Alma C. "Stena" Helgeson was born April 1, 1906 in Vermillion, South Dakota, the daughter of Oscar and Mary (Kjos) Helgeson. She grew up on a farm in the Hartley area and was in the last class that graduated from Marrietta High School in the Hartley community.
Alma was united in marriage to Lloyd C. Royer on March 12, 1925 in Rapid City. After their marriage they farmed and ranched in the Hartley area until Lloyd's death on September 30, 1953.
She then moved into Philip where she worked at various places before retiring as a clerk at the Thompson Drug and later Zeeb Pharmacy.
She continued to live in Philip, until moving to Belle Fourche in 1990. In 1994 she moved to Black Hawk where she resided until moving into Sturgis in 1998.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, the Wheeler-Brooks American Legion Auxiliary #173, and the Bad River Senior Citizens, all of Philip.
Survivors include four sons, Richard Royer of Spokane, Washington, Merle Royer and his wife Viola of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, Lloyd Royer and his wife Rosetta of Waukee, Iowa, and Gary Royer and his wife Donna of Caldwell, Idaho; one daughter, Wanyce Hein and her husband Walter of Black Hawk, South Dakota; twenty-nine grandchildren; fifty-two great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and step great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband Lloyd, Alma was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Royer and Raymond Royer; one grandson, Robert Royer; one brother, Eugene Helgeson; and one sister, Thelma Loobey.
Funeral services for Alma C. "Stena" Royer, age 95, of Sturgis, formerly of Philip, will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2001 at the First Lutheran Church in Philip, with Pastor Paul Bly officiating. Alma died Tuesday morning, December 25, 2001 at the Sturgis Community Health Care Center.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2001 at the Rush Funeral Home in Philip.
Interment will be in the Masonic cemetery, Philip.

Frederick Hunt, age 50, of Rapid City, died Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at his residence in Rapid City.
Frederick Lyle Hunt was born November 22, 1956, in Pierre, South Dakota, the eleventh of eighteen children born to Lyle and Ida (Fosheim) Hunt. He was baptized and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland. He attended twelve years of school in Midland, graduating in 1975. While in high school, Fred participated in basketball and football. Following graduation, Fred worked road construction. Later, he was a general laborer for various farmers, ranchers, and business people.
Fred had an accident in 1993, suffering a spinal cord and brain injury. He lived in nursing homes for six years. He enrolled in Black Hills Workshop's Community Transitions and moved into his own apartment. He cooked and cleaned with some assistance. Fred became quite a traveler in his wheelchair.
He worked for a short time at the switchboard for Ellsworth Air Force Base until medical problems intervened. He took classes to become more skilled in computers. He has participated in online checkers tournaments with players around the world.
Fred enjoyed cooking Thanksgiving dinner for the residents of his assisted living apartment. His door was always open because he loved company and enjoyed a good laugh.
His nieces and nephews were very close to him and he enjoyed spending time with them. Even though Fred had many trials and tribulations, he didn't let them get him down.
Survivors include his mother Ida Hunt of Midland; nine brothers Roy Hunt and his wife Carol of Midland, Ted Hunt and his wife Dena of Spearfish, Jerry Hunt and Keith Hunt of Midland, Terry Hunt of Watertown, Gordon Hunt and his wife Cheryl, Jeff Hunt, and Barry Hunt all of Battle Mountain, Nevada, and Ron Hunt of Irvine, California; eight sisters Christine Niedan of Midland, Teresa Palmer and her husband Marvin of Murdo, Peggy Johnson and her husband Roger of Pierre, Penny Schafer of Midland, Shari Estep and her husband Pete of Austin, Texas, Janice Tolton and her husband Jim of Midland, Lisa Hackerott and her husband Brian of Midland, and Michelle Meinzer and her husband Cameron of Midland; two special aunts Anna Dick and her husband Martin of Rapid City and Till Mulcahy of Philip; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Fred was preceded in death by his father Lyle Hunt on August 17, 1986; a great-niece Alexis Raley; and a brother-in-law Curtis Niedan.
Visitation was held 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, at the Rush Funeral Home in Philip, and one hour preceding the services at the church on Monday.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 29, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland, with Pastor Paul Bly officiating.
Interment was in the Midland cemetery.
A memorial is established.

