SAVANNAH, Ga. - Mrs. Essie Lone Deloach, 96, formerly of Chester, died Monday, April 9, 2001.
A graveside service will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at Chester Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Burt Watson officiating.
A native of Anderson, Mrs. Deloach worked at Springs Industries Inc. and was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William D. Deloach of Savannah; her daughter, Violet G. Wright of Savannah; her sister, Leola Pigott of Fort Myers, Fla.; her granddaughter; four great-grandchildren; and her great-great-grandson.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Wright's Home for Funerals Inc. in Chester.
Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.

George Flanagan
CLOVER - Mr. George Robert Flanagan, 77, of 150 Ridge Road died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, N.C.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bowling Green Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Bob Abel officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of York County, Mr. Flanagan was a son of the late Robert Speight Flanagan and Merle Riddle Flanagan. He was an U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He retired from Bowling Green Spinning and was a member of Bowling Green Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma Deal Flanagan; two stepsons, David Robinson of Simpsonville and Gerald Robinson of Clover; his stepdaughter, Kattie Pernick of Clover; his brother, Richard M. Flanagan of Lake Charles, La.; his sister, Margaret F. Newton of Bowling Green; and two grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Bowling Green Presbyterian Church, 250 Ridge Road, Clover, SC 29710.

Keith Govro
YORK - Keith Wayne Govro, 14, of 971 Perla Road, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Adnuh United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Leonhardt officiating.
A native of St. Louis, Keith was a son of Everett Keith Govro and Erica Lannette Wilson. He was a student at Saluda Trail Middle School and was of the Christian faith.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his paternal grandparents, Verlon and Lorraine Govro of Festus, Miss.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at

Benny Love
YORK - Mrs. Catherine "Benny" Glenn Love, 67, of 1680 Paraham Road died Monday, April 9, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Thomas B. McPhail officiating. Burial will be at Beersheba Presbyterian Church cemetery.
A native of York County, Mrs. Love was a daughter of the late David Glenn and Irene Jenkins Glenn. She was a member of Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church and was a retired second-grade school teacher.
Surviving are her husband, Hugh M. Love of York; two daughters, Cathy Love and Evelyn Love Ball, both of York; her brother, Morris Glenn of Rock Hill; her sister, Grace Glenn Hope of York; and her grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bratton Funeral Home.

Rebecca Moore
YORK - Mrs. Rebecca Shillinglaw Moore, 88, of 197 Arrow Road died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at York ARP Church, with the Rev. Tony Grant officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Gastonia, N.C.
A native of York, Mrs. Moore was a daughter of the late Edward M. Shillinglaw and Margaret Ormand Shillinglaw. She retired from nursing in Gastonia. She was the widow of Guy Carroll Moore Sr.
Surviving are two sons, Guy Carroll Moore Jr. of York and Donald Edward Moore of Winston-Salem, N.C.; two daughters, Rebecca Moore Tyser of Winston-Salem, and Sarah Moore Moore of Wesley Chapel, N.C.; her brother, Phillip O. Shillinglaw of Summerville; her sister, Nell Norris of York; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at York Funeral Home and at other times at home.

Bruce Richardson
ROCK HILL - Mr. Bruce Gordon "Bubba" Richardson, 71, of 754 Cambridge Circle died Monday, April 9, 2001, at home.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Friday at Friendship United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David C. Taylor officiating. Burial will be private.
A native of Whiteville, N.C., Mr. Richardson was a son of the late Bruce Averitt Richardson and Margaret Simmons Richardson. He was a retired wood yard operator at Bowater-Carolina, with 33 years of service. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge No. 385. He was a U.S. Army disabled veteran of the Korean War. He was awarded the Bronze Star for Bravery and the Purple Heart as a member of the Seventh Cavalry.
Surviving are his wife, Betty M. Richardson; two sons, Eugene Slade Best of Germany and Bruce Gregory Richardson of Rock Hill; two daughters, Mary McNeal Hutchinson and Susan Richardson Murphy, both of Rock Hill; two brothers, Maurice B. Richardson of Morehead City, N.C., and Billy Wayne Richardson of Fort Myers, Fla.; his sister, Lucy Richardson Leggett of Richmond, Va.; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home and after the service.

Joe Shugart
ROCK HILL - Mr. Joe Gaston Shugart, 80, of 363 Chestnut St. died Monday, April 9, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Grandview Memorial Park, with the Rev. David C. Taylor officiating.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Shugart was a son of the late Gip Lee Shugart and Sallie Wrenn Parrish Shugart. He retired from Rock Hill Body Co., with 39 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanette Setzer Shugart; two sons, Ronald Shugart and James Robert "Jim" Shugart, both of Rock Hill; and his grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel and other times at home.

