Rosella J. Enyart
Rosella J. “Tootie” Enyart, “Wahca Waste Win,” 87, of Prior Lake, MN, died on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at her home. She was the eldest member of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community.
A Prayer Service for Rosella was held on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. at the Tiowakan Spiritual Center, Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, conducted by the Reverend Marlene Whiterabbit Helgemo. Funeral Services were held on Friday, May 5, 2006 10:00 a.m. at the Karvonen Funeral Home, New York Mills, MN. Burial followed at the Richville Cemetery in Richville, MN.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, after 6:00 p.m. at the Tiowakan Spiritual Center at the Mdewakanton Sioux Community with a Traditional American Indian All-Night Wake. Further visitation was held on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Karvonen Funeral Home, New York Mills, MN. Pallbearers were Gayle Rencountre, Curtis Zacharias, Daniel Woody, Donald Wideman, Paul and Lee Enyart Rosella was born in Redwood Falls, MN, on March 14, 1919, to Henry and Jessie (Coursolle) Larsen.
She married Donald Enyart on August 14, 1937, in Redwood Falls, MN. She was a homemaker.
Rosella is survived by a son, Clarence Enyart of Shakopee, MN; a daughter, Loretta (David) Zacharias of Prior Lake, MN; and a host of special nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald; son Gordon; daughters Maxine Woody, Sylvia Blue, and Roberta Doughty; and parents Henry and Jessie Larsen.
McNearney Funeral Home of Shakopee, MN, was in charge of arrangements.

Sally Ann Purcell
Funeral service for Sally Ann Purcell, 62 of Summit, SD was held on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hope Lutheran Church in Summit, SD with Rev. Justin Neugebauer officiating. Pallbearers were Jeff Hopkins, Kevin Jensen, Dave Lewandowski, Steve Seifert, George Ross and Duane Lewandowski. Honorary Pallbearers were all of Sally’s Family and Friends. Organist was Val Moen and special music was provided by Jan and Deverne Rickard. There was visitation on Friday, May 5, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment was at the Summit City Cemetery, Summit, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel of Sisseton, SD, was in charge of the arrangements.
Sally was born on July 28, 1943 in Mounds Park, MN, to Harold and Florence (Strand) Christian-son. She grew up and attended school at White Bear High School. Following her education she was united in marriage to Eugene H. Purcell on July 28, 1962 at St. Paul, MN.
Sally did a lot of babysitting when she was younger. She worked for Recycling Unlimited, a potato chip factory, a cleaning service and was employed at Sherburn Halfway House as a cook and an AA instructor.
Following their retirement they moved back to the Summit, SD, area. Sally like to cross-stitch, draw cartoons, play Scrabble and go to Bingo. Eugene passed away on April 5, 2005.
Sally passed away on May 1, 2006 in Medford, OR, while visiting her twin sister.
Sally is survived by four daughters, Shirley and husband (Stacy) Thaden of Summit, SD, Clarissa Purcell of Canistota, SD, Betty and husband (Steven) Seifert of Springfield, SD, and Roseann Purcell of Valley Springs, SD; her twin sister, Susan Owens of Medford, OR; four brothers, Howard and wife, Pam Christianson of North St. Paul, MN, Marvin and wife, Yvonne Christianson of Spring Brooks, WI, Steven and Marianne Christianson of White Bear, MN, and Robert and wife, Cheryl Christianson of Vadnes Heights, MN; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one grandson, Steve Arthur Carl Seifert Jr. ; and one brother, Harold Christianson Jr.

