Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn Nussbaum, Longmont, Colo.; and one granddaughter.

Rayland Bender
RAPID CITY — Rayland Bender, 58, Rapid City, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Survivors include three sons, Trenton Bender, Minneapolis, and Dean Bender and Rayland Bender, both of Rapid City; two daughters, Nanette Argon, Fowler, Colo., and Hope Witte, Hot Springs; two brothers, Leroy Bender and Elmer Bender, both of Washburn, N.D.; one sister, Carol Adams, Bismarck, N.D.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Kirk Funeral Home in Rapid City, and one hour before services. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 9, at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Mapa officiating. Burial will be at Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Rapid City.
Mary Simpson
SUNDANCE, Wyo. — Mary Simpson, 96, Sundance, died Friday, April 6, 2001, at Crook County Memorial Hospital in Sundance.
Survivors include one daughter, Anna Peterson, rural Sundance; one son, Bud Simpson, rural Sundance; two sisters, Ella Hanson and Elizabeth Cummings, both of Newcastle; one brother, John Toth, Newcastle; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be for one hour before services, which will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at Country Church in Four Corners, with the Rev. Charles Dutcher and the Rev. Bill Haley officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Green Mountain Cemetery, Weston County.
Fidler-Roberts Funeral Chapel of Sundance is in charge of arrangements.

FAITH — Estelline Capp, 87, Faith, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Lookout Memorial Hospital in Spearfish.
Survivors include two sons, John Capp, rural Faith, and Jim Capp, Powderville, Mont.
Arrangements are pending with Faith Area Memorial Chapel in Faith.
LaVonne A. Nauta
SPEARFISH — LaVonne A. Nauta, 63, Spearfish, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Lookout Memorial Hospital in Spearfish.
Survivors include two sons, Kirby Nauta and Justin Nauta, both of Spearfish; and one daughter, Susan Ditson, Fort Lupton, Colo.
Arrangements are pending with Carlsen & Aldinger Funeral Home in Spearfish.
Richard W. Salyers
BLACK HAWK — Richard W. Salyers, 60, Black Hawk, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at his home in Black Hawk.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Salyers, Black Hawk; two sons, Rich Salyers and Shannon Salyers, both of Black Hawk; one daughter, Tina Meyer, Rapid City; three brothers, Lloyd "Buddy" Salyers, Michael Salyers and Freddie Salyers, all of Kingsport, Tenn.; three sisters, Abbie Cowen and Vendetta Russell, both of Mount Carmel, Tenn., and Janice Cowen, Kingsport; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements are pending with Osheim-Catron Funeral Home in Rapid City.
Whillina M. Teibel
RAPID CITY — Whillina M. (Mrs. George) Teibel, 98, Rapid City, died Friday, April 6, 2001, at a local nursing home.
She is survived by a daughter, Isabelle C. Oubre of Rapid City; one sister, Bessie Jensen of Rapid City; one grandson, Russell D. Oubre of Rapid City; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, at Behrens Mortuary and for one hour before services.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Behrens Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City.
Alma Knodel
NEW UNDERWOOD — Alma Knodel, 89, New Underwood, died Friday, April 6, 2001, at the Good Samaritan Center in New Underwood.
Alma was born on April 24, 1911, at Elm Springs to Albert and Florence Arneson. Alma went to grade school in Elm Springs and high school in Rapid City.
She married Ted Knodel in 1933, and they ranched throughout western South Dakota. She was active in the Cowbelles and Ladies of the Moose and was secretary of the 1902 Cowboy Club for many years.
She is survived by one nephew, Marion Matt, and his wife, Darlene, and family, of Philip; one brother-in-law, Ed Knodel, and his wife, Fran, of New Underwood; brother Alfred Arneson of Sturgis; nieces June Hitson of Spearfish, Connie Reichert of Hereford, Myran Ohle of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; sisters-in-law, Adeline Melnyk of Oliver, BC, Canada; and numerous great-nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and husband, Ted.
Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. today at Behrens Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, at United Church of Christ in New Underwood, with the Rev. Ed Wyatt officiating.
Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City.
A memorial has been established to the Good Samaritan Center in New Underwood.

