Edward H. "Eddie" Arthur
age 78 of Philip, South Dakota, died April 30, 2006, at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip.
Edward H. "Eddie" Arthur was born February 17, 1928, at Ewing, Nebraska, the son of Edward and Theresa (Fraundorfer) Arthur. The family moved to Bad Nation in Mellette County, South Dakota and then moved to Tripp County in 1932, where Ed grew up on a farm. He attended South Greenwood rural school for eight years and high school at Witten. He worked for his brother in-law Robert Best, raising turkeys and farming for many years. During the blizzard of 1949, he moved to Presho and worked for Frank and Vera Butt.
Eddie was united in marriage to Alice Erikson on November 29, 1950, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Presho. After their marriage, he then went to work for the Frank Albus ranch north of Presho until he was drafted into the United States Army on February 14, 1951. He completed basic training at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina and then was stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington, Ft. Hood, Texas, and Camp Atterbury, Indiana. He then went overseas to Yokahoma, Japan, Seoul and Puson Korea, and back to Hakido, Japan. Eddie was discharged on February 4, 1953 at Camp Carson, Colorado. After his honorable discharge, Eddie returned home and went to work for West Central Electric in Presho. On March 12, 1953, he was transferred to Reliance, South Dakota, and in July of 1955, he was transferred to Philip, where he has since resided. Eddie retired from West Central Electric on March 12, 1993, after forty years of service.
Eddie was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Wheeler-Brooks American Legion Post #173, the T.B.O. Club, the IBEW #1250 Union, the Philip Volunteer Fire Department, and a charter member of the Wednesday Night Prayer Group.
Grateful for having shared his life include two sons Curtis Arthur of Milesville and Holly Edwards of Black Hawk, and Greg Arthur and his wife Kathy of Philip; twodaughters Lana Elshere and her husband Jim of Milesville, and Teresa Mosher and her husband Mike of Martin; twelve grandchildren Misty and Ronnie Anderson, Cory and Stacy Elshere, Ryan and Chrissy Elshere, J.J. and Lindsay Elshere, Matt Arthur, Amber and Brad Beer, Murdock Arthur, Melanie and Kevin Tish, Levi and Jodi Mosher, Dustin Arthur, Kristopher Arthur and his fiance Leandra, and Andy Arthur and his fiance Kaye; twelve great-grandchildren Chase and Riley Anderson, Trey and Jenna Elshere, Carter and Camri Elshere, Talon and Thayne Elshere, Burke Beer, and Jade, Hallie, and Coby Mosher; two brothers Milfred Arthur and his wife Elaine of Lodi, California, and Eugene "Ooge" Arthur and his wife Kalyn of Rapid City; three sisters Mildred Zadell of Grand Junction, Colorado, Leona "Ony" Best and her husband Robert of Rapid City, and Alma Steinfeld of Sheridan, Wyoming; a sister in-law Doris Arthur of Winner; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Eddie was preceded in death by his wife Alice R. "Allie" Arthur on November 8, 1999; a granddaughter Heather Marie Mosher; his parents; and three brothers John, Raymond, and Joe Arthur.
Visitation was held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m., all at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Philip.
Mass of Christian Burial was held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 4, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ron Garry as celebrant.
Interment with military honors by the Belle Fourche Honor Guard was held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, at the Black Hills National cemetery near Sturgis, with Father Arnold Kari officiating.
A memorial is established.

Earl Slovek
age 85 of Philip, South Dakota, died December 24, 2008, at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip.
Earl Charles Slovek was born on the family ranch, February 28, 1923, the son of John & Emma (Buchholz) Slovek. He attended eight years of grade school near their home. He lived and worked at home and worked for several area ranchers until 1948. In 1948, he moved to his present location, formerly the Ed Slovek place, where he started farming and ranching for himself.
On September 26, 1953, Earl married a Haakon County school teacher by the name of Helen Harnisch. The double wedding ceremony was held in Wall, along with her sister Margaret Harnisch and John Buchholz. They made their home on the ranch all their married life. Helen taught school for twenty-one years while Earl worked on the ranch. Helen retired from teaching in 1969, and from 1969 until 2004, Earl and Helen worked side by side on the ranch raising cattle, which were his pride and joy. In 2004, they sold their cattle and began leasing their land to their son, but continued to reside on the ranch, the place Earl has called home for over sixty years.
Earl enjoyed giving the grandkids pickup, tractor, horse, and 4-wheeler rides. He also loved to play cards, especially pitch, with their friends and neighbors.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife of over 55 years, Helen Slovek; one son Bill Slovek and his wife Pennie of Philip; three grandchildren Belinda Mitchell and her husband Brandon of Kadoka, Brock Slovek and Bo Slovek of Philip; one sister Bonnie Walters of Orange County, California; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers Everett, Frank, Herb, and John “Bud” Slovek; and one sister Frances O’Connell.
Visitation was held 3-5 p.m. on Friday, December 26, at the American Legion Hall in Philip, and one hour preceding the services at the hall on Saturday.
Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, at the American Legion Hall in Philip, with Pastor Kathy Chesney officiating.
Interment was at the Masonic cemetery, Philip.
A memorial is established.

Diane Badure
age 64 of Belvidere, South Dakota, died January 1, 2010, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Diane Faye Rittel was born September 22, 1945, in Kadoka, South Dakota, the daughter of Merle and Florence (Hellmers) Rittel. She grew up in the Belvidere community attending all twelve years of schooling in Belvidere, graduating from Belvidere High School in 1963.
On June 2, 1963, she married Allen Badure, also of Belvidere. They spent their first four years working for Zack and Norma Word on a ranch south of the Big White River. In 1967 they leased the Hi and Wanda Osborn Ranch. Diane had a very strong relationship with Wanda and Hi.
Diane was extremely proud of the Belvidere Community and the people around it. She was a true ranch lady. She made tons of food in her lifetime, packing food out to the cowboys or feeding them at home. She was very fond of all the young boys that worked on the ranch throughout the years.
Her main concern was of course, her family, especially her four grandchildren. She very much enjoyed holidays, especially when all the family would get together.
Diane had a very close relationship with Jane Livingston and Jane’s daughter Kylie Brunson. In later years, there were many helpful friends that came to her aid. Diane was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Kadoka, R-CALF USA, and the South Dakota Stockgrowers.
Grateful for having shared her life include her husband Allen Badure of Belvidere; two sons Greg Badure and his wife Dana and their children Brisa and Martin, and Baxter Badure and his wife Carol and their two children Brianna and Kianna, all of Belvidere; two sisters Sharon Teets, and Judy Brodsky and her husband Mike, all of Grand Island, Nebraska; a nephew Troy Teets and his wife Heather and their son Nicholas of Grand Island; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents.
Closed-casket visitation was held from 6-7 p.m. on Monday, January 4, with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m., all at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Kadoka.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Kadoka, with Father Bryan Sorensen as celebrant.
Interment will be in the Belvidere cemetery.
A memorial is established to the Belvidere Fellowship Hall in Belvidere.

Mary Ann Barber
age 74 of Kadoka, South Dakota, died May 25, 2004, at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mary Ann Peck was born March 28, 1930 at Rosebud, South Dakota, the daughter of Joseph J. and Thelma (Young) Peck. She grew up in Pine Ridge and graduated from Holy Rosary Mission in Pine Ridge.
Mary Ann was united in marriage to Vincent Salway. They made their home in Hawthorne, California, where she worked in the medical field. In 1973, she moved to Kadoka, South Dakota. While in Kadoka, Mary Ann worked as a LPN at the Kadoka Hospital.
She was united in marriage to Harmon Elton Barber on July 1, 1974, in Pierre, South Dakota. They made their home in Kadoka where they operated the Wagon Wheel Motel.
Elton preceded her in death in April 28, 1993. She continued to operate the motel until 1998, but managed the motel for Wendell Buxcel until 1999. She then moved into the Gateway Apartments in Kadoka where she has since resided. While at the Gateway, she enjoyed playing cards and met many close friends.
The family is very grateful for the friends that gave her a normal life during the last seven weeks.
Mary Ann was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Kadoka. She and Elton enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Grateful for having shared her life include five sons Joseph Salway and his wife Georgia of Garden Grove, California, Ronald Elton Barber and his wife Barb of Black Hawk, South Dakota, Michael Roy Barber and his wife Judy of Tampa, Florida, Gregory Allen Barber of Interior, and Dwight Douglas Barber and his wife Joann of Rapid City; four daughters Sharon Blackwell of South Gate, California, Patricia Ditel and her husband Greg of Lawndale, California, Maxine Boone and her husband Joe of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Roxannn Formanek and her husband Raymond of Philip; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a half-sister Lila Gardner of Casper, Wyoming; an aunt Lucille Brunsch of Norris, South Dakota, a son in-law Sam Guttilla of Chicago, Illinois; a sister in-law Sharon Bowman of Wanblee; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband Harmon Elton Barber, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Areleen Guttilla; a great-granddaughter Chessa Jankord; a step-mother Delores Peck; and a brother Loren Bowman.
Visitation was held 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2004 at the Rush Funeral Chapel in Kadoka, with a vigil service at 5:30 p.m. at the chapel.
Rite of Christian Funeral was 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 29, at the Kadoka City Auditorium, with Father Ron Garry officiating.
Interment was in the Kadoka cemetery.
A memorial is established to the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip.

