WESTBEND, Wis. - Roseable Oshier, 81, Westbend and formerly of Rapid City, died Wednesday, May 8, 2002, in Westbend.
Survivors include one nephew, Charles Shreve, Troy, Mich.
Arrangements are pending with Campbell, Paula & Quinn Funeral Home in Rapid City.
Jeremy 'JD' Gortmaker
ST. LAWRENCE - Jeremy "JD" Gortmaker, 17, St. Lawrence, died Friday, May 10, 2002, at Hand County Memorial Hospital in Miller as a result of a motor-vehicle accident.
Survivors include his mother, Sharon Verdugt, St. Lawrence; one sister, Joni Hammill and her father, Ron Hammill, both of St. Lawrence; one brother, Laramie Urban, Rapid City; three stepsisters; and grandmothers Zona Verdugt, St. Lawrence, and Phyllis Keaslings, Hot Springs.
His father, Jerry Gortmaker, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, at Reck Funeral Home in Miller.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Miller National Guard Armory, with the Rev. Nels Easterby officiating. Burial will be at St. Lawrence cemetery.
Ida L. Huether
RAPID CITY - Ida L. Huether, 88, Rapid City and formerly of Wall, died Thursday, May 9, 2002, at Clarkson Mountain View Health Care Facility in Rapid City.
Survivors include two sons, Pete Huether, Rapid City, and Ewald Huether, Douglas, Wyo.; one sister, Kate Grob, Columbia, Ill.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Huether.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Rush Funeral Chapel in Wall.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 13, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wall, with Vicar Monty Dell officiating. Burial will be at Wall cemetery.
A memorial has been established to First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wall.
Keith E. Cahill
STURGIS - Keith E. Cahill, 71, Sturgis, died Sunday, May 12, 2002, at Black Hills Health Care System in Fort Meade.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Cahill, Vancouver, Wash., and Dale Cahill, California; one daughter, Tammi Cahill, Connell, Wash.; three grandchildren; one brother, Eugene Cahill, Portland, Ore.; and one sister, Virginia Freeman, Sturgis.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1962.
Graveside services, with military honors by Sturgis Area Veterans Honor Guard, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Black Hills National cemetery near Sturgis, with Chaplain Moe Greiner officiating.

Thomas Lew Heathershaw
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Thomas Lew Heathershaw, 67, St. Petersburg and formerly of Hot Springs, S.D., and Rapid City, died Friday, May 10, 2002, at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Heathershaw, St. Petersburg; two daughters, Laurie Edwards and Diane Penney, both of St. Petersburg; two brothers, Lyle Heathershaw, Boise, Idaho, and Gerald Heathershaw, Lincoln, Neb.; and one grandson.
He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War.
Services will be held at Bay Pines National cemetery in Bay Pines, Fla.

William R. 'Bill' Morrison
AINSWORTH, Neb. - Former teacher, coach and insurance agent, William R. Morrison, 62, of Ainsworth, Neb., died Saturday, May 11, 2002, in Rapid City, S.D., after an 8-month battle with cancer.
Bill was born in Hot Springs, S.D., to William E. and Helen (Roller) Morrison on March 26, 1940. He received his early education from the Edgemont Public Schools. He attended Black Hills Teachers College at Spearfish and graduated from Chadron State College. He earned a Master's Degree from Wayne State College, Wayne, Neb., in 1976. Bill began his teaching career in Lusk, Wyo., then moved to Nebraska, where he taught and coached at the secondary level in O'Neill, Fremont Bergan,
Oakland-Craig, Ainsworth and Wayne State College. He was an enthusiastic wrestling coach and did much to promote wrestling within the state. He was inducted into the Nebraska Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame in 1991.
In 1978 Bill left the teaching profession and became an independent insurance agent in the St. Paul, Neb., area. He was forced into retirement in 1991 after a severe heart attack, after which time he spent many months in his beloved Black Hills, where he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Bill married
Teresa Stec at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Long Pine, Neb., on May 29, 1965. This union was blessed with two children, Trina and Andrew.
Bill was active in his community, professional and business organizations throughout his life.
Survivors include his wife Teresa; daughter Trina and her husband Dan Delgado, Garden City, Kan.; son Andrew Morrison and his wife Trista, San Diego, Calif.; grandsons Demetreus, Spencer and Hunter Delgado; parents William E. and Helen Morrison; sisters Rhonda and her husband Lee Gillispie, and Lola Trotter, all of Edgemont; brother Jim Morrison and his wife Gwenda of Rapid City; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, at St. James Catholic Church, Edgemont, with Rev. Peter Kovarik and Deacon Pat Coy officiating.
Visitation will be at Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 15; services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 16, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Ainsworth, with Rev. James Hunt and Rev. Michael Stec officiating. Burial to follow in Grandview cemetery in Long Pine.
Osheim-Catron Funeral Home of Rapid City and Hoch Funeral Home of Ainsworth, Neb., are in charge of arrangements.

