Clarence Davidson

Birth date: July 16, 1915
Death date: May 31, 2011

Clarence Davidson, 95 of Watertown and formerly of Milbank and Waubay died on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Watertown.
His funeral will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Fiksdal Funeral Chapel in Webster, Rev. Janet Miller will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday 2-4 P.M. and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Clarence Reuben Davidson was born on Friday, July 16, 1915 to Albert and Alma (Amundson) Davidson on the family farm in Lynn Township, Day County, South Dakota northwest of Holmquist.
He attended country school near his home and then helped his parents on the family farm. In 1938 the family moved to Ortley where he worked at the family gas station. During World War II he was employed at a defense plant in Bremerton, Washington for several years.
On March 27, 1949 he was united in marriage to Violet Gramberg at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Waubay. After their marriage the couple made their home and farmed the Gramberg family farm south of Ortley. In 1954 they moved to Milbank where he operated a gas station for ten years, worked at the granite quarry for ten years and worked with the Green Thumb Program for ten years. In 1987 he retired and they moved to Waubay and in 2002 the couple moved to Watertown. He entered Bethesda Home in Webster in 2004 and then in 2007 entered the Golden Living Center in Watertown.
He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Waubay. He loved music and played with the “Scandinavians” dance band. He was proud to be a Norwegian.
Clarence passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Watertown, South Dakota at the age of 95 years, 10 months and 15 days.
Survivors include his wife, Violet of Watertown; two sisters, Prudence Orton and Arlene Hovland both of Webster, SD; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Albin, Scotty and Lester and one sister, Dorothy Dorsett.

Anthony (Tony) Lewandowski

Birth date: January 19, 1943
Death date: June 05, 2011

Tony Lewandowski, 68, of Grenville died on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Strand-Kjorsvig Rest Home in Roslyn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 9, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grenville with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday 2-4 P.M. then continuing at the church until 8 P.M. with a 7 P.M. Rosary.
Anthony “Tony” Roman Lewandowski was born on Tuesday, January 19, 1943 to Joseph and Agnes (Block) Lewandowski at Waubay, South Dakota. The family lived on a farm east of Grenville near Pickerel Lake. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grenville and he attended country school near his home. After he received his education he farmed near Pickerel Lake. He moved to Rapid City where he was engaged in carpentry work and bartending.
On August 24, 1963 he married Sharon Johnson, to this union four children were born. The couple moved to Rosemont, Minnesota where he was employed at the Thermo King Co. They returned to the Grenville area in 1968 where he operated a resort on Pickerel Lake. In 1979 he sold the resort and worked various bartending jobs in the area. He married Donna Anderson on October 15, 1988 at Webster. The couple continued to live in Grenville. He retired in 2000 because of health problems.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grenville. He enjoyed fishing and visiting with family and friends. He liked taking his dog, Sparky, for rides and he enjoyed making people laugh.
Tony passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Roslyn, South Dakota at the age of 68 years, 4 months and 17 days.
Survivors include two sons, Mark (Melissa) Lewandowski of Rapid City, SD and Greg Lewandowski of Sioux Falls, SD; two daughters, Kelly (Don) VanWinkle of Marengo, IL and Staci (Darin) Rumpza of Waubay, SD; his mother, Agnes Lewandowski of Roslyn, SD; five brothers, Edwin (Dorothy) Lewandowski of Webster, SD, Donald (Genevieve) Lewandowski of Grenville, SD, Kenny (Claudia) Lewandowski of New Ulm, MN, Dennis (Letha) Lewandowski of Webster, SD and Eugene (Lola) Lewandowski of Forman, ND; three sisters, Arlene Samson of Hartley, IA, Marilyn Miotke of Grenville, SD and Collette (Lyle) Carlson of Webster, SD; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and two grandchildren.

Larry Jerde

Birth date: December 08, 1950
Death date: June 07, 2011

Larry Jerde, 60 of Watertown passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 07, 2011 in Watertown.
His funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Watertown, Rev. Iver Possehl officiating, burial will be at Ortley Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday 5-7 P.M. at the church in Watertown with a 6:30 P.M. prayer service.
Larry Jerde was born on Friday, December 8, 1950 to Verle and Shirley (Peeper) Jerde at Webster, South Dakota. The family lived on a farm in Egeland Township, Day County, south of Waubay. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waubay. He started country school near his home and graduated from Waubay High School in 1969 then continued his education at S.D.S.U. in Brookings and then transferred to North State College where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1973. In 1975 he obtained his Certified Public Accountant license.
On January 25, 1971 he married Krista McKane at Waubay, to this union four daughters were born. The couple made their home in Aberdeen where he worked for Harlan Peterson accounting firm. In 1977 they moved to Gillette, Wyoming and in 1978 moved to Watertown. He started his own accounting firm in 1979 and operated for 31 years until the present time. He was united in marriage to Glenda Long on April 8, 1989. After they joined their families together, they raised nine children in Watertown. As Larry would say “they were two fools collided," but they raised their kids together as one in love making a house a home. Larry and Glenda worked together side by side to build Larry’s accounting firm into what it is today.
He was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church where he served as Treasurer for several years. Larry was a son, brother, father, grandpa and friend. He had many interests including riding motorcycle, boating, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and riding horse, or relaxing at the cabin on Pickerel lake, which we have all experienced with him one way or another. His favorite hobby was his work, he loved accounting and strived to do the best in it. He was missed by many during those long hard days and nights that sooner or later turned into long months. We couldn’t wait for tax season to be over so we could spend the rare, extra time with him. He loved to celebrate holidays with family, we could all come together to eat drink, and either go snowmobiling or be pulled behind the boat, where you may have been skipped across the water after getting dumped off the tube.. Larry was a giving person with a big heart who tried to make sure everyone lived happily and comfortably. You could always count on him if you were in a jam. Larry was always one to bring good conversation with informational topics that would later be useful to others in their lives. Larry always gave laughs and entertainment to everyone around him, there was never a dull moment. Larry will be missed, but always kept in our hearts.
Larry passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Watertown, South Dakota at the age of 60 years, 5 months and 30 days.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda of Watertown; four daughters, Candy Jerde of Watertown, Tanya (Charles) Jones of Milbank, Trisha Jerde of Tempe, AZ and Carmen Jerde (& special friend, Darin Gruba) of Milbank; two step-sons, Jess (Kristin) Haman of Sioux Falls and Jason Hamman of Colton; two step-daughters, Stacey (Travis) Denison of Lake Preston and Stephanie Utne (& special friend, Jeff Koehn) of Watertown; his mother, Shirley Jerde of Waubay; two brothers, Alan (Dede) Jerde of Waubay and Dale (Brenda) Jerde of Florence; one sister, Karen Mikkelson of Watertown; nine grandsons and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his father and a step-daughter.

Marion Sandal

Birth date: December 16, 1921
Death date: June 11, 2011

Marion Sandal, 89 of Webster died Saturday June 11, 2011 at Sanford Hospital in Webster.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday June 17, 2011 at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster.
Visitation will be prior to the service. Burial will be in the Webster Cemetery.
Marion Hazel Erickson was born on December 16, 1921 to Martin and Emma (Braly) Erickson at Webster, South Dakota. She was confirmed at St. Pauli Evangelical Lutheran Church near Wallace, South Dakota on September 19, 1937. Marion graduated from eighth grade at Day County District No. 173 on June 19, 1937. After her education she worked for various families in the Webster area doing housework.
On March 22, 1940, she married Selmer Reuben Sandal at the Lutheran Parsonage at Pierpont, South Dakota. To this union two children were born, LeRoy and Betty. The family made their home on the Sandal farmstead ten miles northwest of Webster. While Selmer was engaged in beef/cattle farming, Marion was a devoted stay at home mom and housewife. Mr. Sandal passed away on December 5, 1992. Marion remained on the farm with her son, LeRoy, until he passed away in February of 2001. She then moved to the Helms Apartments in Webster. In October, 2009 she moved to the Downtown Manor in Webster and in December 2010, she entered the Bethesda Home in Webster.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, crossword puzzles, watching game shows, farm life and especially family gatherings.
Marion passed away Saturday June 11, 2011 at Webster, South Dakota at the age of 89 years, 5 months, and 26 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty (Wayne) Anderson, two grandsons, Tony (Heather) Anderson and Lance (Janell) Anderson, one granddaughter, Dana Anderson all of Mobridge, SD, six great-grandchildren, Mattiaus, Trishtyn, Dreyvan, Bethany, Emily, and Dacian. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Selmer of 52 years, one son LeRoy, eight brothers, six sisters, and one grandson Robert.

