MARSHVILLE, N.C. - Mrs. Brenda Mae Ingram Malloy Pressley, 55, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Lucy Helms Cemetery.
A native of Mecklenburg County, N.C., Mrs. Pressley was a daughter of Walena Helms Ingram of Carolina Beach, N.C., and the late Johnnie T. Ingram Jr. She worked for Wal-Mart Supercenter.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Thomas Neal Pressley; three sons, Raymond Lee Malloy Jr. of Monroe, N.C., and Elton Tilman Malloy and Everette Neal Pressley, both of Marshville; her brother, Elton E. Ingram of Monroe; two sisters, Diana Norkett of Fort Mill and Connie Register of Carolina Beach; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe.

Sidney Timmons
FORT LAWN - Mr. Sidney "Sid" Kenneth Timmons, 67, of 1260 East Creek Road died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church chapel, with the Rev. Tom Tucker officiating and the Rev. Jim Neal assisting. Burial will be 3 p.m. at Provident Baptist Church cemetery in Kershaw.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Timmons was a son of the late Mark Roy Timmons and Juanita Williams Timmons. He was a retired businessman and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Roselle Roberts Timmons; three sons, Keith Timmons of Richmond Hill, Ga., Randy Timmons of York and Gerald Timmons of Fort Lawn; three daughters, Pam Cook of Roseboro, N.C., and Juanita Catoe and Barbara Kay Catoe, both of Fort Lawn; five brothers, Douglas Timmons of Greer, Waylon Timmons, Joe Lee Timmons, Timmy Timmons and Sammy Timmons, all of Rock Hill; eight sisters, Martha Ann Cook of Camden, Louise Adkins of Forest City, N.C., Claudette Gordon of Monroe, N.C., Hazel Austin of York, and Gail Blackmon, Alyce Totherow, Kay Ayers and Loretta Shiveley, all of Rock Hill; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Annie Bryant
YORK - Mrs. Annie Duncan Bryant, 69, of 609 W. Old Limestone Road died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Union Baptist Church, with the Rev. Allen Price officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Beattie, N.C., Mrs. Bryant was a daughter of the late Walker Duncan and Ethel Queen Duncan. She was a homemaker and was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Bryant; two daughters, Lisa B. Thomasson and Judy B. Rose, both of York; two brothers, Tim Duncan and Walker Duncan Jr., both of Clover; her sister, Clara D. Thomas of Clover; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bratton Funeral Home.

Etta Holder
SIX MILE - Mrs. Etta Mae Ross Holder, 68, of 191 Aaron Drive died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Cannon Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Cedar Hill Holiness Church, with the Revs. Judy Smith, Virgil Merck and Garland Sentell officiating. Burial will be at Kings Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
A native of Pickens County, Mrs. Holder was a daughter of the late James Earl and Essie Mae Blackston Ross. She was a homemaker and was a member of Cedar Hill Holiness Church. She was the widow of Ernest Ralph "Mutt" Holder.
Surviving are five sons, Andy "Hop" Holder and Russell Holder, both of Six Mile, Demps Holder of York, and George Holder and Lonnie Holder, both of Pickens; two daughters, Linda Ramsey of Liberty and Libby Holder of Easley; two brothers, Jimmy Ross and Mack Ross, both of Six Mile; two sisters, Mary "Tootsie" Grant of Pickens and Louise Ellenburg of Easley; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grand-children.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home.

Ellen Hughes
CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Ellen Ervin Hughes, 68, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at home.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. today at McEwen Funeral Service, Charlotte Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Robert C. Monson officiating. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery in Fort Mill.
A native of Lancaster County, Mrs. Hughes was a daughter of the late George Richard Ervin and Essie Shaw Ervin. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Fort Mill and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her son, Michael Hughes of Charlotte; her daughter, Teresa Pannell of Charlotte; two brothers, Gene Ervin and Jimmy Ervin, both of Fort Mill; two sisters, Tootsie Massey and Ilallic Conrad, both of Fort Mill; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Virgil Jenkins
LANCASTER - Mr. Virgil "Landon" Jenkins, 80, of 2125 Old Camden-Monroe Highway in the Tradesville Community died Tues-day, March 27, 2001, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Spring Hill Baptist Church, with the Revs. Brad Threatt and Bennie Barwick officiating. Burial will be at the church Cemetery, with Masonic Rites by the Wannamaker Lodge No. 329.
A native of Lancaster, Mr. Jenkins was a son of the late DeWitt Jenkins and Connie Funderburk Jenkins. He was the widower of Mabry J. Jenkins. He was the former owner of Jenkins Garage and Jenkins Grocery and was the owner of Jenkins Auto Sales. He was retired from the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control. He was a member of Lancaster Commandry of Knights Temple, Scottish Rite and Hejaz Shrine Temple. He was past master of Wannamaker Lodge No. 329. He was amember of Spring Hill Baptist Church, where he was a member of the senior adults and was a former deacon. He served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
Surviving are his daughter, Gloria Brann of Lancaster; his sister, Mary Ella McManus of Lancaster; two grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.

