WARE SHOALS — Mary Lee Ware Chase, of 32 Sparks Ave., wife of Meryle E. Chase, died Aug. 13, 2000, at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood.
Born in Franklin County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Jones and Bessie Bond Ware. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ware Shoals.
Survivors include her husband of the home; a daughter, Mrs. J. Harold (Shirley) Balentine of Ware Shoals; a son, Jerry Milford Holcombe of Roy, Utah; a brother, Rufus Ware of Honea Path; a sister, Mildrew W. Long of Anderson; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 Tuesday in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Leon Jones.
The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Harold Balentine, 1 Higgins Drive.

Michael S. Ledford
WARE SHOALS — Michael Scott Ledford, 31, of 34 Edgewood Drive, died Aug. 13, 2000.
Born in Ankara, Turkey, he was a son of Johnny W. Ledford and Joyce Ledford Gurley.
Survivors include his parents, both of Ware Shoals; three brothers, Johnny Ray Ledford and James Willis Ledford, both of Ware Shoals and Jeffrey Lawrence Ledford of Columbia; and five sisters, Sandra Faye LeCroy of Waterloo, Donna Lynn Clark of Pendleton, Kimberly Michelle Sizemore of Ware Shoals, Rebecca Lee Barnhill of Silsbee Texas and Kathy Jean Emory of Colorado.
Services will be at 2 Tuesday at Parker-White Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Herman Bagwell. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.

GREENWOOD — Virginia Ann Parks, 58, of 719 Grendel Ave., wife of Tommy Parks, died Aug. 11, at Self Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of Claude Roundtree Sr. and the late Betty Ruth Lagroone Anderson. She was a member of Calvary Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of Greenwood; her father of Ninety Six; a daughter, Delphine Warren of the home; six brothers, Willie T. Moss Sr. and Claude Roundtree Jr., both of Greenwood, Horace Carroll of Syracuse, N.Y., Benjamin Roundtree of Oklahoma City and David Roundtree and Robert Lee Roundtree, both of Ninety Six; four sisters, Sara Day, Lynn Freeman, Mildred A. Carter and Mary Jones, all of Greenwood; two grandchildren of the home, Atari Roundtree and Latoya Roundtree; a great-grandson reared in the home, Isiah Jeffery; and her stepfather, Milton Anderson of Greenwood.
Services will be at 2 Tuesday at Calvary Grove Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Willie Evans, assisted by the Rev. Annette Edwards. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1.
Pallbearers are Willie Briggs, Johnnie Briggs, Earl Sanders, Ellis Jackson, Michael Quarles and Tarrance Jackson.
Flower bearers are LaTesha Anderson, LaTasha Anderson, Anoela Day, Tara Day, Cheryl Worsley, Abedella Golden, Lesa Golden and Tamika Day.

COLUMBIA — Eugenia B. Starks, wife of Lawrence Starks, died Aug. 10, 2000.
Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late John Brown. She was a retired book binder machinist.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Brown; and two sisters, Willie Mae Anders and Candace Burrell.
Services will be at 2 Tuesday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Ridgeway, with burial in Memorial Garden. The casket will be placed in the church at 1.
Visitation is at 6 tonight at Palmer Memorial Chapel.

Harold E. Fuller
CLINTON — Harold E. Fuller, 64, of 254 Fuller Road, died Aug. 17, 2000, at Laurens County Hospital.
Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Euell and Lillian Deloach Fuller.
Survivors include three brothers, John Fuller and Fred Fuller, both of Clinton and Charles Fuller of Honea Path; and a sister, Louise Fulton of Laurens.
Services will be at 3 today at Gray Funeral Home, with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family is at the home of a brother, Fred Fuller, 288 Randell Drive, Clinton.

Elizabeth S. Gray
INMAN — Elizabeth Suber Gray, 94, formerly of Inman, widow of George M. Gray, died Aug. 17, 2000, at Presbyterian Home in Clinton.
Born in Antreville, she was a daughter of the late Cage Alroy and Allie Bowen Suber. She was a member of Inman Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two grandsons.
Graveside services will be at 2 today in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by Dr. Jeri Perkins, chaplain of Frampton Hall, Clinton.

GREENWOOD — Earlene Reid Hall, 72, of 416 Morgan Ave., wife of Thomas W. Hall, died Aug. 18, 2000, at Self Memorial Hospital.
Born in Chester, she was a daughter of the late Wesley K. Reid and Vinnie James Reid Gosnell. She was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens Co.
Survivors include her husband of Pendleton; two sons, Edward R. Hall of Florida and Rodger Hall of Greenville; five daughters, Joyce H. Wright of Florida, Joanne Frasure of Connecticut, Janice H. Capps of Easley, Darlene H. Johnson of Williamston and Ann Jones of Greenwood; two stepbrothers; three stepsisters; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; 17 step-grandchildren and 17 step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McDougald Funeral Home, Anderson, conducted by Layman David Linler. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson.

MOUNT PLEASANT — Madge Boykin Harvey, 96, of 693 Pawley Road, wife of Francis Marion Harvey, died Aug. 18, 2000, at East Cooper Regional Medical Center.
Born in Harleyville, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Etta Wiggins Boykin. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Survivors include her husband of the home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Raymond Duvall.

GREENWOOD — Colvin Lee Mayo, 50, of 204 Hunter Road, died Aug. 15, 2000.
Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Wilmond Howard Mayo Sr. and Grace Williams Mayo. He was a Greenwood High School graduate, a member of the Builders Association and owner of The Mayo Plumbing Co.
Survivors include his wife; Barbara Jean Mayo of Greenwood; three children, William C. Mayo and Bryan L. Mayo, both of Greenwood and Kimberley D. Lovejoy of Laurens; two stepsons, Phillip Vaughn and Robert Vaughn, both of Greenwood; a stepdaughter, Billie Jean Brown of Ware Shoals; a brother, Wilmond Howard Mayo Jr. of Greenwood; a sister, Rebecca Mayo of Columbia; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 5 Monday at Blyth Funeral Home by the Rev. Laurin Young and the Rev. Bobby Davis.
Visitation is from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.
