Myre Williams
CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Myre "Marie" Prince Williams, 82, of 208 Linville St., Morganton, N.C., died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998, at her daughter's home in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Colonial Chapel of Sossman Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Riley officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
A native of Burke County, N.C., Mrs. Williams was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she worked in day care.
She was the widow of Charles Wesley Williams.
Surviving are her son, Barry Williams of Rock Hill; her daughter, Betty Thornhill of Charlotte; her brother, Virgil Prince of Morganton; her sister, Floy Causby of Morganton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:30 tonight at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
Memorials may be to the Hospice of Burke County, P.O. Box 1029, Valdese, NC 28690.

Mitchell Bouware
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Mr. Mitchell L. Bouware, 34, died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Arant AME Zion Church in Richburg, with Rev. L. Ellison officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mr. Bouware was a Chester County native. He was self-employed.
Surviving are his mother, Charlotte Bouware, his son, Mitchell Harris of Alexandria; his daughter, Anisha Harris of Alexandria; two brothers, David Bouware of Lancaster and William Bouware of Atlanta; and two sisters, Mary Hyatt of Lancaster and Joan Butcher of Alexandria.
The family will receive friends at the church at 1 p.m. Wednesday and at other times at 1456 Locustwood Drive in Lancaster.
Crawford Funeral Home is in charge.

Julia Combs
FORT MILL - Mrs. Julia Reeves Combs, 73, of Fort Mill died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
A graveside service will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Unity Cemetery, with the Rev. Bob Costner officiating.
Mrs. Combs was a North Wilkesboro, N.C., native. She was the widow of James W. Combs. Retired from Springs Industries, she later owned the Big C Superette and had worked at the Fort Mill Golf Club Grill. She was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are her brother, Conrad Reeves of North Wilkesboro, N.C.; and her sister, Rachel Carter of Sanford, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Whitesell-Wolfe Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Doris Marks, 1197 Doby Court in Fort Mill.

Mary Belle Deal
CLOVER - Mrs. Mary Belle Hull Deal, 72, of 1481 Edge Park Road died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Ramah Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Al Daniel officiating. Burial will be at Beersheba Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Deal was an active member of Ramah Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years. She was a graduate of Hickory Grove High School and was semi-retired from Linda B. Apparel in Clover.
Surviving are her husband, Willie Deal; her son, Willie Deal Jr. of Clover; three daughters, Judy Adkins of Piedmont, Phyllis Adkins of Easley and Janet Daniel of Mint Hill, N.C.; her brother, Howard Hull of Smyrna; her sister, Helen Ramsey of Smyrna; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home in Clover.

William Dowis
FORT MILL - Mr. William B. Dowis, 89, of 300 Springs St. died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998, at his home.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. today at Unity Cemetery, with Dr. Daniel Holloway Jr. and the Rev. Jeannie Bickett officiating.
Mr. Dowis retired as the South Carolina sales representative for Ashe Brick Co. He was a Mason and a Shriner, and served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church and was a deacon and trustee.
Surviving is his wife, Louise Massey Dowis.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Memorials may be made to Unity Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1267, Fort Mill, SC 29716.
Whitesell-Wolfe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Adelee Harvey
ROCK HILL - Mrs. Adelee Pressley Harvey, 71, of 1098 Ebinport Road, Apt. 5C, died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. today at West Main Church of the Nazarene, with the Revs. John Powell, Marion Pressley and Curtis Cameron officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
A native of Great Falls, Mrs. Harvey was a member of West Main Church of the Nazarene, where she was an active member of the Sunday school and Joy Club. She attended Second Baptist Church in Great Falls prior to moving to Rock Hill.
Surviving are her son, Billy Harvey of Taylors; two daughters, Janice Culp of Rock Hill and Kay Dease of Catawba; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Janice Culp, 3149 Lockhaven Road, Rock Hill.
Memorials may be made to West Main Church of the Nazarene, 832 W. Main St., Rock Hill, SC 29730.

CHESTER - Mr. Benjamin "Bop" Killian of 126 Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Drive died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998, at his home.

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Lillian Logan, 80, of 1851 Matthews Drive died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998, at her home.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Greene Funeral Home.

Paul Mathis
ROCK HILL - Mr. Paul Lee William Mathis, 78, of 1780 Allison Circle died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998, at his home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cauthen Funeral Home, with the Revs. Stanley Fuller and David Burton officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
Mr. Mathis was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and was retired from Randolph Yarns. He served in the Army during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Smith Mathis; his son, Paul Arnold Mathis of Rock Hill; his daughter, Iris Holler of Rock Hill; two brothers, Claude Mathis of Newton, N.C., and Ray Mathis of Maiden, N.C.; his sister, Velma Ingle of Lincolnton, N.C.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home, and at other times at the home, 1780 Allison Circle.

Helen Riddle
CLOVER - Mrs. Helen Davis Riddle, 80, of 5830 S.C. 557 died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John Gess officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Riddle was the widow of Robert Pressley Riddle and a lifelong member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Winthrop University in 1938 and retired from Bethel Elementary as a school teacher.
Surviving are her daughter, Betty D. Riddle of Charlotte.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home in Clover.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church, 2445 S.C. 557, Clover, SC 29710.

Louise Schroeder
LAKE WYLIE - Mrs. A. Louise Schroeder, 99, of Lake Wylie died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998, at Ebenezer Nursing Center.
The funeral will be Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery in South Euclid, Ohio.
Mrs. Schroeder was a Cleveland, Ohio, native. She moved to Lake Wylie in 1984, and was a homemaker and member of the Episcopal Church of Our Savior in Rock Hill.
Surviving are two sons, Lawrence D. Schroeder of Lake Wylie and Neil R. Schroeder of Worcester, Mass.; and five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Episcopal Church of Our Savior, 144 Caldwell St., Rock Hill, SC 29730.
Harry & Bryant Co. of Charlotte is serving the family.

Henry Smith
ROCK HILL - The Rev. Henry Elexander Smith, 77, of 1306 Christopher Circle died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Cauthen Funeral Home.

Kaye Carter
ROCK HILL - Mrs. Kaye Dallas Carter of 893 Ragin Lane died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998, at her home.
A memorial service will be 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cauthen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. William Fox officiating.
Born in Rock Hill, Mrs. Carter was the chief financial officer of York County Natural Gas. She was a member of the S.C. Association of CPAs.
Surviving are her husband, Roy B. Carter of Rock Hill; her son, Brad Carter of Atlanta; her parents, Ervin and Evelyn Dallas of Rock Hill; and her brother, Dennis H. Dallas of Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cauthen Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
