GEORGETOWN -- Milicent "Bebe" Cooper Gurney, 91, died Sunday, July 10, 2005. Services will be Thursday, 11 a.m., at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church with burial following in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home.

Sybil Prosser Morris

HEMINGWAY -- Mrs. Sybil Prosser Morris, 75, died Sunday, July 10, 2005. Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at Rehobeth Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial in Garden of Devotion Cemetery, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Audreylee Pagani

MYRTLE BEACH -- Audreylee Pagani, 78, of Perry Circle, died Sunday, July 10, 2005 at her home.

She was born in N.Y., a retired cook, and attended Surfside Methodist Church. Survived by husband, Donald; three sons, three daughters and twenty-five grandchildren.

Services are private by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

Howard D. Pierce

LORIS -- Mr. Howard D. Pierce, 63, died Sunday, July 10, 2005. Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home, Wallace Chapel with burial following in Riverview Memorial Park, Watha, N.C. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home of Earl and Mildred Gurganious. Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home of Wallace, N.C., is in charge.

Elaine Marie Quinto

SUNSET BEACH, N.C. -- Elaine Marie Quinto, 65, died Monday, July 11, 2005. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Brunswick Funeral Service and Crematory, Shallotte, N.C.

Brandon Rook

CLINTON, S.C. -- Brandon Rook, age 18, of Skyland Dr., died Sunday, July 10, 2005 in the Laurens County Hospital.

He was born in Greenwood and was the son of Jeff Rook of Myrtle Beach and Maria Farmer McGowan of Clinton.

Brandon was a graduate of Laurens Academy Class of 2005 and had played baseball for the Crusaders helping them to the State Championship game this year. He had planned to further his education at Spartanburg Methodist College. Brandon also played baseball for the Laurens American Upstate Elite Dixie Majors Baseball Team which where District Winners and won the 2005 Dixie Majors District Champions in Inman, S.C . Brandon was the winning pitcher in the District Championship game which sent his team to the 2005 Dixie Majors State Championships to be held in Charleston on July 22nd.

He also played football on the Clinton Red Devils 2004 Upper State Play-off team.

Brandon was a member of the Community Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his father and mother; sister, Amanda McGowan of the home; step-sister, Heather Rook of Myrtle Beach; grandfather, Jerry Farmer of Ward ; grandmother, Margo Farmer of Clinton; grandparents, Jerry and Nancy Rook of Myrtle Beach; great-grandmother, Marie Farmer of Joanna; uncle, Joe Farmer of Clinton; aunt, Teresa Leopard and her husband, Gerald of Gray Court; cousins, Emily Claire Farmer, Auston Leopard, Chelsey Leopard.

Memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 13th at Community Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made the Community Baptist Church, Education Building Fund, P.O. Box 942, Clinton, SC 29325.

LORIS -- Mrs. Mattie B. Sarvis, 87, died Sunday, July 10, 2005 at home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced by the United Funeral Home of Loris.

GEORGETOWN -- Lucian Sessions, 51, died Saturday, July 9, 2005. Service will be Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at 4 p.m. with burial in Morning Glory Cemetery. Wilds Funeral Home is in charge.

Tammy Denise Woodson

CONWAY -- Tammy Denise Woodson, age 34, died Thursday, July 7, 2005. Funeral will be announced by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Willie Earl Bellamy

LITTLE RIVER -- Willie Earl Bellamy, age 48, died July 9, 2005, following an accident.

Surviving are his wife, Emma Neal Bellamy; one son, Earl Jamar Bellamy; his mother, Mable G. Bellamy; two brothers, Gettie E. and Dennis L. Bellamy Sr.; three sisters, Mable L. Gore, Alinda Bellamy and Penny Chestnut.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the St. Paul A.M.E. Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Latimer's Funeral Home is in charge.

Angela Kristine Chalmers

MYRTLE BEACH -- Angela Kristine Chalmers, 29 formerly of Manassas, Va., died Saturday, July 9, 2005 at the Medical University of South Carolina nearly six weeks after giving birth to her beautiful and healthy baby, Duncan Ray.

Born June 16, 1976 in Norfolk, Va., she was the daughter of James R. and Margaret Fletcher Dodge. Angela overcame many obstacles from birth all through her life due to many prayers, hope and determination. She never accepted that she was unusual and was determined to do anything a normal person could do. She had dreams and many came true for her which included following high school graduation, she traveled to Europe. Second, she went to college to learn to help other disabled children. And finally to marry, for which she planned for years. She loved her family and would want her husband and all her family to have a strong presence in Duncan Ray's life.

Surviving in addition to her parents of Murrells Inlet are her husband of two years, Dwayne Joseph Chalmers; son, Duncan Ray Chalmers; brothers, Jeffrey Dodge and wife, Aren, of Bristow, Va. and Stephen Dodge and wife, Emily, and their two children Fletcher and Maggie of Warrenton, Va.; grandmother, Juanita Dodge of Gainesville, Va., aunt and uncle, Stephanie and Chuck Davis of Lutz, Fla. and their children, Matthew Dodge and wife, Jennifer, and their son, Jack, of Midothian, Va. and Eric M. Dodge of Lutz, Fla.; aunt and uncle, Robert and Lynda Dodge and their daughter, Abby, of Gainesville, Va.; uncle, Stephen W. Dodge and his sons, Adam and Jason Dodge of McLean, Va.; aunt, Susan Rutz of Kansas; her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Chalmers of Manassas, Va. and their children, Dawn Lynn Meiers and family and Duncan Bruce Chalmers, as well as her many loving friends.

Memorial services will be 4 p.m., July 23, 2005 at Prince of Peace Church in Independent Hill, Va.

Memorials may be made to Duncan Ray Chalmers Trust Fund, 8280 Erika Drive, Manassas, VA 20112

Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
