Mrs. Margaret P. Inabinet, 84, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at Lila Doyle Nursing Center in Seneca, following an extended illness.

Funeral service arrangements will be announced later by Dukes-Harley Funeral Home of Orangeburg.

Flossie Thompson Jackson -- Woodbridge, Va.

Flossie Thompson Jackson died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, in Woodbridge, Va.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at New Light United Methodist Church on Highway 4 in Orangeburg, with Pastor Anthony Whay officiating.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Dec. 3, in Stafford Memorial Park, Stafford, Va.

Brandon Lee -- West Columbia

Brandon Lee, 13, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at First Baptist Church of Lexington, Barr Road, with interment to follow in Lexington Memorial cemetery.

Brandon was born in Lexington, the son of Randolph Lee and Deidra Goodson Nelson. He was a student at Lexington Middle School and dreamed of one day being an Air Force fighter pilot. He played baseball for the Pineview Youth Baseball League and Midlands Baseball. He was an excellent artist and attended Cornerstone Community Church.

He is survived by his father and mother, Randy and Victoria Lee of West Columbia; mother and father, Deidra and Joseph Nelson of Bowman; brothers, Cody and Dustin Lee of West Columbia, and Trace McLaughlin of Bowman; sister, Madison McLaughlin of Bowman; grandparents, Wendell and Gladys Lee of Gilbert, Lisa and Roland Panter of Lexington, Michael and Debbie Butler of Gilbert and Ronnie and Kim Smith of Buffalo Valley, Tenn.; grandmothers, Vicki Teryek of Lincolnton, N.C., and Laura Nichols of Cope; grandfather, Ronnie Browning of Pelion; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Homes, Lexington Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brandon Lee Memorial Fund, Carolina First, c/o Carey and Jeannette Farr, 2225 Raven Trail, West Columbia, SC 29169, or the Farmers and Merchant Bank of Bowman, c/o Sue Davis, 7002 Charleston Highway, Bowman, SC 29018.

Isiah (Bu daddy) Mack -- Pleasantville, N.J.

Isiah (Bu daddy) Mack, 75, of Pleasantville, N.J., died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at Adsealon Memorial Hospital in Pleasantville.

He was born on March 5, 1928.

Local arrangements are being handled by Bethea's Funeral Home of Orangeburg.

Family and friends may call at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Wilhelmenia (Isiah) Sistrunk, 1839 McMichael St., Orangeburg; at the residence of his brother, Dea Herbret (Jennie) Mack, 756 Langley Road, Orangeburg; and at the funeral home.

Mrs. Marion D. Syfrett--Orangeburg

Mrs. Marion Davis Syfrett, 73, of 1127 Chestnut St., Orangeburg, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, at The Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday Dec. 15, at New Hope cemetery, Rowesville, with the Rev. Jimmy Smoak officiating.

Mrs. Syfrett Was born in Orangeburg, a daughter of the late B. Lee Davis and Edna Thomas Davis. She was a graduate of Orangeburg High School and was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church where she served as a trustee.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Dukes Syfrett, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jerry Crisp, Orangeburg; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Scarlett Syfrett, Bowman; sister, Felicia Myers, Orangeburg; three grandchildren, Ashton Syfrett, and Lindsey Gail Syfrett, Bowman, Matthew Crisp, Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home of Orangeburg.

Memorials may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 54, Rowesville SC or to Orangeburg Preparatory Schools, 2651 North Road, Orangeburg SC 29118.

Mrs. Naomi Josephine Roby VanFaussien -- Huntington, W.Va.

Mrs. Naomi Josephine Roby VanFaussien, 87, of Huntington, W.Va., died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, in Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Larry Greene officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington.

She was born in Huntington on Jan. 22, 1916, a daughter of the late Thomas Franklin and Florence J. Angle Roby. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh L. VanFaussien, and a son, Robert Eugene VanFaussien. She was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Lewis, of Huntington, W.Va.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Joe and Ruth Ann VanFaussien, of Cordova and Hugh "Casey" and Nan VanFaussien, of Orangeburg.; 10 grandchildren, including Stephanie Felkel and Stacey and Chris Drew, all of Cordova, and Kathryn VanFaussien and Elizabeth VanFaussien, both of Orangeburg; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.

Chapman's Mortuary Inc. in Huntington, W. Va., is in charge of arrangements.

Lola Margaret Rabon Carter, 66

WARRENTON, N.C. - Lola Margaret Rabon Carter, 66, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004.