Elisha Stallworth
ROCK HILL - The Rev. Elisha "Cadillac" Stallworth, 76, of 460 Fewell St. died Friday, April 6, 2001, at Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia.
The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Nebo AME Zion Church in Richburg, with Bishop Joseph Johnson officiating. Burial will be Saturday at Stall-worth Cemetery in Atmore, Ala.
A native of Evergreen, Ala., the Rev. Stallworth was a son of the late Mark Stallworth and Elsie Howard Stallworth. He joined Hamilton Ridge Baptist Church in Evergreen. He moved from to Atmore, Ala., where he joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a member of Mt. Nebo AME Zion Church in Richburg. He attended Escambia County High School. He served 2 years in the U.S. Army. He was a retired concrete finisher.
Surviving are his wife, Ora Dee Page Stallworth; two sons, Andrew Scott of Los Angeles and Clifton Caldwell of Richburg; three daughters, Evangelist Ernestine Stallworth Moore of Rock Hill, Felisha Stallworth of Richburg and Loreath Fox of Los Angeles; his adopted daughter, Evelyn Massey of Rock Hill; four brothers, the Rev. Willie Stallworth of Columbia, the Rev. Paul Stallworth of Atmore, Henry Stallworth of Waco, Texas, and James Stallworth of Rock Hill; three sisters, the Rev. Julia Gomez and Iva Farmer, both of Lancaster, Pa., and Alice Shell of Pensacola, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Parker Funeral Home.

James Broome
LANDO - Mr. James Olin "Big O" Broome, 52, of Box 104 died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lando Cemetery, with the Rev. Sam Warwick officiating.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Broome was a son of Ross Broome Sr. and the late Carrie Mae Ramsey Broome. He was the owner and operator of Big O's Lounge in Lesslie and was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving in addition to his father are three brothers, Martin Eric Broome Sr. of Rock Hill, Ross Lee Broome Jr. of Lando and Jerry Wayne "Winky" Broome of Edgemoor.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel and other times at the home of his brother, Jerry "Winky" Broome, 4281 Edgeland Road.

Harold Brown
GREENWOOD - Mr. Harold McIlwain Brown, 78, of Ashley House and formerly of York died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Self Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at Hodges Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Robert Piephoff officiating. Burial will be at Oakbrook Memorial Park.
A native of Abbeville County, Mr. Brown was a son of the late Edwin Brown and Alma McIlwain Brown. He graduated from Queens College in Charlotte. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and served as a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was a Realtor at Peery Realty, Inc. in Roanoke, Va. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Roanoke and was a member and officer in the Kiwanis Club in Salem, Va.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Benfield Brown; his son, Stephen B. Brown of Abbeville; his daughter, Kathryn B. Ramsperger of Rockville, Md.; his brother, Richard E. Brown of Greenwood; his sister, Florence B. Haddon of Abbeville; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday in the Hodges Presbyterian Church social hall.
The family will be at the home of his sister, Florence B. Haddon, 1363 Klugh Road, Abbeville.
The body may be viewed at Blyth Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Friday.

FORT MILL - Mrs. Estelle Potts, 72, of 307 Joe Lewis St. died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill.
Arrangements will be announced by Parker Funeral Home.

Margarette Richards
CAMDEN - Miss Margarette Richards, 99, of Springdale Village died Wednesday, April 11, 2001.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church, with Drs. Gene Rollins and William F. Summers officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Liberty Hill, Miss Richards was a daughter of the late Gov. John Gardiner Richards and Bettie Workman Richards. She graduated from Winthrop College. She studied at Chatauqua Music Center in New York and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. She taught piano at Winthrop College and Queens College in Charlotte. She taught at Columbia College in Columbia for 37 years.
Surviving are two sisters, Jean Richards Roddey of Rock Hill and Johng'y Richards McCaskill of Clinton.

GAFFNEY - Ms. Irene Painter Gossett, 72, of 131 Great Meadows Road died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at Brookview Healthcare Center.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Friday at Shuford-Hatcher Chapel, with Dr. Paul Noe and the Rev. Stuart Kersey officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.
A native of Gaffney, Mrs. Gossett was a daughter of the late William June Painter and Estelle Godfrey Painter. She was a retired textile employee and was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Wells R. Gossett; three sons, Jeffrey Lynn Gossett of Rock Hill, Timothy D. Gossett of Gaffney and Ross Wells Gossett Jr. of Blacksburg; two daughters, Lisa Gossett Smiley of Gaffney and Nicole Marie Gossett of the home; two brothers, James Walter Painter of Gaffney and Earl Painter of Bowie, Md.; two sisters, Nell Painter Blanton and Evelyn Painter Farish, both of Gaffney; and nine grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home.

RIVERDALE, Ga. - Madison Adia McKie, infant daughter of Kevin Tyrone McKie and Janet Barnet McKie, died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, Ga.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her brother, Tyrone Billingsly; her sister, McKenzy McKie; her paternal grandfather, Freddie McKie of Rock Hill; her paternal grandmother, Sollene McKie of Rock Hill; her maternal grandfather, Albert Barnett of Atlanta; her maternal grandmother, Louise Barnett of Atlanta; her great-grandfather, Willie Allen of Newnan, Ga.; and her great-grandmother, Brennice Allen of Newnan, Ga.
