Lola Cooper
ROCK HILL - Mrs. Lola Duncan Cooper, 54, of 2426 Ebenezer Road died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at home.
The funeral will be 7 p.m. Friday at Faith Family Christian Center, 3483 Homestead Road. Burial will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, W.Va.
The family will receive friends after the funeral until 9 p.m. Friday.
Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel is in charge.

Virginia Johnson
CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Virginia Miller Johnson, 99, of Charlotte died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at home.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Harry and Bryant Chapel in the Oaks, with the Rev. Mary Katherine Robinson officiating. A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Laurelwood Cemetery in Rock Hill.
A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of the late William Walter Miller Sr. and Adeline Williams Miller. She graduated from Winthrop College in 1922 and received her master's degree in English from Duke University in 1937.
She served as dean of students at Queens College from 1937 to 1940. She taught in the public schools in Charlotte for 26 years at Central High School and Myers Park High School. Between school sessions, she conducted tours for Thomas Tours of Rock Hill. She organized and conducted the first Girl Scouts troop in Rock Hill. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte and was the widow of Howard Agnew and Otis M. Johnson.
Surviving are her daughter, Louise Agnew Stollman; her sister, Adelaide Miller Kimball; two stepdaughters, Nell Johnson Collins and Marguerite Johnson Muse; and three stepgrandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Harry and Bryant Co., Charlotte.
Memorials may be made to the Television Ministry of First Presbyterian Church, 200 W. Trade St., Charlotte, NC 28202.

Edward Moss Sr.
CHARLOTTE - Mr. Edward Watha Moss Sr., formerly of Rock Hill, died Tuesday, June, 5, 2001, at home.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hankins & Whittington Dilworth Chapel, with the Rev. Joe Denson officiating.
Mr. Moss was a son of the late Brady Moss and Mattie Dover Moss. He was a veteran of World War II, serving three years in the U.S. Navy.
He was a retired supervisor of data processing for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. After his retirement, he worked for Burns and Spartan Security companies. He was a member of Southview Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Zora Fields Moss; his son, Edward W. Moss Jr. of York; his daughter, Shirley Moss Lineberger of Rock Hill; two sisters, Virginia Hefner of Jacksonville, Fla., and Betty Johnson of Rock Hill; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southview Baptist Church, 100 Ann Marie Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217.

Margaret Owens
CHESTER - Mrs. Margaret Hudson Owens, 83, of 2814 Armenia Road died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at Chester County Hospital.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Armenia United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Fant Steele officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of Chester County, Mrs. Owens was a daughter of the late Will Jeff Hudson and Ella Mae Grant Hudson. She was a graduate of Chester County schools and was a retired sales clerk at Belk.
Surviving are her husband, John H. Owens; her son, John A. Owens of Spartanburg; two daughters, Dianne Page of Fayetteville, Ga., and Julia McCluney of Chester; her sister, Lola Jones of York; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Barron Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Armenia United Methodist Church, 2840 Armenia Road, Chester.

Myrtle O'Brien
LANCASTER - Mrs. Myrtle Hancock O'Brien, 73, of 1004 Hudson St., died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at Springs Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at First ARP Church. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Eastside Cemetery in Rockingham, N.C.
A native of Lancaster County, Mrs. O'Brien was a daughter of the late George Washington Hancock and Maggie Sims Hancock. She was a member of First ARP Church and was the widow of Dennis Avery O'Brien Sr.
Surviving are three sons, Dennis O'Brien Jr. of Laurinburg, N.C., Danny O'Brien of Lancaster and David O'Brien of Lancaster; her sister, Flonnie Mills of Lancaster; and her grandson.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home Lancaster Chapel and at other times at the home.

Vada Reeves
MIDWEST CITY, Okla. - Mrs. Vada Allie Reeves, 86, of 10605 Quail Run died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at home.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Midwest Boulevard Christian Church, with the Rev. Charles Ragland officiating. Burial will be at Arlington Memory Gardens.
A native of Lancaster, Mrs. Reeves was a daughter of the late Otis Coy Adams and Alice Shute Adams.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel Reeves; her daughter, Mary McComb of Midwest City; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Obie Morrow
GREAT FALLS - Mr. Obie Thomas Morrow, 50, of 21 Hill St. died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at Chester County Hospital in Chester.
A graveside service will be 4 p.m. Friday at Greenlawn Cemetery.
A native of Chester County, Mr. Morrow was a son of Andrew Morrow and Evelyn Almond Morrow. He was retired from J.P. Stevens and was a member of Second Baptist Church. He attended school in Great Falls.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Friday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home.

