GREENWOOD — Fred Clifton Bryson, Jr., 60, of 208 Dublin Road, husband of Rebecca Chapman Bryson, passed away Aug. 27, 2001, at Self Memorial Hospital.
Visitation is from 7-9 Wednesday at Blyth Funeral Home.
Services will be announced by Blyth Funeral Home, which is in charge.

Michael A. Byrd
LEXINGTON — Michael Anthony Byrd, 30, passed away Aug. 26, 2001.
Born in Atlanta, he was a son of Olin L. and Sally Talbert Byrd. He was a member of Red Baptist Church and a Navy veteran.
Survivors include his mother of Lexington; his father of West Columbia; three half brothers, Edward E. Rush and William C. Rush, both of Augusta and Carroll T. Rush of Gulfport, Miss.; a half sister, Wanda K. Rush of Gaston; a sister, Olinda Pam Sharpe of Lexington; and a grandmother, Mamie H. Byrd of Cayce.
Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home by the Rev. Don Turner.
Visitation is at the funeral home after the service.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Willie Mae Darragh
GREENWOOD — Willie Mae Owings Darragh, 94, of 3110 McCormick Highway, widow of Jim Darragh Sr., passed away Aug. 28, 2001, at Magnolia Manor.
Born in Enoree, she was a daughter of the late William Austin and Mamie Thomas Owings. She was a homemaker, a former employee of Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant, and a member of South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Frances Lavender Sunday School Class.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Darragh Jr. of Greenwood; a daughter, Ann D. Vines of Greenwood; a sister, Blanche Holsonback of Greenwood; five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 Wednesday at South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Revs. Lawrence Johnson and Hal Lane. The body will be placed in the church at 1. Burial is in Tranquil United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Robert Vines, Darren DeLoach, Todd Darragh, Bill Morgan, James Owings, Clyde Owings, Earl Owings and John Allen Owings.
Honorary escorts are Jessie Cline, Jeffery Rodgers, Lawrence Darragh, John Darragh, Ray Darragh, Wayne Rodgers and Kenny Grose.
Visitation is from 6:30-8 tonight at Harley Funeral Home.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Ann Vines, 411 Lebanon Church Road.
Memorials may be made to South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church, 17 First St., Greenwood, S.C. 29646.

Marion Stella Dorn
EDGEFIELD — Marion Stella Dorn, 83, passed away Aug. 26, 2001, at Edgefield Health Care Center.
A homemaker and retired clerk, she was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelby D. Price of Abbeville; a son, Billy Dorn of Edgefield; two sisters, Dorcas Griffis of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Felecia Sands of Georgia; a brother, David Dorn of Columbia; and a grandson.
Graveside services were conducted at 11 a.m. today in McKendree United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Jim Bennett.
Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home is in charge.

Lucille Gowan
WARE SHOALS — Lucille Timmerman Dutton Gowan, 81, of 30 Walnut St., passed away Aug. 27, 2001, at her home.
Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Rebecca Bledsoe Timmerman. She retired from Riegel Textile Corp., where she was a member of Quarter Century Club, and was a member of Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was twice married, first to the late James William Dutton, and second to the late Steve Gowan.
Survivors include two sons, Marvin William Dutton of Ware Shoals and Kenneth M. Dutton of Laurens; a daughter, Betty Brown of Ware Shoals; a brother, Bennie Timmerman of Ware Shoals; a sister, Mary Culbertson of Ware Shoals; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 Wednesday at Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Revs. Mark Kennedy and Don McKellar. Burial is in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The body will be placed in the church at 1.
Pallbearers are Tony Timmerman, Billy Gambrell, Jordan Gambrell, Keith Kay, Jerry South and Mickey Boland.
Honorary escorts are members of the Woman’s Sunday School Class of the church.
Visitation is from 7-9 tonight at Parker-White Funeral Home.
The family is at the home.

Annie O. Gray
ABBEVILLE — Annie O. Gray, 68, of 862 Shady Grove Church Road, passed away Aug. 27, 2001, at her home.
Services will be announced by Abbeville & White Mortuary, which is in charge.

