Adrena Fowler, of 108 Whisperingbrook, died Friday, March 31, 2006, in Duluth, Georgia.

She was the daughter of Debra L. Kelley and Adrian B. Fowler (Susan F. Fowler).

Survivors: Her parents, Debra L. Kelley and Adrian B. Fowler and stepmother, Susan F. Fowler; sisters, Megan Pearson and Miya Fowler; brothers, Adrian Fowler, Jr. and Devon A. Fletcher; maternal grandparents, Dorothy F. Kelley and Harold W. Kelley; paternal grandparents, Linda F. Neely and John L. Neely; aunt, Celeste H. Neely; special cousin, Jaelyn Neely; god sister, Natashia Fuller.

Funeral Services: Monday, 1 p.m. at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family is at 105 Maxwell Avenue.

Roy Johnson
Greenwood

Roy Lee Johnson, 86, husband of Lois R. Johnson, died March 31, 2006, at his home.

Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Vera A. Johnson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and formerly employed by Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant, after 48 years of service. Mr. Johnson was a member of Mathews Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 68 years are two sons, Jerry L. Johnson of Mobile, Ala., and Harold R. Johnson of San Jose, Calif.; a daughter, Betty J. Abrams of Greenwood; two sisters, Lucille O. Johnson of Greenwood and Patricia J. Digby of Anderson; four brothers, Marion S., Herbert C., Benjamin F. and James S. Johnson, all of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Monday at Blyth Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Buck Jones
Spartanburg

Jeffrey Buck Jones, 43, of Spartanburg, S.C., passed to a better life on March 31, 2006, at his residence, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jeff was born in Hinds Co. March 11, 1963. He grew up in Kosciusko, Miss. Jeff had a passion for fishing, was an avid reader, and loved all animals.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn, of Spartanburg; daughter and granddaughter, Ashton Nicole and Madisyn Alexis of England; parents, Amos and Mary Lou Jones of Kosciusko, Miss. Predeceased: Grandparents, DeWitt and Lessie Brantly, formerly of Walnut Grove, Miss.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. April 4 at Restoration Church, Spartanburg. Omit flowers; memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 775 Spartan Blvd., Spartanburg, SC 29301.

The family will be at the home of Dale Barnette, 139 Walden Dr., Spartanburg.

Cremation Society of South Carolina is serving the family.

Patricia Ann Robinson Kay
Liberty

Funeral services for Mrs. Kay will be 2 p.m. Monday at Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Liberty Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the mortuary.

Patricia Ann Robinson Kay, of 333 Slab Bridge Road, died Saturday April 1, 2006, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Terry and Alma Sarah Richey Robinson.

She was Employee Coordinator for The City Of Clemson and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, James Carlyle Kay of the home; sons, David Russell Kay of Liberty, and Roger Dale Kay of Piedmont; sisters, Marie Robinson Newell of Pickens, and Genelle Robinson Pirnes of Liberty; and a brother, Roy Terry Robinson of Lilburn, Ga.

The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to the nurses and staff on the fifth floor of Greenville Memorial Hospital for the care and kindness shown to Mrs. Kay and to her family as well.

The family will be at the home of Stan and Genelle Pirnes, 341 Slab Bridge Road, Liberty SC 29657.

Jack Trenton League Jr.
Simpsonville

Jack Trenton League, Jr., of Simpsonville, S.C., passed away suddenly Friday, March 31, 2006.

Born in Greenville County, he was the son of Maree Thomas League and the late Jack Trenton League, Sr.

He was a graduate of Berea High School and Greenville Technical College. He was an artist and liked to play golf, hunt and fish.

Mr. League was employed for the last five years with Sew-Eurodrive in Lyman, S.C. and he was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Patricia B. League of the home; a son-in-law, Ronald Beheler; a grandson, Ryan Beheler; and a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Beheler, all of Greenville; two sisters, Janet Miller, of Pelzer, S.C., and Jeannie Rozier, of Savannah, Ga. He was predeceased by two daughters, Karen League Beheler and Kristie League; and a sister, Ruth Ann Revis.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, with burial in Graceland West cemetery.