RAPID CITY — Marion E. "Mike" Michelson, 68, Rapid City, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at his home in Rapid City.
Survivors include his wife, Jeri Michelson, Rapid City; one son, Nick Michelson, Rapid City; two daughters, Sandy Omdahl, Tucson, Ariz., and Shelley Michelson, Spearfish; and one sister, Joyce Bentz, Belle Fourche.

WINNER — Alvin Wilken, 78, Winner, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Gregory Community Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Elleanor, Winner; four stepchildren, Ronald Weidner, Winner, Rodney Weidner, Terra Haute, Ind., Dean Weidner, Wolsey, and Allen Weidner, Rapid City; one sister, Mildred Davis, Fairfax; one brother, Robert Wilken, Papillion, Neb.; one granddaughter; 18 step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., with an 8 p.m. prayer service, on Monday, April 9, at Mason Funeral Home in Winner. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Winner. Burial will be at Winner Cemetery.
Georgia 'Jo' Jorgensen
PIERRE - Georgia "Jo" Jorgensen, 83, Pierre, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre.
Survivors include nine children, Peg Pavek, Los Osos, Calif., William Sanders, Vinton, Iowa, Thomas Sanders, Aurora, Colo., Deloris Le Beau, Pierre, Davidson Le Beau, Grand Junction, Colo., Kenneth Le Beau, Rangely, Colo., Laurinda Graham, Bloomington, Minn., Louis Jorgensen, Fort Pierre, and Thomas Jorgensen, Pierre; two sisters, Helen Bechtel, Burlington, Iowa, and Betty Hitchcock, Aledo, Texas; one brother, William Sanders, Marion, Iowa; four stepdaughters, Ramah Keyes, Dorthea Ruliffson, Karen Jorgensen and Pamela Day, all of Henderson, Nev.; 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, at Hofmeister Funeral Chapel in Pierre.

MARTIN - Harold E. Good, 82, Martin, died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Good, Martin; one daughter, Donna Hicks, Denver; one son, Jim Good, Martin; two sisters, Tressie Bailey, Edgemont, and Beth Mansfield, Mounds View, Minn.; and four grandsons.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 9, at Legion Auditorium in Martin, with lay minister Ardeth Kocourek and the Legion Post No. 240 chaplain officiating.
Burial will be at Martin Community Cemetery.

PIERRE - William J. "Spike" Kleinsasser, 92, formerly of Onida, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at Beverly Healthcare Center in Pierre.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 8, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, at Feigum Funeral Home in Pierre.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 9, at Emanuel Mennonite Brethren Church in Onida. Burial will follow in Onida.
Darrel J. Lokkeberg
BROOKINGS - Darrel J. Lokkeberg, 68, Brookings, died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at Brookings Hospital.
Survivors include three daughters, Lynn Darnall, Brookings, Lori Oines, Black Hawk, and LaRae Waldron, Derby, Kan.; eight grandchildren; one sister, Judith Grimlie, Astoria; and two brothers, Elmer Lokkeberg, Astoria, and Kenneth Lokkeberg, Sioux Falls.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Rude's Funeral Home in Brookings and before services at the church on Sunday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 8, at First United Methodist Church in Brookings, with the Rev. Marilyn Spurrell officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Brookings.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Marvin Edward "Butch" LeBeau, 61, Sioux City, Iowa, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001, in Sioux City.
Survivors include his mother, Florine LeBeau, Pine Ridge; his wife, LaVerne LeBeau, Pine Ridge; two sons, Darryl LeBeau, Pine Ridge, and David Kruger, Friday Harbor, Wash.; three daughters, Dusty Rae LeBeau, Pine Ridge, Barbara Ducheneaux, Mobridge, and Julie Shay, Tulsa, Okla.; five brothers, Dugan LeBeau, Paul LeBeau and Tuck LeBeau, all of Pine Ridge, Dusty LeBeau, Porcupine, and Gerald LeBeau, Boulder, Colo.; six sisters, Bernadine Weaver and Donna Bettleyoun, both of Pine Ridge, Arnelle Skye, Pierre, Bobby Jo Clark, Phoenix, Twila LeBeau, Lower Brule, and Lona Haggard, Rapid City; and five grandchildren.
A one-night wake will be from 1 p.m. to midnight Sunday, April 8, at Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, at Holy Rosary Mission Church in Pine Ridge, with the Rev. Bill Pauly, S.J., as celebrant. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Mission Cemetery.