Harry Schmidt

Birth date: September 06, 1924
Death date: June 13, 2011

Harry Schmidt, 86 of Webster died on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Jenkins Living Center in Watertown.
His funeral will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday, June 17, 2011 at American Lutheran Church in Webster, Rev. Jan FitzGibbon officiating. Burial with military rites will be at Webster Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, 5-8 P.M. and prior to services on Friday.
Harry Franklin Schmidt was born on Saturday, September 6, 1924 to Franklin and Elizabeth (Krause) Schmidt on the family farm in Racine Township, Day County, South Dakota east of Webster. He attended country school near his home and graduated from Webster High School. After he received his education he worked for area farmers. In June 1945 he entered the U.S. Army and served stateside during World War II. After he was honorably discharged in May 1946 he returned to the family farm.
On March 31, 1950 he was united in marriage to Alice Solberg at Bristol, South Dakota. After their marriage the couple purchased the Schmidt family farm where they made their home and farmed. To this union five children were born. In 1960 he began working for the Day County Highway Department where he drove gravel truck while still continuing to farm. In 1976 the couple sold the farm and purchased a house just west of Webster. He retired from the Highway Department in 1990. The couple also cared for their son, Kevin until his death in 2002. Alice passed away in June 2009. He entered Jenkins Living Center in April 2011.
He was a member of American Lutheran Church in Webster where he had served on the Church Council and where the couple also served as custodians for fourteen years. Harry was a racing fan and enjoyed stockcars, NASCAR, and Indy racing. He had traveled to many racing events to watch his son, Allen and grandson, Jay. He also traveled to many Minnesota Twins games and enjoyed watching the Twins and Vikings with his family. The couple enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling to different areas. He also hunted and fished in the local area. He liked having coffee with his friends downtown and visiting family and friends.
Harry passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Watertown, South Dakota at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 7 days.
Survivors include one son, Allen (Judy) Schmidt of Watertown, SD; three daughters, Kathleen (Doug) Grupe of Webster, SD, Liana (Ron) Foltz of Watertown, SD and Rhonda (Paul) Sigaty of Aberdeen, SD; two brothers, Franklin Schmidt of Spearfish, SD and Robert (Sharon) Schmidt of Webster, SD; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, one sister and one brother.

arry Ihlen

Birth date: April 08, 1951
Death date: June 20, 2011

Larry DaVane Ihlen was born April 8th, 1951 in Webster, South Dakota to Harry and Mable Ihlen. He died June 27, 2010 at his home in Anchorage Alaska of natural causes at the age of 59.
Larry graduated from high school in Webster, South Dakota and earned a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. He would go on to fulfill a thirty year career working for the Federal Aviation Administration and Union President of NATCA.
A lover of nature, Larry was an avid outdoorsman, engaging in hunting, outdoor survival tactics and of course, fishing. Larry loved fishing and boating so much that he began his own charter operation, Fish Wish Charters out of Seward and Whittier Alaska. Larry and his family shared many memories fishing and laughing aboard their beautiful boat the ‘Wish Maker;’ memories that they will always cherish. He was a wonderful Captain whose first priority was always the safety of his crew and guests.
Despite his ‘rough around the edges’ and hearty appearance, “Lar Bear” (as he was known to his friends) had a gentle disposition paired with a heart that knew no bounds. An empathetic man and critical thinker, his uncanny wisdom and dry sense of humor was never short of brilliance and when he spoke, people listened. As a prolific writer and poet, Larry’s words and wisdom left an impact on everyone associated with him.
Survived by his wife, Sandi, son Vaughn, daughters Heather and Danielle, sisters Shirley Mae and Marlys and brother Harvey. He has 4 grandchildren, Brooklynn, Amber Mae, Destiny, Haley and Austin. His inlaws include Ruth Jean Shearer and Buddy Shearer.
Graveside committal of his ashes will be held in June.

Florin Hemminger, 83

Florin W. Hemminger, 83, Pierre, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, at McKennan Select Specialty Hospital, in Sioux Falls. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, with a 7 p.m. prayer and Masonic service that is open to the public at the Masonic Building in Pierre. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, in Pierre. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Pierre.

Florin was born May 15, 1925, at Highmore, to Floyd and Audrey (Morford) Hemminger. He attended all eight grades of school in rural Hyde County. He attended four years of high school at the South Dakota School of Agriculture at South Dakota State College at Brookings, graduating in 1943. Florin farmed with his father and brother until 1945, when he joined the Navy, assigned as a Seabee in a construction battalion serving in the Philippine Islands. His farming skills were used for operating large equipment to rebuild roads and runways. Florin farmed from 1947 to 1954 near Highmore and Harrold.

On Aug. 16, 1950, he and Marian Krull were married in Harrold. Linda Sue was born in 1952, and they moved to Pierre in August 1954.

Florin was employed at the Pierre Power Plant, Friman Oil Co., and the United States Postal Service. He began his own window business in 1962, which grew to F.W. Hemminger Building and Supply, a statewide home improvement icon. Florin continued to work his business until his death.