Gordon Nelson
Funeral service for Gordon Dean Nelson, 76 of Hendricks, MN, Sun City, AZ and formerly of Sisseton, SD was held on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church, Hendricks, MN with the Rev. G. Duane Baun officiating. The organist was Julie Hogie and the soloist was Duane Hogie. Pallbearers were Donald Erickson, Luther Eidem, Richard Johnson, George Coners, Richard Christianson, Myron Olson and Patrick Coyle. Military Rites were provided by Reuben Hansen American Legion Post #195. Interment was in the Sisseton Cemetery, Sisseton, SD on Saturday, May 6, 2006 around 2:30 p.m. There was visitation on Saturday, May 6, 2006 one hour prior to services at the church. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD and The Birk Funeral Chapel, Hendricks, MN were in charge of arrangements.
Gordon was born on May 8, 1929 in Sisseton, SD to Gustave and Madeline (Barker) Nelson. Gordon worked for Bell Telephone Company in Sisseton, Mobridge and Huron for 38 years and was active in Telephone Pioneers, Boy Scouts, Sertoma Club and Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Gordon was involved in Huron Hockey, loved spending time with his grandchildren, traveling abroad, was a Senior Olympian gold medallist in bocce in Arizona, and loved being at the lake, playing cards and being with friends.
Gordon passed away on April 30, 2006 at his home in Sun City, AZ.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Emojean; three daughters, Marcia (John) Hadjis of Hattiesburg, MS, Marita Steffen of Sioux Falls, SD, and Michelle (Craig) Ausmann of Newcastle, WY; two sons, Brad Nelson of Sun City, AZ and Brian (Vicki) Nelson of Sioux Falls, SD; one brother Merv (Phyllis) Nelson of Surprise, AZ; two sisters, Gloria (Leo) Plut of Sioux Falls, SD and Muriel Nelson of Sioux Falls, SD; eight grandchildren, Courtney, Gabriel, Kristen, Ruth-Anne, Carli, Jacob, Lukas and Calbi; and his mother-in-law Gladies Johnson of Thief River Falls, MN.
Gordon was preceded in death by his son, Steven; his parents, Gustave and Madeline; his grandson, Tanner Ausmann; and his father-in-law, Arnold Johnson.

Donald Richard Olson
Donald Richard Olson died December 18, 2005 in St. Paul, MN.
He was born June 7, 1933 in Sisseton, SD to George H. Olson and Edna (nee Bauman) Olson. Donald graduated from Chester High School. He was a veteran. Donald lived in South St. Paul, MN for many years and worked at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport as a Security Guard. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Maurice Opsal
Funeral service for Maurice Opsal, 91 of Sisseton, SD, was held on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Sisseton, SD, with Rev. Avis (Opsal) Osland, and Rev. Steve Slaamot officiating. Organist was Steve Eneboe with special music by Robert and LeAnn Backman. Pallbearers were Michael Dozal, Kenny Nelson, Monty and Bradley Opsal, Dustin Schmaus and Jonathan Long. Honorary Pallbearers were The Sisseton Volunteer Fire Department. Interment was in the Sisseton Cemetery, Sisseton, SD. There was visitation on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cahill Funeral Chapel. There was also visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The First Assembly of God Church, with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service. Visitation was held again on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 one hour prior to services at the church. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton was in charge of arrangements.
Maurice Willard Opsal was born on September 2, 1914 in Sisseton, SD, to Ole and Ollie (Eggen) Opsal. He attended Sisseton schools. He lived at home and helped his family. He volunteered for the Civil Conservation Corp.
Maurice was united in marriage to Arlette Johnson on October 31, 1940 in Webster, SD. They made their home in Sisseton. Maurice owned and operated MW Opsal Trucking. He worked for Standard Oil, Bradbury Road Construction and for the South Dakota Department of Highways as a truck driver and blade operator retiring in 1976. Arlette passed away on May 6, 1986. He followed in his father footsteps and was a fire fighter and at the time of his retirement in 1987, and he holds the longest tenure at 45 plus years of service
Maurice was united in marriage to Vivian Peterson on February 14, 1988, at the First Assembly of God Church in Sisseton. Maurice was a member of The First Assembly of God Church and Sisseton Senior Citizens. Maurice enjoyed life and the outdoors. He loved to fish and hunted birds and game. His garden was his greatest love. He was known for all his tomatoes and etc. He trimmed trees, tilled gardens, sharpened chain saws for everyone. He was never idle. Retirement gave him more time for the things he loved, including games and his family
Maurice and Vivian entered the Greenleaf Living Center seven months ago. Maurice passed away on May 5, 2006 at the Coteau des Prairies Hospital in Sisseton, SD.
Maurice is survived by his wife, Vivian of Sisseton, SD; seven children, Arlyn (Alice) Opsal of Sisseton, SD, Duane (Judy) Opsal of St Michael, MN, Barbara (Richard) Gray of Westminster, CO, Nova (Truman) Nelson of Sisseton, SD, Sharon (Merle) Schmaus of South St. Paul, MN, Cheryl (Jim) Long of Sisseton, SD, and David (Pam) Perreault of Eden Prairie, MN; three sisters, Wanda Opsal of Sioux Falls, SD, Rev. Avis Osland of St. Thomas, ND, and Yvonne Carlson of Spring-field, MS; 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Maurice was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Arlette; two brothers, Arnold and Carston Opsal; and three sisters, Eva, Agnes, and Esther.

