Harold G. Peck
SIOUX FALLS — Harold G. Peck was born on June 23, 1917, in Brunsville, Iowa, to Otto and Mary (Knipple) Peck. He died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls.
At age 7, he moved with his family to Murdo, where his father owned Murdo Elevator Co. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1938 and worked for a Minneapolis grain brokerage and Tri-State Milling Co. in Rapid City before entering military service in 1942. During WWII, he attained the rank of captain in the Coast Artillery Corps.
On Dec. 13, 1941, he married Elsa Erickson in Rapid City.
He operated the Murdo Elevator Co. from 1946 to 1960. In Murdo, he served on the city council and the school board, and was a chief of the volunteer fire department and past commander of American Legion Post No. 75.
From 1961 to 1965, he owned motels in Custer and in Abilene, Kan. He was a representative and divisional manager for Waddell & Reed in Sioux Falls and Rapid City until ill health forced him to retire in 1979.
An active Mason for 62 years, he was Past Master of Magre City Lodge No. 162 AF&AM, Murdo, past master of District No. 25 of the Grand Lodge AF&AM of South Dakota, performed degree work with the Sioux Falls Scottish Rite and volunteered with the Masonic Service Association at the Sioux Falls Veterans Administration Hospital. He was a member of the Legion of Honor Degree Team of the El Riad Shrine Temple, Sioux Falls Elks Lodge No. 262 and First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Elsa G. Peck; one daughter, Patricia Gossel of Bethesda, Md.; a sister, Gladys Kruse of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three nieces; and seven nephews.
His parents, Otto and Mary Peck; a sister, Eunice Wendt; and a nephew, Todd Miller, preceded him in death.
Masonic services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, 13th and Main, Sioux Falls.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2001, at First United Methodist Church in Sioux Falls, with the Rev. Randy Hogarth officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2001, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, with the Rev. Frank McKeehan officiating.
Memorials may be directed to the El Riad Shrine Transportation Fund.
Donald Boreson
WINNER — Donald Boreson, 87, Winner, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at Winner Regional Healthcare Center in Winner.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Boreson, Winner; two daughters, Delilah Sharpe, Mobridge, and Keo Boreson, Winner; a son, Charles Boreson, Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Dorothy Ackerman, Minneapolis; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mason Funeral Home in Winner, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 9, at United Methodist Church in Winner.
Burial will be at Winner Cemetery in Winner.
Melvin T. Norton
HOT SPRINGS — Melvin T. Norton, 76, Hot Springs, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at Castle Manor Nursing Home.
Arrangements are pending with Isburg-McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs.
Esther 'Buddee' Felt
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Esther "Buddee" (Gunn) Felt passed peacefully on March 6, 2001, at the age of 90 years.
She was born in the Badlands of South Dakota on June 21, 1910. She was the first child of George Gunn and Vesta Cora (Curtis) Gunn. Buddee enjoyed riding and ranching with her brothers, Lester and George, and her belated sister, Idella Jean.
She attended Spearfish Teachers College, taught in a one-room schoolhouse near Wall, S.D., and after the age of 60, she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees at Wayne State University.
Buddee married her beloved husband, Lloyd (belated), in Detroit, on Sept. 11, 1932, and together they had three children, Beverly (McKay), Roger (belated) and Barbara.
Esther and Lloyd had seven grandchildren, Bruce, Bradley, Bret, Natalie, Nathan, Elizabeth, and Sammy; and five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, Jamie, Justin and Amanda.
Buddee also will be missed by her friends in the Detroit Edison Glee Club, a group of wonderful people who brought music and joy to her life for many, many years.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the March of Dimes, 1955 Pauline Plaza, Suite 400, Ann Arbor, MI, 48103. Envelopes are available at Nie Funeral Home, 2400 Carpenter Road, where the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2001.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2001, at the funeral home, with cremation to follow.
David F. Sieler
STURGIS — David F. Sieler, 65, Sturgis, formerly of Rapid City, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at Sturgis Long Term Care Center.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Sieler, Rapid City; his mother, Linda Sieler, Rapid City; a son, Jay Sieler, Minneapolis; a daughter, Julie Brink, Rapid City; a brother, Phil Sieler, Pierre; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are pending with Kinkade Funeral Chapel of Sturgis.

