Elsie Rose Pageau
NEWCASTLE, Wyo. - Elsie Rose Pageau, 75, Newcastle, Wyo., died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Rapid City Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Cheshire, England, on Dec. 13, 1925, to William and Edith (Bowen) Williams.
She lived in Detroit for 25 years and moved to Newcastle, Wyo., in 1971.
She is survived by a brother, George E. Williams, and his wife, Delpha, Herndon, Va., and their daughter, Cally, and her husband, Satoshi, and their twin girls, Sophi and Suzim, all of Holland, Mich.; a sister, Audrey Vines of Newcastle, and her daughter, Heilia, of Rochester, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Russell; mother, Edith; and father, William Williams.
Funeral arrangements are being provided by Behrens Mortuary in Rapid City.
Burial will be arranged at a latter date.

Robert M. 'Bert' Daniello
GILLETTE, Wyo. - Robert M. "Bert" Daniello, 27, Gillette, Wyo., died Saturday, March 24, 2001, near Recluse, Wyo.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Daniello, Gillette; children, Kagen and Koral Daniello, both of Gillette; his mother, Hannefore Daniello, Las Vegas; a sister, Christina Daniello, Cheyenne; and a brother, Michael Daniello, Las Vegas.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, with Ed Richardson officiating.
Burial will follow at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette.

ALADDIN, Wyo. - Daniel M. Boone, 72, Aladdin, Wyo., died Monday, March 26, 2001, at his ranch north of Aladdin.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Boone, Aladdin; three sons, Greg Boone, Lander, and Roy and Ross Boone, both of Spearfish, S.D.; and four daughters, Jeri Bartels, Great Falls, Mont., Jo Ann Boone, Lancaster, Calif., Roberta Scott, Walden, Colo., and Edna Hagerman, Mesa, Ariz.
Arrangements are pending with Carlsen & Aldinger Funeral Home of Spearfish.
Kenneth Louis Hedlund
WINNER - Kenneth Louis Hedlund, 76, Winner, died Monday, March 26, 2001, at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Hedlund, Winner; four sons, Myron Hedlund, Carthage, Texas, Dean Hedlund, O'Neill, Neb., and Brad Hedlund and John Hedlund, both of Winner; three daughters, Rae Juel, Harrisburg, Kay VanderWoude, Sioux Falls, and Vola Granger, Mitchell; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Millie Larsh, Winner.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mason Funeral Home in Winner.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at United Methodist Church in Winner. Burial will be at Winner Cemetery in Winner.

Arley James Petty II
TUCSON, Ariz. - Arley James Petty II, 82, Tucson, and formerly of Rapid City, died Monday, March 26, 2001, in Tucson.
He was husband of Margaret Petty for 65 years; father of Arlene Calendine and Harriet (Herbert) Taylor; grandfather of Shane (Kendra) Calendine, Shawn (Kay) Calendine, Tina (Addison) Beach, Tonya Taylor and Thomas (Valorie) Taylor; great-grandfather of four great-grandchildren; brother of Lucy Benson.
Arley served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He worked for the Chicago-North Western Railroad as a switchman for 37 years.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2001, at Lutheran Church of the King, 2450 S. Kolb, Tucson.
Donations in Arley's memory may be made to the Boy Scouts of America Catalina Council, 5049 E. Broadway St. No. 200, Tucson, AZ, 85711.
Arrangements are by Bring's Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway, Tucson.
Juanita Ruth (Thrapp) Lolley
GILLETTE, Wyo. - Juanita Ruth Thrapp, daughter of Clarence E. Thrapp and Nellie Mae Ricketts, was born Feb. 13, 1910, in a log cabin near Percival, Iowa, on the Missouri River, and she passed away at Gillette, March 5, 2001, at the age of 91 years, 20 days.
At the age of 5, she moved with her family to the Sandhills of Nebraska, where she lived until the age of 14, when they moved to a ranch north of Valentine, Neb., just across the border into South Dakota.
She met Jack H. Lolley, a widower with three boys, at a box social. She married him Oct. 15, 1936, at Martin, S.D., and made their home on 160 acres given as a wedding present by her dad. To this union was born three daughters and five sons.
They moved to Igloo, S.D., in 1952, and Jack passed away Feb. 14, 1956. She then moved to Edgemont. She moved to Gillette in 1986.
She is survived by son, John of Valentine; son, Joe and wife, Elva, of Edgemont; daughter, Grace Sylvester of Calahan, Colo.; daughter, Shirley and husband, Larry Doyle, of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; daughter, Carmen Lolley of Gillette; son, Clarence and wife, Beth, of Edgemont; son, Robert and wife, Linda, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; son Richard and wife, Roxey, of Rapid City; son, Bryan and wife, Ginger, of Gillette, Wyo.; son, Neil and wife, Pauline, of Edgemont; 34 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; son, George and wife, Maxine; daughter-in-law, Hazel; granddaughter, Beverly; grandson, Charles Isaacs; and son-in-law, Frank Sylvester.
Family graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs at a later date.