Florence Larson
The celebration of life for Florence Larson was held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at the Claremont United Methodist Church in Claremont, SD. Reverend Ryan Mutzenberger officiated, with burial in the Britton Cemetery, Britton, SD.
Visitation was held from 2-4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at the Price Funeral Chapel of Britton, SD, and resumed at 6:30 p.m. at the church in Claremont, SD, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. There was also visitation one hour preceding the funeral at the church.
Mrs. Larson died Thursday, May 4, 2006 at Wheatcrest Hills in Britton, SD, at the age of 93.
Florence Leona Borchers was born September 21, 1912 on the family farm near Claremont, SD, to Charles and Nannie Mae (Garner) Borchers. She attended rural Freeland School graduating from the eighth grade.
On February 26, 1931 she married Emil J. Larson in Spink County, SD. They lived in the rural Claremont, SD, area for ten years, and in 1941 moved to a farm north of Britton, SD, where they began farming. In 1944 they moved to the Borchers’ family farm near Claremont, SD. Emil died December 1, 1984. Florence continued to live on the farm where she was born, until January 2006 when her health failed.
Florence was a member of the Claremont United Methodist Church for over 50 years, and had been active in the U.M.W. She served as church custodian for 24 years. She loved crocheting, and had made many afghans for her family. She was also an excellent baker. She loved her family, country living, flowers and birds. Florence will be greatly missed by her family, friends and those who cared for her and grew to love her in the last months of her life.
Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Bob (Clarice) Larson of Willcox, AZ, Janet (Jim) Drewitz of Faribault, MN, Lylia (Don) Miller of Houghton, SD, Dean Larson (friend Dorothy Petrich) of Claremont, SD, and Diane (Stuart) Eberhart of Britton; SD; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; four step-great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, one brother and one grandchild.
Music for the prayer service was presented by Betty Stanley, pianist and David Wade, soloist. Music for the funeral was provided by Yvonne Gibbs, pianist; Joan Thompson, organist; and Pastor Bill Duncan, soloist.
Casketbearers were Florence’s grandsons, Alan Larson, Larry Larson, Doug Larson, Rob Larson, Brent Miller, Terry Drewitz, Mike Drewitz, Kipp Larson, Kurtis Larson, Dan Grupe, Ehren Grupe and Derrick “D.J.” Grupe.
Honorary casketbearers were Florence’s granddaughters, Kathy Binger, Karen Larson, Nancy Gaethje, Cheri Roettele, Stacey Sumption, JaNann Jones, JaKelle Hardy and JuliAnna Stern.

Jordis Odland
The funeral for Jordis Oland was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Veblen, SD, with Rev. Harold Watrous officiating. Burial was in the Veblen Cemetery under the direction of the Price Funeral Chapel of Britton, SD. Visitation was held one hour preceding the funeral at the church on Thursday, May 11.
Mrs. Oland died Friday, May 5, 2006 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND, at the age of 94.
Jordis B. Smulan was born December 23, 1911 near Garret-son, SD, to Kristian and Gusta (Froseth) Smulan. She moved with her family of four sisters to Marshall County, SD at the age of four. She received her elementary education at Nordland Grade School, and later attended Veblen High School. Due to her father’s failing health, she was unable to complete her high school education, as she was needed to help at home.
On November 25, 1947 she married Sidney Oland. They farmed in the Veblen area until 1974, when they moved into Veblen. Sidney died June 2, 1982 and Jordis remained in her own home in Veblen, until the time of her own death.
Jordis had been a member of the Trondhjem Lutheran Church of rural Veblen, until it closed, and was currently a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She loved crafts and crocheting. Jordis was an accomplished quilter, and had served as the leader of the quilting group at church for many years.
She leaves to mourn her passing one son, Odine Smulan and wife, Donna of Crookston, MN; a granddaughter, Darcy Pester and husband, Mark of Crookston, MN; a grandson, Darren Smulan of Crookston, MN; four great-grandchildren, Carmen Pester, Christian Pester, Kelsey Smulan and Missy Smulan; and a sister, Lillian Guy of Veblen, SD; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three sisters, Clara, Mary and Gudrun.
Music for the funeral was provided by Karen Hornseth, organist and Thea Loy Pallansch, soloist. Casketbearers were LeRoy Aadland, Lorne Aadland, Clarence Olson, Melvin Oland, Earl Medhaug and Edwin Brubakken.