Eddie Pugh
PERRY — Eddie Pugh, 77, formerly of Saluda, passed away Aug. 25, 2001.
Born in Saluda, he was a son of the late Solomon and Ora Butler Pugh. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a retired construction worker of McGee Construction.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta Pugh of Saluda; four daughters, Sharon Pugh of Perry, Dianne Davenport of Aiken, Geneva Pugh and Elease Pugh, both of Saluda; a stepson, James C. Robinson of Landover, Md.; a stepdaughter, Betty Jean Aukard of Forestville, Md.; a brother, David Pugh of Manhattan, N.Y.; two sisters, Hattie Stevens of Wilkes Barre, Pa., and Essie Stevens of Long Island, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 Thursday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. Clarence Kenner. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers and flower bearers are friends of the family.
The family is at the home of a daughter, Sharon Pugh, 1022 E. Railroad Ave., Perry.

Joey Stone
GREENWOOD — Joey Benjamin Stone, 39, husband of Cynthia Ferguson Stone, passed away Aug. 25, 2001, on Lake Greenwood.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of Ben Stone and the late Linda Magaha Bridges. He attended Greenwood High School, was employed by Coca-Cola Bottling Co., and attended Bethel United Methodist Church. He was a former member of the South Carolina High School Rodeo Association, the Southern Rodeo Association and the International Professional Rodeo Association as a bull rider.
Survivors include his wife of Greenwood; his father and stepmother, Kate Rodgers Stone, of Callison; two sons, Joey Benjamin Stone Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn., and William Clayton Stone of Greenwood; three sisters, Cathy Davis and Kelly Ford, both of Williamston and Amanda Bridges of Belton; a brother, James Nickolson of Pendleton; and two stepdaughters, Janessa Gross and Heather Gross, both of Greenwood.
Graveside services will be conducted at 5 today in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Callison, by the Rev. Joseph Curtis and Chaplain Mitchell Wray.
Pallbearers are J.C. Cannon, Richard Davis, Charles Duff Jr., Stu Holland, Randy Scott, Wayne Traverse, Roger Walker and Phil Wood.
Visitation is in the church social hall after the services.
The family is at the home of Cynthia Stone, 2500 Edgefield St., Greenwood, and the home of his parents, Ben and Kate Stone, 2419 Callison Road, Callison.

Willie M. Webb Coleman
SALUDA — Willie M. Webb Coleman, wife of Grover Coleman, passed away Aug. 1, 2001, at Lexington Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late Charlie and Amanda Webb and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of the home; a son, Tim Holt of Saluda; two daughters, Robin Lenora and Lena Vinessa Coleman, both of Saluda; six sisters, Charlie M. Webb of Washington , D.C., Blanch Wiggings, Gracie L. Smith, Patsy Spearman, Virginia Phillips and Lula M. Johnson, all of Saluda; and a brother, Benjamin Webb of Saluda.
Services will be conducted at 3 Saturday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. Clarence Kenner, pastor, and the Rev. Nikita K. Canty.
Visitation is from 7-8 tonight at Logan Funeral Home.
Logan Funeral Home is in charge.

Pryce Lorenzo Cuff
GILBERT — Pryce Lorenzo Cuff, 85, of 1124 Spring Hill Road, husband of Anna Marie Cuff, passed away July 31, 2001, at Season Happy Haus, Leesville.
Born in Roanoke, Va., he was a son of the late Pryce and Carrie Leigh Edwards Cuff. He was a member of Joppa Lodge No. 72, a retired postal worker and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of Augusta, Ga.; a son, Elliott Cuff of West Haverstraw, N.Y.; a brother, Howard Cuff of Mount Airy, Pa.; a sister, Eola Wills of Detroit; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive A.M.E. Church, Lexington, conducted by the Rev. James Perry Jr. Burial is in Good Hope C.M.E. Church Cemetery, Gilbert.

GREENWOOD - Patricia Ann Rylee Griffin, 57, of 229 Jenkins Springs Road, wife of Fred Griffin, passed away Wednesday, August 01, 2001 at her home.
Born in England, she was a daughter of Grace Young Rylee and the late Thomas Rylee and was a bookkeeper for Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store in Greenwood.
Surviving is her husband of the home; her mother of Fitzgerald, GA; a son, Sam Griffin and his wife, Crystal of Bradley, SC; two daughters, Penny Humbertson and her husband, Mike, and Peggy Turner, all of Greenwood; a sister, Pam Bateman of Franklin, TN; three brothers, Rick Rylee of Korea, Terry Rylee of Atlanta, GA and David Rylee of Fitzgerald, GA; four grandchildren, Bradley Griffin of Bradley, Casey Turner, Cody White, and Chris White, all of Greenwood.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Owens officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Freddie Wideman, John Witt, Roland McInville, Glen Wideman, Ray Witt and Ralph Reed.
The family is at the home.