Roger Hall
LAKE WYLIE - Mr. Roger Dewayne Hall, 42, of 5230 Willow Pond Road died Thurs-day, June 7, 2001, at home.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Clover, with the Rev. David Stanford officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Charlotte.
A native of Charlotte, Mr. Hall was a son of Peggy Hargett Cox and the late Daniel Raymond Hall Sr. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Hall worked as an aircraft mechanic for First Union Corp. in Charlotte.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Sandy Bacot Hall; three sons, Adam Hall, Levi Becot and Jacob Hall, all of the home; three daughters, Constance Bacot, Chevon Bacot and Fallon Hall, all of the home; his stepmother, Vicki Hall of Hagerstown, Md.; four brothers, David Hall and Terry Hinson, both of Hagerstown, John Hall of Gastonia, N.C., and Allen Hinson of Belmont, N.C.; and five sisters, Tonda Galant of Charlotte, Linda Penley of Belmont, Becky Westbrook of Mount Holly, N.C., Nancy Miller of Chambersburg, Pa., and Robin Poole of Ashton, Md.

Dorothy Jordan
CHARLOTTE - Ms. Dorothy Louise Jordan, 55, of 13300 York Center Drive died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at Carolinas Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Union Baptist Church in Newport, with the Rev. Ronnie Baxter officiating and the Revs. Derrick Belton and Gerald Searles assisting. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of York County, Ms. Jordan was a daughter of the late Jessie Jordan and Susie H. Jordan. She was a customer service representative and was a 1964 graduate of Emmett Scott High School in Rock Hill. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Newport. She was a member of the hymn choir and served as secretary. She was a member of the Visitor Welcoming Committee and was a Gold Plus member.
Surviving is her brother, Charlie Patton of Philadelphia.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Parker Funeral Home.

Demario June
ROCK HILL - Mr. Demario Marquez June, 24, of 837 Lucas St. died Monday, June 4, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at New Home AME Zion Church in York, with the Rev. Dianne Johnson officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
A native of York County, Mr. June was a son of Eddie Burris of York and Rosenna June Boger of Rock Hill. He worked at Burger King and was a member of Covenant Holiness Baptist Church. He was a member of the YMCA and was a graduate of Northwestern High School.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Maurice Rhinehart of Rock Hill and Richard Mobley Spratt Jr. of Atlanta; his stepfather, Alan Boger of Rock Hill; his paternal grandmother, Willie Mae Burris of York; and his stepgrandmother, Willie Frances Boger Hill of Spindale, N.C.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother.

John Sells
CLOVER - Mr. John Douglas Sells, 58, of 6070 Tiger Trail died Friday, June 8, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly in Lake Wylie, with the Rev. Lewis Gunn officiating.
A native of Jefferson, N.C., Mr. Sells was a son of the late Argel E. Sells and Cathaline Sells. He was a general contractor and was a member of Lake Wylie Christian Assembly.
Surviving are his wife, Susan Neil Sells of Clover; two sons, Robert Sells of Gastonia, N.C., and Chris Sells of Clover; his brother, Jim Sells of Monroe, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Kelly Pappas of Clover and Cindy Scoggins of Lowell, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly.

RICHBURG - Mrs. Margaret Elise Campbell Turbeville, 75, of 3889 Great Falls Highway died Friday, June 8, 2001, at Palmetto Baptist Medical Center in Columbia.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Lando Cemetery, with Dr. Richard Harrison officiating.
A native of Union, Mrs. Turbeville was self-employed and attended schools of Union and Chester counties. She was the widow of Joseph Leroy Turbeville.
Surviving are her daughter, Beth Ellen Boswell of Edge-moor; and her brother, H.T. Campbell of Hawaii.