Wilmur Bauer
Memorial service for Wilmur Dale Bauer, 77 of Summit, SD was held on Monday, May 15, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at the Hope Lutheran Church in Summit, SD, with Rev. Janine Rew-Werling officiating. Organist was Val Moen with special music by Jan and Deverne Rickard. Interment will be at a later date. The Cahill Funeral Chapel of Sisseton, SD was in charge of arrangements.
Wilmur was born on October 4, 1928 in Ida Grove, IA, to Gustave and Elouise (Welsh) Bauer. He attended Ida Grove Country School. Following his education Wilmur worked for area farmers. Wilmur entered the United States Air Force on July 25, 1950 and served until July 24, 1954. He was at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX, completing his Basic Training as an Air Force Police-man. He was also stationed at Empire Air Base in Michigan, Sandia Air Base, Albuquerque, NM, and Caribou Air Force Station, Limestone, ME. He received the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Wilmur was united in marriage to Dolly Mae Lewis on November 10, 1951 in Traverse City, MI.
He was a heavy equipment mover in Sioux Falls for a few years. Then he drove truck over the road for many years until his retirement. He was employed with area farmers on and off for many years. He enjoyed spending time in his workshop, working in the yard, and enjoyed visiting with his many friends over coffee, and watching sports on TV.
Wilmur passed away on May 9, 2006 at Prairie Lakes Hospital, Watertown, SD.
Wilmur is survived by his wife Dolly Bauer of Summit, SD; four children, Ilene Perez of Sioux Falls, SD, Dale Bauer of Summit, SD, Keith Bauer and special friend, Lacie Magnuson of Summit, SD, and Ann and husband Tim Meyer of Clark, SD; two sisters, Loretta and husband Neal Kane of Summit, SD, Mrs. Evelyn Rogge of Milbank, SD; two brothers Arlyn and wife Nadine Bauer of Ponca City, OK and Elwood Bauer of Kellogg, ID; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Wilmur was preceded in death by his parents.

Monte Holm
Monte Holm (a former Peever resident) died on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 1:12 p.m. in Moses Lake, WA.
Holm was a Moses Lake (WA) businessman, Great Depression-era hobo, sheepherder, scrap metal tycoon, rail line owner, former Moses Lake city councilman, House of Poverty museum owner, and mural subject.
Holm's daughter, Karen Rimple, said he passed away peacefully, and the family still wants to have a ceremony dedicating the mural which depicts Holm at various stages in his lifetime as planned at 11 a.m. on May 13.
Rimple said Holm requested no services, memorial or flowers.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, Ruth; his daughter Karen and her husband Wayne Rimple; two grandsons and their wives, Larry and wife Rika and Steven and wife Carmen; and five great-grandsons.
Holm spent his youth in Clarkston, the son of a Lutheran minister. His mother died when he was about 6, and he went to live with an aunt for about nine months until her death. He left his home with his father and stepmother when he was 13.
During his six years as a hobo during the Great Depression, Holm traveled all over the United States on trains, working off and on as a sheepherder in Montana during that time.

Matthew Lenssen
Matthew Joseph Lenssen, 85, Browns Valley, MN, died Friday, May 5, 2006, at Coteau des Prairies Hospital in Sisseton, SD.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 8, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Browns Valley, MN, with Father Stan Wieser officiating. Music was provided by organist Norma Jung, the St. Anthony’s Choir, and members of the Browns Valley Community Choir.
Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Vichich, Donald Howard, John Lamers, Stanley Hippen, James Lamers, and Edward Lamers, Jr. Visitation was held Sunday, May 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Browns Valley, MN.
Visitation continued Monday one hour prior to the service at the church. The Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt, SD, was in charge of the arrangements.
Matt was born September 17, 1920, to Henry and Emma (Fonder) Lenssen in Roberts County at his family farm. He was baptized at St. Peter’s Church in Sisseton, SD. He attended rural school in Becker Township.
Matt married Marcella Cardwell on September 25, 1941, and farmed in Roberts County until 1952 when he moved onto a farm north of Browns Valley, MN. They had no children, and Marcella passed away from cancer May 9, 1967.
Matt married Carol Anderson Quesnell from Minneapolis, MN, on June 18, 1968, in Delano, MN. Carol and her four children moved to Browns Valley to live on the family farm. They had a son, Matthew Henry, on October 30, 1970. They moved to town in 1979 and retired from farming in the late 1980’s.
Matt farmed his whole life. He also raised dairy and stock cattle. In addition, he did custom baling, combining, silage, and corn picking for neighbors. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida and California to visit his siblings and their families. After retiring, he still enjoyed growing a garden and picking fresh vegetables. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Carol, and four step-children and ten step-grandchildren, Rita Quesnell of Grand Rapids, MN, and her children Jennifer, Julie and Janelle Dobbs; Vera Vichich and her husband Paul of Starbuck, MN, and their children Lee, Gail and Jill Vichich; Curt Quesnell and his wife Deb of Newfolden, MN, and their children Carson and Adam Quesnell; and Steve Quesnell and his wife Kris of Anoka, MN, and their children Madisen and Maxwell Quesnell. He is also survived by one son, Matthew Lenssen and his wife Stacie of Watertown, SD, and their children Abigail and Nicholas Lenssen; and three sisters, Teresa Hippen of Sisseton, SD, Leona Staber of Simi Valley, CA, and Viola Shoe of Paso Robles, CA.
Matt was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Marcella; five sisters, Margaret Lamers, Laura Peterson, Elma Petranek, Mary Howard, and Rita Whelton; and two brothers, Leonard and Leo Lenssen.

