Mrs. Radspinner died Saturday evening, April 29. She was born in Darlington County, a daughter of the late Eugene Tillman Dutton and Hannah Revell Dutton. She was married
to the late Fred Radspinner. She was a housewife and enjoyed playing her violin. Mrs. Dutton was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Evelyn Dutton of Darlington and Mabel D. Ivey of Cheraw; also, one niece and one nephew.
ROBERT 'R.W.' BELL
Funeral services for Robert 'R.W' W. Bell, 77, were held 11 am Saturday, April 29, 2006, in the Lamar Chapel of Belk Funeral Home with interment following in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
Mr. Bell died Thursday, April 27, in a local hospital. He was born in Darlington County, son of the late Johnny and Sizzie Amerson Bell. R.W. was a painter and loved to go fishing in his spare time.
Surviving are his wife, Pearline Oxendine Bell of Hartsville; four sons, Jerry Bell and Michael Bell, both of Hartsville, Roger (Crystal) Bell, Jimmy (Terri) Bell, all of Lamar; four grandchildren; and a brother, Pete (Betty) Bell of Lamar.

Marvin Wright, 62, died Sunday, April 30, at his residence after an illness. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Young & Young Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 1309 Folly Road, Hartsville.

Funeral services for Deborah Capers Bennett were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Jerusalem Baptist Church. Burial followed services in Greenlawn cemetery, directed by Young & Young Funeral Home of Hartsville.
Mrs. Bennett died April 27, at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center. She was born in Darlington County, a daughter of Hayes and Viola Benjamin Capers. She was married
to Evans Bennett, who preceded her in death.
Surviving to cherish her memory other than her parents of Hartsville, are her son, Jason L. Capers of Miami, Fla.; a step-son, Marquis Pendergrass of Hartsville; a godson, Keith Holmes of Jacksonville, Fla.; four sisters, Neomia McDuffie of Paterson, N.J., Jannie (Luke) Arthur, Dollie (Larry) Cook, Lillie Mae Capers; two brothers, Leroy (Miriam) Capers of Hartsville and Eugene Capers of Washington, D.C.; one brother-in-law, Leroy Bennett of Bishopville; nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.

Mrs. Floyd, widow of Ernest Matt Floyd, died Saturday, April 29. Born in Chesterfield County, she was a daughter of the late Luke T. and Jessie Evitt Hill. She was a member of Fourth Street Baptist Church.

Keyonc died Thursday, April 27, at Duke University Hospital after an illness. He was born on March 14, 2006, in Vicenza, Italy, and was the loving son of Kendrick and Shaleetha Benjamin. He received his education in the Cumberland County public school system.

BETHUNE - Services for Hayward Colie Trimnal, 'Chester, ' 65 will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2006, at Bethune Baptist Church. The Rev. Jimmy Holley will officiate with burial by the South Carolina State Trooper Honor Guard at Brannon cemetery, directed by Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and family tonight, May 3, from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.
Mr. Trimnal passed away Tuesday, May 2, at his home with his family, friends and fellow officers at his bedside. Born in Bethune, he was the son of the late Colie Boykin Trimnal and Sallie Thompson Trimnal.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Winburn Trimnal; son, Colie H. Trimnal; daughter and son-in-law, Susan T. and Jeffrey A. Holley; granddaughter, Anna Susanne Holley, all of Bethune; brother, Leven Trimnal of Camden. He is predeceased by a sister, Ethel H. Jones.
He was a dedicated police officer for 35 years. He served as a police officer and police chief at Bethune Police Department from 1971 to 1988. He was a lieutenant at the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Department where he served from 1988 to his recent retirement. Memorials may be made in his honor to the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Department Memorial Fund.

LAMAR - Funeral services for Rhoda Mae Hancock Watford, 94, were held 3 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006, in Lamar United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Lamar Memorial cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Mel Flail and directed by Belk Funeral Home, Lamar Chapel.
Mrs. Watford died Thursday, April 27, in a local hospital. She was born in Lee County, daughter of the late Robert D. and Carrie Mathis Hancock. She was a loving housewife, and member of Lamar United Methodist Church and the Sue Stewart Circle.
Surviving are a daughter, Elfreeda W. Barnes of Bishopville, three sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin L. and Rachel Watford, Robert Manly and Pat Watford, Donald and Betty Watford, all of Lamar; eight grandchildren, Lynne B. Ward of Elliott, Timothy J. Barnes of Sumter, Sheila W. Petty, Kyle E. Watford, both of Columbia, Kevin B. Watford of Sumter, Donald Watford Jr., of Myrtle Beach, Robert M. Watford Jr. of Fork, Wayne Skidmore of Lamar; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Nick Hancock and Tommy Hancock of Sumter; also a special friend, Lettie Boston, and caregivers Shirley Gilmore and Lonnie Taylor.
Mrs. Watford was preceded in death by four sisters, Hallie Bradham, Marie H. Romine, Grace Hancock, Becky Ann Ross, and four brothers, Murdic, Marvin, Fred and Robert Hancock.

