Eleonore Erickson

LANCASTER - Mrs. Eleonore T. "Boots" Erickson, 98, formerly of Westminster Towers in Rock Hill, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at Springs Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be in New Jersey. Burial will be in the family plot at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Ga.

A native of Savannah, Mrs. Erickson also resided at Lancaster Convalescent Center and was the widow of Clarence E. "Rebel" Erick-son. She was active in the Cotillion Club and in her camping club. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster, the Lancaster Study Club, Girl Scout Organization and her bridge club. She was a member of Juliet Low's second Girl Scout Troop. She designated several acres of the Riverside Property "Camp Eleonore" for use by Girl Scouts.

Surviving are her daughter, Eleonore E. "Dolly" Moore of Glen Rock, N.J.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Hartley Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, is in charge.

Robin Griffin

YORK - Mr. Robin Derrick Griffin, 30, of 907 E. Liberty St. Apt. 3G died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, at home.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at the Bass Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. John Jenkins officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.

A native of York, Mr. Griffin was a son of Virginia Allen Griffin of York and the late Rufus B. Griffin. He attended the Church of God Union Assembly.

Surviving in addition to his mother are her daughter, Lillie Caitlin Griffin of York; three brothers, Donald Ray Griffin of Rock Hill and Steven Wayne Griffin and Jeffrey Boyd Griffin, both of Dalton, Ga.

Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, South Carolina Chapter, 261-B Riverchase Way, Lexington, SC 29072.

Thelma Hinson

KERSHAW - Mrs. Thelma Lucille Wright Hinson, 78, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, at Fairfield Health Care in Ridgeway.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Center Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Coit Auten officiating. Burial will be at Center Grove Baptist Church cemetery.

A native of Kershaw, Mrs. Hinson was a daughter of the late Henry Baker and Maude Wright. She was the widow of James Clyde Hinson. She was a battery filler at Hermitage Mills. She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Lydia Sunday school class and a leader of vacation Bible school.

Surviving are three daughters, Peggy Ann Sneed of Liberty Hill and Mary Jo Scott and Kathy Hinson, both of Kershaw; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home, Kershaw Chapel, and other times at the home of Kathy Hinson, 203 E. Richland St., Kershaw.

Memorials may be made to Center Grove Baptist Church, 236 Scott Cabin Road, Kershaw, SC 29067.

Hattie Miller

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Hattie B. Miller, formerly of 627 Simpson St., died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000, in New York City.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. today at Rock Grove AME Zion Church, with the Rev. Ralph V. Washington officiating and the Rev. John Brown assisting. Burial will be at Rock Grove AME Zion Church cemetery.

A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late John Brown and Henretta Tillman Brown. She was the widow of Will Miller. She was a member of Rock Grove AME Zion Church. She was a member of the senior choir and the missionaries. She attended public schools of York County.

Surviving are her son, William Miller of New York City; seven grandchildren; four foster-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Robinson Funeral Home is in charge.

Brian Peasley

LANCASTER - Mr. Brian Keith Peasley, 33, of 3962 Happy Trail died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, at Springs Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with Dr. Harold Owens officiating.

A native of Aiken, Mr. Peasley was a son of Jerry F. Peasley and Mable Adams Peasley, both of Lancaster.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, David Peasley and Ken Peasley, both of Lancaster; and his paternal grandmother, Ethel Aschbrenner of Antigo, Wis.

The family will receive friends at the home of his parents, 4241 Buford Circle, Lancaster.

Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1841 N. Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC 29720 or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 10794, Greenville, SC 29603.

Pearl Feaster

DETROIT - Mrs. Pearl Mae Feaster, 89, formerly of Chester, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000.

The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. today at Denton Funeral Home in Chester, with the Rev. Robert Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church cemetery.

A native of Chester County, Mrs. Feaster was a daughter of the late George Johnson and Pearl Pendergrass Johnson. She was the widow of John Feaster. She was a homemaker and was a member of Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ.

Surviving are four sons, John E. Feaster, Samuel Feaster and David L. Feaster, all of Buffalo, N.Y., and Primus Feaster of Detroit; four daughters, Bernice Cornwell and Doris V. Bland of Detroit, Lillie Buckson of Southfield, Mich., and Peggy Holly of Washington, D.C.; 34 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 538 Third St. in Chester.

Ruth Fulmer

LANCASTER - Mrs. Ruth Simmons Fulmer, 80, of 608 Normandy Road died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at Springs Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Lancaster Memorial Park, with the Revs. Needham Williamson and Sam Thomas officiating.

Born in Woodruff, Mrs. Fulmer was the daughter of the late John P. Simmons and Claudia Simmons Simmons. She was the widow of Ralph Fulmer. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology at Winthrop College in 1942. After teaching for several years, she became a homemaker and was an active member of First United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School.

Surviving are her son, John Fulmer of Bethune; a daughter, Jill F. McIsaac of Lancaster; and six grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 608, Lancaster, SC 29721.

Zeddie Moffatte

RICHBURG - Mrs. Zeddie Alberta Macon Moffatte, 91, of Wilora Lake Healthcare Center in Charlotte died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at home.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Zion Church. Visitation will precede the funeral at 10 a.m.

Born in Richburg, Mrs. Moffatte was a daughter of the late William Macon and Mary Macon.

Mrs. Moffatte was educated in Richburg.

Surviving are two sons, William Moffatte of Columbia and Raymond Moffatte of Portland, Ore.; six daughters, Katherine Green of Richmond, Va., Shirley Lewis of Richburg, Fannie Harris of Brooklyn, N.Y., Janet Stanton of Fairfax, Va., Loutrell Johnson of Charlotte and Carol Jones of Philadelphia; two sisters, Mattie Green of Charlotte and Milvoid Stanley of Montrose, Ga.; her brother, J.B. Macon of Washington, D.C.; 33 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Charlotte, 1420 E. Seventh St., Charlotte, NC 28204.

Herbert Bradley

YORK - Mr. Herbert Hoover Bradley, 72, of 8151 Park Place Road died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be 3:30 p.m. today at Bratton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ron Culbertson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

A native of Great Falls, Mr. Bradley was a son of the late Robert and Minnie Bradley. He was retired from the textile industry.

Surviving are three adopted brothers, Lewis McKinney of Miami, Roger McKinney of Clover and Harland McKinney of York; and his adopted sister, Brenda Wine of York.

The family will receive friends at Bratton Funeral Home from 2 to 3:30 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Susan Bohart

CATAWBA - Mrs. Susan A. Bohart, 53, of 2084 Donnybrook Road died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, in Catawba.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Oct. 21 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, with Elijah Peoples officiating.

A native of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Mrs. Bohart was a daughter of the late Roy and Joy Weeks.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Bohart; two sons, Thomas Bohart Jr. of Rock Hill and Robert Bohart of North Charleston; two brothers, Lanny Weeks of Worchester, Mass., and Tracy Weeks of Knoxville, Tenn.; and her sister, Maribeth Barnes of White House, Tenn.

The family will receive friends at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses from 1 p.m. until the service hour.

Linda Cameron

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Linda Collins Cameron, 55, of 1149 Cherokee Ave. died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at home.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bass Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Ashley Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery.

A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Cameron was a daughter of Polly Collins and the late Elliott Collins Sr. She was the widow of Kenneth Cameron. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her son, Michael Cameron of Cherokee County; two daughters, Angela Cameron and Kelle Gibson, both of the home; and her brother, Elliott Collins Jr. of Greenville.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bass Funeral Home and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 119 Charlotte Ave., Rock Hill, SC 29730.