ElMarie Paananen
ElMarie Bette Paananen died Sunday, May 7, 2006 at her home in Rapid City, SD.
She was born in Webster, SD on October 31, 1939. Her parents were Ray and Eleanor Opitz. She was raised on a farm, and she was a true Rodeo Queen.
The family moved in 1960 to Rapid City where ElMarie started her own business as a beautician. Her shop was located next to Parkway Restaurant. She also started playing music and was a big hit in several bands.
In 1963 she was married to Wayne David Paananen. They had a son, Michael Todd Paananen. They moved to several different states settling in Minnesota for several years, returning to Rapid City in the late 70’s where she started working with her brother in the salvage business tearing apart transmissions and melting them for the aluminum. Eventually she returned to what she loved, music, the beautician business and gardening. ElMarie was the hardest working woman many people ever met, and if she liked you it was guaranteed your life would be changed for the better. She was a one-of-a-kind and will be missed very much by many.
Survivors include her son, Michael Todd Paananen of Rapid City, SD; one sister, Kathy Fagerland of Rapid City, SD; one grandson, Dylan Paananen of Rapid City, SD and her granddaughter, Courtney Ming of Great Falls, MT.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ronnie Opitz.
Visitation was held at the Osheim-Catron Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2006 with a Christian Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mass of Christian Burial was offered at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2006 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help with Rev. Marcin Garbacz presiding.
Interment was at the Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Osheim-Catron Funeral Home of Rapid City was in charge of arrangements.

Roger A. “Boots” Fisher
The funeral for Roger A. “Boots” Fisher was held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Veblen, SD, with Rev. Harold Watrous officiating. Visitation was held 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2006, at the Price Funeral Chapel in Britton, SD, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. There was also visitation one hour preceding the funeral at the church on Saturday. Burial was at St. Matthew’s Cemetery of rural Veblen, SD, with Military Honors by Eddie Robertson Post #76 of the American Legion of Veblen, SD.
Roger’s children served as casketbearers, and his grandchildren, and great-grandchild along with his nieces and nephews served as honorary casketbearers. Music for the funeral was provided by Coleen Halverson, organist, with Lucas Lentsch, soloist.
Roger (Boots) passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at the Marshall County Healthcare Center in Britton, SD, at the age of 65 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Roger A. "Boots" Fisher was born November 21, 1940 in St. Paul, MN, to Joseph and Bernice (Stenseth) (Impecoven) Fisher. He lived with his family in St. Paul for a few years, before moving with them to California, where they lived for a short time.
The family settled in the Hillhead, SD area, where Roger (“Boots”) attended school. He later worked in the family business, the Fisher Fur Farm, in Hillhead. In 1959, he served for a short time in the U. S. Army.
He was married to Wanda Johnson on November 27,1960. They lived primarily in California and later in Colorado. He worked for Union Oil in California, and wired busses in Colorado at NEOPLAN. He also operated the Pumpkin Center Truck Stop in Colorado for a period of time.
In the early 1990's, Roger returned to Veblen, SD, and was employed at Rein Construction as a heavy equipment operator.
On March 9, 2004 he married Vicky Stiegelmeier in LaJunta, CO, after being together for several years. They made their home there, and in Veblen, SD.
Boots was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and the Eddie Robertson Post #76 of the American Legion, both of Veblen. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Boots was an avid NASCAR race fan, and had done stock racing himself. He had raced at Ascot Park in California, and the Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD. He loved to tinker with his race cars.
Roger is survived by his wife, Vicky Fisher of Veblen; seven children, Danny (Bea) Fisher of Houston, TX, Michelle (Carlos) Leonard, Robert Fisher, Yvonne (Doug) Darling of Karval, CO, Joseph (Shannon) Fisher of Houston, TX, James Fisher and Tye Fisher of Veblen, SD; two brothers, Charles (Linda) Fisher of Florence CO, and Jan Fisher of LaJunta, CO; three sisters, DeeDee (Benjamin) MacConnell, Dodie (Eldean “Stub”) Rein of Veblen, SD, and Debbie Smykowski of LaJunta, CO; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents
