Memorials may be made to the New Market United Methodist Church, 1909 W. Old Camden Hwy., Hartsville, SC 29550.

Mr. Watkins died Wednesday, April 2, 2003. Born in Darlington County, SC, he was a son of the late Major Aaron and Julia Mobley Watkins. He was a member of New Market United Methodist Church, a veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a retired used car dealer. He was a Shriner and past president of the Jolly Jeepsters. He was also a member of Hartsville Masonic Lodge # 173 and Moose Lodge # 1770.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Keith A. and Janet Watkins of China Grove, NC; daughters, Theresa W. Quintero of Myrtle Beach, SC, Wanda Watkins of Pineville, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Lukie and Sue Watkins of Hartsville, SC; granddaughter, Lauren Watkins.

Funeral services for Eliza Pauline Cassidy Hawkins, 96, will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 29, 2003 at Chapel of Brown Pennington Atkins Funeral Home. The Rev. Mrs. Hawkins, widow of Harley Hawkins, died Thursday, March 27, 2003. Born in Chesterfield Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late Gilliam C. and Eliza Brown Cassidy. She was a member of Kelleytown Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, M. L. "Buddy" and Rebecca Hawkins of Orangeburg, SC, W. C. Hawkins of Summerton, SC, Heyward C. Hawkins of Las Vegas, NV; daughters and sons-in-law, Gwen B. and Charlie Enzor of Murrells Inlet, SC, Sadie H. Kelley of Hartsville, SC, Eulysis and James M. Mr. Webster died Thursday, April 3, 2003. Born in Dillon Co., SC, he was a son of the late Luther David and Flossie Harrelson Webster. Mr. Webster was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was very active in the church, and enjoyed meeting new people. Mr. Webster was a past member of the Lions Club, Masonic Lodge, and the Shrine. He served in the United Stated Navy.

Surviving are his wife, Emma Webster of Hartsville, SC; son and daughter-in-law, Alex M. and Cindy Webster, Jr. of Richmond Hill, GA; daughter, Julie Webster Shoemake of Bethune, SC; sister, Rosa Lee Webster Hardy of Latta, SC; brother and sister-in-law, Colonel and Nell Webster of Chatsworth, GA; 6 grandchildren; 5 great - grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Luther Webster, his mother Flossie Webster, his brother David Webster, his sister Sara Brown, and his daughter Mary Webster.

Mr. Northcutt died Tuesday, March 25, 2003. Born in Darlington Co., SC, he was a son of the late Timothy Benjamin and Carrie King Northcutt. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church, and served in the Army during WWII, receiving the Silver Star and the Purple Heart. With a life - long love of car dealing and fellowship, Bob was a regular welcomed face at Clanton’s Auto Sales for over 50 years.

Mrs. Hill, widow of Jessie L. Hill, died Saturday, April 19, 2003. Born in Darlington Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late George and Daisy Hill Yarborough, Sr. She was a member of Hartsville Advent Christian Church and was retired from Nytronics with 30 years of service. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Terry Lee and Wanda Hill, Ricky M. Hill, all of Hartsville, SC, Chris A. and Paige Hill of Cheraw, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Diane H. and Jimmy Kelly of Hartsville, SC; sisters, Emmie V. "Blackie" Yarborough and Helen Y. Mrs. Dickinson, widow of George M. Dickinson, died Sunday, April 20, 2003. Born in Bamburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Simeon Wesley and Mattie Kinard Sandifer. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, the Alter Guild, Amity, and Rosa Lee Circle. She was a graduate of Winthrop College and taught at Augusta Circle Elementary School, Greenville, SC and also many years at Thornwell Elementary School, Hartsville, SC. She was a graduate of Winthrop College. She was a former member of Pine and Lake Garden Club, Thursday Study Club, DAR, and UDC.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, George Moye and Lynn Dickinson of Fort Mill, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Martha Moye and Chandler Peel; grandchildren, Wesley Peel, Jonathan Peel, Rebecca Dickinson, Thomas Dickinson; great - grandchildren, Chandler Peel II, Caroline Peel. She was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Davis.
