This started as a hobby with the purchase of three grade horses for her daughters and herself. After taking riding lessons, attending horse shows and getting to know local horse people, Mom settled upon the Arabian horse as her favorite. Mom purchased her first pure bred Arab in 1970 and that led to many more. She started Fallissa Farm in the mid 70’s and specialized in the Skowronek line of Arab horses. Mom was active in the breeding and showing of her horses in the Pacific Northwest until the late 80’s.