Vivian Hamar
age 82 of Long Valley, South Dakota, died October 5, 2009, at her home in Long Valley.
Vivian Delores Huisman was born April 30, 1927, in South Sioux City, Nebraska, the daughter of Thomas Andrew and Margaret (Daniels) Huisman. She grew up in South Sioux City and graduated from high school in 1945. She was a member of the National Honor Society in high school. Vivian won a job to work in Washington, DC, after which she then worked for the Dakota County Judge in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
Vivian was united in marriage to Wayne Hamar on September 18, 1948 at Hope Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. In the spring of 1949, they moved to Long Valley, South Dakota, where she lived in a sod home. On August 4th, 1949, their first child Darla Gene was born. On January 1st, 1950, they moved to the Bar Five Ranch owned by Henry and Kate Zickrick. On August 22nd, 1952, Michael Wayne was born, followed by Debra Lynne on July 26th, 1958.
Vivian was a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Group in Long Valley.
She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #240 of Martin, and a longtime member of the Bennett County Extension Club.
Vivian loved gardening, cooking, and entertaining family and friends. She was an accomplished seamstress and very good at needlework and quilting. Her favorite flower was the Iris.
Survivors include her husband Wayne Hamar of Long Valley; one son Michael Hamar and his wife Patty of Long Valley; two daughters Darla Weisbeck of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Deb Svasek and her husband Ron of Rapid City; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three brothers Gene Huisman and his wife Louise of Houston, Texas, Gary Huisman and his wife JoAnne of Eugene, Oregon, and Dennis Huisman and his wife Kay of Sioux City, Iowa; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Shirley Green and brother-in-law Ed Green.
Visitation was held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 8, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Long Valley, and one hour preceding the services at the hall on Friday.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, at the Old American Legion Hall in Martin, with Pastor Frezil Westerlund officiating.
Interment was 3:00 p.m. CDT on Friday, at Mt. Hope cemetery in Valentine, Nebraska.
A memorial is established.

Donald Ivan Hamilton was born April 13, 1917 at Springview, Nebraska, one of five children born to Charles and Jessie (Jewett) Hamilton. He grew up on the family farm north of Springview, and attended rural elementary school in that area. As a young man, he worked on various farms, and enjoyed working with horses.
Donald was united in marriage to Dorothy Millard on July 23, 1938 at Winner, South Dakota, and to this union were born four children. The following year they moved to Kilgore, Nebraska, returning to Springview in 1940. They continued to live in Springview until 1960 when they moved to Kadoka, South Dakota, where Don worked at Jeff’s Truck Stop for thirteen years. His wife Dorothy preceded him in death on October 23, 1968.
He was united in marriage to Alma Quiver-Standing Soldier on May 5, 1973, and to this union were born five children. They moved to Fulton, South Dakota where Don worked on various farms. He retired and moved to Meadowlawn apartments in Mitchell, South Dakota. In 2002 he moved to the Philip Nursing Home, where he has since resided.
Survivors include his children, Lois Lurz of Hot Springs, Lila Whidby and her husband Bruce of Kadoka, Lyle Hamilton and his wife Clair of Norfolk, Nebraska, Lola Hulce and her husband Ron of Philip, Cheryl Bissell of Sioux Falls, Nathan Hamilton of Hibbing, Minnesota, Lela Hamilton of Sioux Falls, Leta Hilton of Summerville, South Carolina, and Donna Hamilton of Worthington, Minnesota; eighteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda Swan of Kadoka and Marjorie Jeffords of Rapid City; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his first wife Dorothy (Millard) Hamilton, and his second wife, Alma (Quiver-Standing Soldier) Hamilton, Don was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jeri Prater; a great-grandson, Joshua Hanson; his parents; and two brothers, Joyce Allen and Merle Eugene Hamilton.
Donald Ivan Hamilton, age 87, of Philip, formerly of Mitchell, died Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at the Philip nursing home.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 at the Philip Nursing Home, with Pastor Mark Ford officiating.
Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. CST at Mt. Hope cemetery in Springview, Nebraska, with Pastor Howard Dixon officiating.
A memorial is established.

