Bertha Muller
age 95 of Wall, South Dakota, died October 12, 2008, at the Golden Living Center of the Black Hills in Rapid City.
Bertha (Simpfenderfer) Muller was born Dec. 7, 1912 to Karl and Margaretha Simpfenderfer in Sarata Bessarabia, Russia and came to the USA with her parents, four brothers and one sister. The family ended up in Golden Valley, North Dakota, on March, 15, 1914, where Bertha grew up and received her education, was baptized and confirmed.
In the year of 1934, Bertha and Emil Muller were united in marriage at the Lutheran Church in Rapid City, South Dakota. Together they spent most of their life in Wall where they shared 72 years of wedded bliss. Bertha always felt blessed with a happy marriage and she treasured her close relationship with her children.
Bertha was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Wall. During this time she held several positions with the Ladies Aid and also served the community by delivering meals on wheels. Some of her favorite past time activities included crocheting, gardening, playing cards and enjoyed long visits with her family and friends. Bertha would use the fruits of her labor from her garden and enjoyed passing out her crocheted dish cloths to family and friends..
Grateful for having shared her life include her three daughters, Laura (Theodore) Kjerstad of Quinn, Donna (Dean) Zubke of Rapid City, and Beverly (Hal) Sims of Wichita, Kansas; and 70 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Bertha will always be remembered for her uplifting spirit, contagious smile, loving her family and spending time with friends. Bertha’s most often used phrase during any gathering was, “Is everybody happy?"
Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Emil on March 11, 2007, their son Dale, her parents, seven brothers, three sisters and one great granddaughter.
Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, at the Rush Funeral Home in Wall, and one hour preceding the services at the church on Thursday.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, at the First Lutheran Church in Wall, with Pastor Lowell Boettcher officiating.
Interment will be in the Wall cemetery.

Kathleen "Kay" Naescher
age 81 of Wall, South Dakota, died July 14, 2009, at the Hospice of the Hills in Rapid City.
Kathleen Pauline Reinbold was born February 17, 1928, at Trail City, South Dakota, the daughter of James and Margaret (Schwingler) Reinbold. She received her education at a rural school, called the Reinbold School, which was located on her parents’ land. She attended Mobridge High School, Mount Marty High School at Yankton, and two years at the National School of Business in Rapid City.
Kathleen married Hilary “Larry” Naescher on October 27, 1948, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wall.
Her husband Hilary preceded her in death on February 3, 2002. She continued to make her home in Wall until moving into the Silverleaf in Philip in January 2005. In July 2006, she moved into the Philip Nursing Home where she has since resided.
Kathleen was a member of the Live and Learn Club and the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Altar Society for over 50 years. She enjoyed keeping up her house, gardening, canning, sewing, and crocheting. Kathleen always enjoyed her nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Grateful for having shared her life are her children Mike Naescher and his wife Marie of Wall, and grandchildren Brian (Briana), Darin (Kelsie) and Gregory; John Naescher and his wife Twila of Wall, and grandchildren Gary (Sommerlyn) and great-grandchildren Malaya and Miranda, and grandson Chris; LeRoy Naescher and his wife Carol of Oacoma and grandchildren Shonna (Jim) Riggs and great-grandchildren Teisha, Elijah, Josiah, Jeffrey, Macey, and Hilarie, and grandson Justin (Sarah) and great-grandson Kane; and Cleone Cozine and her husband Bruce of Chamberlain, and grandchildren Steven and Katie; four brothers Francis Reinbold and his wife Ann of Mobridge, John Reinbold of Trail City, Wilfred Reinbold and his wife Marjorie of Mobridge, and Jim Reinbold and his wife Nancy of Wagner; two sisters Dorothy Thomas and her husband Bernard of Spearfish, and Delores Maxon and her husband Frank of Bismarck, North Dakota; one brother-in-law Ludwig Thomas of Glencross, South Dakota; one sister-in-law Alice Naescher of Wall; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband Hilary, Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters Marjorie Kelly and Bernadine Thomas.
Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wall, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial was held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wall, with Father Ron Garry as celebrant.
Interment was in the Wall cemetery.
A memorial is established.

