Mozell Frazier

HODGES — Mozell “Buddy” Frazier, 90, of 1208 Shirley Road, widower of Mamie Williams Frazier, passed away June 1, at Self Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenwood County, he was retired from Riegel Textile Mills. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include a son of the home, James Frazier; a sister, Ruth Price of New York; seven grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 Sunday at Good Hope Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Stanley Haltiwanger, Sylvester Jackson, and Linda Posley. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2.
Pallbearers are deacons of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Flower bearers are deaconesses of Good Hope Baptist Church and Women’s Missionary.
The family is at the home.

Clara M. Callaham

MCCORMICK — Services for Clara M. Callaham will be at 2 Tuesday at Walker Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Thomas Duncan. Burial will be in the Little Mill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers and flower bearers are friends of the family.
The family is at the home.
The family is at the home of the son, Henry Callaham, on Highway 221 in the Freeman Sub-division.

GREENWOOD — Sara K. Duvall, 83, formerly of Hampton House, passed away June 5, 2000, at Wesley Commons.
Visitation is from 7-9 Tuesday at Blyth Funeral Home.
The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Walton, 717 Logan Court.
Services will be announced by Blyth Funeral Home, which is in charge.

Cleophus Fuller

GREENWOOD — Cleophus Fuller, 70, of 301 Joe Wells Road, passed away June 3, 2000, at his home.
Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Tom and Hattie Benson Fuller. He retired from Wells Farms and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Carrie Turman and Mammie Cummings, both of Hodges and Antonia Parks of Greenwood; two stepsons, Alphonso Parks and Henry Parks, both of Greenwood; a stepdaughter, Charleen Henderson of Hodges; a brother, Russell Logan of Greenwood; a sister, Alice Logan of Greenwood; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 Tuesday at Friendship Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Jonathan Greene. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Coronaca. The body will be placed in the church at 10.
Pallbearers are nephews.
Flower bearers are nieces and friends of the family.
Honorary escorts are deacons and trustees.
Visitation is at Percival-Tompkins Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. tonight.
The family is at the homes of Carrie Turman, 3922 Highway 276 N. in Hodges; and Antonia Parks, 101 Stonehaven Drive, Apt. 42, in Greenwood.

Isiah Gilliam

SALUDA — Isiah Gilliam, 82, of Route 4, Box 449, widower of Elizer Lott Gilliam, passed away June 3, 2000, at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood.
Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late George and Mary Gibson Gilliam. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and a member of the senior choir and Sons of Aide. He was a retired employee of Georgia-Pacific.
Survivors include two sons, Emmit Gilliam and Floyd Gilliam, both of Saluda; four daughters, Ethel G. Jones, Shirley Kinard and Minnie Lee Coleman, all of Saluda and Bennie Mae Reeder of Philadelphia; 30 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
The family is at the home.
Services will be announced by Butler and Sons Funeral Home, which is in charge.

Rosalee D. Glenn

GREENWOOD — Rosalee Davenport “Little Mama” Glenn, 79, of 214 Sunrise Circle, widow of James M. Glenn, passed away June 5, 2000, at Self Memorial Hospital.
Visitation is from 7-9 Tuesday at Harley Funeral Home.
The family is at the home of Ann Franks, 104 Kentucky Court.
Services will be announced by Harley Funeral Home, which is in charge.

Jessie R. Holden

TRAVELERS REST — Jessie Rooker Holden, 80, of 17 Marcie Court, widow of Roy Holden, passed away June 4, 2000.
Born in Thomas County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Burlie D. and Lelia Daniels Rooker. She was a homemaker and a member of Slater Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Walt (Tootsie) Sokol of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Bob (Bobbie) Cook of Cross Hill and Mrs. Billy (Laura) Gregg of Travelers Rest; two sons, Benny L. Holden of Cross Hill and Tom R. Holden of Phoenix; three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Phillips, Mrs. Mary Pritchard and Mrs. Shirley Chambers, all of Easley; five brothers, B.I. Rooker and Ervin Rooker, both of Easley, J.P. Rooker of Charleston, W.L. Rooker of Anderson and William Rooker of Bluffton; 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with burial in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of a daughter, Laura Gregg, 15 Marcia Court.

Charlie E. Jackson Sr.

GREENWOOD — Services for Charlie Eugene “Slick” Jackson Sr., of 102 Baptist Court, will be at 2 Wednesday at Robinson and Son Mortuary, conducted by Bishop Emmanuel Spearman. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Abbeville.
Pallbearers and flower bearers are nephews and nieces.
Visitation is at the home Tuesday evening, beginning at 7 p.m.

Louvonia Marshall

ABBEVILLE — Louvonia Marshall, 60, of 130 Adams Drive, passed away June 4, 2000, at Abbeville County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of the late Rayford Hazzard and Sallie M. Marshall. She was a member of Mulberry AME Church, where she was a trustee, stewardess, missionary and a member of the hospitality committee. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, James Larry Marshall of Abbeville; three daughters, Annetta Faye Thomas, Teressa Watt and Melissa Belcher, all of Abbeville; two brothers, Thomas Lee Johnson of Abbeville and Irvin Covington of Atlanta; a sister, Mary M. Ray of Abbeville; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and a niece reared in the home, Izan Ray.
The family is at the home.
Services will be announced by Brown and Walker Funeral Home, which is in charge.

GREENWOOD — Orlando Mandrell “Lando” Morton, 18, of 1011 Parkland Place Road, Lot 7, passed away June 5, 2000, at Self Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of Lonniel Saxon and Cathy Lou Morton Belcher. He was a member of Bethel Bible Baptist Church and an employee Craig Body Shop.
Survivors include his father of Greenwood; his mother and stepfather, James Allen Belcher, of the home; a daughter, Brenautica Morton of Cross Hill; a brother, Lavarius Morton of the home; a sister, Shanita Morton of Greenwood; five stepsisters, Lafershire Glisson of Virginia Beach, Va., Krystal Belcher and Ayinka Belcher, both of Orlando, Fla. and Amber Saxon and Christan Saxon, both of Saluda; a stepbrother, Jermery Saxon of Saluda; maternal grandparents, Mrs. Georgia Mae Morton and James Wesley Morton, both of Promised Land; paternal grandparents, Vera Saxon and Lonniel Saxon Jr. of Greenwood;

Jimmy Oglesby

BALTIMORE — Jim J. “Jimmy” Oglesby, of 711 W. Lanvale St., formerly of Greenwood, S.C., husband of Eula Lagroon Oglesby, passed away June 4, 2000.
Born in Bowman, Ga., he was a son of the late Rev. Jasper Oglesby and Emma Pledger Oglesby. He was a veteran, a retiree of Montgomery Ward and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church of Baltimore.
Survivors include his wife and a daughter, Evangelist Irene Oglesby Washington of Greenwood.
Services will be announced by March Funeral Home.