Florin was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Pierre, former Pierre JCs, Kiwanis — where he had perfect attendance for the past 33 years and was named Kiwanian of the Year several years and received the Kiwanis Distinguished Service Award, VFW, Elks, American Legion, and Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce serving on the agri-interest committee.

Worshipful Brother Florin W. Hemminger was a Mason for 59 years. He was a member and past master in Harrold and also a member in Pierre. Over the last 50-plus years of Masonry, Worshipful Brother Hemminger was an active member of many Masonic organizations, including Scottish Rite, York Rite, Shrine and Order of Eastern Star. Worshipful Brother Hemminger is a past most illustrious grand master of the Grand Council of Cryptic Masons of South Dakota, past grand commander of the Grand Commander of Knights Templar of South Dakota, past grand high priest of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of South Dakota, grand trustee emeritus of the Grand Lodge of South Dakota. Other Masonic organizations that Worshipful Brother Hemminger belonged to are Red Cross of Constantine, Knight of the York Cross of Honor, Order of the High Priesthood, Order of Thrice Illustrious Master, Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests, Masonic Veterans’ Association and South Dakota Masonic Lodge of Research.

Florin was a leader and admired for his can-do attitude. Thus, he held leadership positions in many organizations which benefited from his vision and willingness to always take on tough challenges. He was known as someone who was always helping others to accomplish their goals, whether it was to help a child receive medical care at a Shriner’s Hospital, make certain that the Shrine Circus was successful, deliver meals-on-wheels, visit nursing home or veteran’s home residents, assist friends to attend church or other events or help his granddaughters catch an elusive salmon in the Missouri River. He was happiest when with family and close friends and when helping others.

Florin is survived by Marian, his wife of 58 and a half years, of Pierre; daughter, Linda Hemminger Fisher, and her husband, Martin, of Adair, Iowa; three granddaughters, Livia Fisher, of Sioux Falls, and Laine and Lynae Fisher, of Adair, Iowa; sisters-in-law Betty Krull and Arlene Hemminger; nephews Kim, Kip (Deb), and Keith (Lynda) Krull, Don (Sandi) Hemminger, Randy (Ida) and Rick (Wendy) Johnson; nieces Dixie (Mike) Volek, Judy (Steve) Thiesse, Roberta Tingle, Jolynn (Scott) Kuhn; and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews and numerous close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Vira in infancy, and Vionna Johnson and brother-in-law Ivan, brother, Howard Hemminger, brother-in-law Louis Krull, mother-in-law Esther Krull Hoard and great-nephew Winston Hemminger.

Mary Asmussen, 91

Mary Asmussen, 91, of Pierre and formerly of Agar, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at her home in Pierre.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Friday, Jan. 16, at Christ Church Episcopal in Gettysburg with the Rev. John Tarrant officiating. Burial will follow in the Onida Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 15, at the Luce Funeral Home in Gettysburg with the family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Mary Margaret Brake was born Oct. 23, 1917, to Margaret (Funston) and Bernard Brake in Madison. When Mary was very young, the family moved to Mitchell. As a young girl she helped in her parents’ café as a cashier. She graduated from Mitchell Public Schools in 1936, and received her bachelor’s degree in secondary business education from Dakota Wesleyan University. Throughout high school and college she worked for Coca Cola Bottling Co., Dressen Moving and Storage Co., the State Movie Theater, and Woolworth’s Dime Store as a bookkeeper and cashier. She also spent a summer on tour with a professional dance company.

In 1941, she moved to Agar to begin her teaching career. In Agar, she met and married Stanley Asmussen. She and Stanley raised their three children there. During Stanley’s service in World War II, Mary lived in Mitchell with her mother and grandmother while she taught in Plankinton. After the war, Mary and Stan returned to Agar and lived there until his death in 1999. Later that year, Mary moved to Parkwood Apartments in Pierre, where she resided until her death. While at Parkwood she became well-known for her reply to the question “How are you?” Her reply: “Fat and Sassy.”

Mary enjoyed being active in her community. She was a member of Christ Church Episcopal in Gettysburg, where she served as a lay reader and delegate to church conventions. For more than 50 years she was an American Legion Auxiliary member and was one of the people responsible for creating poppy corsages. Mary directed many plays for the Agar school and community and taught gymnastics to local children. She was an avid bridge player and a member of the “Les Amies” bridge club for more than 50 years. Mary served on the Agar school board and was an election judge. She was a member of the Sully County Democrats and was a state convention delegate. She was a member of American Association of University Women and Cattle Women. In the late 1960s and early 1970s she helped run the Bunkhouse Café in Agar.