Mary Lee Nedved, age 52, of Rapid City, formerly of Milesville, died Sunday, September 3, 2006, at her residence in Rapid City.
Mary Lee Nedved was born December 29, 1953, in Kadoka, South Dakota, the daughter of John J. and Mae M. (Picker) Nedved. She grew up on the family farm northeast of Milesville, South Dakota. At the age of fourteen, her mother died and her father and she continued to live on the farm. In 1978, they moved to Rapid City. Mary spent one year in Redfield, and six months in Spearfish before returning to Rapid City where she has since resided. She has been employed at the Black Hills Workshop since 1980.
Grateful for having shared her life is her special friends Mark Miller and Karen Jensen of Rapid City; her special friends and family at the Black Hills Workshop; and several aunts and uncles.
Mary was preceded in death by her father John J. Nedved on September 28, 2001; her mother Mae Picker in 1967, and her step-mother Frances Nedved.
Visitation was held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, at the Rush Funeral Home in Philip, and one hour preceding the services at the church on Thursday.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 7, at the Evangelical Free Church in Philip, with Pastor Gary Wahl officiating.
Interment will be in the Masonic cemetery, Philip.

Roger Dale Neiffer, age 72, of Kadoka, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007 with his life partner, Pat and his children at his side at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip, South Dakota.
Roger Neiffer was born April 30, 1934 on the plains of Long Valley, South Dakota, the fourth of seven children born to Jake and Viola (Kursave) Neiffer. He grew up and received his elementary education in Long Valley, then attended Bennett County High School in Martin. After his education, Roger worked for Donald Handcock for twenty-one years as a ranch-hand, farm-hand and mechanic.
He married Audrey Mansfield on November 13, 1952 and to this union were born four children, Monty, Laurel, Karen and Weston. In 1986 Roger moved to Kadoka and in July 1988 he met his life-partner, Pat Kozlik. They made their home in Kadoka where Roger worked with Rich Hildebrand in the concrete business. Roger worked for Merle Stilwell for a time and then again with Hildebrand Construction until April 2006, when health reasons forced him to retire.
Roger enjoyed playing his guitar and singing, working, riding and roping, hunting, fishing, playing pool, bowling, rock hunting and coffeeing.
He was a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Long Valley, Long Valley Gun Club, Roping Club, Community Club and Fire Department. Roger was also a member of the Kadoka Volunteer Fire Department, Nursing Home Association and Trap Shoot Club.
Survivors include his life partner, Pat of Kadoka and her daughter, Tammy (Kozlick) and Jerry Messick of Herrington, Delaware; two sons, Monty Neiffer and Deb of Valentine, NE.; Weston Neiffer and Jodi of Spearfish; and two daughters, Laurel Hildebrand and friend Rusty of Kadoka; and Karen Gibson and Ray of Philip; ten grandchildren: Shelly (Neiffer) Rolfe and Matt of Kearney, NE; Miles Neiffer and friend, Jenny of Tampa, FL; Heath Hildebrand and friend, Amara, of Denver, CO; Heidi (Hildebrand) Coller and Sauntee of Kadoka; Haven Hildebrand and friend Lindsey of Wall; Hannah (Gibson) Griffin and Matt of Denver, CO; RaeAnn (Gibson) Snyder and JR of Philip; Emery Quinn Gibson of Philip; Elle and Charlie Ann Neiffer of Spearfish; and Rhianna Messick of Herrington, Delaware; nine great-grandchildren: Jerica, Jadyn and Jyntre Coller of Kadoka; Keelee, Kaia, and Karsyn Griffin of Denver; and Jaisa, Parker and Rainee Snyder of Philip; one brother, Hiram Neiffer of Hill City; two sisters, Mardella Preble and Elaine Nelson of Rapid City; a number of neices and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by a son in infancy; a great-granddaughter, Jaylee Dae Coller; his parents; and three brothers, Gene, Dean and Edward Neiffer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 13 from 3:00 until 7:00 at Rush Funeral Chapel in Kadoka and also one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the auditorium. There was a family prayer service at 7:00 Tuesday evening.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at the Kadoka City Auditorium, with Father Bryan Sorensen officiating.
Interment was at the Longvalley Community cemetery.
A memorial is established.

