He was born in Martinsburg, WV to the late Earl Brooke and Laura Elva Ward Dyche. He was employed by E.I Dupont and Westinghouse
SRS. He was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church were he served in the church choir and was also a member of the Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Flowers Dyche; one son, Richard H. & Lynda Dyche, Aiken, SC; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Dyche, Edisto Island, SC; three brothers James Dyche, and Gary Dyche, Martinsburg, WV, Donald Dyche, Shepherdstown, WV, three sisters; Pearilee Greenfield, Bunker Hill, WV, Wanda Church, Martinsburg, WV, Mary Fields, Bunker Hill, WV. Memorials may be sent to Hitchcock Hospice, Aiken, SC, or South Aiken Presbyterian Church, 1711 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC. Pallbearers will be Doug Flowers, Mike Kilmer, Richard Dyche, Scott Butts, Daryl Perry, Philip Lockard, and Denny Weeks. AIKEN – Mrs. Jimmie Geraldine Busbee Berry of Hancock Rd., who was born in Aiken to the late James Gabriel and Myrtle Flinn Busbee, entered into rest at her home on Palm Sunday, the first day of spring, March 20, 2005.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 5:30 PM, Wednesday, in Historic Bethany Cemetery. The Rev. Eddie Penland will officiate.

A lifelong resident of Aiken, she was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.

Mrs. Berry is survived by her beloved husband, David Thomas Berry; a daughter, Patty (Roy) Hammac, Century, FL; a son, Richard (Laura) Conway, Jr., Aiken; a grandson, Mark Hammac, Portland, OR; two sisters, Sally Hunst, Aiken, and Sara Osteen, Nashville, TN; and two brothers, J. Carrol Busbee, Sr. and John C. Jordan, both of Aiken.

Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Dr., Suite 205, Columbia, SC 29204.

Pallbearers will be J. Carrol Busbee, Sr., John C. Jordan, Eric Berry, Roy Hammac, Jim Busbee, Steve Busbee, Jim Williams and Todd Summer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Irvin Summer, Mark Hammac and her nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Ida Mae Lunger Holley, 89, of Aiken died March 22 in Orlando, FL.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, March 29 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jack Hasty officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery.
Mrs. Holley was born in Aiken to the late Bessie Cushman and Thomas R. Lunger. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Cradle Roll of First Baptist Church, Charter Member-Country Gardners, Garden Club of SC, Round Table Circle and Triple "L" Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her daughters, Janet Holley (John) Wingfield, Lajolla, CA; Olivia Holley (Joe) Maxwell, Winter Park, FL; four grandchildren, Lauren Wingfield, Elizabeth Jensen, Mark Maxwell, Julie D'Alessandro; six great grandchildren, Charlotte Jensen, John Jensen, Olivia Jensen, Marah Oropeza, Craig D'Alessandro, Christian D'Alessandro. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin Eugene Holley.
Memorials may be made to Aiken Area Council on Aging or Meals on Wheels Program, P.O. Box 3156, Aiken, SC 29802.
Active Pallbearers will be Larry Holley, Charles Holley, William Holley, Harry Sampson, Danny Redd and Jim Watson.

Loving husband of Laurie Wilson Mills and beloved father of Lyn Hyman, Aiken, Kim R. Mills, Haymarket, VA and Zac C. Mills, Upperville, VA; six grandchildren, Brett Hyman, Shannon Hyman, Virginia Carol Mills, Shane Mills, Alexis Mills, Elyse Mills.
Mr. Mills was a master leather maker. He made and repaired saddles, chaps, pocket books, belts and horse tack. He owned CC Tack Shop for over 15 years. He was an avid golfer and horseman. He loved animals and was never seen wihtout his dog.
Mr. Mills served in the Army during WWII.

AIKEN, SC – MRS. DOROTHY HERRON CLARK, 69, of Lander Lane, died Saturday, March 26, 2005 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 3:00 PM at South Aiken Presbyterian Church with The Reverend Dr. John L. Frye officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. A native and lifelong resident of Aiken, Mrs. Clark was a daughter of the late John Fredrick and Nancy Elizabeth Higgingbottom Herron. She was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church where she served as elder, church historian and former president of Women of the Church. She was the church secretary for over twenty years and published the church’s newsletter “South Aiken Aims” for the last 39 years. She was the president of the VFW Post 5877 Ladies Auxiliary, a position she held several times, and was also very active in the Aiken community. Survivors include her beloved husband, Tarrel J. Clark, a daughter and son-in-law, Delora and Dana Simmons of Aiken, a daughter-in-law Debra Clark of Soperton, GA, four sisters, Myrtis H. Johnson, Barbara H. Britt, Lottie H. Snipes and Mary Ann H. Lynes, four brothers, Grady Elijah Herron, Owen Fredrick Herron and Heber T. Herron, all of Aiken and John Joseph Burts Herron of Joanna, SC, three granddaughters, April Braddy, Noelle Kelley and Lauren Thompson and her beloved pet, Maddie. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Ray Clark and two brothers, Dalton Collins Herron and Robert L. Herron. Pallbearers will be Creighton Lynes, Alan Snipes, Brian Snipes, Royce Clark, Keith Clark, Steve Snipes, Justin Lynes and Jordan Lynes. A native of Gloucester City, NJ, Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late James and Alice May Brauning Thomson and the widow of John Allen Miller. She moved to Aiken 12 years ago from Burlington, KS and was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church and sang in the choir. She taught piano for many years. Surviving are four sons, Gerald Miller, Tampa, FL, Jack Miller, Joliet, IL, Jeff Miller, London, England and Joe Miller, Columbia, two brothers, Charlie Thomson and Jimmy Thomson, both of Gloucester, NJ, fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Michael, Jonathan, Joseph, Tim, J.J., Josh and Nathan. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 AM until Noon at the church.