A native of Horry County, she was the daughter of the late John Conley and Princess Myrtle Cook Rabon. She was married to Warren Daniel Carter. She was retired from Harriett & Henderson Yarns Inc.

Survivors include her husband of the home; four daughters, Ellen Page of Miami, Fla., Lois Ellis and Theresa Wiesner, both of Henderson, N.C., and Brenda Moseley of Warrenton; three sons, John Page, Terry Page and Donald Page, all of Henderson; four sisters, Dorothy Gibson of Holden Beach, N.C., Linda Jordan, Cathy Bradley and Cheryl-Dean Elliott, all of Lancaster; two brothers, John Rabon and Gene Rabon, both of Lancaster; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Coley; a sister, Capota Rabon; and a brother, Donald Rabon.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson, with burial in Sunset Gardens.

Joseph Alva Cauthen Sr., 83

HEATH SPRINGS - Joseph Alva Cauthen Sr., 83, died Thursday, June 10, 2004.

Born Aug. 15, 1920, in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Chalmers Dewey Cauthen and Mamie Rollins Cauthen. He was married to the late Emma Mae Kelly Cauthen. He retired from the J.P. Stevens Co. in Great Falls. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Ervin Cauthen and his wife, Rhonda; three daughters, Louise Copeland and her husband, Henry, and Desiree Edwards and her husband, Bill, and Brendell Medlin, all of Heath Springs; four brothers, David Cauthen and Ray Cauthen, both of Lancaster, Prince E. Cauthen of Travelers Rest and Joe Cauthen of Georgia; three sisters, Minnie Lee Snipes and Tillie Craig, both of Heath Springs, and Mildred Hudson of Lancaster; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church cemetery, conducted by the Rev. James Chappell.

The body will be taken to the home at 1991 Beach Lane today, and the family will receive friends there until one hour before services Saturday.

Memorials may be made to New Hope Fellowship Church of God, c/o the Rev. James Chappell, 5322 Old Branch Road, Fort Lawn, SC 29714.

Bonny LeJeune, 60

BETHUNE - Bonny Lee LeJeune, 60, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004.

Born in Tallahassee, Fla., she was married to Thomas LeJeune Sr. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church and the Bethune Women's Club.

Survivors include her husband of the home; four daughters, Kathy Petty and Kimmie LeJeune, both of Bethune, Pamela Jaycox of Catskill, N.Y., and Terri Brean of Torrington, Conn.; three sons, Edward Egbert of Bethune, Thomas LeJeune Jr. of Amenia, N.Y., and Ronald LeJeune of Millerton, N.Y.; a sister, Marsha Jenkins of Rutland, Vt.; two brothers, Robert Egbert of Bethune and Michael Egbert of Summerton; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Larry Brown.

Memorials may be made to the Bethune Women's club, c/o Dot McLaurin, P.O. Box 218, Bethune, SC 29009.

William 'Will' McPherson, 14

WESTVILLE - William Michael "Will" McPherson, 14, died Monday, June 7, 2004.

A rising freshman at North Central High School, he was the son of Allison McPherson and Mike McPherson. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Peggy McPherson, of Westville; his mother of Camden; a brother, Ryan McPherson of Westville; a sister, Maggie McPherson of Westville; three stepsisters, Neena Agrawal, Amanda Agrawal and Millie Agrawal, all of Westville; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Margaret Colvin of Lugoff; and maternal grandparents, Jim and Emily Corbett of Camden.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Bethany Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church, Family Life Center, P.O. Box 448, Westville, SC 29175.

Thomas 'Tommy' Robinson, 50

KERSHAW - Thomas Franklin "Tommy" Robinson, 50, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Thomas A.V. Robinson and the late Dorothy Parker Robinson. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a self-employed welder. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father; a sister, Sandra Robinson Miller and her husband, Doug, of Davidson, N.C.; a stepbrother, Doug Hinkle of Lancaster; and two half-sisters, Susan Robinson of Lancaster and Amy Robinson of Alabama.

Services were held Thursday at First Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Bryant Fersner.

Russell 'Rusty' Roddy, 49

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Russell "Rusty" Roddy, 49, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004.

Born April 8, 1955, in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Bisle Roddey and Lucille Virginia Robinson Roddey. He worked in construction and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two brothers, Archie Roddey and Olin Roddey, both of Lancaster.

His body was cremated.

Memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.

Maybelle Whittaker Shropshire died Thursday, June 10, 2004.