Daniel J. "Danny" Nelson
age 41 of Aurora, South Dakota, died December 14, 2008, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Daniel Joseph Nelson was born July 1, 1967, at Brookings, South Dakota, to Jerry and Mary (Holm) Nelson. He was raised at Brookings, the second oldest of eight children. He graduated from Brookings High School. He joined the South Dakota National Guard in 1986. On July 19, 1997, he married Jana Fauske at Wall, South Dakota. Danny was employed by Midwest Insulation, Bowes Construction, and PKG Contracting.
Danny was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Aurora and served as a church elder. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting turkeys and deer, dirt track racing, and camping. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Survivors include his wife, Jana Nelson, of Aurora, South Dakota; his mother, Mary Nelson, of Brookings; father, Jerry Nelson, of Brookings; paternal grandmother, Viola (Dale) Wagner, of Brookings; seven siblings: Shellice (Rich) Daly of Aurelia, Iowa, Philip Nelson of Springfield, Oregon, Shonda Nelson of White, South Dakota, Jonathon Nelson of Rapid City, South Dakota, Jaime Nelson of Brookings, Jeffrey Nelson of Spearfish, South Dakota, and Toby (Ginger) Nelson of White, South Dakota; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Norman and Lorraine Fauske, of Wall, South Dakota; sister-in-law, Lisa (David) Schalk of San Francisco, California; brother-in-law, Mark (Alyson) Fauske of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alvin Nelson; maternal grandparents, Jens and Genevieve Holm; an uncle, Rodney Nelson; aunts Lori Holm and Deanna Holm; and cousins, Patrick Smith, Heather Holm, and Dawn Nelson.
Funeral services were 3:00 P.M. Thursday, December 18, 2008, at the First English Lutheran Church in Aurora, with visitations preceding services at the church, beginning at 1:00 P.M.
A prayer service was held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 20, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Creighton, South Dakota.
Interment followed in the Creighton cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to First English Lutheran Church in Aurora or the Regions Hospital Burn Unit, St. Paul, Minnesota.

James Severin "Jim" Nelson, age 83, of Philip, died Monday, October 15, 2007, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
James Severin Nelson was born May 3, 1924, the son of Nestor and Anna (Hovland) Nelson, at the O.N. Hauge ranch at Powell, South Dakota. He attended grade school at Old Trail School. Jim attended high school at Philip High School, graduated in 1942 as valedictorian of his class and received a scholarship to School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City. After attending one semester, Jim answered his country's call to duty and enlisted in the Army Air Force on December 12, 1942. After attending flight school, Jim was assigned to the 755th Bombardment Wing, 15th AF stationed at Foggia, Italy, where he was a veteran of 21 combat missions as a pilot flying B-24 Bombers. After his discharge on November 11, 1945, he returned home and went into the ranching business with his family on the Hauge ranch.
On December 28, 1948, Jim was united in marriage to Marion Jewel Hoag at Rapid City. They made their home at the ranch east of Powell, where they raised cattle and a family of six daughters and one son. In 1978, they moved to Philip where they managed the Thunderbird Motel. In 1981, they worked for Motel 6 managing several motels around the country. Returning to Philip in 1983, they retired to enjoy their Golden Years. Jim and Marion enjoyed traveling to visit their children in the various parts of the country and visiting and playing cards with the "boys" at the card room in Philip. He was an active member for many years in the Haakon County Republican Parts and Haakon County Farm Bureau. Jim served on the Board of Directors of the hospital under Lutheran Homes and was a member of the Wheeler-Brooks Post #173 of the American Legion. He was active in the Presbyterian Church of Philip, serving as an Elder for many years until his death on October 15, 2007.
Jim is survived by his wife Marion of Philip; five daughters Beth Flom and her husband Dave of Midland, Jeanne Hansen and her husband Eric of Port Angeles, Washington, Kay Modde and her husband Tim of Vernal, Utah, Ruth Zebroski and her husband Fred of Lander, Wyoming, and Sue Titus and her husband Bob of Westboro, Massachusetts; one son Mark Nelson and his wife Karen of Philip; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a son-in-law Bob Fortune of Belvidere; one brother Martin Nelson and his wife Vera of Philip; one sister Norma Nelson of Rapid City; thirteen nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by a daughter Joan Marie Fortune; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; his parents; one brother, one sister in infancy; and his great-uncle Olaf Hauge.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, at the Rush Funeral Home in Philip, and one hour preceding the services at the church on Friday.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 19, at the United Church in Philip, with Pastor Mark Ford officiating.
Interment with military honors will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 19, at the Black Hills National cemetery near Sturgis, with Father Tim Hoag officiating.
A memorial is established.