VERMILLION — Sylvia A. Fullenkamp, 78, Vermillion, died Saturday, March 3, 2001, at home.
Survivors include four sons, Chuck Fullenkamp, Rapid City, Dan Fullenkamp, Elk Point, Greg Fullenkamp, Peachtree, Ga., and Tim Fullenkamp, Broomfield, Colo.; seven daughters, Ann Fullenkamp, Sioux Falls, Julie Zylla, Chandler, Ariz., Dorothy McLellan, Beatrice, Neb., Peggy Oomens and Terry Ballentine, both of Phoenix, Rose White, Chico, Calif., and Patty Larsen, Elk Point; 26 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Margaret Brown, Vermillion.
Wake services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, March 9, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Vermillion.
Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at the church, with the Rev. Don Imming officiating.

TERRY, Mont. — Sharon Deane Harrington, 46, Terry, died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Prairie County Medical Center in Terry.
Survivors include her husband, Dan Harrington, Fallon; one son, Jay Harrington, Phoenix; one daughter, Jennifer Harrington, Fallon; her parents, Bill and Elenore Walters, Hay Springs, Neb.; and two sisters, Judy Stiengass, Sheridan, Wyo., and Carol Jones, Rapid City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Community Presbyterian Church in Terry.
Burial will follow at Prairie County Cemetery in Terry.

Corrine Cecelia Howard
EAGLE BUTTE — Corrine Cecelia Howard, 75, Eagle Butte, died Friday, March 2, 2001, at Indian Health Services Hospital in Eagle Butte.
Survivors include one son, Ivan Howard, Eagle Butte; three daughters, Amelia Howard, Pauline Cook and Rose Yellow, all of Eagle Butte; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Bernard Littleton, Eagle Butte, and Wayne Littleton, Bear Creek.
Wake services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Eagle Butte.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, at the church, with the Rev. Jeffry Barnes and Deacons Rose Moran, Dora Bruguier, John Red Bear and Sr. Catechist Earlwin Red Bird officiating.
Burial will be at St. James Episcopal Cemetery at Bear Creek.

Robert J. Kelley
FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Robert J. Kelley, 50, Fort Collins, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, in Fort Collins.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Phillip Kelley and Mary Davies, Rapid City; and one brother, David Kelley, Portland, Ore.
Services were held Saturday, March 3, in Fort Collins.
Memorial services will be held in Rapid City at a later date.

Eleanor Kilian
PIERRE — Eleanor Kilian, 84, Pierre, died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Maryhouse Nursing Center in Pierre.
Survivors include five daughters, Marlynrae Mathews, Sioux Falls, Sharon Caldwell, Fort Pierre, Betty Walinski, Long Beach, Calif., Ida Henrichsen and Eileen Duff, both of Pierre; 14 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday, March 8, at Maryhouse Chapel.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Maryhouse Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Lantz officiating.
Burial will be at Scotty Philip Cemetery in Fort Pierre.
Jack R. Nelson
HART RANCH — Jack R. Nelson, 61, Hart Ranch, and formerly of Edgemont, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, in Little Rock, Ark.

Thomas Iversen
ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — A Seung Hwa ("Joyful Ascension") funeral service for Thomas Anthony Francis Iversen, 46, who died at home surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, March 3, was Tuesday, March 6, at Ormond Funeral Home.
Tom was born on June 17, 1954, in Queens, N.Y., and moved to Palm Coast in 1993 from South Dakota. He attended Lockhaven College and University of Sioux Falls (S.D.).
Tom was a member of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, the American Constitution Committee, and the American Family Federation. He spent many years in missionary work and enjoyed his travels with his family.
He was a devoted husband and father and spent many memorable moments fishing and playing baseball with his son.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Edy; his beloved son, David; his brother, Paul Iversen, Palm Coast; and his two sisters, Janet Parker, Houston, Texas, and Diane Vanderpool, Woodland Park, Colo.