Mary devoted much time and energy to raising her children, whom she loved very much. She also loved animals, especially dogs and cats, and she had many pets. Mary enjoyed driving many miles just to have lunch or see the sights.

Grateful for having shared her life are her three children: Johannas (David), Tom (Vivian), and Ted (Brenda); grandchildren: Jasen (Sheila), Nicole, Kelcey (Monty), Tennile (Bryce), Erin, Jessica (Kevin), Kaitlin, and Laura; step-grandchildren: Trevor, Michelle, Nicholas; great-grandchildren: Justin, A.J., Marlee, and Maya; step-great-grandchildren: Bryan, Terry Jo, Alanea, and Austin: great-great-grandson: Bryden; a cousin, 101-year-old Bee Van Meter; and many relatives and friends.

Her husband, an infant brother and infant sister, her parents, two cousins, her parents-in-law and several brothers- and sisters-in-law preceded Mary in death.

Sharon Bucholz, 67

Funeral services for Sharon K. Bucholz, 67, of Fort Thompson, will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at the Christ Episcopal Church in Fort Thompson, with burial in the St. John’s Episcopal Cemetery at Crow Creek. Wake services will be at 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 16, with visitation beginning at 12 p.m. at the Fort Thompson Community Center at Fort Thompson.

Sharon K. Clark was born Aug. 18, 1941, at Fort Thompson. She attended school at Gann Valley. Sharon made Fort Thompson her home most of her life. On Sept. 5, 1974, Sharon was united in marriage to Harry Bucholz at Sioux Falls.

Sharon passed away on Jan. 13, 2009, at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls at the age of 67.

Gratefully sharing in her life are her husband, Harry Bucholz, of Fort Thompson; a son, Harry Bucholz III, of Sioux Falls; two daughters: Patricia Thompson, of Valdosta, Ga., and Jacqueline Smith, of Omaha, Neb.; and seven grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Joshua; a sister, Ethel; and several other siblings.

Norma Schanzenbach, 78

Funeral services for Norma Schanzenbach, age 78, of Selby, will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at the UCC Church in Selby. Burial will be in the Selby Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. A Family service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, at the church.

Mrs. Schanzenbach passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at the Bowdle Hospital.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Susan) Schanzenbach, of Fort Pierre.

Adam Maberry, 23

Adam Maberry, 23, of Rapid City formerly of Pierre, died Nov. 23, 2008, in Rapid City.

Visitation is 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 28, at Isburg Funeral Chapel with prayer service at 6 p.m. Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 29, at Oahe Presbyterian Church with burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Blunt

Adam Cole Maberry was born Nov. 18, 1985, in Pierre to Wayne and Vickie Maberry. He grew up in Pierre where he attended school and was very active in school activities. He graduated from T.F. Riggs High School in 2004. He went on to attend South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, where he would have graduated on Dec. 20, 2008, with a B.S. in computer engineering with a minor in computer science.

He was attending SDSM&T on a full academic scholarship. He was consistently on the dean’s list and had accepted a job in Denver and was to start on Dec. 29. He was a member of Triangle Fraternity, where he was an officer. Adam loved spending time with his girlfriend, friends and family. He loved his dog, Chuck Norris, and taking her to the dog park. He also enjoyed hiking in Spearfish Canyon, snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hunting, boating and jet skiing, reading, finding the latest technology, computers, and playing games and cards.

Adam had an excellent sense of humor and had many talents and gifts. He enjoyed building things and working on projects with his dad, grandpas, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Vickie Maberry, of Pierre; one sister, Jennifer Langfeldt (Allen), of Bismarck, N.D.; special friend Kim Berger, of Rapid City, and her children, Dawson and Shelby; his grandparents: Gladys Maberry, of Pierre, and Sue Nicholas, of Pierre; aunts and uncles, Buell and Maxine Maberry, of Pierre, Sayra and Jeff Mortimer, of Minnesota, Terry Nicholas, of California, Larry and Sherry Nicholas, of Colorado, Linda and Ron Murphy, of Pierre, Lori and Mike Koch, of Pierre, and Diane Cordray, of Rapid City.

Adam had many cousins he loved to spend time with: Dawn and Mike, Jerod, Jody and Josh, Daniel, Ashlie, Michael, Lanell and Jon, Sheldon, HollyAnn, Nikki, James, Cody, Anita and Derek.

He had many friends and fraternity brothers, great-aunts, uncles and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: James Maberry and Glen Nicholas; his uncle, Kenton Maberry; and baby niece, Zoe Lynn Langfeldt.

Isburg Funeral Chapel of Pierre has been placed in care of the arrangements.