Jennifer Leann Nelson, age 16, of Midland, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Jennifer Leann Nelson was born October 15, 1990, in Rapid City, South Dakota, the daughter of Wesley and Nicole (Ireland) Nelson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland. She grew up in Midland as well as her grandparents' ranch outside of Midland. She received her education in Midland until the 10th grade, when she transferred to Philip. Although she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth, the amount of accomplishments she achieved in her short life were endless. While in Midland, she played 5th and 6th grade basketball, she was a member of the Badlands Gymnastics in Kadoka for over six years, the Midland Tumblers, was a cheerleader for the Midland Vikings Boys Basketball Team and also took piano lessons. Jennifer was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the youth group of Midland, was a junior member of the Midland American Legion Auxiliary, the Bad River Buckaroos 4-H Club, and the Haakon Jackson 4-H Junior Leaders, and a member of the FCCLA.
Midland was always home to Jennifer, and the feelings she felt when coming down the hill to Midland after being in the hospital were overwhelming. When she transferred to Philip at the beginning of the school year, she felt that was her transfer to adulthood. Midland was her childhood home, and now Philip was her adulthood home.
Jen's greatest joy was babies and little children. She enjoyed spending time with her cousins, and the rest of her family, including her dog "Lucky". She took a great interest in photography, and loved to cook.
Jennifer had a very special team of doctors, nurses and staff in Omaha, as well as in Philip, and their kindness will never be forgotten.
Grateful for having shared her life are her parents Wes and Nicki Nelson of Midland; her brother James Nelson of Midland; her paternal grandparents Olaf and Rose Nelson of Midland; her maternal grandparents Lyndy and Kenny Ireland of Philip; her great-grandfather Shorty Ireland of Kadoka; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins that were very special to her.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Betty Ireland, Vint and Louisa Williams, Irene and Albert Rittel, and Oliver and Edrie Nelson.
Visitation was held Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Philip High School, and one hour preceding the services at the School on Saturday.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 20, at the Philip High School with Pastor Paul Bly officiating.
Interment was 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Midland cemetery.

Olaf "Ole" Nelson, age 75, of Midland, died Tuesday evening, July 10, 2007, at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital.
Olaf Nelson was born September 8, 1931 at the family farmstead north of Midland, the son of Oliver and Edrie (Faubel) Nelson. He grew up and received his education north of Midland, attending the Pleasant View rural school and Midland High School, graduating in 1949. After graduation, he worked on the ranch for a short time before entering the United States Army. Ole served in the Korean War. While in the service Ole received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. After his honorable discharge, Ole returned to the ranch where he worked with his father and brother.
Ole was united in marriage to Rose Rittel on July 22, 1964, in Kadoka, South Dakota. They lived on the farm-ranch northwest of Midland all their married life.
Grandkids were Ole's pride and joy, cherishing every moment he spent with them. Ole enjoyed everyday life on the farm and music, playing the piano, banjo, mandolin, as well as singing. He was a member of the "Farmhands" band and also played with PeeWee Dennis in his band.
Survivors include his wife Rose of Midland; five sons Wes Nelson and his wife Nicki of Midland, Wayne Nelson and his wife Stacey of New Underwood, Wade Nelson and his wife Becky of Ft. Pierre, Justin Nelson of Durant, Iowa, and Curtis Nelson and his wife Tanya of Pierre; eight grandchildren; two brothers Clayton Nelson of Pierre and Roald Nelson of Philip; three sisters Arline Petoske and her husband Clarence of Midland, Nadine Stamm and her husband Richard of Greensburg, Louisiana., and Marcia Jackson and her husband Bill of Hot Springs; one sister-in-law Delores Nelson of Anderson, California; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ole was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter Jennifer Nelson on January 16, 2007; and a brother Rupert Nelson in the Korean War.
Visitation was held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland, and one hour preceding the services at the church on Saturday.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland, with Pastor Paul Bly officiating.
Interment will be in the Midland cemetery.
A memorial is established.

Rena Nemec
age 91 of Midland, South Dakota, died March 7, 2010, at the Philip Nursing Home.
Henderena (DeYoung) Nemec better known as “Rena” to her family and friends was born September 6, 1918, the daughter of Jacob and Edith (Koenders) DeYoung in Midland, South Dakota.
She grew up on her family’s farm/ranch northwest of Midland. She attended grade school at Eureka and then graduated from Midland High School. After graduation, she received her teaching certificate from Spearfish Normal. Rena taught one year of school at Eureka Rural School north of Midland, before teaching one year at Phoeba Rural School north of Midland.
She was united in marriage to Jerome T. Nemec on May 24, 1939 in Midland, South Dakota. To this union were born five children; Jerry, Patty, Larry, Richard, and Marjorie. After their marriage they made their home on Jerome’s farm/ranch twelve miles north of Midland.
Jerome died on July 16, 1984.
Rena continued to live on the farm-ranch for several years before moving into Midland. In 1998, Rena moved into the Silverleaf Assisted Living Center in Philip and in January 2001 she moved into the Philip Nursing Home, where she has since resided.
Rena enjoyed and was a long time member of the Victory Extension Club. She also enjoyed music by listening, or playing the organ and piano. She was also a member of St. William’s Catholic Church and St. William’s Altar Society.
Rena was the last of the older Nemec generation.
Grateful for having shared her life are her four children, Jerry Nemec and his wife Sonia of Midland, Richard Nemec of Midland, Larry Nemec and his wife Mary of Pierre, and Marjorie Iwan of Midland; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister Margaret Crawford of Pratt, Kansas; a son-in-law Jerry Henderson of Valentine, Nebraska; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Rena was preceded in death by her husband Jerome, a daughter Patty Henderson; her parents, and three brothers, Harold, Herbert, and Richard DeYoung.
Visitation washeld 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m., all at St. William's Catholic Church in Midland.
Mass of Christian Burial was held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 11, at St. William's Catholic Church in Midland, with Father Ron Garry officiating.
Interment was in the Midland cemetery.
A memorial is established.

