughter of the late William Bliven, she resided in Lincoln for the past 35 years previously residing in Cumberland.
She was an LPN for Heritage Hill Nursing Home for many years.
Beside her husband, she leaves her mother Lillian (Lachapelle) Bliven of Lincoln, two daughters Kristine O'Hern and Karleen Harris both of Lincoln, two brothers William Bliven of Burrilville and Robert Bliven of Lincoln, one sister Frances Bliven of Lincoln, three granddaughters Amanda Harris, Samantha Harris and Destiny O'Hern all of Lincoln, and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland.

Rita E. Lefebvre
1923-2007
CUMBERLAND - Rita E. Lefebvre, 84, of Meadowbrook Drive, passed away in the Grandview Nursing Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Romeo E. Lefebvre.
Born in Uxbridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Malvina (Normandin) Gervais. She resided in Cumberland for 49 years.
Mrs. Lefebvre was a communicant of the St. Joseph Church, Cumberland.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Silvia and her husband William, and Donna Lefebvre, all of Cumberland; four sisters Jeanette Kilgour, Theresa Gervais, Pauline Haley, and Marie Gervais, all of Uxbridge; and several nieces and nephews. She is the mother of the late Normand E. Lefebvre.
Her funeral and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in her memory to the Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Drive, East Providence, RI 02914 or to the Grandview Nursing Home, 100 Chambers Street, Cumberland, RI 02864. Arrangements are under the direction of the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI.

Lillian R. Roy
1918 - 2007
Cumberland - Lillian R. Roy of Dunedin, Fl., and formerly of Cumberland passed away Wednesday at home in Florida. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Roy Sr.
Born in Smithfield, she was the daughter of the late Alfonz and Mary (Lessard) Gagnon. She resided in Florida for the past 5 years previously residing in Cumberland for most of her life.
She is survived by her two daughters June Fiorio of Charlestown and Denise Wilbour of Dunedin, FL., two sons David Roy of Dunedin, FL., and Arthur J. Roy Jr. of Summerville, SC. One sister Therese Shea and her husband John of Smithfield and one brother Eugene Gagnon and his wife Rita also of Smithfield. Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Gerard Gagnon.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

Mary M. McVey
1915 - 2007
CUMBERLAND - Mary M. McVey, 92, of One Mendon Road, passed away Monday in the Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Hugh F. and Ellen (Schofield) McVey. She was a life long Cumberland resident.
Mrs. McVey was an executive secretary for the former RI Industries Inc. for many years until her retirement.
She was a communicant of the St. Patrick Church, Cumberland
She is survived by a sister Rose Iuliano of Riverside; sister-in-law, Loretta A. McVey of Cumberland; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eileen, Frank, Hugh, and Joseph McVey.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the St. Patrick Church, Broad Street, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling Hours will be held Thursday 8-9:30 PM.

Timothy D. O'Connor
1958 - 2007
Lincoln - Timothy D. O'Connor, 49 of Church Street Lincoln, passed away Wednesday at home.
Born in Providence, he was the son of John F. and June L. (Martin) O'Connor. He resided in the Manville section of Lincoln for the past 13 years previously residing in Cumberland.
He worked as a carpenter for various contracting and roofing companies for many years.
He was a 1977 graduate of Cumberland High School.
He loved animals, especially dogs and cats, and also loved the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
Beside his parents he leaves one sister Peggy Burbank of Cumberland and one brother Kevin M. O'Connor of Cranston. He was the brother of the late Patricia L. O'Connor and John F. O'Connor Jr.
His funeral will be held Monday at 8 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland.