CHADRON, Neb. - Lottie V. Pierce, 86, Chadron, Neb., died Friday, March 23, 2001, at Chadron Community Hospital in Chadron.
Survivors include four sons, Edward Pierce, Lead, Larry Pierce, Deadwood, Ronnie Pierce, Upton, Wyo., and Terry Pierce, Rapid City; a daughter, Judie Hanson, Kenmore, N.D.; three sisters, Mary Connell, Scottsbluff, Neb., Leoria Mossman, Tempe, Ariz., and Marie Ringer, Crawford, Neb.; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Chamberlain Chapel in Crawford with the Rev. James Martin officiating. Burial will be at Crawford Cemetery in Crawford.

William Kleinsasser
PIERRE - William Kleinsasser, 79, Pierre, died Monday, March 26, 2001, at Maryhouse Sub Acute Center in Pierre.
Survivors include his wife, Noma Kleinsasser, Gresham, Ore.; two daughters, Maryellen and DiAnn Kleinsasser, both of Pierre; four sons, Bill Kleinsasser, Big Sandy, Mont., Dr. Robert Kleinsasser, Brisbane, Australia, Brent Kleinsasser, Strasburg, N.D., Bruce Kleinsasser, Aberdeen; a sister, Goldie Kleinsasser, Pierre; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at First United Methodist Church in Pierre.

RAPID CITY - Loretta Oldfield, 91, Rapid City, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, JoAnn Hilton, Rapid City; a son, William Oldfield, Gillette, Wyo.; two sisters, Margaret Shyne, Rapid City, and Marie Anderson, New Underwood; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending with Osheim-Catron Funeral Home of Rapid City.

PIERRE - Helen Wanek, 84, Pierre, died Monday, March 26, 2001, at Maryhouse Nursing Center in Pierre.
Survivors include a brother, Ralph Griffin; and a sister, Mary Dixion.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Pierre, with the Rev. Roger Easland officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Pierre.

Boe Michael Stocklin
FAITH - Boe Michael Stocklin, 18, Faith, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at Eagle Butte Hospital.
Survivors include his son, Blake Michael Stocklin, Faith; his parents, Mike and Dawn Stocklin, Faith; his sister, Kris Johnson, Faith; and his maternal grandparents, Leonard and Estelle Cook, Glad Valley.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 29, at Faith Area Memorial Chapel in Faith, and one hour before services at the school.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Faith High School Gym in Faith, with the Rev. Wayne Olson and the Rev. Harold Delbridge officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Cemetery.

Larry G. Fix
RAPID CITY - Larry G. Fix, 52, Rapid City, died at his residence Monday, March 26, 2001, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born July 6, 1948, at Minot, N.D., the son of Anton J. and Viola (Schmitcke) Fix. He grew up in Garrison, N.D., and attended schools there. Larry moved to Rapid City in the early 1970s, and on Jan. 21, 1981, he married Diane Jones in Rapid City. At the time of his death, he was employed by Ohio National Financial Services.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Fix, Rapid City; a son, Cameron Fix, Bismarck, N.D.; a stepson, Ronald Jones and his wife, Theresa, Phoenix; two stepdaughters, Connie Smejkal and her husband, Joe, Rapid City, and Vicki Jones, Mesa, Ariz.; his mother, Viola Fix, Garrison; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers in infancy.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Osheim-Catron Funeral Home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29 at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Don Brendtro and the Rev. Al Jacobson officiating.
Burial will be at Pine Lawn Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Cancer Society.