Johnny McCullough
ROCK HILL - Mr. Johnny McCullough, 58, of 1128 Laney Terrace died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia.
The funeral will be 8 tonight at United House of Prayer, with Apostle Fred Gibson officiating and Elder Weddington assisting. Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at Foundation AME Zion Church.
A native of York County, Mr. McCullough was a son of the late Andrew Tillman McCullough and Maggie McCullough. He worked for Allen Fence Co. and was a member of the United House of Prayer.
Surviving are three brothers, Sammie A. McCullough, Harry L. McCullough and Willie Louis McCullough, all of Rock Hill; four sisters, Beatrice Long and Annie Mea Edwards, both of Rock Hill, Rosetta Patton of Far Rockaway, N.Y., and Viola McCullough of Bronx, N.Y.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at United House of Prayer.

Linda McLeod
YORK - Mrs. Linda McLeod, 87, of White Oak Manor died Monday, March 26, 2001.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Charlotte, with the Rev. Earl Pennell officiating. Visitation will follow.
A native of Claxton, Ga., Mrs. McLeod was a daughter of the late John Norton Smith and Minnie Maude Smith. She was the widow of Harry McLeod.
Surviving are her daughter, Tine Renea Miller of Battle Ground, Wash.; three sisters, Corinne S. Molter of Lake Wylie, Hilda S. Lee of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., and Lillian Johnson of Boone, N.C.

Thelma Williams
BEAUFORT - Mrs. Thelma Kanipe Williams, 77, of Possum Hill Road died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Catawba Baptist Church cemetery in Rock Hill.
A native of Gaston County, N.C., Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Henry W. Kanipe and Mollie J. Clarke Kanipe. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. She was the widow of Dallas Williams.
Surviving are three daughters, Saundra DeRosier of Racine, Wis., and Robbie Handrinos and Cindy Barnier, both of Beaufort; her stepson, Don Williams of Rock Hill; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her great-great-grandchild.

William Shute
LANCASTER - Mr. William Howell "Will" Shute, 52, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at home.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Union Baptist Church, with the Rev. Doug Humphries officiating.
A native of Lancaster County, Mr. Shute was a son of the late Ray Hinson Shute Sr. and Mamie Bernice Hegler Shute. He was a former truck driver and was a member of Union Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Marines in the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah McManus Shute of Lancaster; his daughter, Jennifer Hinson of Lancaster; three brothers, Ray H. Shute Jr. and Randy Shute, both of Lancaster, and Jerry T. Shute of Rock Hill; his sister, Virginia "Jenny" Whitaker of Lancaster; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Mahaffey Funeral Home.

CHESTER - Mrs. Judy Webb of 826 Armory Road died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at home.
Arrangements will be announced by Christopher King's Funeral Home, 703 Old York Road.

H. Wayne Wade
CARLISLE - Mr. H. Wayne Wade, 51, of 5017 Woods Ferry Road died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church, with the Revs. David Sealy and Dale Roddey officiating.
A native of Chester, Mr. Wade was a son of the late Claude Jackson Wade and Kathleen McNinch Wade. He was a retired shop foreman at Shugart Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and graduated from Chester High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah T. Wade; his daughter, Brooke Wade of Carlisle; and two sisters, Claudia Wade Lee of Chester and Glenda Wade Jones of Carlisle.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Barron Funeral Home.

Lottie Wade
AIKEN - Mrs. Lottie Faye Barry Wade, 90, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. Jim Hope and John M. Warren Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Aiken Memorial Gardens.
A native of York County, Mrs. Wade was a daughter of the late Thomas Samuel Barry and Eva Jackson Barry. She was the widow of Francis C. Wade. She was a 1931 graduate of Winthrop College. She taught school for 31 years, many of those at Leavelle McCampbell High School, as well as the Aiken High School summer program and Aiken Adult Education. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and was an active "Meals on Wheels" volunteer for 11 years.
Surviving are her son, Charles Barry Wade of Aiken; her daughter, Betsy Wade Greene of Aiken; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave. S.W. Aiken.