Esther Lucile Wiegand
NEWELL - Esther Lucile Wiegand, 92, Newell, died Sunday, May 12, 2002, at Lookout Memorial Hospital in Spearfish.
Survivors include one daughter, Rita Wiegand, Newell.
Her husband, Myrle Wiegand, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Kinkade
Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, and for one hour before services Wednesday, May 15, at Newell Independent Congregational Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Mel Dietz and the Rev. Tom Martin officiating.
Burial will be Friday, May 17, in Sibley, Iowa.
Carl E. Seeley
NEWCASTLE, Wyo. - Carl E. Seeley, 58, Newcastle, died Sunday, May 5, 2002, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Newcastle.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Thoet, Newcastle, and Bertha Billings, Jackson, Wyo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Upton, Wyo., with the Rev. Troy Heidt officiating.
Frank B Williams
RAPID CITY - Frank B Williams, 87, Rapid City, died Monday, May 13, 2002, at a Rapid City nursing home.
Survivors include one son, Douglas Williams, Rapid City; four daughters, Jo Ponder, Bonnie Williams, Linda Williams and Nancy Heltsley, all of Rapid City; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Arrangements are pending with Osheim-Catron Funeral Home of Rapid City.

LEMMON - Ramona Ham, 96, Lemmon, died Sunday, May 12, 2002, at Five Counties Nursing Home in Lemmon.
A family service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, at Spencer Memorial Presbyterian Church in Lemmon.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. P.J. Southam officiating.
Burial will be at Greenhill cemetery in Lemmon.

Virginia Dawn DuBois Glanzer
RAPID CITY - Virginia Dawn DuBois Glanzer, 87, Rapid City, died Sunday, May 12, 2002, at Wesleyan Health Care Center in Rapid City.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Glanzer and Jay Glanzer, both of Rapid City; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Samuel Glanzer, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, at Carlsen & Aldinger Funeral Home in Spearfish.
Visitation will continue for one hour before services, which will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Spearfish, with the Rev. Randal Fett officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery in Spearfish.
A memorial has been established for Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Vivian Mabel Wounded Head
POTATO CREEK - Vivian Mabel Wounded Head, 85, Potato Creek, died Monday, May 13, 2002, in Rapid City.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Bullman, Salt Lake City, and Donna Long Soldier, Rapid City; three sons, Garrett Wounded Head, Tulsa, Okla., Paul Wounded Head, Rapid City, and Darrell Wounded Head, Olny Springs, Colo.; one sister, Gloria Amiotte, Rapid City; three brothers, Roger Amiotte, Interior, Gordon Amiotte, Wanblee, and Wallace Amiotte, Rapid City; 22 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
A two-night wake will begin at 1 p.m. today at St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Potato Creek. The second night will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at Native American Church in Potato Creek.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Native American Church, with the Rev. Emerson Spider officiating.
Burial will be at Native American Church cemetery in Potato Creek.
