Paul Patrick Hohn, age 56, of San Ramon, California, (formerly of Dimock) died August 21 in Houston, Texas. He was buried at Sunset View cemetery, El Cerrito, California.

While attending SDSM&T, Paul worked a summer internship and then took a job with Getty Oil upon graduation.

Paul worked for Chevron as a Decision Analyst. He traveled all over the world to evaluate oil fields for development. He received a great deal of gratification from his career at Chevron. Paul began his career with Getty Oil in Bakersfield, California. Getty merged with Texaco in 1985, which merged with Chevron in 2001. They also traveled extensively, enjoying both trekking and backroad trips including the Canadian Rockies, Italy, Switzerland and France. He also spent several weeks traveling around Germany with his son, David, and daughter, Rachel.

Paul’s brothers will remember one of their “Little Brother’s” traits was being very competitive in everything that he did, always playing by the rules and refusing to cheat. Paul’s hobbies included traveling, hiking, biking, camping, and wine and beer tasting, and jazz, folk and blue grass music. He was an avid baseball fan and football fanatic. He was a Minnesota Vikings fan, through and through, and he was blessed with an extra-worldly talent for fantasy football. When the football season was over his attention turned to basketball, hockey and baseball.

In addition to his children Ryan, San Francisco, California, David, San Diego, California, Rachel, Santa Cruz, California, and Sheri, his fiancée; Paul also is survived by his brothers.
