Marion Lewis Sr.
ROCK HILL - Mr. Marion Craig Lewis Sr., 70, of 3250 Celanese Road, died Friday, April 6, 2001, at his home.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with the Revs. Donald Scoggins and Ralph Webber officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Lowrys.
A native of Chester, Mr. Lewis was a son of the late Earl and Lula Good Lewis. He was the former owner of the Lewis Lincoln-Mercury automobile dealership in Rock Hill and was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Joann McKay Lewis of the home; his son, Marion C. "Doc" Lewis of Sumter; four sisters, Margaret Atkinson and Earline Lewis, both of Chester, Ann Webber of Louisiana, and Rose Bailey of Spartanburg; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends after the service and at the home.

William Gardner Sr.
VERO BEACH, Fla. - Mr. William Richard Gardner Sr., 60, of 485 53rd Square and formerly of Rock Hill died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Fla.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Memorial Park in Rock Hill, with the Rev. Mike Black officiating.
A native of York, Mr. Gardner was a son of the late William Garvin Gardner and Marie Thompson Gardner Jones. He was self-employed in the citrus business in Fort Pierce, Fla.
Surviving are his son, Rick Gardner of McConnells; his daughter, Terri Laffoon of Birmingham, Ala.; his brother, Jack Gardner of Savannah, Ga.; two stepsons, Joe Stonecipher and Ty Stonecipher, both of Fort Pierce; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, Rock Hill.

Robert Lee Seaton
YORK - Mr. Robert Lee Seaton, 63, of 904 Sierra Road, died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at his home.
A memorial service will be held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, at a later date.
A native of Cedar Rapids, Mr. Seaton was a son of Nilah Seaton of Marion, Iowa, and the late Paul Henry Seaton. He was a project and construction manager. He was employed by Cognis Corp.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his son, Brad Seaton of Spokane, Wash.; two daughters, Robin Hellmer of Wayzata, Minn., and Dawn Wettem, of Red Wing, Minn.; his brother, Paul F. Seaton of Shellsburg, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the one's choice.
Bratton Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

SHARON - Mr. Von Cecil Lavon Sigmon, 61, of 2977 Pratt St. died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at his home.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel.

Tom Robbins Sr.
HICKORY GROVE - Mr. Tom B. Robbins Sr. of 211 Hopewell Road died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
Arrangements will be announced by Bratton Funeral Home.

Beuna Bailey
LOCKHART - Mrs. Beuna Plexico Bailey, 94, of 2136 Pinckney Road, Chester, died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Alan Quarles officiating.
A native of Cherokee County, Mrs. Bailey was a daughter of the late Alexander Darby and Joanna Lowry Plexico. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and was a member of Lockhart United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Roy Bailey.
Surviving are two daughters, Bobbie "Ducky" Policari of Columbia and Violet Thomas of Chester; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home in Union.

Martha Bailey
CHESTER - Martha Neal Bailey, 86, of 979 Holmes Road died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Oakmont Nursing Center in Union.
Arrangements will be announced by Kings Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery St., Chester.

Johnsie Garner
GAFFNEY - Johnsie Bell Garner, 81, of 1768 Ford Road died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
The service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Blacksburg Church of God in Blacksburg, with the Rev. James Clark officiating. Burial will be at Clingman Memorial Gardens.
A native of Gaston County, N.C., Mrs. Garner was a daughter of the late Van David and Almedia Queen Smith.
Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Garner of the home; her son, Robert "Bud" Garner of Gaffney; her stepson, Gayland Garner of Gaffney; two daughters, Jennie Painter and Cheryl Putnam, both of Gaffney; her stepdaughter, Ann Shelton of Blacksburg; her brother, Robert Smith of Fort Mill; her sister, Mamie Hughes of Clover; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 tonight at White Columns Funeral Service, Blacksburg, and at other times at the home.

Keith Govro
YORK - Keith Wayne Govro, 14, of 971 Perla Road died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia.
Arrangements will be announced by Bass Funeral Home.

Harold Jordan Sr.
CHESTER - Mr. Harold Wayne Jordan Sr., 57, of 1664 Chester Highway died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Barron Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Mickey Barnes officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
A native of Concord, N.C., Mr. Jordan was a son of the late John Bunyan and Evelyn Winecoff Jordan. He was a graduate of Chester High School, attended Faith Baptist Church and was retired as a plant manager from McClancy's Seasoning Company.
Surviving are his son, Harold Wayne Jordan Jr. of Mooresville, N.C.; his daughter, Charlene J. Callan of Greenville; two sisters, Nancy Wingate and Ann Jordan, both of Chester; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Barron Funeral Home.