Visitation will be held noon to 1:15 p.m., Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family will be at the home of Maree League, 100 Fairlawn Circle, Greenville, SC.

Glenn S. Looper
Pelzer

Glenn Steele Looper, 71, husband of Quida Bruce Looper, of 310 Looper Road, died on Saturday, April 1, 2006, at his home.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Marshall Addison and Sarah Elizabeth Richardson Looper. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Gray Mortuary in Pelzer. Glenn was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Pelzer where he was known as "Mr. Precious" to the Tabernacle Mission Team, and was also a member of the Tabernacle Quartet.

In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by his daughters, Glenda Lee Looper Eller of Pelzer, Rhonda E. Looper of Garfield, N.J.; sisters, Olivia L. Bryant, Betty L. Addison, both of Pelzer; and brothers, Paul Looper of Laurens, and Tom Looper of Seneca.

He was predeceased by three sisters, Ruth Holliday, Martha Whitten, Frances Segers; and a brother, Randy Looper.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Pelzer. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church cemetery.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.

Timothy J. Looper
Pickens

Timothy James Looper, 59, of 809 John Street, husband of Phyllis Chambers Looper, passed away March 31, 2006, at Greenville Memorial Hospital after a massive stroke.

Born in Greenville, S.C., on Jan. 26, 1947, he was the son of the late James Matthew and Gertrude "Lucy" Cossington Looper.

Mr. Looper was a 1965 graduate of Pickens High School and attended Clemson University. He worked as an Electrical Engineer with OWT, (previously Ryobi and Singer), for 30 years. He owned and operated Carolina Automotive/NAPA in Pickens for 25 years, which began as Looper's Automotive at his home, and he worked on Corvettes and other cars for years. He was also a member St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Easley and the National Guard for 30 years.

Mr. Looper was a member of the Corvette Club of Greenville and loved drag racing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, shooting pool with friends, working on computers, taking pictures, genealogy, town history, and eating at Pizza Inn. He also was active in his church, taking pictures for the church directory.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Stacey Looper, Jennifer Eades and husband, Eric, and Megan Looper, all of Pickens; and a granddaughter, Olivia Eades. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins in Pickens and England.

Special thanks to a special friend, Tony Sorrells, for his help and support.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2006, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with burial in Secona Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rev. Boyd E. McCraney Jr.
Greenville

Rev. Boyd E. McCraney, Jr., 69, of 100 S. Mountain Fork, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Akron, Ohio, he was a son of the late Boyd E. McCraney, Sr. and Ola B. Jones McCraney. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors: Wife, Kalyah A. McCraney; daughters, Gillian Howard of Mauldin and Tarasha Jackson of Taylors; sons, Boyd E. McCraney, III of Florida and Gyasi Jackson of Anderson; sisters, Betty Smith of Omaha, Neb., Rena Lawrence, Joann Johnson and Valerie Hairston, all of Detroit, Mich.; brothers, Dwight and Victor McCraney, both of Detroit, Mich.; and five grandchildren.

Graveside Service: Monday, 3 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Pauline Rackley Moore
Belton

Pauline Rackley Moore, 82, wife of Rev. Ferris D. Moore of 112 Woodrow St., died Friday, March 31, 2006, at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late William Frone and Etta Crane Rackley. She was a member of Honea Path Church of God and a homemaker.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Marlon Frone Moore and wife, Beth, of Belton; and grandchildren, Ashley Moore and Matthew Moore.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Honea Path Church of God with Revs. Boyd King, Walter Barwick, and Paul Herring officiating. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Cox Funeral Home.

The family will be at Marlon Moore's home at 248 Pebble Brook Lane, Belton.

Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
