GEORGETOWN -- Maude Greene, 96, originally of Williamsburg County, died Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 29 at Cumberland AME Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wilds Courtyard Chapel in Georgetown.

Hattie Lee Henry

CONWAY -- Hattie Lee Moore Green Henry, age 52, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004 after an illness. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, burial will follow in Sandridge Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at McKiever Funeral Home in Conway. Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. H. Warren Rogers

MULLINS -- H. Warren Rogers, 83, died Thursday, May 27, 2004 at Marion County Medical Center. Arrangements will be announced by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Arthur J. Sawyer

FORK -- Arthur J. Sawyer, 41, husband of Anne Todd Sawyer, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

Arthur was born February 15, 1963 in Mullins, a son of James M. Sawyer and Carol Sawyer Harvin. He was an auto diesel mechanic instructor with Florence-Darlington Technical College. Arthur was a graduate of Lake View High School and Florence-Darlington Technical College. He was a member of Fork Baptist Church.

Surviving Arthur in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Brenda Larimore and her husband, Keith of Brittons Neck, Pamela Lowrimore, and Michelle Lowrimore both of the home; his grandchildren, Dakota Rouse of the home, Anthony Larimore, and Kassie Larimore both of Brittons Neck; his father, James M. Sawyer and his wife, Shirley of Fork; his mother, Carol Sawyer Harvin and her husband, Joe of Mullins; eight sisters, Lisa Humphrey and her husband, Stephen of Fork, Lisa Collins of Florence, Regina Johnson of Charlotte, N.C., Rachel Suggs of Loris, Tara Puyet of Hartsville, Tammy Wilson of Raleigh, N.C., Tiffany Wilfong of Hartsville, and Tracy Thompson of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Jody Harvin of Florence; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be 4 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at Mullins First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Ray Boone and Rev. Mike Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Mayers Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins.

Thomas M. Schneiders

LONGS -- Thomas M. Schneiders, 83, of Long Bay Estates, died Thursday, May 27, 2004 at his home. Arrangements will be announced by McMillan-Small Funeral Home.

Uthenael W. Strickland

FAIR BLUFF, N.C. -- Uthenael Williamson Strickland, 76 died Thursday, May 27, 2004 at Columbus County Hospital in Whiteville, N.C. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Saturday, May 29 at Meares Funeral Home in Fair Bluff. Burial will follow at Powell Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Ruth Linkous Willm

COLUMBIA -- Ruth Linkous Willm, 39, died Thursday, May 27, 2004.

Born and raised in Roanoke, Va., she was a daughter of Robert and Ruby Lynch Linkous and the late Patricia Bowman Linkous. She attended Crystal Spring Elementary, James Madison Junior, Patrick Henry High, Virginia Western Community College, and Roanoke College.

Ruth initially settled in Myrtle Beach, where she worked as a purchaser with Belk. Ruth transitioned into sales and worked with Verizon Superpages in Richmond, Va., Rockville, Md., and Fairfax, Va. After finishing her career with Verizon as a sales manager, Ruth moved to Columbia, where she and her husband ran a residential construction and general contracting company. Ruth was raised in Second Presbyterian Church in Roanoke, Va., and was recently an active member of Shandon United Methodist Church in Columbia. Since her initial diagnosis with breast cancer in December 2000, Ruth has spoken on many occasions to medical students, breast cancer awareness organizations, and fellow survivors.

Her endurance over the last four years has been an inspiration to the oncology community, fellow breast cancer patients, friends and family.

Memorial services for Ruth will be 11 a.m. Friday at Shandon United Methodist Church in Columbia, with visitation following in the church fellowship hall. Another service will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Second Presbyterian Church in Roanoke, Va., with visitation following in the church fellow-ship hall. A private burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park, Roanoke, Va. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are her husband, Robert Lee Willm Jr.; daughter, Catherine Lee Willm of the home; father and mother of Roanoke, Va.; brothers, Robert S. Linkous Jr. of Washington, DC and Richard A. Linkous of Roanoke, Va.; sisters, Joan Linkous McClellan of Richmond, Va., Leigh Ann Linkous Nordt of Roanoke, Va., Vickie Linkous of Roanoke, Va., and Cynthia D. Linkous of Richmond, Va.; seven nieces; and nine nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts designated in Ruth's name may be sent to Lexington Medical Center, Breast Cancer Fund, 2720 Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia, SC 29169, as Ruth served as a spokesperson for the fund this year.

Paul Kenneth Zimmer

MURRELLS INLET -- Paul Kenneth Zimmer, age 78, died Thursday, May 27, 2004 at NHC Health Care in Garden City Beach. Arrangements will be anno-unced by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

Fay Y. 'Nana' Barcellos

MYRTLE BEACH -- Fay Yvonne "Nana" Barcellos, age 68 of Crystal Lake Dr., died Friday, May 28, 2004 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Born January 24, 1936 in Kingston, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Earl and Fay Davis. Mrs. Barcellos was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church where she was a volun-teer for the school. She was also a member of T.O.P.S. and Caring 4 Kids. She will be missed by many beloved friends.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Barcellos; a daughter, Leanne McCulloch and her husband, Paul of Surfside Beach; a son, Steve Barcellos of Myrtle Beach; and a granddaughter, Kristen McCulloch.

The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2004 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach chapel. A vigil service will be 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be said 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, at St. Michael Catholic Church directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

Milne M. Good

MYRTLE BEACH -- Milne M. Good, age 48 of Kingston Village, died Friday, May 28, 2004 at home.

Born February 1, 1956 at Shaw Air Force Base, she was a daughter of James H. and Flo Tobias Good.

Surviving in addition to her parents of Kingston Village are her son; Christopher A. Good of Kingston Village; daughter, Christine R. Davenport of Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Sheron G. Jacobs and her husband, Louis of Florence; brother, James H. Good, II of Myrtle Beach; numerous nieces and nephews; and all her friends at Verizon.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 31, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

Larry E. Gregg

PAWLEYS ISLAND -- Larry E. Gregg, age 55 of Pawleys Retreat, died Friday, May 28, 2004 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Born February 7, 1949 in Conway, he was the son of Betty Joe Godbold and the late Albert Elmore Gregg. Mr. Gregg was employed as a Senior Program Manager for Southern Manage-ment Group in Columbia.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Pilot Mountain, N.C. are his wife, Donna L. Gregg; a son, Thomas B. Gregg and his wife, Michelle of Bowie, Md.; a daughter, Alicia Michelle Hazelton of Tampa, Fla.; three grandchildren; a brother, Thomas M. Gregg of Columbia; and a sister, Brenda S. Poston of Pilot Mountain, N.C.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

Donald L. Grenier Sr.

CONWAY -- Donald Louis Grenier Sr., age 72 of Hwy. 472, passed away Friday, May 28, 2004 at Loris Community Hospital after an illness.

Mr. Grenier was born August 27, 1932 in Mount Clair N.J., a son of the late George and Antionett Grenier. Mr. Grenier was a self-employed truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Eunice Grenier, one son, Donald L. Grenier Jr. of Conway; three daughters, Theresa Grenier of Houston, TX, Darlene Grenier and Cheryl Little, both of Conway; two brothers, Edward Grenier of Missouri and Samuel Bullas of N.J.; two sisters, Loretta Trammell of Houston, TX and Antionett Cole of Colo.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 31, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Palmetto Funeral Home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, at St. James Catholic Church of Conway, with Father Rick LaBrecque officiating. Palmetto Funeral Home of Conway is serving the family.