Mrs. White died Thursday, April 27. A native of Camden, she was the widow of B. Carl Driggers of Hartsville. After his death she married
the late James E. White of Fort Mill.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Carlisle and Jeanette Driggers of Lexington; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Charles 'Chick' Williams of Rock Hill; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, T. David Driggers, in October 2004.
TROY A. BONDS
TIMMONSVILLE - Funeral services for Troy Anderson Bonds, 86, will be held at 11 a.m. today, May 5, 2006, at Sardis Baptist Church in Timmonsville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, directed by Layton-Anderson Funeral Home of Florence.
Mr. Bonds died Wednesday, May 3. He was born in Barnwell County, the son of the late Goley Anderson and Essie Branch Bonds. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a farmer in the Sardis Community and for more than 30 years worked as a salesman with King Cadillac.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Anderson Bonds of Timmonsville; three daughters, Jan Steinhauer of Somerset, N.J., Ardie (John) Arvidson of Hartsville and Gretchen (Eric) Gleason of Greenville; one sister, Elizabeth Bodiford of Barnwell; and a sister-in-law, Janie Bonds of Cayce; eight grandchildren, Mandy and Matt Arvidson, Lee and Mark Steinhauer and Elizabeth, Erica, Carolina and Jack Gleason. He was predeceased by a son, Alex Bonds.

Mrs. McKenzie, widow of Charlie M. McKenzie, died May 3. She was born in Bethune, a daughter of the late George W. and Sallie Ellen King. She was a member of Ashland United Methodist Church, Sunday school teacher and president of United Methodist Women. She attended Spartanburg Methodist College, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was well known for her chocolate pies.
Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn (Bud) McLendon, Hartsville; grandchildren, Karen (Gary) Lukridge, Boiling Springs, N.C., Lisa McLendon, Hartsville; great-grandchildren, Bethany McLendon, Sara Lukridge, Boiling Springs, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. James died suddenly Monday, May 1, at his residence. He was born in Florence, a son of the late Ella Mae Shumake James and Henry Edward James Sr. He was a former Darlington County deputy sheriff, member of the Hampton Masonic Lodge, Palmetto Street Church of God and attended Calvary Tabernacle in Darlington.

Funeral services for Jerrica Larrayne Johnson were conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1305 E. Cheves Street, Florence. Burial followed in Resthaven cemetery, Dillon, directed by Ideal Funeral Parlor.
Miss Johnson was born June 17, 1992 in Dillon. She was the daughter of Arlene B. Johnson and the late Rev. Larry Dean Johnson Sr. She departed her life on May 5 in a car accident. She was in the eighth grade at Darlington Middle School, where she was a member of the band, academic challenge team, news team, yearbook staff, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, South Carolina Junior Scholar and served as a marshal for the junior high graduation. She was a flute player and was selected to the Eastern District Honor Band and received a superior ratio for her solo & ensemble performance. She was a sixth-year dance student for Mrs. Kay Pilgrim, where she served as a student assistant and was awarded her five-year achievement award. She served as a tabulator assistant for Eastern Cheerleaders Association National Competition in Williamsburg, Va. She was a former member of the Young Singers of Darlington and a cheerleader for the Darlington Recreation Department. In the fall, she would have been attending Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology, where her mother is the principal.
At Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, she was a member of the Joshua Generation Choir, New Generation Symphony, McAllister for Bishop Booster Committee, Young People's Department (YPD) and a Come Home for Christmas Disciple.
Left to cherish precious memories are her mother, Arlene B. Mrs. Curry died Thursday, May 4, at her residence after an illness. She was born in Chesterfield County, a daughter of the late Mack and Carrie Pate Jowers. She received her education in the public schools in the area and graduated from Benedict College with a degree in education. She was a retired employee with the Chesterfield County public school system. Mrs. Curry was also a member of Mt. Elon United Methodist Church as well as the United Methodist Women, chairperson of Higher Learning and Vacation Bible School teacher.
Surviving are one son, Princetelo (Patricia) E. Curry of Stone Mountain, Ga.; two grandchildren, Karla and Elizabeth; two sisters, Dorethea J. Blakeney of Pageland and Cornelia J. Watson of Jefferson; a host of nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.
