ABBEVILLE — Rose Campbell Wilson, 93, resident of 1104 N. Main St., widow of Homer Franklin Wilson, died Thursday, July 1, 2004 at Abbeville Co. Memorial Hospital.
Born in Abbeville Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Fulton and Cleo Wansley Campbell.
She was the last surviving member of the Abbeville Co. Memorial Hospital School of Nursing Training. She was a retired nurse and was an industrial nurse for Abbeville Mills for over 20 years. She also attended Lander College. She was a former member of the Chrysanthemum Garden Club. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Abbeville.
Survivors are: 3 daughters, Barbara Wakefield, Calhoun Falls, SC, Wilma Reeves, Abbeville, SC, Jean Hammond, Edgefield, SC; 2 sons, Lawrence Franklin Wilson, Greenwood, SC, James “Jimmy” Wilson, Abbeville, SC; 4 sisters, Caroline Prince, Calhoun Falls, SC, Geneva Hart, Anderson, SC, Lanie Whitworth, McAdenville, NC, Doris Auten, Gastonia, NC; 1 brother, Leonard Calvert Campbell, Gastonia, NC; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 3, 2004 at 2:00 PM from the First Baptist Church of Abbeville by the Rev. Reiny Koschel. The burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery. The family is at the home of her daughter Mrs. Wilma Reeves, 306 Hillcrest Drive, Abbeville.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Building Fund, PO Box 825, Abbeville, SC 29620.
The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday evening.

Carl D. Enlow
CHAPPELLS – Carl D. Enlow, 81, widower of Ernestine Bickley Enlow, died Thursday, July 1, 2004.
Born in Newberry, he was a son of the late George Silas and Ada McCullough Enlow. He was a World War II Army veteran, a retired employee of Newberry Lumber Co. and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Roger D. Enlow of Chappells, Wallace E. Enlow of Greenwood and Roy Mikel Enlow of Newberry; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are 2 p.m. Sunday in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 5-6 today at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.

Thomas Goode Johnson
GREENVILLE — The service time for Thomas Goode “Boy” Johnson, of 18 Rebecca St., is changed to 1 p.m. today at Old Mount Zion Baptist Church, Epworth. The body will be placed in the church at noon.
Parks Funeral Home, Greenwood, is in charge.

Marian Haralson
Marian Hodges Haralson, 75, of 510 Deadfall Road, wife of Thomas Martin “Tommy” Haralson, died Friday, July 2, 2004 at her home.
Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Carlton and Lucille Anderson Hodges Wilkie. She retired from Greenwood Mills Plant No. 5 after 25 years of service. A member of Greenwood Baptist Church, she was also a member of the Golden Ages Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband of the home; a son, John Thomas Haralson of Greenwood; two daughters, Joan H. Bratcher of Ninety Six and Gail H. Turner of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Blyth Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. James Boling. Burial is in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Tommy Turner, Martin Haralson, Mark Bratcher, Michael Bratcher, Denton Ouzts and Matt Golf.
Honorary escorts for the service are John Whitt, Lee Kwist, Ansel Brewer, Ray Tripp, Gene McNeil and Furman Ponder.
Visitation is 6-8 Sunday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.

Cynthia ‘Tina’ Blocker
Cynthia “Tina” Thompson Blocker, 42, of 102 Barley Drive, wife of Walter Blocker, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of Mary Thompson and the late Jesse Thompson Sr. She was a 1979 graduate of Ninety Six High School, a former employee of Fuji Film and a member of Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Promised Land and the Missionary Society.
Survivors include her husband of Greenwood; her mother of Ninety Six; a daughter, Kenequa S. Thompson of the home; a son, Nikolas Gassaway Blocker of the home; three stepsons, Rafeal Floyd, Calvet Quarles and Christopher Slappy, all of Greenwood; six brothers, Willie Mayes, Harold Thompson and Marvin Thompson, all of Greenwood, William Thompson, James Thompson and Carl Thompson, all of Ninety Six; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Barbara) Crenshaw of Ninety Six.
The family is at the home of her sister, Mrs. Frank (Barbara) Crenshaw, 101 Quince St., Magnolia Place, Ninety Six.
Services will be announced by Robinson & Son Mortuary Inc.

Ralph Bonner
McCORMICK — Ralph W. Bonner, 67, of Savannah Lakes Village, husband of Jackie Smalley Bonner, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004.
He was born in Lincoln County, Ga. During his career with Life of Georgia, he lived in Greensboro, Washington , Athens and Jacksonville.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kenneth Bonner; two daughters, Patricia Bush and Liz Hopkins; a sister, Martha Pruitt; five grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. today at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Burial is in Greenview Cemetery, Greensboro.
Beggs Funeral Home, 200 May Ave., Lincolnton, Ga., is in charge.