Craig Hanrahan
age 54 of Philip, South Dakota, died August 19, 2009, at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip.
Craig L. Hanrahan was born December 28, 1954, in Rapid City, South Dakota, the son of Earl Leroy “Buddy” and Phyllis (Elshere) Hanrahan. He grew up on his parents’ farm-ranch west of Milesville. He attended West Fork and Cheyenne Rural Schools prior to graduating from Philip High School in 1973. As a young man, he worked with his parents on the farm-ranch. He and his brother Mark did custom farming in the Milesville area for a period of time.
Craig was united in marriage to Debbie Mowell on August 5, 1978, in Philip, South Dakota. They made their home on his parents’ farm-ranch a mile west of his parents. In 1982, they moved to the Big Stone Ranch near the Cheyenne River, where they continued to reside, farm and ranch until his death.
Craig attended the Hardingrove Church in Milesville and the United Church in Philip. He served on the Haakon County School Board for a total of 18 years. He was a member of the Howes Grazing Association and various other livestock associations. Craig was an avid outdoorsman enjoying 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, motorcycling and classic cars.
He also enjoyed attending farm and ranch shows, but most of all he enjoyed his grandson Torin.
Grateful for having shared his life include his wife Debbie of Philip; two sons Jaeson Hanrahan and Cody Hanrahan both of Philip; two daughters Christal Jackson and her husband Eric of Rapid City; and Carisa Hanrahan of Philip; two grandchildren McKay and Torin Jackson; his mother Phyllis Hanrahan of Philip; one brother Mark Hanrahan and his wife Pat of Milesville; two sisters Cathy Erdmann of Philip, and Becky Drury and her husband Neal of Rapid City; his mother-in-law Kay Couch of Philip; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Craig was preceded in death by his father Earl “Buddy” Hanrahan on February 1, 1981.
Visitation was held 4-7 p.m. on Friday, August 21, at the Philip High School, and two hours preceding the services at the gym on Saturday.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, at the Philip High School, with Pastor Gary Wahl officiating.
Interment was at the Masonic cemetery in Philip.

Velma P. Hanson, age 83, of Philip, died Tuesday evening, May 17, 2005, at the Philip Nursing Home.
Velma P. Lorang was born January 20, 1922, in Mt. Vernon, South Dakota, the daughter of Frank and Reta (Cherry) Lorang. She grew up on a farm near Mt. Vernon and attended the Furland and the Hopper Rural Schools prior to graduating in 1940 as salutatorian of the Mt. Vernon High School.
Velma was united in marriage to Hans E. Hanson on June 8, 1941, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home in Burbank, California for five years. During this time, their first child, Sharon, was born. When Hans entered the U.S. Army, Velma and Sharon moved back to Mt. Vernon where they lived with Hans’ mother Lizzie Hanson, until his discharge in 1946.
In 1946, the family moved to Madison, South Dakota, where the son Michael was born. Later they moved to Mitchell, where Hans operated a Standard Oil Bulk Agency. In October 1950, the family moved to Philip, South Dakota. While in Philip, their third child, Steve, was born in Kadoka. In 1953, Hans and Velma purchased the Ned Ronning City Meat Market and Locker Plant. In 1960, they built the Hanson’s Super Valu Store, which they operated until 1986 when they retired. After their retirement, they continued to make their home in Philip.
Velma was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Philip, and the Women’s Auxiliary of the church.
Grateful for having shared her life include her husband Hans E. Hanson of Philip; a daughter Sharon Johnson and her husband Orrin of Watertown, Connecticut, and their children and spouses, Scott and Lisa Johnson, Matthew and Daphne Johnson, Craig and Rhashell Johnson, and Carrie and Chad McCoy; two sons Michael Hanson and his wife Shizuko of Fairfax, Virginia, and their son Mark; and Steve Hanson and his future wife Paulette Osborne of Nashville, Tennessee; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters Iris Hubbard and her husband George of Moses Lake, Washington, and Phyllis Thomas and her husband Lowell of Chamberlain; a sister-in-law Jeanette Lorang of Mitchell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Elwood Lorang.
Visitation was held 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, at the Rush Funeral Home in Philip, and one hour preceding the services at the legion hall on Monday.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 23, at the American Legion Hall in Philip, with Pastor Ann Schlossnagle officiating.
Interment was 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Black Hills National cemetery near Sturgis.