Roger F. Barber
age 51 of Owanka, South Dakota, died February 8, 2002, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Roger Fred Barber was born May 6, 1950 in New Underwood, South Dakota, the son of Edgar and Amy (Erickson) Barber.
He grew up on the ranch where he presently lives and received his education at Harmony Rural School. After fifth grade he attended school in Wall, graduating from Wall High School in 1968.
He attended Sioux Falls College for one year and then attended Western Iowa Technical School in Sioux City, Iowa.
Roger was united in marriage to Linda L. Anderson on September 5, 1970 in Wall, South Dakota.
They made their home on his parents ranch where he ranched with his father and later with his brother Paul. Later Roger and Linda purchased the ranch which they continued to operate until his death.
Roger was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wall, where he had served on various committees and also taught church school. He served on the Wall School Board, and was a member of Farm Bureau, American Quarter Horse Association, American Ag Movement, Northern Agri-Fuels, the South Dakota Charolais Association, the Wall Golf Course, and the Lake Waggoner Golf Course.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Linda Barber of Owanka; three daughters, Christi Michael and her husband George, and their children, Kyle, Dustin, Cyrissa, and Emma of Owanka; Trisha Eisenbraun and her husband Jim of Creighton, and Niki Barber of Spearfish; his mother, Amy Barber of Rapid City; one brother, Paul Barber and his wife Pat of Rapid City; two sisters, Susan Reed and her husband Gary of Rapid City, and Beverly Outtrim and her husband Gary of Leola, South Dakota; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his father Edgar.
Funeral services for Roger F. Barber, age 51, of Owanka, South Dakota, were held 2:00 p.m., February 12, 2002 at the United Methodist Church in Wall, with Pastor Jim Cissell and officiating.
Visitation was held 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2002 at the Rush Funeral Chapel in Wall.
Interment was held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, preceding the funeral services, at the Lakeside cemetery in Owanka.
A memorial is established.

Robert A. "Bob" Barclay
age 86 of Philip, South Dakota, died March 18, 2002, at the Kadoka Care Center.
Robert A. "Bob" Barclay was born April 30, 1915 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of James and Elizabeth (Thompson) Barclay. He grew up and received his education in the Pittsburgh area.
Robert was united in marriage to Margot Galka on August 9, 1937 in Pittsburgh.
They made their home in Pittsburgh where he worked for Mesta Machine Shop. Bob retired as a foreman after thirty years at the machine shop.
Robert and Margot continued to live in Pittsburgh until moving to Philip in 1991.
His wife Margot preceded him in death on February 26, 2000.
Robert continued to reside in Philip until moving into the Kadoka Care Center on August 24, 2001.
Survivors include three daughters, Roberts Bandi and her husband Russ of Philip, Sandra Petrovich and her husband Tony of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Marline Gerlach and her husband Erwin of Philip; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elizabeth Holbert, Marie Oliver, and Mary Westerwick, all of Pittsburgh.
In addition to his wife, Robert was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Robert A. Barclay, Jr.; a daughter, Lorraine King; three brothers, David Barclay, James Barclay, Jr. and William Barclay; and one sister, Ethel Barclay as a child.
Services and interment will be at a later date in the Allegheny cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Lois Grimme
age 72 of Belvidere, South Dakota, died March 8, 2010, at her home in Belvidere.
Lois Lucille Luebke was born on February 20, 1938 in rural Emery, at her grandfather’s home, to Martin and Emma Luebke. She grew up in rural Parkston by Milltown and graduated from Parkston High School and Southern State Teachers College in Springfield, South Dakota.
On July 28, 1961, she married Larry Rae Grimme at St. Peter Lutheran Church at rural Clayton. They lived in Scotland, South Dakota for three years before moving to Tyndall area where they farmed for twenty-one years and raised their three children.
Lois and Larry moved to Wanblee, South Dakota and later to Belvidere. During this time she taught at Sunshine Bible Academy and Belvidere Christian School.
She enjoyed working at 1880 Town where she made many friends and had fun helping people dress up in period costumes every summer. In addition, in the summer, she cooked at Victory Bible Camp. She loved organic gardening, cooking, country living, teaching and tutoring students. She had a home business called Salt of the Earth selling herbs and spices. She was involved in many church and community activities.
Lois lived her life in the service of others by loving and showing kindness to all. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be missed by her community of friends and neighbors.
She is survived by her husband, Larry, of Belvidere and their three sons: Michael (Kim), Steven (Nancy) and Marty (Stacey) and five grandchildren all of Yankton. Siblings: Paul Luebke (Marlene), Parkston; Henry Luebke (Carol), Sioux Falls; Martin Luebke Jr. (Karen), Garretson; Eunice Wermers, Spillville, Iowa; Lorna Peterson (Ed) and Marie Peterson (Delbert), Mitchell; Myrna Gammon (Ron), Betty Brown (David) and Lavonne Black (David), Memphis, Tennessee.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has beheld God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfect in us. (John 4: 11-12).
Visitation was held 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, at the Kadoka City Auditorium, and one hour preceding the services at the auditorium on Monday.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 15, at the Kadoka City Auditorium, with Pastor Gary McCubbin officiating.
Interment will be at a later date at the Tyndall cemetery.