Ollie McCollum
ROCK HILL- Mr. Ollie McCollum of 303 Barnes St. died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel of Remembrance, with the Rev. W.W. Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Barber Memorial Cemetery.
A native of Leeds, Mr. McCollum was a son of the late Arthur McCollum and Mammie Coleman.
Surviving are two brothers, Frazier McCollum of New Jersey and John McCollum of Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home.

Archie Neill
LANCASTER - Mr. Archie N. Neill, 85, of 1905 Potter Road died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Lancaster Convalescent Center.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. today at Unity ARP Church, with Dr. Guy H. Smith officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Lancaster, Mr. Neill was a son of the late John Neill and Blanche Hinson Neill. He was a retired pipefitter for Daniel Construction Company. He was a Mason with the Camp Creek Masonic Lodge No. 317 and a member of Unity ARP Church. He was the widower of Irene Flynn Neill.
Surviving are his sons, Alvin Neill and Gary Neill, both of Lancaster; his brother, Henry D. Neill of Lancaster; his sister, Lucille N. Stogner of Lancaster; and two grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to Unity ARP Church Building Fund, 3495 Unity Church Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.

Dorothy Rauch
ROCK HILL - Mrs. Dorothy S. Rauch, of 1089 Evergreen Circle died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at Eden Gardens.
Funeral services will be announced by Bass Funeral Home.
A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Rauch was a daughter of the late John Benjamin Sealy and Lillian Hanks Sealy. She was a graduate of Winthrop Training School and Winthrop College. She was a Campus Christian Life representative for the Presbyterian Church at Winthrop College for 10 years and was the director of alumni affairs at Winthrop College from 1966 to 1980. There is an Alumni Association scholarship at Winthrop University in her name.
Surviving are her brother, John B. Sealy, of Greensboro, N.C.; and two sisters, Jean S. Mitchell and Rebecca S. Barry, both of Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends after the service in the church.

Tom Robbins, Sr.
HICKORY GROVE - Mr. Tom B. Robbins Sr., 80, of 2711 Hopewell Road died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church in Sharon, with the Revs. Kyle Sims, Ray Long, John Love, Gloria Robbins Davis and James Russell officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Hickory Grove, Mr. Robbins was a son of James Edward Robbins and Mary Dowdle Robbins. He retired as co-owner of Robbins Construction Company. He was a farmer and a member of the Woodmen of the World/V.F.W. Walt Blackmon Post. He was a member of Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church, where he was Elder Emeritus for 51 years.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Russell Robbins of Hickory Grove; two sons, Tom B. Robbins Jr. and Blaine P. Robbins, both of Hickory Grove; two daughters, Nan Robbins Mitchell of York and Rebecca Robbins Canipe of McConnells; two brothers, John Robbins of Charleston and Faye Robbins of Hickory Grove; his sister, Mary Nan R. Stafford of Rock Hill; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 7 to 9 tonight at Bratton Funeral Home in York.

Cecil Sigmon
SHARON - Mr. Cecil L. "Von" Sigmon, 61, of 2977 Pratt St. died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shady Grove United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Larry Nunn and Linda Dunn officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Lock-hart, Mr. Sigmon was a son of Mary Jo Beard Sigmon Griffin of Sharon and the late Carlton Sigmon. He was a retired carpenter and brick mason. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Maxine Brown Sigmon of the home; two brothers, John Dean Sigmon of Boyton Beach, Fla., and Lanny Dewayne Sigmon of Sharon; and his stepfather, Glenn Griffin of Sharon.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 tonight at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel and at other times at the home.

Jessie Simmons
FORT MILL - Mrs. Jessie Watford Simmons, 88, of 566 S. Sutton Road died Friday, April 6, 2001, at Beverly Health Care in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at the Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Ronnie Fite officiating and the Revs. Mickey Smith, Robert Cook, Scotty Gib-son and Rick Wilson assisting. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Fort Mill, Mrs. Simmons was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and was retired from Springs Industries. She was the widow of Cleveland Simmons.
Surviving are her son, Ray Simmons of Fort Mill; her brother, Jim Watford of Fort Mill; two sisters, Ruth Fite and Vermell Honeycutt, both of Fort Mill; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Memorials may be made to the Fort Mill Church of the Nazarene Building Fund, 109 Harris St., Fort Mill, SC 29715.