Lucile Velva Bell was born November 13, 1912, on her parents’ homestead in what was then Stanley County, near Marietta, South Dakota, the daughter of James and Velva (Wedeman) Bell.
She attended school in Haakon County rural schools and graduated from Philip High School in 1930. After two years at Marietta Consolidation School and one year in Gordon, Nebraska, she attended Black Hills Teachers College one year, earning a teacher’s certificate and began her teaching career with five years in rural schools in Haakon County. After attending Northern State College in Aberdeen to earn a State Certificate, she taught primary grades in various schools in South Dakota, including Bowdle, Gayville, Platte, Lead and Aberdeen. After her marriage she returned to teaching in Midland, South Dakota and then Philip, where she retired in 1980 after thirty-eight and one half years teaching.
During this time, she took summer and extension courses and graduated from Black Hills State College in 1970. During World War II, she and her sister spent a year at Hill Field Air Base at Ogden, Utah where they did clerical work but returned to teaching.
Lucile Bell and Clinton Harry were united in marriage August 1, 1946 at First Lutheran Church in Philip. They made their home near Midland until Clinton’s death January 15, 1968. She remained there until moving to Philip in 1971, although for several years, she spent summers and vacations in Midland while teaching in Philip.
Lucile was a member of First Lutheran Church, the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #100, Bad River Senior Citizens Center, and the Philip Area Retired Teachers all of Philip. She was also a member of the New Century Federated Women’s Club for many years in Midland.
For a number of years, Lucile read a story to primary children each week when they visited the school library. She loved children and enjoyed keeping in touch with school after retirement.
Grateful for having shared her life include her two sons, Keith Harry and his wife Cheryl of Midland, and Lee Harry and his wife Bonnie of Dillon, Montana; two grandchildren, Jason Harry of Philip, and Lynette Harry of Custer; one niece; seven nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband Clinton Harry, Lucile was preceded in death by two sisters Hazel Ferguson and Boneta Warren, and a brother John Bell.
Lucile V. Harry, age 91, of Philip, died Thursday, July 01, 2004 at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip.
Visitation was held 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2004 at the Rush Funeral Home in Philip, and one hour preceding the services at the church on Tuesday.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, at the First Lutheran Church in Philip, with Pastor Paul Bly officiating.
Interment with Eastern Star Services was held at the Masonic cemetery, Philip.
A memorial is established to the First Lutheran Church of Philip and the Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland.

George Thomas "Tom" Hart
age 54 of Brea, California, formerly of Philip, SD, died March 16, 2010, at his home in Brea, California, after battling cancer for more than 22 years.
George Thomas “Tom” Hart was born September 29th, 1955, the fourth of six children born to George and Ella (Fitch) Hart. Tom graduated from Philip High School in 1974 and moved to Denver, Colorado for twenty-four years and then to Brea, California, where he has since resided.
Tom was united in marriage to Cindy Graupner and to this union were born two children, George T. “T.J.” Hart III and Katie Hart. Later, Tom was united in marriage to Rita Meyer.
Tom leaves behind his wife Rita (Meyer) Hart of Brea, California; one son TJ Hart and his wife Tamar of Brea; one daughter Katie Hart of West Palm Beach, Florida; one step-son Damien and his wife Brooks of Ladera Ranch, California; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; his father George T. Hart, Sr. and his wife Barbara of Thorton, Colorado; four sisters Linda Kuchenbecker and her husband Keith of Black Hawk, Pam Ingram and her husband Jerry of Philip, Cindy O’Connell and her husband Kent of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, and Susan Heinz and her husband Jack of Philip; one brother Steven Hart and his wife Vickie of Arvada, Colorado; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his mother Ella (Fitch) Hart; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Services will be held March 27th at Memory Garden Memorial Park and Mortuary in Brea, California.
A second memorial service was held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Philip, with Father Tim Hoag as celebrant.

Mary Virginia Harty, age 96, of Milesville, died Monday, August 07, 2006, at Maryhouse in Pierre.
Mary Virginia Gillaspie was born March 18, 1910, on her grandparents’ homestead at Kimbro, South Dakota, the daughter of Thomas H. and Lelia (Kimbro) Gillaspie. She grew up in the Ottumwa area and attended rural schools in that community. She attended Midland High School for three years prior to graduating from Mt. Marty Academy in Yankton. She taught rural school in Haakon and Jones counties for eleven years.
Virginia was united in marriage to Leo S. Harty on May 20, 1939, in Milesville, South Dakota. They made their home in Timber Lake where Leo worked for Farm Security Administration. Later, they moved to Bison and then to Pierre. In 1942, they moved to a farm-ranch in the Milesville area, which they continued to operate until retiring in the late 1960’s. After her husband’s death on March 29, 1995, she continued to reside on the farm-ranch until 2000, when she moved into Philip due to health reasons. In 2003, she moved to Maryhouse in Pierre, where she has since resided.
Grateful for having shared her life include three sons Tom Harty and his wife Helen of Milesville, Hugh Harty and his wife Delia of Milesville, and Pat Harty and his wife Linda of Pierre; nine grandchildren, Tommy Harty and his wife Alice, and Victoria Cook and her husband Chandler, Moneik, James, and Edward Harty, and Nicole Molseed and her husband Sam, Bryan, Gianna, and Matthew Harty; three great-grandchildren Jacob Thomas Molseed, Michael Victor Molseed, and William Thomas Cook; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband Leo, Virginia was preceded in death by one brother Thomas Gillaspie, and two sisters Margaret Reiman and Lelia Maeder.
Visitation was held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, all at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Philip.
Mass of Christian Burial was held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 10, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Ron Garry as celebrant.
Interment was in the Masonic cemetery.
A memorial is established.
Arrangements are with the Rush Funeral Home of Philip.