Early Brownlee
ABBEVILLE — Early Brownlee, of 409 Cambridge St., husband of Jannie Ruth Brown Brownlee, died Friday, July 30, 2004 at Abbeville County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Abbeville, he was a son of the late Alex Hunter and Leola Hamilton. He was a hospital worker in the health industry for 30 years and a member of Flat Rock A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include his wife of the home; five sons, Early Brownlee Jr., Dwight Brownlee and Gerald Brownlee, all of Abbeville, Michael Brownlee and Anthony Brownlee, both of New York; three daughters, Sallie Mae Brownlee and Yvonne Brownlee, both of New York and Janet Brownlee of Abbeville; two brothers, Ernestine Brownlee of Philadelphia and Jesse Hamilton of Level Land; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Flat Rock A.M.E. Church, Abbeville County, conducted by the Rev. Wayman Coleman III. The body will be placed in the church at 1. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Viewing is 11 a.m.-8 p.m. today at Richie Funeral Home.
Visitation is at the home.

Terry Lee Chappell
Services for Terry Lee Chappell, of 136 Independence Way, are 3 p.m. Wednesday at Dunham Temple C.M.E. Church, conducted by the Rev. Norris Turner. The body will be placed in the church at 2. Burial is in Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Laurens Highway.
Pallbearers are nephews and friends. Flower bearers are nieces and friends.
The family is at the home of his sister, Linda Baylor, 163 Callison Drive.

McCORMICK — Services for Bernice Kelly Duncan, of Westowne Apartments, are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Chapel A.M.E. Church, conducted by the Rev. Jackie Whitted, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Otis Cunningham. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers are Wade Gaston, Willie Cartledge, Henry Kelly, Erthy Duncan Sr., Glen Gaston and Erthy Gaston Jr.
Flower bearers are nieces.
The family is at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Crystal) Parks, 211 Virginia Ave., Greenwood.

WEST COLUMBIA — Edward Frank Figurski, 77, of 100 Sausage Lane, husband of Irene Ankuta Figurski, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004 at Heartland of Lexington. Services will be announced by Blyth Funeral Home.

Eric Hamby
WARE SHOALS — Eric Edgar “Scrump” Hamby, 20, of 477 Poplar Springs Road, son of Kenneth and Patty Hamby, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
The family is at 158 Mountain Shore Drive, Greenwood.
Services will be announced by Blyth Funeral Home, Greenwood.

Linnie Starr Nichols
CLOVER — Linnie Catherine Starr Nichols, 87, of 1230 Tom Joye Road, died Saturday, July 31, 2004 at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, N.C.

Vince V. Peace
EASLEY — Vince Verone Peace, 33, of 127 Meadowood Lane, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004.
A native of Easley, he was a son of Jiles Verone Peace and Vicki Greeson Peace. He was an employee with CSE and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother of Hull, Ga., his father and stepmother, Teresa H. Peace, of Easley; two sisters, Veronica P. Thompson and Kari P. Grindstaff, both of Easley; paternal grandmother, Mary H. Peace of Easley; maternal grandmother, Jean Scougin of Hull.
Services are 3 p.m. today at Robinson Funeral Home, Powdersville Road, Easley. Burial is in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 2-3 today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Rock Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642.

Infant Hans Riehl
DUE WEST — Infant Hans Gabriel Riehl died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.
He was a son of Arlan and Angie Miller Riehl.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Adam Riehl; maternal grandparents, Ethan and Ida Mae Miller; paternal grandparents, Abner and Sally Ann Riehl.
Graveside services were Monday in Whispering Pines Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Mary Harrison
Mary Hodges Harrison, 81, of 504 Lodge Drive, wife of William H. Harrison, died Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late James Bailey and Margaret Marbert Hodges. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Henry Reynolds Sunday School Class of the church.
Survivors include her husband of the home; a daughter, Perrin H. Rutter of Moran, Wyo.; two sons, William H. Harrison Jr. of Johns Island and James H. Harrison of Columbia; a sister, Marjorie H. West of Moncks Corner; 6 grandchildren.
Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Revs. David Mayo and Hal West. A private family burial is in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
Honorary escorts are members of the Henry Reynolds Sunday School Class, along with Gordon Bailes, George Ballentine, Nell Squires, Murray Good, Douglas Good and Mary Wideman.
Visitation is in the church social hall after the service.
The family is at the home in Lodge Grounds.