Margaret L. Barrett
age 94 of Kadoka, South Dakota, died October 11, 2007, at the Kadoka Nursing Home.
Margaret L. Briggs was born August 3, 1913, in Durango, Colorado, the daughter of Floyd and Faye (Scott) Briggs. As a child she moved with her parents to Kadoka. She grew up and graduated from Kadoka High School.
Margaret was united in marriage to John F. Barrett on June 22, 1933, in Belvidere. They worked as ranch hands in Pennington, Haakon, and Jackson Counties. In 1944, they purchased and operated a ranch northwest of Belvidere, which they continued to operate until 1976, when they sold part of the ranch but continued to live there. They spent their winter months in Mesa, Arizona and summers at the ranch. In 1989, Margaret and John moved into the Gateway Apartments in Kadoka. After John's death on December 19, 1991, she moved to the Kadoka Nursing Home, where she has since resided.
Survivors include her daughter Marcia Osborn and her husband Lewis of Granbury, Texas; two granddaughters Kimberly Wolk and her husband Dana of Sammamish, Washington, and Kelly O'Brien of Rapid City; four great-grandchildren Taylor Wolk, Maggie Wolk, Kristin O'Brien, and Karli O'Brien; her sister Joyce Hicks of Kadoka; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband John, Margaret was preceded in death by; her son Thomas Lyle Barrett in infancy; her parents; and two brothers Clifford and Buford Briggs.
Visitation was held 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, at the Rush Funeral Chapel in Kadoka, and one hour preceding the services at the church on Monday.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 15, at the Belvidere Community Church with Pastor Gary McCubbin officiating.
Interment will be in the Belvidere cemetery.
A memorial is established to the Kadoka Nursing Home.

Wallace "Babe" Bathel
age 82 of Wasta, South Dakota, died August 21, 2008, at his home in Wasta.
Wallace “Babe” Bathel was born October 4, 1925, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Fredrick and Violet (Wallace) Bathel. He attended rural school in that area until the eighth grade when he went to live with his grandparents and worked for other farmers and as a truck driver in the area. Babe then moved to Crawford, Nebraska, where he worked for Williams Trucking which was hauling hay in the Midland, South Dakota, area.
While in the Midland area he met and married Dorothy Finck of Okaton, South Dakota; and to this union were born four children Carol, Albert “Butch”, Deanna and Donna. In 1956, he and his family moved to Rapid City where he worked for United Buckingham for 19 years, living in Rapid City, Papillion, Nebraska, and Cheyenne, Wyoming. After retiring from trucking, they moved to Rapid City, then to Midland where he worked on various farms, before moving to Wasta where he resided until his death, after a short battle with cancer at the age of 82 years, 10 months, and 12 days.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Bathel of Wasta; one son Albert "Butch" Bathel and his wife Cheryl of Laurel, Nebraska; three daughters Carol Kobes and her husband Don of Rapid City, Deanna Finn and her husband Danny of Midland, and Donna Morey of New Underwood; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two sisters Katherine Winship of Fort Scott, Kansas, and Irene Bowles of Nevada, MIssouri; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Wallace was preceded in death by his parents; a great-grandson Sam Bathel; two brothers Cleo "Slim" and Art Bathel; two sisters Dora Jane and Helen; and his mother and father-in-law Hannah and Albert Finck.
Memorial services were held 10:00 a.m Monday, August 25, at the Lurz Park in Wasta, with Pastor Harold Delbridge officiating.