Nanda Jeevandhar Hastantar, age 45, of Philip, died Monday evening, April 12, 2004 as a result of an automobile accident, east of Miller, South Dakota.
Nanda is originally from India where she was employed as an engineer. Before moving to Philip in the fall of 2003, Nanda was in Chicago where she worked in the school system.
Grateful for having shared her life include her daughter Meghana Hastantar of India; her parents Dr. H.V. Jeevandhara Kumar and Shakuntala (Rukminamma) Jeevandhara Kumar; and several other family members and friends.
There will be a memorial service 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2004 at the Philip High School Armory Gym.

Lucille Haynes
age 86 of Longvalley, South Dakota, died April 3, 2009, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital
Lucille Williams was born January 8, 1923, in Curtis, Nebraska, the daughter of Roy and Gladys (Powell) Williams. She was raised and graduated high school in Curtis.
On December 21, 1940, Lucille was united in marriage to William “Bill” Haynes of Parmalee, South Dakota. To this union were born eleven children. They made their home in southwest South Dakota.
Lucille was a full time homemaker and mother. She worked hard all her life and instilled her work ethic in her children. Lucille was a 4-H leader for many years and received honors and awards for her dedication. After her years of leadership she turned her attention to judging at county fairs. Lucille was a member and involved in several extension clubs in the area. She was an accomplished seamstress, sewing most of the clothes her children wore from birth through high school. She embroidered and quilted baby blankets for the birth of each grandchild and great-grandchild. Each grandchild received a knitted or crocheted afghan for their high school graduation. Lucille also enjoyed gardening and canning the harvested crops. As a lifetime member of the Longvalley Community Church, she was involved in the Ladies Bible Study, a Sunday School teacher, served on the board, occasional pianist and a major contributor at the annual bazaar. Lucille was an avid reader all her life, enjoying the Reader’s Digest Condensed books, an intriguing mystery or a steamy romance. Lucille, AKA the Egg Lady, raised chickens and kept several customers in town supplied with farm fresh eggs. The past several years she has donated her time and energy to the Community Action Program in Martin.
Lucille is survived by her nine children, Veryl (Sharlyn) Haynes of Bridgewater; Lynette (Darrel) Batie, of Hermosa; Audrey Brooks of Rapid City; Kathleen (Merlon) Bochman of Hill City; Doug Haynes of Hot Springs; Don (Jolene) Haynes of Philip; Sarah (Bob) Hopkins of Pahrump, NV; Loren (Anna) Haynes of Martin; and Doreen (Randy) Harter of Rapid City; a daughter-in-law Janelle Haynes of Martin; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one sister LaVaughn Schmidt of Curtis, Nebraska; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Larry Haynes and Lyle Haynes; two grandchildren Michael and Michelle Haynes; and one great-grandson Andrew Briscoe.
Visitation was held 4-7 p.m. on Monday, April 6, at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Longvalley.
Memorial services were held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at the Old American Legion in Martin.
Private family interment was at the Longvalley cemetery.
A memorial is established.

Marjorie A. Adams was born May 11, 1904 at Niobrara, Nebraska, the daughter of Raymond T. and Frances (Handcock) Adams.
Her family moved to the Cottonwood, South Dakota community in 1906. She attended the Sunnyside Rural School in the area. As a young lady, she worked for Sam Davis in the Cottonwood Store.
Marjorie attended beauty school at Green’s Beauty College in Rapid City. She worked in Lead, South Dakota for a time then she moved to Faith, South Dakota, where she owned and operated her own shop for eleven years. In the late 1940’s she returned to the Philip area where she opened her own shop, which she continued to operate until her retirement. She made her home in Cottonwood until health reasons forced her into the Philip Nursing Home in 1998.
Grateful for having shared her life are her two nieces Jean Walker of Humbird, Wisconsin, and Vonna Hawley and her husband Don of Goodman, Wisconsin; a nephew Charles Fees and his wife Wanda of Tenino,Washington; several cousins; special friends, Earl Eliason, Andrea and Jerald Cook all of Cottonwood, and Bob Blair of Philip; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Dorothea Fees and Louise Manley; and two brother Raymond and Maurice Adams.
Marjorie A. Hazlett, age 99, of Philip, formerly of Cottonwood, died Monday evening, March 29, 2004 at Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip.
Visitation was held 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, at the Rush Funeral Home in Philip, and one hour preceding the services at the church.
Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 2, at the United Church in Philip, with Pastor Mark Ford officiating.
Interment was in the Cottonwood cemetery, Cottonwood, South Dakota.
Family request memorial be directed to a charity of your choice.