Ernest "Ernie" Neumann
age 80 of Cottonwood, South Dakota, died February 18, 2010, at his home near Cottonwood.
Ernest Earl Neumann was born April 14, 1929, on his parents’ farm-ranch located eleven miles south of Cottonwood, the son of Carl William and Maude (Redman) Neumann. He grew up on the farm-ranch and attended rural grade school in that area, by riding horse to and from school.
As a young man he stayed on the farm-ranch with his parents, and his brother Sam. He attended the Curtis Breeding Service in Gary, Illinois, to learn how to AI cattle, and also attended the Grimms School of Cattleman in Kansas.
He was united in marriage to Patty Jean Truman on November 7, 1965 at New Underwood, South Dakota. After their marriage they resided on the Neumann Ranch all their married life. During that time, he and his brother Sam, and their wives, operated a dairy for over fifty years, which was one of the first dairies to have computerized machinery in the United States. They also raised wheat and cattle. After his brother Sam moved to town, Ernie and Jean continued to operate the ranch for three years.
Ernie loved music, and especially dancing. You could often find him taking long walks, singing, listening to music and ball games on the radio in his car. He also was an avid pool player, earning many trophies at various tournaments. Ernie enjoyed fishing and rock collecting. He served on the Cedar Community Water Association board for several terms.
From birth to death, Ernie lived his whole life in the same house.
Survivors include his wife Patty Jean of Cottonwood; one brother Samuel Neumann and his wife Gail of Philip; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ernie was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held one hour preceding the services at the church on Monday.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 22, at the Presbyterian Church in Kadoka, with Ken Toews officiating.
Interment was 2:00 p.m. Monday, at Pine Lawn cemetery in Rapid City.

Arlys Neville
age 76 of Philip, South Dakota, formerly of Milesville, died September 22, 2009, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Arlys Lee Hansen was born May 22, 1933, the daughter of Wallace “Bud” and Helga (Ellefson) Hansen. She was raised by Bud and Marie Hansen on the Hansen ranch.
Arlys was united in marriage to Robert S. Neville on October 15, 1950, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Philip, and to this union five children were born. Arlys and Bob worked for various ranchers around the Philip area. In 1963 they purchased the Ed and Opal Bodkin place west of Billsburg, where they resided until moving into Philip in 2008.
Arlys was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Milesville.
Grateful for having shared her life include her husband of nearly 59 years, Bob Neville; three sons Kenny Neville and his wife Nancy of Philip, Bobby Gene Neville and his wife Tootie of Rapid City, and Randy Neville and his wife Bessie of El Paso, Texas; one daughter Marlys “Molly” Kukal and her husband Marty of Garrison, Montana; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; her mother Marie Hansen of Philip; three brothers Jack Hansen and his wife Donna of Philip, Darryl Hansen and his wife Kay of Stockton, California, and Bob Hansen and his wife LaVonne of Howes; three sisters Paula Poss and her husband Bill of Riverside, California, Charlene Reed and her husband Sonny of Pierre, and Shirley Raue of Pierre; one sister-in-law Sandy Hansen of Winner; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Arlys was preceded in death by a daughter Marilyn Neville on July 24, 1992; her parents; and two brothers Richard “Zip” Hansen and Gene Hansen.
Visitation was held 4-7 p.m. on Friday, September 25, at the Rush Funeral Home in Philip, and one hour preceding the services at the church on Saturday.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 26, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Philip, with Pastor Ray Greenseth officiating.
Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, at the Milesville cemetery.
A memorial is established.