Edmund W. "Eddie" Baye
age 93 of Philip, South Dakota, died October 24, 2006, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Edmund W. "Eddie" Baye was born September 4, 1913, in Webster, South Dakota, the son of Sylvan and Helena (Erdmann) Baye. At a young age the family moved five miles west of Philip to homestead. Eddie attended grade school at the Jones School west of Philip, and attended Philip High School, graduating in 1931. After graduation he hauled cream around the country with his International truck. He later worked for the State Highway Department.
Eddie was united in marriage to Louise A. "Birdie" Dalrymple on September 18, 1935 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Philip. They made their home in Philip where Eddie worked at Dorothy Brothers as a mechanic and body man. In 1951, he and Dean Parsons bought the John Deere dealership from Dorothy Brothers, and started Baye and Parsons Implement. In 1957, he became sole owner of the dealership, and in 1968, changed the name to Baye and Sons. After thirty-seven years of ownership, Eddie retired in 1988, and spent his time enjoying his many hobbies, including golfing, camping, and traveling around the country in his motor home.
His wife Birdie preceded him in death on March 7, 2000. He continued to live in Philip and on August 21, 2004, Eddie married Lila Maxine Pratt in Long Beach, California. They spent the winter months in Long Beach, and the summers in Philip.
Eddie was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Philip Chamber of Commerce, the Flying Farmers, and the South Dakota Wheatgrowers. Eddie enjoyed flying, holding his pilot’s license for many years
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Lila Maxine Baye; three sons Edmund "Sonny" Baye, Jr. and his wife Elsie of Highmore, Robert Baye and his wife Shirley of Box Elder, and Richard Baye and his wife Teddy of Philip; a step-daughter Rita Parenti and her husband John of Long Beach, California; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; four-great-great-grandchildren; and a brother Alfred Baye of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his first wife Birdie, Eddie was preceded in death by a grandson Edmund Eugene Baye; his parents; two sisters Rosalie Keelin and Katherine Moss; and a brother Francis Baye.
Visitation was held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m., all at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Philip.
Mass of Christian Burial was held 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 27, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Ron Garry as celebrant and Father Arnold Kari as con-celebrant.
Interment was in the Masonic cemetery.
The family requests memorials directed to the Philip Health Services.

Ida Eileen Baye
age 83 of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died October 6, 2005, at the Albuquerque Regional Medical Center.
Ida Eileen McDaniel was born February 21, 1922 on the family farm outside of Philip, South Dakota to Lawrence and Virgie Mae (Craig) McDaniel. She attended Old Trail Country School and, later, graduated from Philip High School.
She married her high school sweetheart, Alfred Baye, in 1942 in Neosho, Missouri. Alfred was in the United States Army for thirty years and Eileen moved and raised her five children in many different places - Philip, South Dakota; Camp Lee, Virginia; Sandia Base, New Mexico; Killeen Base, Texas; back to Sandia Base and then on to Geneva, New York and then overseas to Zweibrucken, Germany and Pirmasens, Germany. From Europe to Joliet, Illinois and back to Philip while Al was in Korea. Then on to Huntsville, Alabama and on to Naval Station, Guam and back to Sandia Base where they retired in Albuquerque in 1971.
Eileen was an active member of the Chapel at Kirtland Air Base and enjoyed doing the genealogy of the McDaniel and Baye families with an emphasis on the great stories in history that surrounded each generation. She was an awesome homemaker and loved traveling and learning about everything she saw. She was recognized for 25 years for her contributions to the activities of the Albuquerque Chapter of the Retired Officers Association Chapter a portion of which included: President of Retired Officers Women’s Club Women’ s Club, 80-81; Team Kirtland Advisory Council, 81-87; recorder of deceased chapter members, 99-05
She is remembered as a woman of grace, dignity and wisdom.
Grateful for having shared her life include her husband Alfred Baye of Albuquerque; four children, Patricia Kaveney and her husband Alan of Joliet, Illinois, David Baye and his wife Margriet of Woodland Park, Colorado, Kathleen McCrohan and her husband John of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Teresa Kelley of Glendale, Arizona; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother Robert McDaniel of Philip; four sisters Phyllis Hajek of Philip, Evelyn Kjerstad of Wall, Barbara Byrne and her husband Larry of Sundance, Wyoming, and Dorothy Fortune and her husband Bud of Cottonwood, South Dakota; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Charles Lee, six brothers, Howard, Fred, Harold, Frank, Kenneth and George and one sister, Gladys.
Visitation was held 6:00 p.m .to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, with a vigil service at 8:00 p.m., all at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Philip.
Mass of Christian Burial was held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Ron Garry as celebrant.
Interment was 2:30 p.m. Thursday, at Black Hills National cemetery near Sturgis, with Father Arnold Kari officiating.
A memorial is established.
